Despite several complaints to appellate of airtel. No improvement.

Issues faced :
A. Frequent disconnections
B. Horrible speed despite 3g package.
C. Frequent call drop
D. While using dongle, each time a connection takes place, a new popup window of airtel opens and i do not know how much mb gets downloaded because of their webpage opening. The moment i start on my working page there is a disconnection.

With the automatic reconnection ticked, reconnection starts and again your new windows of their website gets opened and another few mb's get downloaded.

Foe each connection few mb's gets eaten away by airtel.

This goes on and on and their website eats away all my data.

Kindly take up with relevant authorities above appellate, for immediate action.

Need an Airtel tower to be installed near Mother Dairy (Ankur Apartments to be precise). These folks keep talking about 4G everywhere but even a 2G network without data is not received. Not sure whom to address this complaint to at Airtel.

    Date of incident: 9th August' 2016

    I was repeatedly being called on my cellphone for last 2 months by Airtel executives to port my number from Vodafone to Airtel citing many benefits and an exclusive plan of rs. 399. The nature of my job requires internet connection 24/7. So keeping in mind Airtel's regular ads on 4G and network ppromise, I finally decided to port on 30th July. My number was successfully ported on 8th August' 16.

    But since then the experience of joining Airtel has been disgusting to say the least. List of complaints are as below:

    1) The pack I was promised was never activated on my phone and instead a pack which has no internet pack was activated.
    2) Despite my repeated calling the customer care my issue has not been resolved. "An executive asked me to give the name and number of the executive who called me initially on my phone 15 days back".
    3) Though i shared all the details of the plan they still cant activate the pack.
    4) I have been without internet for last 4 days, but Airtel has done nothing about it.
    5) When I raised a complaint No: 70787505 on Airtel, they told me it will take minimum 3 DAYS to change the pack on my phone.
    6) And today when i again asked the executive has no information on when the pack will be activated. And when I asked him to share his senior's email ID and contact number he kept down the phone and vanished.
    7) Apart from all this frustration there are regular call drops
    8) regular no data coverage and messages that you missed a call, despite me being in a 4G network area!!!

    Porting to Airtel has been the worst decision that I have taken ever. Sorry Vodafone, you are the best.

      Myself is arun kumar with airtel digital tv id number [protected]. My digital connection has stopped (Error code-14) on 24/07/16 at 15:00 hrs. I called to customer care and enquire about the issue, they informed that someone has called from [protected] (Caller name:-mr. Manish) and he requested to upgrade my stb box and same has been done from airtel end. I was shocked that i did not have given such request still you stopped my connection due to your end mistake.

      Then i asked airtel customer care person to register my complaint for the same. 1st complaint was registered at 24/07/16 at 15:57 hrs. Complaint id:[protected]. There are lots of other complaint numbers also provided which is given in the last.

      After the complaint, on 26/07/16, mr. Jitu engineer (Mob-[protected]) visited at my site to confirm the issue. After investigation he declared that my stb box will change as it has been swapped with another card.In this scenario, i have not done any call for such changes and never requested for the same but still i am torturing by your team for their end mistake. Infect, above mentioned number ([protected]) is not belong to me and my other family person. Even this process of change setting of someone is quite dangers as i also can request you to change setting for other user by my mobile number.

      At last, i would request you to revise your mistake and continue my service with any further delay. Also, for god sake, please improve your customer support process to change the setting of someone stb box so that other user not becomes the victim for the same kind mistake.

      It has been more then 15 days since my connection is off... Airtel executive is giving false commitment of resolving time.. I had contacted to nodel officer also... But she is also replying like " working on the issue"...God know how much wait I have to do... For the problem, which is done by Airtel employee itself

        I've recharged with unlimited data plans with 56 days of validity. But after 2.5GB usage the data lasted. I couldn't able to access further though it was a unlimited plan. And I also seen the balance deductions from my main balance account. I've complained about this issue on AirTel official complaint portal. But I neither get any reply nor assistance.

          Came for survey and successfully done the survey and told it is a good location and there are no airtel tower nearby. I will get a response within 15 days. But it's nearly 2 months and i didn't get any call from you.

            We applied for fixed line wifi service in mea apartment a-719 sector 62, noida on 20th july, they took the form, address proof and money on the next day.
            But its been 20 days and we have been complaining the company as well as the distributor on daily basis, but we haven't received any positive response from that side, hence we decided to refund our money, but again its 4 days and we have not received the money.

              Hi,

              This airtel fraud story starts on july 25 monday. 08:30 in the morning i called airtel customer care around 08:30 in the morning and booked a broadband connection at neeladri road, electronic city phase 1 bangalore.. The lady agent who picked my call promised me that they will come to my house on the same day to provide me internet. I took leave on that day and waited for airtel the entire day. Nothing happened, so evening i decided to call back. Then they picked the call and told they will come next day. Finally some guy from airtel came on wednesday 27 july and took 1000 rs from me as advance, also my id proof and photo. After that same thing, nothing happened. So i called them back on friday 29th july evening and
              An agent called pavan kumar (Customer care interaction id:[protected] picked the call and he told me that they dont have feasibility to provide internet in this area.

              I was shocked and asked him, whether airtel itself were not aware about there feasibility. Then he started giving me hundreds of excuses. I told him clearly that, i am worried because someone from your end will misuse my documents. Then he promised me to send all the docs and my money before august 25. I asked him to make it fast. But he told it is his company's procedure. Okay, i am ready to wait anyway as the money is mine and i worked so hard to earn it also. I informed him to please courier my docs, photo and my money to my address asap.

              As airtel betrayed me with false promises, i took some other broadband connection on 31 july 2011. I informed airtel via email ([protected]@in. Airtel.Com, appellate. [protected]@in. Airtel.Com) to cancel my order on same date. And from very next day i started asking airtel via email for an update on my cancellation request and money, docs refund. And then someone called and asked me to provide my bank statement for neft transfer. I have downloaded my online bank statement and sent the statement to airtel via their online portal, email as well as whatsapp message. After that same story they were asking me to send the scanned copy again after 2 days. Again i sent it. After that no updates from airtel as usual. So i started asking for updates.

              Finally airtel came back with an email on august 07 sunday and i got two calls from airtel (Different agents) as well. Both of them told me that they initiated the cancellation process and asked me to wait for 72 hrs. (I informed both of them, whatever the update is please inform me via email as i wont prefer to pick call when i am at office, they told they will update the feedback). And as per the agreed conversation, i waited till august 10, wednesday and nothing happened as expected. So i wrote a mail asking for an update. Someone called again and started telling me same stories. Then i told them that i will wait till friday, 12th august.

              Again someone from airtel called me on august 11 morning (Actually two times in the morning different agents called me) and told that they have initiated cheque for me. (I informed both of them as well to please update my feedback that i wont prefer call between 09:00am and 08:00pm as it will affect my job, please do email me). Again coming to the point, i told them that i have written lot of emails (With bank statement) as well as messaged all the requested docs for refund in given whatsapp number as advised by airtel before. Also i informed her that, i had spoken 3-4 times with the customer care executives who called me regarding this.In all the conversations whatever it is whatsapp message or email or over phone, i have clearly mentioned that i need only neft transfer. Because as i am working, i don't have time to make a travel to the bank and change their cheque. So i requested them to please transfer neft of rs 1000 and confirm it in this mail by end of the day today.

              And again on same day, august 11 evening an agent called sneha (Interaction id :[protected] called me (Remember, i have informed airtel atleast 4 times that i dont prefer calls between 09:00am and 08:00pm. Still they called me). Back to the story, she told me that they are yet to cancel my broadband request and will take another 3 working days. I wondered about the service level airtel is providing, but she is not at all bothered. She is also telling same stories like all the other agents. None of the airtel appellette agents are not even listening what their customers are requesting. They will just do entirely opposite to what we have advised.

              Yesterday evening i had written a mail again to both of that email id's. I have written my concern again.

              As i told on august 11, morning two different airtel guys called and told, your refund was initiated over cheque. And i got a message also. When i wrote a mail to airtel guys stating that i want neft only, an agent called sneha called me and told you are yet to cancel the request. Even i dont know what is the status of my cancellation request. If i ask for an update, airtel will call every 3-4 days and will ask me to wait. Same story is getting repeated from the first day. Even we dont prefer call and ask them to update this in the complaint, again they will call and trouble us. It is like for 1, 000 rs they are troubling me like hell. I have to do a follow up on each day for last 2-3 weeks which worth more than 10, 000 rs atleast. I mean they keep me doing rs 10, 000 work for 1, 000 rs.

              The most funnier thing is that even airtel guys don't know what is happening. 3 people called me on same day and all three were telling different stories. If this is the case, how do we believe airtel.? How do we find our money to be safe with airtel? I suspect airtel doing this to all their poor (Common man) customers. We work hard to earn a penny, service providers like airtel just sit there and loot our money as well. And when we ask about the status these people will give hundreds of excuses and stories. Pathetic service ever. Even airtel customer care applette manager/head is worst because he himself doesn't know what is happening with his team. If we ask for higher level escalation email id, airtel guys wont provide that as well.

              I also wonder what a troublesome service airtel and its customer care guys are providing to their customers. How many times a customer need to repeat the same thing again and again.?? And at the end, these will do just opposite to what we have advised. I deeply regret now, for the moment i have decided to go with airtel broadband. I didn't got the service and now i have to follow up 100 times to get my money back. I suspect whether airtel is purposely doing this to fellow customers for looting their money. This is the pathetic and worst service i have ever got in my entire life. I am 28 years old now and till the date no other service providers troubled me to this extend. Worst ever...

              So i request all fellow mates, to think 1000 times before you take a decision on airtel broadband.

              But no updates from airtel customer care. I am not surprised, because I only expect this from so called Airtel.

              Please take actions against Airtel. Sir, these guys are treating we customers very bad, even worst than treating dogs. Today Amit (interaction ID: RES[protected] called and told me that they have initiated cheque. In any of my conversation, I never requested for a Cheque. What I have requested is NEFT transfer. And moreover I will not be in Bangalore till August 24 and I will not be able collect their cheque as well. they have issued cheque without my knowledge and my convenience to collect. Now they are gain troubling me with their logics. Amit promised me that, he will check and revert on my request for NEFT and soon after he disconnect, he sent a pre written Email ( Copy and Paste Email) to me. Even Vegetable sellers in street have better business ethics than so called network provider Airtel.

              Sir, this is not a matter of money. Not about 1000 bugs. Its all about cheating each and every common man like me. Please do not allow these corporates to loot a common man. I hope you will take proper actions as they will not do this to others. You can check this forum, Many guys complainted about airtel on the same matter. They are looters and cheaters. And they have a belief that no one will ask them for a common man's issue. So please dont allow any of these corporates to loot a poor Indian citizen.

              Yesterday, I have again email airtel. Afternoon Airtel called me and assured me that they have initiated the NEFT refund. And this will be done within 6 days. I am gonna wait again and need to see what will happen.

              Good Day!

              Today is 7th working day after airtel have told that my money will be credited to my bank account with in 6 working days from 24th of August. I regret to tell that nothing happened. I am not surprised because this is well expected from cheaters like airtel. Sir, please take action against airtel customer care and airtel appelette head. They are simply cheating common allow. Please do not allow them to continue this.

              It's a well planned fraud by ex-airtel or few insiders at airtel but not for long...conspiracy exposed!

              Just like we have in insurance domain/sector agents making fake/fraud calls and fake/fraud smses on behalf of an established company, now we have in telecom domain/sector too - where agents (including ladies a woman named "Priyanka" ) posing as airtel customer care executive - somehow get information about old/new airtel subscribers looking for broadband connection and try to cheat customers.

              First airtel executive rejected my broadband connection request saying it's not available in my area and later after sometime I take their wi-fi connection I get a call from a different (fraud?) agent saying earlier one was a mistake & that my it's available in my area! Is it genuine mistake or should we not smell something fishy?

              If mistake - this is misrepresentation of facts/information, lack of coordination among airtel executives (if mistake) as a whole by their staff - all the way from lower levels up to senior most executives (Mittal's listening?)! What are they doing to prevent such frauds, not even an sms has been sent out by them to warn customers.

              I got a robo-call & later a call from one Priyanka saying that I had requested broadband connection and upon enquiring further I didn't find her very convincing in her responses to my queries esp regarding which airtel office is she is calling from? who she is from airtel? how did she get my info as well as why she claims airtel executive made feasibility mistake. I already had a connection by now so wanted to know how & why she thinks I needed a connection now - customers pls. beware of such fraud on behalf of airtel.

              Hope they set checks & balances in place from top to bottom to help bring trust levels up for sincere customers or else we need to weigh options...don't waste hard earned money and get duped.

              Is airtel doing anything from top(again Mittal's? earning 21cr fixed, 9 cr variable?) to bottom(men on ground doing detailed work) to protect it's reputation? I can understand it's tough job given indian market of 1.25 billion people...kudos to otherwise great job & service Airtel thus far but alas not for long..

                  hi 2 weeks before my internet speed reduced to 8 mbps and then to 13 mbps, wher i am suppose to have 16 mbps. I have sent many emails to customer care, but didn't get any response from them.
                  Atlast i put my comments on the facebook page, got a call from deepankar, and i didn't get any proper resolution from him also
                  And on 9th of this month i got the message saying the data usage exceeded and will back in the normal speed after 11 today the date is 12 and still i have only 512 kbps.
                  After all we are paying money right

                    I r. Venkateshwara from chennai have a complaint regarding the big fraud going on in the market regarding mobile tower installation. I am describing the entire story below:

                    Being a middle class man and being a man who has wish to enhance income, i went through an add in times of india newspaper that airtel mobile tower needs plot/land for mobile towers of good companies like airtel phone. As i also have a plot i thought of applying for this business. So i did it. I called on [protected], number of mobile tower company that i am interested in their project. So they asked me to send my email id and address to know the entire process and i did it. After around 24 hrs rahul kumar singh called me back from no. [protected] saying my plot is suited for their requirements and i had to register with them with this 12, 000 amount for multimedia mobile tower. I registered myself doing so.

                    Then they asked for these documents id proof, address proof and property paper etc to complete the process i kept on doing the same, then they kept on asking for payments telling me about various norms and taxes, they took almost 15 lacs rupees from me in this entire process in there saving bank account and mostly bank account belong to delhi city and there contact number also.

                    I have deposited the amount in below accounts:

                    Rahul kumar singh canara bank branch - madipur, delhi account no.[protected]

                    And when i asked them for accomplishment they stopped picking my calls on [protected] number and when they used to pick my call they used to use abusive words and used to threaten me saying that you do not know our power we are into this business from long time back and everyone supports us whether its police or anyone else. They tortured me mentally saying such things and i got scared. After that i went to bangalore city police station to complaint against fraud mobile tower company, they fired a fir against them under act, section 420, 120 act, and you know these acts are serious criminal fraud act.

                    Though police and cbi is still searching these people but what about the adds that are still going on in the leading newspaper.

                    As per police verification all the companies with these different name are handle by the same single company and which is not registered any where, which you can check online.

                    Already police has freezed few of there accounts still they have few accounts they are working even after complaint. So i request to innocent peoples please don’t deposit such amount in these frauds account.

                    I request you to take strict action against such fraud people so that they may not rule on a common person like this and you take a step forward to vanish all such mishappenings that are going on. They gave me there company address after police verification there is no office they are bastard and fraud.

                          I have an airtel wifi connection for the past 20 months, on various occasions i have registered my complain about bad signal, poor speed, lack of connectivity, etc, to no avail as there is a complete lack of response from airtel in addressing customer service. Although the complains are never addressed, the automatic sms from airtel every time confirms that the problem is resolved.

                          Over the last two weeks there is no airtel wifi signal at all. Numerous complains have been registered by me so far over the past two weeks on the issue, but no representative from airtel has bothered to address the issue. With the exorbitant amount charged by airtel per month (Rs. 1500/- approx), with no service, i will not make payment in view of lack of connectivity for more than half of the month.

                          I hope airtel will respond to this complain and address it.

                                    The customer support guy called and he was very rude in the way he was talking.
                                    Then he asked to do card to card transfer from SBI ATM which is never required for receiving money.
                                    Then he said through Paytm and he asked for my Paytm OTP. I refused to tell him.
                                    It is a total fraud.
                                    There are many ways to send money like netbanking, etc but he insisted on paytm.

                                    Strict action should be taken against this.
                                    The support person was again trying to fool me.
                                    I always thought airtel is the best provide but now its very sad.

                                    Please take some action for the same and I want a refund of my money as soon as possible.

                                      Hi, This is DINU. I have taken one Airtel postpaid mobile connection on 06 AUGUST 2015. The number allotted for me is [protected]. I bought this from AL Airtel Relationship Centre, kadappakaka kollam. The executive told me that the SIM will be activated within 24 hours at any cost. Now today is Thursday 11th august 2016. As of now the SIM is not activated. I have mailed twice and contacted the 121 customer care more than 5 times. The reply I received is that the address verification on my connection is not yet done. It is not my fault. I dont know why this much delay in Airtel for address verification for a single Postpaid connection. postpaid connection . There is no meaningful reply from Customer care also. All fake commitments that customer care is working for 24 X 7. I sent a mail on mnday 8th august. I have not received a reply as of now. Their customer care is not working on Saturday and Sunday. At last I asked them to cancel my connection as it takes too much of time for activation. Atleast for this mail I am not sure the educated Airtel persons will reply or not. I got frustrated too much with the way they treat their customers. One customer care person is saying that address verification will take 7 days. Another person in the next time call is saying that it will take 24 hours. one more person is saying that it will take 72 hours from the time of purchase. There is no uniform reply and finally another person asked me to go and contact the dealer from where I purchased the SIM. This is how the Airtel company is treating their postpaid customers. The number 1 worst customer care experience that I have never had before.

                                        I wanted to install new airtel broadband connection in my house which is in Sabari Serenity apartment Siruseri, chennai. I contacted airtel and in their website, it is mentioned they charge u with 1000₹ as installation fee. I applied online and a parson called me from airtel and said i have to pay 3500₹ as installation charge instead of 1000₹ as mentioned. Why this huge variation from announcing publicly that it is only 1000₹ and you guys actually charging 3500₹? The parsons name was Manish Patel as i found in truecaller. His ph no is +[protected]. Please look into this matter as its not just a small varient.
