Dear sir,


My airtel sim card[protected] now currently not working. Now am working in abroad from india so now my airtel sim card is currently not registered on network so please my airtel number reactivation to my currently place network selection to you added my airtel number. Please kindly requested to reactivated my airtel sim card number.

      I am writing this here after highest level of escalation i.e. the Airtel appellate team, multiple conversations with the supervisors and customer care as Ive not been getting an explanation for excessive charges on the bill of the number [protected] for the billing duration of 5th May 2016 to 4th June 2016.This number has been with us for more than 10 years now.

      We noticed excessive billing on the 'my airtel' application (image 1 is a screenshot taken on 9th of May) and had been following up with the customer care to understand why the charges are so high despite following all instructions given by the customer care.

      The following will give you a chronological order of events that unfolded:

      23rd and 24th April - I have a conversation with customer care to activate necessary things for international roaming.

      26th April 2016 - lands in the United States and switches off mobile internet.

      6th May 2016 - I notice that the Amount on the myairtel app for [protected] was abnormally high. I notice something is wrong and remove the SIM card while i attempt to connect with your customer care through my son in India.

      9th May 2016 - We realize that its going way overboard, the app says I have a unbilled usage of Rs 4457 for usage in a duration of 2 days! That too when mobile internet was switched off! I took a screenshot of this and is attached in the email.

      10th May 2016 - I call customer care from the number [protected] to figure out what exactly were the charges levied for. The person in customer care says he cannot check as he doesnt have access to do so and also mentions that the billing is abnormally high. Asks me to check once the billing cycle is done.

      14th May 2016 - I check the 'my airtel' app again and the unbilled amount gets stuck at Rs 5535.

      6th June 2016 - when i checked the app again, the bill got generated and says Rs 5244. I call customer care to be informed that the bill will take 4 days to generate and details of transaction will be available only after these 4 days. At the same time I get the Rs 599 plan activated for international roaming.

      8th June 2016 - unbilled usage says Rs 5535 for the duration of 5th June to 7th June 2016 when SIM card isnt in the phone! I was appalled! have taken a screenshot - attached as image 2.

      10th June 2016 - Call customer care again trying to understand whether the bill had been generated. Get an answer that it has not been generated yet. Ask to connect call to supervisor.


      13th June 2016 - after the bill has been generated, I realize we had been charged for Internet by AT&T. All the while when mobile internet was switched off!

      Ever since then, we had been trying to connect with the customer care and supervisors, but the call to the supervisor never connects despite being on hold for over ten minutes. We made multiple calls from both two numbers to connect to the supervisor but to no avail. I resort to asking the customer care to arrange for a call back but the calls never come to the number requested to call to!

      We called again on 20th July and waited until we could connect to a supervisor. He says he cannot help me beyond a point and asked me to connect with the appellate group, which is supposed to be the highest level of escalation.

      Appellate team is no more helpful than the lower level in giving an explanation. They keep repeating that the bill charges are correct and their billing system is never wrong! Ask about the inconsistencies in billing for the month of June (Attached in the screenshot) they explain that the unbilled amount is charged without applying offers! I mean, we get unbilled usage when the SIM card was not even in the mobile phone! No proof given as to what ive used mobile internet for despite it being switched off or where has the traffic gone to.

      The other issue is - Threat to disable service incase we dont pay the bill within a stipulated time frame despite having delay on their end to resolve the issue and not heeding to requests to extend the date of deactivation to ensure the issue is resolved before bill payment.

      Previous to this issue, I have invested a lot of time and energy in getting bills sorted for the number since we always got Rs 750 levied extra for a whole year! Imagine spending 1 hour over phone with their customer care every month and getting a promise that the problem will not occur again and doing that again next month because the problem was not solved - for an entire year!

      The abnormal levying of mobile internet charges even after the mobile internet has been turned off is a huge let down and had forced us to remove the Sim card when in the United States. Connections from work and other members of family were severed, including when father met with a major accident and broke 15 ribs. What would have happened had i ignored the high billing charges in the beginning of May in the 'myairtel' app and we get a bill of Rs 30, 000 for usage we never did? The lack of explanation is even more appalling and is subject to questioning the reliability and integrity of airtel service.

      I demand that the charges levied on mobile internet be removed from the bill and refunded.

        I have three mobile no and one land line/broadband connection from airtel.
        I have standing instruction for auto debit on my credit card for all the four connection. The credit card bank issued me a new credit card with new expiry date with same credit card number on expiry of old credit credit card. I informed airtel about new expiry date through sms in the format suggested by airtel. The auto debit is working for two mobile and landline/broadband number.

        But one one mobile number ([protected]) i am getting voice alert that i am having outstanding balance and payment has to be made immediately. On contacting airtel customer service, they informed me that the mode of payment for the said number is "cheque mode". I have never advised airtel for cheque mode payment and i do not know how they changed to cheque made. The customer service executive asked me to re-register for auto debit online. When i did this i am getting error message "already registered for auto debit". The airtel service executive requested me to send the screen shot of the error message to aitel for resolving this issue. They said the matter will be resolved in 72 hours.

            This morning experience that couldn't make outgoing call from prepaid airtel sim. Later check my mobile app to check the status of prepaid balance.

            To my surprise it shows na. Usually it will show zero (0) but it's strange showing na.

            Mobile number is [protected].

            There is impossible to be balance to zero as it was recharged rs.250/- less than 4 days and it doesn't connect internet. On top it has all booster packs loaded with ample time frame to expire.

            Please expedite the checking and put back my balance.

            Looks it's caused due to the Double SIM and the primary SIM changed to the another SIM which don't have balance. Also within few hours I did got below reply from Airtel, which is pretty fast. ---- Dear Customer, This is in reference to your email regarding unable to view balance on airtel app for your airtel mobile number 9791805163. At the outset, we regret the inconvienience caused. We would like to inform you that currently your main account balance is Rs. 244.73/- .                 Greetings..

                Pls be informed that our landline service is not working for the last 10 days even after repeated follow-up with the concerned service team.. This fault in the landline in happening very frequently and everytime the fault happens we are forced to wait for atleast 10 days minimum.. If this still continues, then we are sorry to say that we will forced to switch the subscription to different subscriber and will have to move with the consumer court in this regard.. This is because, everytime we are waiting for atleast 10 days during fault and the rental amount is also collected for the mentioned period.. Kindly take swift action and confirm us asap.. Waiting for your quick response.. It is very much ridiculous to see such a poor response from airtel..

                    I purchased a airtel 4g dongle with sim plus 6gb data pack for rs. 2000/- from kanishq infotech, 582 dh road behala kolkata 700034 authorised airtel shop on 16/7/16. photo of bill no. 1141 is attached.
                    I was promised activation on 18th july monday 2100hrs.
                    On wednwsday 20th july 16 the sim was activated by airtel ivrs system but till now the data pack has not been activated and i am unable to use the dongle.

                      I have complaint about bad network at my location and not even at my location when i travel within delhi call drops almost everywhere but there is no update from airtel. Everyday i miss lot of important calls and i am not even able to make outgoing calls sometime.
                      I received a call from airtel that our engineer will visit your place and check the network but no one has visited at my location. I have to pay extra money for call drops but there is no rebate. But the big issue is network. When i do not get good network then why should i pay bill, just for missed call alerts? Its seriously a big problem. Please help me to get this issue resolve asap

                      Do you know how much i have to suffer because of this. I am working in mnc and everyday i miss my cab because of this poor network. I am not getting any calls from my cab driver and he moves the cab everyday and i have to go office by myself and i am working in grave yard shift. I have attached a screen shot of missed calls messages i received everyday but cant attach more pictures here. But still no one has contacted me to get this resolve. I recently paid my monthly bill on time but i think i did mistake actually i have not to pay before this issue get resolve. Anyways i am loyal with my side lets see how much effort you do to resolve my problem.

                          I've requested for porting of the sim for the number [protected] from vodafone to airtel on[protected].

                          I received a confirmation on[protected] that the porting request has been validated by vodafone and the service shall start on[protected]:12:00

                          Since then the sim has no signals
                          I reciced another message that when you stop recieving the signals enter you sim and dial a number for confirmation. But when i entered the sim the signals were not present.
                          It has been more than 12hours from the service time and i dont have a communication signal.
                          Ince i am left with no simcard connection i am not able to communicate to the service desk as well.

                          Kindly help me with the problem on email only as i do not have any other phone number

After 4 days i just called customer care to know the status that time they are told there is no feasibility in my area also they said will take 21 days has to wait to get refund amount.

                                This rajani dasegowda i am using airtel number is +91-[protected], i would like to bring to your kind notice that all airtel customer care executives are cheating, misleading and misguiding innocent customers. This is one instance, i have recharged 10gb data for rs.1505/- on 27/06/2016 at 11.00 am through internet banking (Ref: transaction id[protected] but after entering otp the transaction got declined meanwhile my account debited by rs.1505/- but i dint receive any data. On the same moment i called customer care and spoke to one of airtel executives regarding this he said that sorry madam due to our sever problem your transaction got declined and don’t worry you will get your money back within 7 working days to your account. Actually i was very much need of internet data so asked the same executive. Then he said me to recharge once again and your first recharge amount will credited to my account. Same day i have once again recharge same amount of rs.1505/- through internet bank at 12.00 pm even i got 10gb data immediately (Ref: transaction id[protected]
                                After one hour i. E at 1.40 pm i got another 10gb data of first declined transaction. Totally i was credited 20gb data expiring on 24.07.2016. Then i called customer care and i spoke to one of aitel care executive and supervisor regarding this and i asked her to refund first recharge amount as we are middle class family people we could not use entire 20gb data in 28 days by spending totally rs.3000/- in a single month and more over it is burden for us. Then she assured me to solve my issue by discussing with technical team with in five working days. After five working days once again i called customer care then one your executive spoke to me and said madam we can’t refund your money back but we will extend the expiry date to another 28days. I said her to extend that day only but she sad don’t worry madam we will do it later before 24.07.2016. Then she only said me that madam you no need of calling once again customer care and we will only call before 24/07/2016 so i quite by believing airtel executives and supervisors words.
                                After many days that means on 19/07/2016 one of their executive called me and said madam if you want to extend the period you have to recharge rs.186/- and i asked why i should anyhow i am still having 13gb then she said arrogantly if you want recharge or else leave it so i got angry as that was small thing to leave entire 13gb data so i shouted at her and one of their supervisor also that day why that first supervisor or executive dint revealed anything for extending period i have to recharge once again for rs.186/- afterwards he said that once again i will talk to technical team and then i will get back to you. But there is no response from their side so once again i only called customer care executive to transfer call to their supervisor but while transferring call i know intentionally they disconnected the call but i dint keep quite so once again i called then one of their supervisor said me in the neck moment we are not having any option to extent the period without recharge rs.186/- and sorry for our mistake.
                                Like this all airtel rascal executives, supervisors intentionally misleading, misguiding and cheating innocent customers for earning more and more incentives by making loss to poor customers. You people just think for educated customers they are cheating like this what about uneducated and poor village people. They are advertise all over india we won’t hide anything we are best. But we will (Who are all got cheated by their fraud and uneducated executives and supervisor) says they are the very worst connection in this world. They are unfit to serve the innocent customers.
                                If you are a human being go through all recording whatever your nonsense/unfit executives and supervisors spoke so far and how they cheating innocent one and teach them good lesson. Kindly get me justice

                                  I had done 3927 rs recharge on 16th july 16 at 9 pm and money is deducted from my credit card but not credited into dishtv account.

                                  I had resisted the complaint on 17th july for reversal of amount.

                                  After confirmation of your representative that amount will be refunded, i had done another recharge of 3927 rs on 17th july.

                                  But on 19th july i had received a message that my account is recharge with 3927 rs amount.

                                  When i contacted to customer care. I had no response from your team and they waited for me more than 1 hr. To transfer phone to senior.

                                  One of your senior talked with me and he confirm me that amount will be refunded.

                                  But today i knew that there is no any complaint for reversal of amount.

                                  So please look into this matter.

                                    I am using airtel broadband for past two months... Its been a worst experience since i started using this this connection. Mine is 1099 plan with 75 gb at the speed of 16 mbps... Only during the knight time i get the speed, otherwise its 2, 3 or 4 mbps speed... I already submitted a compliant, they called and said will fix the issue.

                                    Please dont cheat public wioth false promise and make them suffer. If this time this is not resolved, i will surely take it to consumer court and face this legally. At least through my effort others will be benefited.

                                    I have not received a phone call also and there is no action taken on my compliant...is there anyone really looking into it...?

                                    Its absolutely disappointing with Airtel, why should we pay so much and not get the basic speed, specially when its is broadband...if you can not resolve, please cancel my connection.

                                      I have been using airtel since last 4+ years.In delhi, it worked fine for me.
                                      Then i moved to hyderabad, where it troubled me a bit but still i managed and tried to remain with airtel. Now its been 5+ months in mohali and i am really frustrated by the services provided by airtel out here. The call drop rate is so high that i am not even able to make a call clearly. I am only able to connect a particular number only after connecting it for more than 4 or 5 times, as most of the times there is an issue of call failure. There is no network coverage and the flagship store guys are saying that airtel is best in mohali.Initially i started with 899 plan but due to all these issues, i switched to 499 plan, still the bill charged is totally erroneous. Moreover i haven't received the bill details. I have made a complaint with customer care regarding my bill details, but what i am receiving every time is just a mail without any attachment i. E. There is no bill attached along with the mail.
