Dear forum,

I am having airtel dth (consumer id [protected]) connection at my home it was not working from last 2 weeks. it shows error no signal i thought is was due to weather but other airtel connection in our society is working fine. so, finally i called airtel customer care to register my complain and to send engineer to see the problem (ref no.[protected]. next day i received a message we tried to reaching regarding your complain and they send mi mobile number of mr rajendra [protected], i keep calling him whole day he does not replayed and when i called cc they said your complain is closed by engineer.
Engineer does not visit my home how can he close the complain without resolve it? and even i called him so many time he does no respond.

Finally i register new complain on 7 july but the same thing happened that men does not pick up the phone. from 7 july till date i am keep calling cc for the same and the send same number and every time the said will resolve with in 24 hrs.
What kind of service is this??? is this you called as brand of airtel?
And why u send such number to your customer if they don, t pick up the phone.
Forum pls help mi to sort out this thing as we advice your whole society to boycott airtel connection any more in our premises.

    Myself Pinaki Konar, From Vill+Post-Garh Kotalpur, Onda, Bankura-722144..I am airtel user for last 8 to 10 month but last 2-3 month voice call congesstion issue a serious problem.Not only Me but a lot of airtel user in my area facing this problem. My nearest Two network tower is 1) Nikunjapur 2) Bheduasole. My mobile no. is-[protected]. Regarding this issue I already complain complain customer care but my complaint is not resolved.

      Dear airtel,
      I sk gupta have a mobile connection with no [protected], i have been regularly paying my bills from last more than15yrs. recently in nov 2015 i opted for 3g service and roaming free service on this number. however i contacted the support team and asked for deactivation of the same services in jan 2016. customer support executive had confirmed that the service would be deactivated and i would not be charged for 3g and roaming in future. however the service was not deactivated and i was charged with extra charges of this service every month. i regularly call up support and they have asked me to pay bill less the services fee. but i dont know why i end up with late payment fee every month. now every month late payment fee add up to my bill.
      In this month june 2016 i again called upto support and your executive again said me to pay bill of rs 693/- only out of my total bill. i am worried i would again be charged with late payment fee and extra services charge for the next month this is causing addition every month to my bill.. this is really a poor service from airtel i have a vodafone connection and have never faced such issues with them. airtel should check and update service act/deactivation request promptly.
      I want my bill to be adjusted to zero as i have paid the amount said by your support team i. e. rs-693/-. i have the recording of the conversation i had with your executive, i can fwd the same as well. please look into the matter

      the same thing repeated this month added late bill payment as expected. worst service provider. instead of showing towers kindly solve customer problems.

        Hi sir,

        My balance rs 60 has been debited from my account ([protected]) on thu 7/7/2016 with any notice.

        For the same issue i have reached airtel customer card at 198 and they are saying like i have activated this crap which i was not aware of it.
        And refused to return my money back.

        And for the last and final decision i have called the same 198 customer care and spoked to airtel floor supervisor mr venkat and bought this concern and the reply was same and denied to refund my money back. is there any value of an india rupee i ask..

        Please find the below ticket number i have created with airtel for this issue

          Hello,

          I have been an airtel customer for quite a lot of years. But recently i shifted to another service provider.
          Soon after submitting the 'porting' request, i got number of calls from airtel customer care, where i was literally interrogated (Seriously grilled with harsh questions and even more harsh tone of voice) by the representatives. After finally telling them all the time they called they ported my number.
          But after porting, i found out that none of the airtel mobile numbers are able to call me. I ask my friends and relatives who had airtel mobile number, to give me a call, but it always said that "this number is not valid" (Yeh number vaidh nai hai).
          I called up my new service provider to solve this, but they said that this is not in their hands and i need to contact airtel for this.

          What i really want is the following :
          (1) clear the blockage by airtel. Let all airtel numbers be able to call on my mobile.
          (2) an apology in written (Email) by the airtel management for the insult by the representatives.
          (3) a compensation for the trouble caused.

            Dear sir,

            I am very dissatisfied with the airtel service and the whole system where customer care executive tells me that all the charges coming to my account are due to my ignorance... great that airtel is doing this cheap cheating with a banner of open network where every thing is transparent...

            I have not received any responses from the so called appellate authority or the the person ranked below yet for a mail sent weeks back and when i enquired about this the customer care executive said that a reply will be sent only if there is a mistake from the part of airtel, again great service...

            After i sent mail to these people i tries to receive the call and internet usage details and they again charged money from my account though the cost of the service was not mentioned in the app.

            The face book pages will for sure tell us how n number of people are getting affected by this irresponsible people.

            I am not sure how to officially lodge a complaint against them so that the customers who feed these type of people are not getting fooled... i have forwarded the mail to ombudsmen to aee if they help

            They only respond when they have received the port request and the response is amazingly fast.

                I m using post paid connection but sorry to say you that as you are claiming for india's no.1 network... are you fooling us?? while taking calls nothing can be heard and too much call drops. sir, am i paying your company for these facilities? & about the internet it's just awesome i am paying for 3g internet but i feel lucky if i can connect to 2g net. kindly sir look into the matter. otherwise have to take other steps. thank you.

                  Dear sir / madam,
                  I have cancelled my new dth connection on june 25 which was ordered in www.airtel.in website on june 24. i placed the order by mistake and it was not installed at my home. i gave complaint by calling to[protected], your customer care executive told me that the money (rs.2725) will be refunded within a week. but till now i did not get any response. and i am not able to talk to customer care by calling to 12121 or 12148, no option to select to talk to customer care.

                    Every once a month our dth shows a signal loss error.
                    We have to call the helpline number and then airtel's representative comes and rectifies the problem.
                    Next month same thing is repeated.
                    This time due to rains, the error came again. After waiting for 2 days, we called the customer care. The representative replied that it would go by itself. We informed that it has already been 2 days, to which he rudely replied that it with go as the rain goes.

                      Hi,

                      Account no. [protected] somashekar reddy, prior to january 2016 we have not used the digital services for quite a while. We have received repeated calls from your sales team that there is a promotion/offer going on.. If we recharge with rs1450 its going to be for one year validity (6months + 6months). The person told to call back once we are done with the recharge. My wife did the recharge online and called back the customer service to say she has recharged with the said amount and took the confirmation from your customer service team that the offer is activated and will last for one year validity.

                      Since 4-5 days when i switch on the tv i could see a message on the screen saying "your account is going to expire soon contact digital tv service". I called the customer service and informed the issue he said he is not the right person and his backend team will get back to me to resolve the issue. After 2 days i have received a call from your backend team and i explained the issue what i really facing with he simply said that it expired because there is no sufficient balance in the account that i know of as this is the issue is related to the offer which was not activated from your side. I really had hard time speaking to your backend team and your supervisor (Irfan) don't have minimum ethics to handle a customer. Not listening to the customer properly and giving out the same information again and again which is not acceptable to any customer no one really appreciate this.

                      Irfan (Supervisor) told me to write an email as he is not in a position to give answers to what i am asking. He also said that we didn't call the customer service to avail the offer "how can he say that" that's rude way of answering to a customer. When i am promptly saying that i called to inform that i recharged with the said amount which is rs1450 to avail the offer. If that is the case you are misleading the customer with false promises and offers. I have raised an issue from my side its your backend team and supervisor responsibility to resolve the issue and now he let me write this email i am not sure where this is going to. Kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible as i am unable to watch the tv now.

                      I didn't hear back anything from you since 2 days.
                      Your message says you will get back to me as soon as possible what according to you is ASAP and not getting back to a customer since 2 days. You have disconnected my services for no reason.
                      This is such a simple thing to resolve an issue whats the point in taking so long to resolve an issue.
                      This is a poor way of serving a customer. I too work in a reputed company and I don't treat my customers like this. This is a big shame you are representing such a big company. I don't know what your managers taught you like 'How to serve a customer'.

                        Hi my name is virender singh i have been facing network issue for a month now n for this i had already register a complaint with airtel customer support n my complaint no. is 70040530, it has been told to me that due to tower shut down within 500m from my mailing address the problem presist & will remain untill the tower installed & it would take some time. i am not able to take / receive any calls sms when i am at home. also there is no service for broadband in my area.
                        I am interested to install the tower at my roof on 3rd floor at my mailing address, so please contact me asap.

                          First and foremost, i am asking my own self whether it is necessary that we should mark our grievances to such a level to get the basic service? the answer is big ‘no’
                          Mobile phone service providers industry is as competitive as much as any other industry existing in this country barring some area of monopolization. however, we are one such company trying to pursue with the know entity (known devil) rather than eyeing for other service providers. else, if i produce the list, probably, i may find it difficult to entertain the readiness of other service providers.

                          We may have by now made 100 plus complaints at all level regarding pathetic network issue. we are so surprised to see that not even a single person from your back up ever visited as of now since last 6 months. it appears to be a case of you are over board and can’t handle the existing customers or you wish to scale down your activity.
                          Even port request placed is not making any impact to your working style indicates that you have a incapacitated set of team working behind which requires immediate redressal. we lost substantial share of business and probably may to continue to lose some till we find the alternate service providers.
                          It is a disgusting experience dealing with you in an era of dime a dozen service providers!!

                            Broadband service not installed, even after the installation fee payment was made 15 days back. i have applied for the airtel broadband connection and i received the airtel phone number[protected] and the a/c no-[protected]. i have registered several complaints but to no avail. i chose airtel for its service, and this has been a shocker. i expected better from airtel.

                                This is the 2nd time, Airtel promised me availability of Broadband connection feasibility, collected all the documents + 1000 Rs and denied me the connection after continuous followup.
                                Reason, not feasible.
                                My connection allocated :[protected]
                                I feel this is a gang operations to collect money from customer, use it for circulation and refund after one month.
                                This should be treated as a crime, rather than default in feasibility.
                                Airtel should be sued for such ill legal operations.

                                Pl. support me on the forum to raise such complaint.

                                  Applied for two connections: 20th june 2016
                                  (one new postpaid and one prepaid to postpaid.)
                                  Submitted documents: 21st june 2016
                                  New connection activated yet, prepaid to postpaid still pending.

                                  I have applied for changing my sim from prepaid to postpaid. but my connection has not yet activated. ([protected]).
                                  Nobody is contacting for solving the problem. when contacting on 121 and 198 they are telling me your address is not validated. but i have received no call from any executive of airtel stating that he is coming for same.

                                  Also, now they are saying that you won't get benefit of 499 but you can get rs375 plan, which has 1gb 3g and no unlimited 2g, like that of 499.

                                  When i expalined the matter to the people who called me, they said they will call me and give me solution in 24hrs, but there has been no call for heloing me solve.

                                  I feel really bad that i am stuck with airtel and airtel is treating a 3yr old customer so badly.

                                    My number is flooded with cb messages all the days. I am feeling sick of it and want to stop all this nonsense. Sender nos. Are; 55315 at 10.22 am and 578784 at 10.21 am on 12.07.2016. Other nos. Are 56789 and 55000 etc. From whom i am receiving cb messages regularly all the days. Kindly arrange to sop coming of these messages otherwise i have no other option but to close this number. Is there anybody who can help me out of this problem.
                                    I also lodged a complaint with customer care service. Their executive replied that they have their limitations and can not stop of coming such messages completely.

                                      Good afternoon, i was thinking airtel customer services is better and any other, i was plan to switch on airtel postpaid connect, on 10 july 2016 i submit my id and snap to your document collector guy, he said you get the call within 2 day for verification, last day 11 july your verification call i get when i was on meeting i cut the call 2 time and 3 time i took the call and i said call me later but your verification incharge call me again n again then i was in meeting i just get out from meeting and i said i do not want to take your connection you can thing i guy can not pic the call when he is in meeting and said to your guy i will collect my money back insert of say polite he was arguing with me *app nhi le sakte paise leke dikha do, number band kar denge, agar apka verification negative kar dunga to number band ho jayega apko airtel ka number lena hi hoga * what is this, this is way to treat your upcoming customer, if you behaves like this with your customer then sorry i not want to become your customer.

                                      I was interest in your services thats why i paid 110 rupees and gave my id and photo to your documents collector for joining but now i am feeling shame for selecting your services.

                                      Kind tell me what to do or otherwise back my id or money.

                                        I have raised a request online for a new broadband and fixed line connection. One of the executive called and sent his executive (Name: chethan and his number is [protected]) to collect the documents. He said that the service charge is rs. 1000 and i need to pay him. Asked him about the receipt and he said that it will reflect in the coming month bill and took the money.
                                        I had to wait for a week and then tried calling, he didn't respond and complained the airtel office. They are such irresponsible people who doesn't care for their customers who requested and to service them. Such a stupid customer service i have ever seen.
                                        So after all this drama about me calling the customer care and complaining them, the airtel customer care came up with a beautiful story stating there's a cable fault in my area and they can't provide it.
                                        So i asked for the refund and they requested me to go online for requesting and the ticket number is aor8a163e.
