Helllo to whom so ever it may be consern
this is tapan sharma from indore (M.P) my airtel mob number is [protected] witch I reasently port from your brand store situated at kalani nagar (airport road) but wherever thy committed at the time of porting they are not given me that kind of services
thing is that as per as written in your brand store(porting will be free) but they have charge me and according to that note they are suppose to given me 250 mb mobile data for next 6 moths but they are not given me they given me only 50 mb mobile data
tell me what should I do?
now you are not taking action aginst your store than I will take help of consumer court as well as from other sorce of mida look I have good contacts and I was ex employ of danik bhasker

I had a very bad experience with airtel dth ...they just do anything without any info.
Even I am planning to shift to other service.
Very worst signal, worst service, costlier and we should not expect any response from customer care.
Instead of investing in bull advertisements(4G in jungle and deserts) they can improve signal coverage in Hyderabad city(main areas where people live) itself.
Robbing the customers in billing for the worst services.

    Hello Airtel,

    From last 6 months facing very bad signals in bangalore . Raised several complaints and as usual no response from customer care and all are closed without rectifying issue .

    Issue Description
    1) No Signals or barely 1 point signal in Location " Blue Lotus Park Apartment, Jinkethimmanahalli, Varanasi, Bangalore -560036. Land Mark NRI Layout Phase 2 "
    2) Total of 220 Flats facing the same issue and no action taken by Airtel
    3) 70-80% of call failures or no signals

    Airtel don't want to listen to customer complaints, Always says our open network says excellent signals hence closing issue.

    Totally fedup with the services, Can we get any immediate attention or any sort of complaint to teach airtel a lesson

    It's been almost 20 days and absolutely no response from airtel . Not sure its direct response to change the providers . We are totally cheated and duped.

      Dear airtel,

      Please stop giving the same routine answer to everyone and agree that your service is poor.

      It has been a month (applied on 02jun16) i submitted my documents and paid rs.1000 for the broadband connection in abbaiah reddy layout. (560093).

      I urge you to stop giving wrong information saying we are working in it.. there will a limit for everything..

      If you are working since a month, let me know the progress of whats happening (coz you claim your network is open and transparent)..

      The airtel representative says we have installed an overhead cable twice but the locals have cut the cable..
      My question - 1) why are the locals against it
      2) how many months do you want to resolve this if it is the actual issue.

      Shame on mr. veersheety (manager) who is handling this job in abbaiah reddy layout.. he stopped answering my calls since 3 weeks after continuos attempts from me to reach him.

      Ms. akanksha singh - try to be specific with your answers.

      i have been fighting hard to get airtel broadband connection since last 20 days.. Initially they said it will be done and collected my documents along with the passport sized photograph from my home here. Suddenly today they called and said that there is no port available and is cancelling my connection request. Is this a joke or what airtel is doing ????? very very frustrating. This is simple harassment airtel doing. Can i expect a reply from airtel ?

        Self hv complained several times about pre-intimation or outage notice... But nothing has ben done till date. Am using airtel 4 G LTE router since last one and half year. Must have called several times due to non connectivity issues. Every time the same old music "Sir we have recd updates from technical team that they are upgrading the server and so the connectivity issues". But nobody sends any intimation about outage. Because if it is common sense that if you are upgrading something, means it's pre planned and if it's so you should intimate your customer accordingly. You will also appreciate that your customer once selects ISP, he is completely dependent on it.
        Example :
        I have to send my weekly report and next week planning to my management on every Sunday. Being having Airtel connection at home, I planned to send reports late night from home itself. When I tried to connect to internet for my reporting, Airtel surprised me with no signals...
        The issue taken up with customer care..I could not get satisfactory answer... It was now do or die situation for me at 01.35 am (4th July 2016). I was frustrated and made three to four calls to Airtel customer Care. Some person called Jitendra, informed that there is no system related issue but unfortunately my line got disconnected... There were now differences in their statements...Some lady called Ketaki, finally came for my rescue in my thisrd call, wherein she connected me to her team supervisor, THE GREAT CHETAN; thorough useless fellow from customer service department. First he said the the technical team is upgrading the systems. I replied "Ïn case o[censored]pgrade, the team should send us pre-alert/intimation"..then his response was there is some technical problem. And for him technical problem and technical upgrade is one and the same thing. When I asked him to apply some brains to distinguish between these two terms he was annoyed and said "I can not help you..No body will respond you from my team". I was really surprised to hear that... Is this the way your customer service works...

          For my airtel d2h customer id [protected];
          I have taken new standard digital box for 490/-;
          And found extremely poor quality of connection given by airtel;

          When i asked the engineer to fit a different hd box, he refused and asked me to all customer care..

          I have raised this concern to customer care;

          Since my box is fitted new only few minuets back today... i w ill only be paying an extra cost of 200/[protected]/-) for getting this standard set box replaced with hd box..

          Kindly resolve this complaint.

            I had requested for a change from postpaid to prepaid for 2 sim connections. While one of them was activatef within 24hrs the second has not been activatefd yet. It has been 10 days. I gave called 59059 atleast 5 times and each time i was told it would be activatec within 15 minutes to 24 hrs. Later when i enquired a bit strictly, i was told to contact the centre from where i have bought the sim. It has been another 5 days and yet nothing has been done.Will I ever get back my number? Please do the needful.

                Hi,

                Applied for two connections: 20th June 2016
                (One new postpaid and one prepaid to postpaid.)
                Submitted documents: 21st June 2016
                None activated yet.

                1. I have applied for new connection by filling in Online promotional

                mailer and received a sim card for 997114****. But on 30th June, when I tried

                to activate the sim calling @59059, the sim has no network. After

                calling at 121 and talking to your executive, got to know I have

                received the wrong sim.


                2. I have applied for changing my sim from Prepaid to Post paid. But my connection has not yet activated. (9971146***).

                3. For both the connections address was same, all docs were same. Connection applied together, received call for both connections together.
                4. Now one connection is activated but I don’t have the correct sim.
                5. I have no update for Pre to Post connection. On checking status by sending
                6. Submitted documents: Proof submitted: 2 copies of Voter id card, 2 copies of Rent

                agreement, 2 photos.
                7. I have made 5 to 6 calls on Airtel call centre in past days but nothing is happening.
                8. Got a complaint number: 7000631, but nothing happened.
                9. dropped email [protected]@in.airtel.com. Received a reply after 19hrs that we will let u know the status o[censored]r query in 72hrs.
                I am +3yrs old pre-paid customer of Airtel and this is what I got in return. Hats Off.

                  I just had very bad experience on 121198 — follo celebrities service was activated on my account and money was deducted. customer care guy was like sir u subscribed and clicked on link :|
                  So clicking link without selecting service, without user authentication, without user approval some airtel service can get activated, so a mis-tap on mobile can deduct rs 60??? clear sign of immature user service or deliberate scam feature in software. when i asked the customer care guy to give me details like url, service etc that was clicked he told we can not give and your money ll never be refunded... like we deduct money and you can not do anything so go to hell... and after long talk the guy told i[censored] don't want to continue with airtel just don't.... wow... so much confidence in your customer care guy to say like this... i have had this same issue in past where money was refunded and that service was asked to provide user approval before continuing. the user experience with customer care was worse of all and the kind of response that floor manager gave it was like he owns airtel and they can deduct money like this anytime via url even if it is by not deliberate on any popup... i asked him to atleast look into the issue n check how it was all triggered but the manager (ramesh) told to stop using airtel — by open network we did not ask you to scam so openly :|

                  As per trai you can not make user subscribe service without his approva, written consent, sma etc.

                  I just had very bad experience on 121198 — follo celebrities service was activated on my account and money was deducted. customer care guy was like sir u subscribed and clicked on link :|
                  So clicking link without selecting service, without user authentication, without user approval some airtel service can get activated, so a mis-tap on mobile can deduct rs 60??? clear sign of immature user service or deliberate scam feature in software. when i asked the customer care guy to give me details like url, service etc that was clicked he told we can not give and your money ll never be refunded... like we deduct money and you can not do anything so go to hell... and after long talk the guy told i[censored] don't want to continue with airtel just don't.... wow... so much confidence in your customer care guy to say like this... i have had this same issue in past where money was refunded and that service was asked to provide user approval before continuing. the user experience with customer care was worse of all and the kind of response that floor manager gave it was like he owns airtel and they can deduct money like this anytime via url even if it is by not deliberate on any popup... i asked him to atleast look into the issue n check how it was all triggered but the manager (ramesh) told to stop using airtel — by open network we did not ask you to scam so openly :|
                  I had a similar problem with airtel. It seems the FOLLO CELEBRITIES was subscribed at 11:30 PM on 7th July. This was when i was asleep. How on earth is it possible to enable a service when a person is not even using his/her phone. This is a cheap trick of making money and Airtel is now resorting to such tricks.
                  Got my refund today ... but customer service should get better at-least the way they deal n handle clients. There should option to stop and get money back within 24 hours of activating service to prevent such things.
                  This is ridiculous that i got debited with rs 60 /- on follow celebrities, when i called the customer care and i got the same response .

                  I now see Airtel illegal mass activation of VAS has affected my mother number as well ([protected]). Rs.30 was deducted on 28 June. If Airtel is not earning money, why doesnt it ask all its employees to sit at every traffic signal. Perhaps we will give alms to your company. Please be open to beg for money on streets rather than stealing and robbing people of money.

                  The best resort for Airtel would be to surrender its license and apply for "Begging License" with GOI.

                    Hi Team,

                    I recently did MNP from Vodafone to Airtel. It was not successful, it took around 10 days. Later after a week, my connection got disconnected due to documentation problem. I've submitted my documents thrice (2 with Airtel Relationship Centre, KH Road, Bangalore and 1 in the Airtel head office, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore).

                    From almost a week my number is disconnected (ONLY OUTGOING, NO INCOMING). Everytime, I call your helpdesk, they just say "there is documentation problem, please submit the documents" but I've submitted it thrice.

                    I had to receive calls related to job and other emergency calls but I'm not able to because of this. Please provide a proper solution. From almost a month, you've put me in a lot trouble. Please try to give a solution at the earliest.

                    I've submitted my Aadhar card has proof.

                          Hi,

                          Last year I had bought a TV from Flipkart. With the TV i got a deal to buy Airtel HD Set-top box for Rs.699 instead of regular[protected] price range. I took the offer and asked the Airtel to install my set-top box. So came the install date. When technician arrived at my place, he said sir you will not get coverage on your floor(5th floor) so you'll have to get it installed on terrace of your building which was 15 floors(20th floor) above my flat. It sounded fishy to me as that guy just by standing on the floor judged there wont be any signal here(Note: All DTH companies have equipment to check the signal strength which this installer was not ready to take a reading from).

                          Since i had no other option, i asked him to install dish on terrace. With new connection you just get 10meters of cable free, for rest of extra cable you have to pay Rs.10/m. In my case this extra cable turned out to be 75 meters so i paid extra Rs. 750 atop of Rs.699 for discounted set-top box cost. In total I paid Rs. 1449. To this point everything went smooth.

                          Now come my new neighbors, same floor of-course. Now they get a Airtel HD box installed but right next to their flat on the same floor (5th floor). Apparently they had coverage on the same floor where my box would not receive.

                          So I called the company to complain about this issue. After chasing them for 2-3days I got a call from[protected]. To my surprise gentleman on the line said sir we have investigated your case and it seems there was no coverage on the floor when you got your set-top box installed, but when your neighbors got their installed we had enhanced the coverage in your area. Apparently the gentleman forgot these set-top boxes are satellite tvs, they receive signals directly from satellites not from cell phone towers.

                          I cant laugh enough about the dumbness of airtel experts. If their experts are this dumb i could agree the installers would be even dumber after all they are unskilled labors. I am now waiting for Dish TV portability to come so that i discontinue paying a money making fraud company and switch to some good provider like Tata Sky.

                          Anyways If you are getting a bundled offer for set-top box and be prepared to hear that there is no coverage nearby your home and you'll have to pay extra to install the dish in some weird location to get the coverage.

                          I am not gonna use any airtel product ever. A thankless company who doesnt care about their customer complaints and is busy making money out of customers who do not do their homework.

                              If i send a text message it shows "not delivered" in a green bubble as i am using iphone 5s. I already contacted airtel customer support several times and still the issue goes on. I changed my sim card to another phone as if there any problem with my iphone but its not.
                              With no response from your side i contacted apple support. They said, in "settings - messages - send and receive" both my phone number and email should be shown but the phone number is missing from my phone. So they told me to contact the network operator and i did, this part should be done by the network operator and i hopes to be.

                                I applied for porting my number from andhra pradesh to tamilnadu. Per Airtel's advice, this should normally take 10 days. But this has not happened even after a month for me. On contacting both the customer care office and the local airtel store, where I requested porting, in both places, they mutually ask me to contact the other - customer care asks me to contact local airtel store and the local airtel store asks me to contact customer care without any resolution.

                                  A consumer care person 'kanhiya' called me on 30 june 2016 and told me that a offer is availabe on my account that 'miniplex' channel is available for 2 months for free,
                                  i asked him twice that whether i will be charged anything but he assured me that iwill not be charged and i should subscribe the channel, as i subscribed the channel and 90 rs deducted from my account immidiately.
                                  Then i called the customer care center and their executive told me that my channel will be deactivatd and my money will be refunded in 48 hrs.
                                  everytime i call them they tell me the same thing. today 48 hrs are passed but i have not refunded niether the channel has been deactivated.

                                      Data got exhausted in 2 days with much usage. when I enquired at the customer support, they told me that 8GB of data has been used from mid night 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM when none of my family members were awake. I checked all my devices in case there was any auto-update. To my surprise none of my devices auto updates even if it is so 8GB in 1-1.5 hours not likely.

                                      Incident-2:
                                      I bought smartbytes worth Rs. 600/- (5GB data). Same thing repeated after 2 days. 4GB data exhausted in few hours.

                                      I requested Airtel to provide my any proofs of download, MAC address etc. but cold response from them.


                                      Incident-3
                                      Now I changes WiFi password and device password. As an additional security I also added MAC address filter with only my home devices added.

                                      I added 1GB data worth Rs. 200/-. this time I tracked data usage religiously. But as soon as I switched on this morning within few mins of reading news on websites 500MB vanished.

                                      It looks like a serious problem with airtel in data usage and protection. Response from Airtel call center is cold, they just copy paste standard responses without understanding the problem.

                                      Any suggestions to address this problem?

                                        Myself pradeep kumar and my fixedline no is [protected] the issue is that recently airtel retention team has given me a new plan of 999 with 8 gb data 25 gb addition from ur retention team but today is the 5th day of my plan but my additional data is not updated in my account. I had complaint many times in your customer care but airtel executive said every time u wait only 24 hours but they not taking any action abt today is the 5 th day of my new plan i really fed up your airtel services please tell me the truth what can i do in this case.
