Follo all week service has been activated on my mobile without my prior approval. now airtel is asking me to send a message of stop to deactivate the service but when they have activated this service on their own, they should deactivate it themselves. here is the msg.

Follo all week service has been [protected]@rs35.0 for 7days. txn id n[protected], 08jul16 11:44. service will be renewed after validity expiry. to deactivate, call or sms stop to 155223. for more services, call 56789 or click http://56789. airtel.in

When clicking on the link given in the sms, the page that opened forced me to switch off my wifi and shift to mobile data connection to proceed but it does not give any option to deactivate the service so i left the window and resume my previous work on internet forgetting that wifi is off so within a few minutes my 24mb data was utilised and i was charged 98 rupees so ultimately this auto activated scheme cost me around 125 rupees.
Airtel must stop harassing their customers by auto activating such schemes that too are own auto renewal mode every weekly.

    My phone is in my pocket and suddenly i receive a text saying that follo celebrities pack has been activated and i have been charged rs. 90 for the same.
    After calling 198 customer complaint helpline, they are persistent as i have subscribed because my internet was on and i have subscribed it on a page.
    Dude, i always keep my internet on. thats for whatsapp and other messaging services.
    When asked what is that vas about.? they don't even know that.
    What is that? is it what is expected from a company like airtel? is this why i'm paying rs. 298 for 1gb of 4g data, just to be cheated? why should i not opt for other telecom companies which offer the same things at lower rates?

      I got a message saying that my mobile got activate for some follo celebrities service and i am charged 30 rs. Txnid : n[protected]. When i called customer care he says i have activated service at jul 7 : 10:58 pm. I didnt register any services. I was at dinner and didnt use data that 1 hr.

      Cc guy says that i used internet and when asked to give the details o[censored]rl or websites i browsed, he says they dont have such info. So i asked him that can i send my browsing history, he said he cansend it to www.airtel.in. How can we send it to a website, upon asking for mail he said there is no mailid's.

        I could never use my airtel money coupon on my first transaction... And which made me believe that it will work only when i enroll with airtel money;

        Therefore after paying for my airtel d2h ; i loaded 1609 in my airtel wallet..

        And still was not able to use my coupon new 15;

        I feel cheated by airtel;who did wrong promotion so that i can load my wallet just trusting pathetic and cheater company airtel;

        I want that my new15 coupon should work for my account atleast once ([protected]) or else i want complete refund of 1609 (Without any deduction);i do not want to ever use the cheat airtel money.. Or its products..

        Airtel Money si a cheat organisation, and i suggest user to never use it...
        i got sms at my mobile [protected] when i registered on airtel money to sue airtel and get 15% off for new users...by using code NEW15;
        i loaded my Airtel wallet with Rs 1609/- but when i trues using airtel money on my tarsnaction with coupon code NEW15...
        IT DID NOT WORKED..
        AND I FOUND THAT AIRTEL CHEATED ME...

        NOW I WANT AIRTEL TO REFUND THIS AMOUNT BACK TO MY CARD...

          I have been using airtel from the last 8 years and the most applauding thing had always been the quick turn around from your team.

          Responding that the team will update you within 2-3 days does not make sense until you clarify the reason behind the delay or at least keep me informed about what is going in the back end.

          Continuously chasing you guys was all in vain and i think i am left with no option but to choose a different service provider.

          Changing state was almost an inconvenient process for me but the more tedious process is now to follow up with you guys for a new connection ([protected]) and porting my existing connection ([protected])

          Neither of the requests shows a progress and i am not silly to continuously email you guys and walk in to your care centres to get an update.

          You really think this process takes 2 weeks to get in place??

          I really wish to escalate my words to the concerned managers who can therefore look into this matter and see what has been the progress. putting the ticket on pending wont fetch you brand value.
          Respect the time of the consumer and understand the inconvenience caused due to your negligence and delay.

          I agree porting may take time but activation of a new number takes 2 weeks, i really cannot buy that!!

          Hope somebody takes the initiative to look into this matter on priority.

          Complaint no.[protected] which was to be resolved before 12 am on 8th July and rather than a resolution a new complaint has been raised and I am being asked to wait for another 72hrs .. Sick!

            Airtel activated this nonsense service called "follow celebrities" on my phone for rs 90 / month on my phone number from nowhere. When i called the customer care, they told me i had clicked on an advertisement during browsing the internet and it got activated, to which i replied i never did that, then customer care was very happy speaking about how i must have mistakenly clicked on such advertisement which people generally do during browsing.
            Bull they say, no refund provided.
            This happened on 8th july 2016

              I applied online for a wifi connection.In this regard, a concerned person mr. Ashish took rs.500 from me as decided and after that neither i am provided the connection nor my money is refunded back. There is no designated number on which the query is sorted. I am running in lucknow from here and there to different offices for the proper reply and calling different numbers also. There is no response. Only reply is technical failure and it will take time. Is this the reply the company should provide? And they say they have open services informing each and everything to the client. First of all i want the money refunded to me along with the expense which i have to incur or travelling and calling and also the mental harassment which these people have created.
              Every alternate day an calls and say we will look into the mater but nothing has been done till now and its getting on the nerves now.

                Hi this is to inform you that im having data connectivity issue the service provider is airtel and they are misleading us thru "open network" ad i can't connect to internet that too 3g at my place where as earlier i used to and i filed a complaint about the same with airtel they gave me a ticket # 69906842 and the technician just called twice to ask the address and said he would come and check till date not even a single person or call i have received from airtel. pathetic service from a pathetic service provider. this complaint will also be published on social media platform so that public should be aware of false promises and misleading done by airtel.

                Even after knowing what the issue is airtel says
                "We would like to acknowledge that we are working to address your concern as soon as possible.

                We will connect with you to get additional details, if required, to resolve the concern effectively." Just to let know Airtel we are not in the era of bullock carts or telegrams we live in 24th century. From the last one month Airtel is working on my issue if that was the case it wouldn't had to last for a month or more than that neither im living in a far far of remote village. Does Airtel even knows the meaning of "As Soon As Possible"? I filed a complaint in mid June and now it's nearing to a month. Airtel stop giving false promises that you can't fulfill. Always remember to resolve the query or issue sooner than later.

                  And 15 rs deducted from my main balance..
                  I didnt activate anything.. they activate automatically and deduct balance..
                  Tried to contact customer care but call disconnected every time when i pressed to speak to executive..

                    A value add service named super store has been activated in my mobile balance has been deducted accordingly without my confirmation.

                    I have contacted the customer care and they are telling this has been activated through clicking some third party url's. i'm sure that i haven't done such activities.

                    This has happened twice, not just once.
                    At first, on july 7th i got the conformation message on 5.30 am on service activation. please note that internet was not enabled from the night before. i called the customer care and they have deactivated the service and refunded the amount (rs 50) which they have deducted.

                    Now today 8th july, i got the same service activation message at 1am and rs 35 has been deducted from mobile balance.
                    Again i called the customer care and they have refused to refund the amount instead they deactivated the service.

                    I have no idea how these are being activated without proper confirmation. i have been using various airtel connections for the past 10 years and i have faced similar situations in airtel live which they had previously. those deductions were made when i clicked on some link's unknowingly.

                    I don't have any clue on this as i was not using the internet during the time when the service got activated.

                      I received an sms from Airtel on 02.07.2016 and again on 05.07.2016 which said that there was an internet recharge (2G) 500MB available for Rs.52/- and it would be valid for 28 days. Accordingly, I got the recharge done but received a message saying that the data pack was of only 250 MB for a period of 7 days. I called up the customer care, but they clearly said that they cannot help in this matter. This is clearly a case of fraud by the company on its customers. I am attaching the snapshots for your reference. The customer complaint registration number - CBNRD[protected]. Request you to kindly take action against all such companies which fraudulently loot their customers.

                        I called 121 and made a complaint they told to wait for a week but i didn't get any calls from them.
                        Again i made complaint and no response.
                        I have tried in different handsets and i even swapped the sim.
                        Still i have the same problem. there...

                        They said that if you take internet broadband plan for 999 you can make and add on of 99 to make unlimited calls std and local includes mobile and landline but for the past three months they are collecting extra charge for my no and when i asked it they said they will waver this amount but till now each and every month im paying extra money in thousands. When i went to airtel main customer care center in kormangala bangalore they said sorry sir the changed the plan from unlimited to normal but still your plan is unlimited you need to contact customer care for this, when i logged to airtel website online still they have the same advert mentioning the same noms unlimited calls when you have 999 broadband service

                        Please do something to upgrade your service otherwise we left .

                          I am regularly daily getting call from airtel no. +[protected] and [protected] that i have to pay bill for the number i am not using. i have two idea postpaid and two airtel prepaid numbers and status of all these are very well checked and cleared. on daily basis a lady call to my wife and ask to pay bill for number which she was not being using. i also got the sms from vk-remind that i have pending bill for 4000/- for number [protected] and surprisingly i never heard about this number forget about using

                          It seems that airtel executives are involved in fraudulent calls and sms or they are keeping shut their eyes from the frauds being happening at airtel name.

                          Still you have not clarified your stand, while making complain to appellate authority I came to know that number issued to Sunita Gund which was never applied by us, and its also informed that verification was done by your executive at the address given at adhar card. Please be informed that house we had left 5 years ago, than who was verified at the address given in adhar card? Further we never applied any phone connection from Airtel through the Adhar card of Sunita Gund than how do you get that?

                          Its clear evident that a mobile connection was issued by Airtel to fake person and no verification was done. And who knows that how many number was issued by Airtel at name of Sunita Gund to fake identity.

                          Its a serious and offense matter and you couldn't rid away from obligation, please conduct proper inquiry and send me the document on which basis the number [protected] was issued.

                            जब से हमने यह सिम खरीदा है, तबसे एअरटेल का नेटवर्क हर 4-5 सेकंद में 3G, कभी 4G, तो कभी E दिखाई देता हैं। ज्यादातर समय इसका नेटवर्क 1% भी नही रहता हैं। कस्टमर केअर से बात करने पर, टेली कॉलर कहते है, की मोबाईल चेंज करके देखिये, सिम 1 में एअरटेल का सिम दालीये।
                            अगर ऐसा करने के बाद भी नेटवर्क नही आये तो, 3G मोड पर लगाईये। पहले से ही 3G मोड पर हो, तो मोबाइल स्विच ऑफ करके रिस्टार्ट कीजिये। अगर फिर भी नेटवर्क न आता हो, तो कस्टमर सर्व्हिस सेंटर पर जाईये। कस्टमर सर्व्हिस सेंटर वाले कहते है, की कॉल सेंटर से बात करे।
                            आये दिन यही सिलसिला चला रहेता है। फिर भी आपके नेटवर्क में कोई सुधार नही होता हैं। एक बार आप ही यहां आकर नेटवर्क चेक करके बटाइये, की यहां रेंज है या नही। क्यूंकि, कॉल सेंटर वाले तो कॉम्प्युटर पर देखकर कहते हैं कि, लोकेशन पर फुल्ल रेंज है।
                            आपको थोडीसी तकलीफ होगी, पर यहां आकर नेटवर्क चेक करके हमे बटाइये, के यहां नेटवर्क है, है तो कितना हैं। सारे प्रसारमाध्यम के सामने ये सिद्ध करके दिखाइये, की आपका नेटवर्क सही हैं या गलत।
                            अगर आप ऐसा नही करते हो, तो मैं मिडिया को सिद्ध करके बताऊँगा के आपका एअरटेल नेटवर्क कितना बोगस हैं।
                            आशा करता हूं, की मेरी इस समस्यां का हल आप जल्द से जल्द निकालेंगे।

                              I applied for new broad band connection on 3rd july sunday. The person promised me to give the connection on tuesday 5th july. On tuesday when i tried reaching him he didn't pick up the call later i called the other person called vinod, who said there is some server issues and i'll get the connection by wednesday 6th july. Only after i made this call i got the message that my application is received. What does this mean??

                              Later on wednesday, i got calls twice but later no one turned up. When i mailed to customer care, they said address was fatal. How can the address be fatal when your personnel has come collected the application from my house?

                              I don't know why so much of complications and fake promises in giving the connection. I have no receipt of 1000rs i have paid. Now i am wondering if i have given money to some cheater.

                              Today july 8, i have no connection neither a confirmation on when i will get. No proper response from customer care also.

                                I have been deducted rs.99 citing the reason that my mobile number has been activated for airetl super store. I have not done any activation. When contacted the customer care, the told me that they can stop the service but they cant refund the money. I dont want the service and i want my money refunded to my balance. I got the information from the customer care that an request from my mobile has been sent to activate the service. I have never sent any request to activate it. I need the exact time log when the request has been sent from my mobile. This is causing an immense incovenience. I have mailed the issue along with screenshots to airtel. [protected]@airtel.com and still i dint receive any response from them. It would be of great relief if the service has been stopped and amount has been refunded.

                                  This is dr subham das from amri hospitals, bhubaneswar. i am also one of your corporate customers, in fact, it was i who had recommended for airtel corporate mobiles in our hospital. i would like to express my grievances regarding automatic activatiopn of some services in my personal airtel 4g prepaid number ([protected]).

                                  On 6th july 2016, suddenly rs 90 was deducted from my prepaid balance with an sms that "follo celebrities service has been activated on your mobile and rs 90 for 30 days has been deducted, the service will be auto-renewed after 30 days". thereafter, i immediately deactivated the service. i tried to lodge a complaint for such auto activation and balance deduction to your complaint number 198 on 8th july 2016, none of the executives wanted to take my complaints and thrice they hung up the call without even bothering to finish the conversation. i am medical administrator at amri hospitals bhubaneswar don't have any children also who can accidentally activate any service. your executives always put the blame on me that i had activated the service which is not the truth. you can check my sent sms and call history and see that no such request were ever made.

                                  Another important thing i would like to mention that though i had selected english as the language for 198, yet almost all your telecalling executives (especially mr jiten) are very poor in english or hindi, they always switch over to oriya language without respecting my choice and comprehensibility. myself being a non-oriya had to face quite a tough time understanding their dialect all 3 times that i had called airtel customer care so far.

                                  I therefore request you to kindly take immediate action regarding my complaint and rs 90 so deducted may be credited back to my prepaid balance as soon as possible. furthermore, as a longtime customer of airtel, it is also my earnest request and suggestion to you that airtel being so committed and good service provider, does it suit you to resort to such mal-practices like unauthorised service activation and balance deduction just for a small benefit? if such practices continue, the customer satisfaction with airtel will not sustain and the company will earn a bad repute like reliance and vodafone. myself and amri hospitals being also a corporate customer of airtel mobile, i hope that you will take immediate action to this email and the deducted balance will be immediately refunded to my account.

                                      I have requested airtel customer care to put deactivation request for data card number [protected] on 26th april. at the time unpaid billing amount was 695 rupee. i cleared my undue payment, and thought this data card sim will be deactivated as i have already put the request. as usual this fraud company did not cater my request and sent me another bill receipt for next month, now they are torturing me to pay the another bill payment though there is no usage and even deactivation request was already in place. now after lots of discussion, these guys are not ready to admit their mistake and keep calling me through different extension. i am planning to drag them in consumer court for torturing me and forcing me to do unethical acts.

                                      I will also escalate this issue to ministry of communication. wait and watch, game begins..

                                      Based on attached customer satisfaction survey what anyone would expect from this fraud company. I think best way to deal with such company is to opt for other big player like reliance communication. Thank you so much airtel. Be what you are, soon you will loose place in telecom industries.
                                      This issue was never resolved. The request was to close this account and I am still seeing bill emails every month. And this team does not want to resolve this . Now I will reach out to TRAI and file a legal cas3 against them.
