This is dr subham das from amri hospitals, bhubaneswar. i am also one of your corporate customers, in fact, it was i who had recommended for airtel corporate mobiles in our hospital. i would like to express my grievances regarding automatic activatiopn of some services in my personal airtel 4g prepaid number ([protected]).
On 6th july 2016, suddenly rs 90 was deducted from my prepaid balance with an sms that "follo celebrities service has been activated on your mobile and rs 90 for 30 days has been deducted, the service will be auto-renewed after 30 days". thereafter, i immediately deactivated the service. i tried to lodge a complaint for such auto activation and balance deduction to your complaint number 198 on 8th july 2016, none of the executives wanted to take my complaints and thrice they hung up the call without even bothering to finish the conversation. i am medical administrator at amri hospitals bhubaneswar don't have any children also who can accidentally activate any service. your executives always put the blame on me that i had activated the service which is not the truth. you can check my sent sms and call history and see that no such request were ever made.
Another important thing i would like to mention that though i had selected english as the language for 198, yet almost all your telecalling executives (especially mr jiten) are very poor in english or hindi, they always switch over to oriya language without respecting my choice and comprehensibility. myself being a non-oriya had to face quite a tough time understanding their dialect all 3 times that i had called airtel customer care so far.
I therefore request you to kindly take immediate action regarding my complaint and rs 90 so deducted may be credited back to my prepaid balance as soon as possible. furthermore, as a longtime customer of airtel, it is also my earnest request and suggestion to you that airtel being so committed and good service provider, does it suit you to resort to such mal-practices like unauthorised service activation and balance deduction just for a small benefit? if such practices continue, the customer satisfaction with airtel will not sustain and the company will earn a bad repute like reliance and vodafone. myself and amri hospitals being also a corporate customer of airtel mobile, i hope that you will take immediate action to this email and the deducted balance will be immediately refunded to my account.
