Airtel... Total fraud!! They are not willing to refund money for services i have not used. Highly unfair trade practice. I see lot of complaints on this paricular topic. If its not refunded i m planning to file a law suit.

Lets check some TRAI regulations to file a complaint to deduct money without user consent

    Dear sir,

    I would like to bring it to your notice that the customer service provided by your company is pathetic.

    We had both airtel and mtnl at our residence. On 24th june 2016, we decided to just keep one of the landlines and choose airtel over mtnl considering your company would provide a better customer experience and i changed my monthly rental plan to a higher plan of rs.1, 299 (8mbps 60 gb) and also requested for parallel line to be able to use landline.

    Though, your technician visited on 25th june 2016 to add parallel lines, however we have noticed fluctuating broadband speed (0.6 mbps to 6 mbps) and frequent disconnection and disturbance in the landline.

    The connection is mostly used by my parents who are senior citizens and they find it very difficult to use your unreliable service.

    Immediately, i again raised a complaint on 25th and since then no one has turned-up even after making reminder calls every day. Either your customer care executives say the technical team will call back within 2 hours or they say the technician would visit within 24 hours.

    I think we have done a blunder by switching to airtel from mtnl as the services of airtel are very unreliable.

      Dear sir

      Subject:- complaint regarding not giving security cash back and rs 599/- plan as commited for airtel broadband internet connection. Tel no[protected] in name of mr. Krishan singla

      Sir i have inquired on just dial for airtel broad band connection.
      Mr. Nandlaal harigola contacted me and said that he will do the need full.
      Other executive from airtel named rahul also visited my residence.
      Mr. Nandlal committed that he will give handset with this connection free of cost and will refund security amount rs 1000/- in coming bills as rs 100/- in ten bills.
      He also promised to give me rs 599/- plan after two months. After finding his offer good i decided to take connection from him.
      All of these commitments can be heard in the recorded audio file.
      After installation i contacted mr. Nandlaal for the instrument but he is not attending
      My call. I had contacted area manager mr. Arun jain and what's app the audio file with complete details. Mr. Jain assured me that he will complete his employee commitment. After several mailand calls they provided me instrument. Now they are saying that i am not eligible for the cash back of security and they also don't have rs 599/- plan.
      I am very disappointed the way airtel executives are behaving. I was not aware of the fact that airtel sales team is taking cheap ways to hit the sales target. These fraud commitment will harm such a huge company.

      I want solution of this problem please help me.

        I was using my airtel sim for past 9 years and never over drafted my account. On some work i traveled out of india and not used the sim for 90 days and suddenly i got an sms saying my sim will suspended as i didn't use any outgoing call/sms in 90 days period.

        I contacted customer care and they told if i keep balance of rs 20 in account they will deduct 20 rs and account grace period will be extended for 30 days. I immediately recharged with 230 talk time and thought my sim wont be disconnect. Very next day sim was blocked for no reason then what was purpose the customer giving some suggestion and is that customer rep not having knowledge or airtel's fault?

        I read trai policy 90 days period if no outgoing sms/call/data usage the sim will be blocked but within 15days if we recharge 20 rs.In account the service provider should reactivate the same sim. Customer rep was not ready to listen to me.

        Finally, customer care guy told me to submit same proof at india and get the sim. I arranged something and asked someone to submit all proof to nearest airtel showroom and they told its not possible to do for a deactivated sim and its applicable only for blocked sim.

        Again called customer care and they told policy is there. I should go anywhere and check but they not ready to give proper response as my sim deactivated and they saying no way the call going to be useful them because my sim blocked. What kind of response??

        I never written complaint like this but i am so disappointed so someone new to airtel should never choose their service and its a wake-up call to new customers who think airtel will do best for customers.

          In delhi airtel iptv shutting down from 31st july making many users in delhi forcefully shift to dth platform. If we don't want to continue with airtel dth from iptv and new dth or other iptv cable service will result in major costs. Now if iptv is shut down then we want refund of all initial charges which will be required to be paid to a new vendor of services. Or give same plan

              Dear sir/ma'am,
              I recharged for 4g internet data after checking airtel's website about the 4g coverage in our area (Pin 125055).
              But I'm unable to use the data as the 4g network is weak. Why don't the company allows to use 4g data as 3g while it does the same for using 3g data as 2g.

              I would really appreciate if the company allows me to use my data in 3g network.

                It is really annoying that the our DSL is not working since June 22, 2016 & we have been regularly following up at the call centre everyday & at times thrice a day. BUT till today NO Concert Step has been taken. Our SR No is 69304058. Also this is a commercial connection & b'cos of the massive Down Time we are facing a lot of HARDSHIP & FINANCIAL LOSS. IF THE SAME DOES NOT GETS OPERATIONAL BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON, THEN WE WILL BE COMPELLED TO TAKE FURTHER ACTION.

                  The internet is very slow and at time there is no internet at all. At the time of writing this compliant dt: 29/06/2016 0928 pm, there is no internet. The dongle does not seem to be working at all. Airtel people called to informed that some technician will come and will resolve the issues still there are no sign of any technician coming to our house.

                  The company is cheating its customer and is charging for the services they are not providing.

                  Repeated calls has been made to the airtel customer care. No one seems to be bothered to listen to my compliant.

                  The services are hopeless.

                  I seek your intervention to resolve this issue and claiming suitable compensation from airtel.

                  I am really sick and tired of just getting compliant reference numbers with not sight of resolution of my problems.

                  Your team will just call and close the compliant number and then again a new reference number is issued what happened to my earlier complaints :

                  We are just waiting from 23rd June and still the problem is not resolved. Why these complaints are not addressed

                  why not put reminder in your system for waiver. What waiver are you referring to. Is it just Few free airtime ???

                  Treat me as your customer and not your employee or your servant.

                  So no bill payment until the matter is resolved and adequately compensated.

                  Still no sign of internet connectivity . Please note that I am not going to pay the bill for Jun-July 2016.
                  Today i received a Bill for the month of June and July and the Archana from Appellate authority called up and said i must pay this bill and then only they will cancel the services. Airtel is thinking the Subscribers / Customers as bunch of fools and Airtel is asking me to pay for the services that was never provided . Since 23rd June 2016 there is no internet and still they are generating the Invoice.

                  The most funny part is today i received the Airtel Bill and also i received an automated messaged from Airtel stating that 50% of the data has been used.

                  I did not use the internet and still their system is showing my data usage.

                  Airtel must pay for the mental agony, irreparable financial loss and compensate for the investment made in the purchase of dongle.

                  Shameless Airtel is forcing me to pay the Bill and wants to Profit out of me.

                  Definitely, there is no question of continuing with Airtel, any more with this forth grade services.

                  My complaint need to be suitable addressed

The plan was advance post paid rental plan. When the agent Mr. Devraj (devarajnt.[protected]@gmail.com) came to our home for setup on 11/04/2016, we paid Rs. 4433, which is a 3 months advance payment. We just got to know from Airtel customer care that we have not paid any bill since we bought the connection. This is a complete fraud from the agency. Now we have an outstanding payment of Rs. 8522.73 which includes pending payment and interest + fine. We also found out that they have moved from the address that was provided in the bill.

                        I have recharged for rs 179 on 20/06/2016, for Internet pack, before recharging i was checked special offer in *121#, i seen there a special offer forrs 179 1 GB 2g data + 1 GB 4g data, so i recharged, same offer seen on airtel app also, while recharging, for confirmation i also checked from retailer, and also has same offer, i got a message from you, i attaching screen shot here, but i didn't get 1 gb 4g yet, only got 1 gb 2g, i waited 1 week .. after i called to customer care, on 27/06/2016, they said there is no offer for me on 20/06/2016, it was expired.. if it expired then how i get this offer message? and special offer alert..? are you trying to fool customer?

                        i mailed to your customer support with screenshot, they are told same...there was no offer... my complaint reference id CBNRD[protected], CBNRD[protected] so i need to know whether i get remaining 1gb 4g data or not..? if not can u tell why did u cheating me for giving this fake offer..?
                        So i kindly Request you to take a positive action, otherwise we lose a trust of airtel.

                          The same thing happened to me today. Called up the airtel customer care and cancelled the service and raised a complaint. Airtel is definitely hand in glove with these service providers.b They are refusing to tell me how it got activated.

                          Does anyone know the escalation procedure in the telecom department side.

                          I am sure many people would have ignored the sms thinking it is a typical airtel advertisement and will realize it only when thier balance runs out.

                              My Airtel Dish is not working from June 19, 2016. I have raised the complaint on June 24, 2016.

                              From them i am calling them everyday, but they just say it will be done today EOD.

                              They just give me some numbers to call which eventually nobody answer.

                              I am loosing my Validate day's along with lot of mental torture.

                                I am a user of Airtel cellular services. on 16th April i had got my number([protected]) transferred from post paid to prepaid, but my services did not resume due to some issue and when i contacted the customer care i was told that i had to visit the airtel office from where i had got my number ported. But at that time i was out of station so could not get there. Here when i returned back to Ranchi i got there on 7th june and they told me that there was some problem with tele-verification and issued me a new sim card of the same cell number-[protected]. The incoming call facility did resume afterwards, but the outgoing facitilty has not yet resumed. It has been 22 day and have visited the airtel office at Hari Om tower, ranchi for numerous times during thi period. Everytime the official told me that the problem will get shortd out in the next hour or the very next day. But even after so many complaints with them it hasn't resumed yet.

                                Kindly look into the matter and help me with it.

                                    My Airtel number is [protected]. I ported into Airtel in December 2015. Airtel activated a VAS pack without my consent on my number on the 29th of February. I was paying all the bills on time in good faith. Today I called the contact center and realized that they have been overcharging me to the tune of Rs. 350/- every month for the last 4 months! On my protest they say that they can waive off the charges for the current bill but not for the previous bills as I have already made the payment. In short I am being charged for having trusted Airtel to bill me correctly. Airtel owes me Rs 350/- x 4 = Rs. 1400/- They are willing to refund only Rs. 350/- Is this fair?

                                    The plan does not mention anything about VAS. Screen shot of Airtel SMS attached.
