I have subscribed for unlimited broadband from bharti airtel since 2009. Airtel had been charging me rs100 every month for extra speed which i never requested. This has gone unnoticed for long period because of complex nature of billing. Last week when i called airtel customer centre to check on this item they agreed that it was an oversight and they immedtiely reverted this rs100 for the current billing. When i asked what about the earlier billing (Rs 8, 400 for 7 years), they told me that i should have bought this to their notice in 2009 itself hence they cannot refund.

1) first of all this additional charge of rs100/month was done without my consent.

2) secondly, the question of this additional charge rs 100 does not arises because this was meant to increase the speed from 1 mbps
To 2 mpbs. Now the current speed is 8 mbps. The minimum speed was increased to 2 mbps several years ago.

All airtel customers please check your bills carefully or you may end up paying more

    I am using airtel 4g network in my samsung mobile. its not working properly and i am not able to receive updates via internet in facebook, whatsapp and all. before this, i was using airtel 3g and it was working fine. airtel person contacted me and gave me new sim cards which are 4g sim cards. after started using that, i am facing these problem. please do resolve this problem so that i can get back my 3g network. 3g network is working fine for me. please convert my sim card back to 3g network itself.

        We have requested to activate national roaming services for our [protected] mobile number, but still now this is not processed we have already sent email to [protected]@in. airtel.com and also contacted mr. vinodh regarding this issue, we received an automated email stating that roaming services is activated but still now problem is not resolved and we made several calls regarding this but there is no response from airtel team. they are forcing us to quit airtel services because of their pathetic customer support team no one is interested to solve this issue.

          Hi sir,

          I have been using airtel 4g postpaid connection from october 2015. as i had lost my sim card, i requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center (hadapsar, pune) on 16th july 2016, but it was not canceled and i was receiving bills. i raised a complaint about this to the customer care center, somebody named akanksha pawar from cancellation department told me that it would be canceled within 24 hrs. on 17th july 2016, i saw that it was still active, so i called up the customer care on the same day, they told me to clear the outstanding, which i was not at all using still i cleared on the same day through online payment and the call was transferred to same person akanksha from cancellation department. she regretted for the inconvenience and again told that she would ask the concern department to cancel it and he assured that it would be cancelled within 24 hrs. it was deactivated the next day, however i can see it active state now also. now i will not be able to use the sim card nor talk to the customer care, i kindly request you to cancel my airtel postpaid connection immediately.

          Please help me out in this regards. it has been very frustrating for me to go over this.

          Consider this as my authorization to cancel my connection and please cancel my connection immediately and deactivate my sim card.

                  On 13/07/2016 i have recharged with rs 55 at 07:40 and in evening there was a deduction of rs 49 and when i asked the cust care today they are told me that u have been charged for using internet and u have opened some game store but i have recharged 186 earlier for 3g pack then how would they deduct the charge from my main a/c
                  When i talked to cc senior representative he told that it cant be refunded but why should i have been charged for the service which i have not used also when i asked for complaint no he didnt took my complain but when i told that i want to complain in consumer forum he took my complain and the complain no is following

                    I am using airtel iptv along with broadband and landline connection, i was sold a costly iptv setbox and subscription few years back stating that its a futuristic technology, the services wasn't up to the mark though and i stuck to it as i had paid them a lot for stb & don't want to lose out on my initial charges. Now suddenly airtel decided to close iptv and forcing me to go for dth which comes with only basic manual paid recording option unlike iptv. I feel cheated because what they offering is not at all equivalent to iptv. I expect nothing less then hd recorder or money back with penalties.

                      I had registered for a new airtel broadband connection.
                      1. The installation team was very quick in collecting the documents from me and a deposit of rs. 1000, for which they said i will get the receipt when the installation happens the next day. But they never came for installation after that.
                      2. The customer service people do not respond at all for phone queries.In addition to that, they did not disclose my application number too. The phone number of the installation team is [protected], which is not at all responsive to our complaints.

                        Dear sir / madam

                        Today i sent my representative to pay the due amount of rs 1140/- for mobile [protected] dated 27th june, 2016 at airtel store near mahajati sadan, central avenue, kolkata. The person took money but denied to issue money receipt. When my representative said that in vodafone stores, they issue money receipts, then he told him to switch the connection in vodafone. My question is that how can a man like him represent airtel. He is so rough and aggressive. His behaviour is really bad. Please do something to stop this types of nuisances.

                            No body came even after taking 1000rs on 11 th for new broadband connection. It had been 3 to 4 days. We had to go towards tata photon plus which is much better than yours. I am going to complaint to the telecom ministry. You are showing 4g ads all over india 4g-open. However your service is pathetic. Already we have many landline connections. We shifted from mtnl to airtel-aleady we are inbound tour operator. Who is your vigilant officer? He said too much but never stick to his word. First time we are complaining. You much improve the service. Even today on 15 th july 2016;he promised that somebody will come at any time today. What is somebody? & no proper time committed. I dont want to complain but this is not the way to treat your customer.

                              My husband and i have been loyal customers of airtel from many years now. we had airtel numbers when we were in delhi, and now since we have moved to bangalore around 4 years ago we are using the same network. we have always been paying all our bills on time.
                              But to our disappointment, airtel has started to be a bad network trying to shell out more money from our pockets.
                              I really regret to say that airtel has the worst customer care now, the representatives are not trained enough to help people with the best possible plans, so they can take advantage.

                              Let me explain,
                              I travelled to us in march. before travelling, i got the rs 149 international roaming plan activated.
                              None of the representatives told me that i can activate 999 plan for the data usage so i can save money. i used internet in dubai and us, but fortunately when i used data in dubai, they auto activated my 999 plan and i saved money and paid only 4000 rs approx (even when my usage was more than rs 54000), which i appreciate.

                              But when my husband travelled to us on june 22, he got the same 149 rs plan activated before leaving. he used internet in dubai and us to inform us about his whereabouts.
                              But in his case, the 999 plan was not activated when he reached dubai.
                              As he was already in roaming and could not call customer care, he sent an email to them asking why the plan was not activated and they activated 999 plan from june 24 and yesterday they sent us a bill of 38000 rs.
                              When he sent the email, rather than giving any reply on why the plan was not activated, they activated the plan from june 24. why no one replied to the email telling why it was not activated??? why airtel only knows how to pull money and not be responsible for what mistakes have been done by them??

                              I fail to understand why airtel is selective in activating plans.
                              We contacted the customer care and they say that 999 plans are not activated automatically, so here are the questions:
                              1. why was it activated for me then?
                              2. why was it not done for my husband?
                              3. where are the rules written in which case it will be automatically activated and which case it will be not? i need to see the link to the rules if it is written anywhere.

                              4. when my husband had called to activate the rs 149 plan, he had told the representative that he would be using internet in dubai and us. why are the customer care representatives not trained enough to tell customers about the better plans available?

                              Airetl has just made it a habit of trying to shell out more money from our pockets.

                              Airtel has been really bad with trying to help us with this issue. they reverted saying they can give us rs 500 discount. we are not begging you for money.
                              They do not acknowledge their fault, and do something about it.

                                  Today i received a call from airtel representative regarding my payment for postpaid bill. she was asking for the payment on the same day. as i already know that i have missed my payments and i told her that i cant pay today i dont have that much money. she started harrasing me by saying that "paise nh hote to postpaid le q lete ho". i said her pls be professional but she was not ready to listen to anything. she was doing that again and again. i have all the proves the call recordings as well. hope u people will help me for that.

                                      I was purchased airtel dth before 3 months. I have paid full one year subscription value rs 4450/-. But set top box in not working from last 13 days. Company engineer has come 5-6 july and not given any solution. I am regularing follow to airtel digital dth/airtel official through email and twitter. But till date i have not getting any service engineer after 6 july. My airtel dth connection no. Is [protected]-001.
                                      Sir, company has not given service or annual subscription value. I am suffering very mentally pressure from airtel fraud.

                                        M/s king security guards having total 16 (r) 16 cug sim of mobile number from sl. no: [protected] to [protected] been catered on 02 june 2016 by mr. dharmender sharma (relationship manager [protected]) of airtel at 39a/102, mohammadpur village, near bhikaji cama palace new delhi.

                                        The signal strength is so poor to establish contact seems to be a punishment and on top of it the callous attitude of the concern mr. dharmender is bonus to handle with above all lodging the complaint with airtel official is like we have won the war.

                                        Is there anyone in the organization who can take care all short of this issue and resolve it.
