Hi,

I am visiting my hometown in post ogla, tehsil didihat, district pithoragarh. I have been airtel customer for a long time now. But sorry to say airtel service in remote area is horrible.
-there is no 2g, 3g coverage in this area
-signal strength is also not good
We can help airtel if they want to install the towers in this area.
Looking for a quick resolution.

      Hi all,

      I have an existing airtel fixed line and broadband service bearing account no. [protected]. I have requested to transfer my airtel service from bangalore to chennai (Ref #[protected]. I received a call from an airtel rep stating that the new address does not come under airtel service region and informed that airtel fixed line/broadband service can not be provided in the new address. I did inform the rep that i have already enquirer regarding the service availability in my new address and the local airtel rep confirmation on port/service availability in the apartment and that he will be able to provide me service within 2days if i opt for new airtel connection.

      In-spite of my information the rep went and told that they (Rep/back-end team) will not be able to help me out with the transfer of the service and informed me that i can take a new connection from the local rep i wanted airtel service and asked me if she can process the service disconnection from her end.

      I requested her to cancel the transfer request that i have raised as i will be using the service in the current address and will raise a new request to transfer the service to my parents address in bangalore.

      The airtel rep has process for service disconnection and i am now unable to use the service.

      I contacted 121 and found that my service is disconnected (Not sure on how airtel can disconnect the service with out a confirmation/information)

      121 rep informed that they will be able to reactivate the service and raised a new request reactivation (Req #[protected] and told that i will have to provide address proof/photo proof document for reactivation and the process will take 5 working days not sure why i will have to provide all the doc again and wait for 4 -5 days to get my services back if airtel had disconnected the service and this makes airtel un-trust worthy for relationship it has with its customer.

      Not sure if i will have to continue with the service provider who doesn't care for the customer request and service connectivity. As airtel is happy to let go the customer it has and the customers of airtel will have to run behind airtel the services/requests/connection availability and etc...

      I request any one from airtel to look into this issues and find a fix for this kind of issues that airtel customers are facing.

        I have asked airtel repeatedly to disconnect the land line and broadband services. They have refused my request and will not process my security deposit refund or generate a final bill.

        The airtel rep said to not pay the final bill as aired cannot refund to an international bank. This I have complied and now they are holding my account hostage.

        I first made a disconnect request may 27 and asked that they apply my security deposit towards the final bill, per the discussion I had with the airtel rep when I opened the account. This request was refused and the did not close the account.

        I did the same on June 22 and requested the account be closed June 25. They have repeatedly refused to disconnect the account and apply the refund as requested. This was the instructions I was given by the airtel representative and they are refusing those instructions. I was told that they cannot refund my deposit to an international bank.

          Airtel deduct our balance three times minimum rs60 from our main account. Airtel gift me 1gb 4g through my airtel app. When we use this 4g than airtel deduct our balance three times. Than we contact to customer care of airtel they says amount will be credited in your sim but amount will not be credited. Than we another trying to customer care and ask to return my balance. They says amount will not be credited it's yours fault.
          Plz solve our problem immediately.

            This is my 2nd complain against airtel in just 1 month. Service provider who claim to be transparent and customer focused.
            I am dealing with this case since jan 30th 2016 where in i have asked for broadband connection and made a cash payment and provided the documents. After following up for several months i have raised a fresh request for the same and this time i made a payment through cheque.
            I was following up with them for both the request. Finally i got a call from mr dhiraj that my previous cash payment will get adjusted toward my new connection request so i can cancel my cheque. I also got a confirmation email from airtel that they have received my payment and i got my connection.
            But again they have added 1000 as installation charges in my bill. So i am back to the square one. Again i have started email chain explaining the same issue again attached all the documents but same response that they get back to me in 4 days or 5 days etc etc. It has been 10 days already.

            Mr dhiraj is just vanished. Not picking up calls and not responding to emails at all. These so called customer service specialist are actually there to increase our pain nothing else. When you need them they are never available.

            I strongly recommend that go for some other service provider but not airtel. Pathetic customer service.

              Issue is pending from your end since dec 2015. You charged incorrectly and airtel billing system is faulty and always billed customer while it is not in use. I raised complain and keep sending reminder but your team closed most of the sr without customer approval.

              If you do not have any solution then please let me know the process of refund.

                  Hi, this is vishal. I have taken one airtel postpaid mobile connection on 23rd june 2016. The number allotted for me is [protected]. I bought this from sai enterprises airtel store, near chattarpur temple, new delhi. The executive told me that the sim will be activated within 24 hours at any cost. Now today is tuesday 28th june 2016. As of now the sim is not activated. I have visited airtel store more then twice and contacted the 198 customer care more than 5 times. The reply i received is that the address verification on my connection is not yet done. It is not my fault. I dont know why this much delay in airtel for address verification for a single postpaid connection. I thought of taking another postpaid connection from airtel for my mom. Now i dropped that idea. There is no meaningful reply from the airtel store and customer care also. All fake commitments that customer care is working for 24 x 7. I have not received a reply as of now. I got frustrated too much with the way they treat their customers. One customer care person is saying that address verification is not from our side they always said that ask this question from your airtel store

                        I have made rs.500 transaction on 29th may to add max hd all south top up mar-16 top up for 2 months on my dth subcription with account no.[protected]-001. But to my surprise the package has been expired with in 3 weeks on june 19th and the respective channels has been terminated. When i checked i found the airtel has added this same top up 2 times and hence the amount got charged 2 times instead of 1 time.
                        I have called airtel customer care 3 to 4 times and even send mail to [protected]@airtel.com and also to the nodal office at 'nodal. [protected]@in. Airtel.com' but no action has been taken till now.
                        Every time i call consumer call they promise a callback soon to resolve this, but to my disappointment i haven't received a single call from airtel on this so far. Attaching the screenshot on airtel online as a proof on the double charge made my airtel.

                          I have been reporting from the two months there was network disruption and i was charged for the call drops every time and i was charged for even a 1-10
                          seconds where i will not be able to talk to other person or vice-versa

                          iam having this problem form the past 4 months with the bill issues and since because of this issues i was not able to use services well and
                          requested for resolution and still waiting for it and so i didn't pay up my bill
                          from past month and now the services was disrupted and i was asked to pay full payment including late payment charges.

                          since because of the Network issues, i have not been able to use my services completely namely ( Voice calls and Data), but still i have been charged for the same.

                          Request you to check those dropped calls on my bills in months of APR-June where there was lot calls dropped below 10 seconds.

                          Since there is no proper response from the CS or the Nodal team & appellate officers, i am writing this to CCF.

                          The TRAI has been saying not to charge the customers for the call drops and i have been facing the same from the last months and with the same being billed and forcing me not to opt for other networks.

                          Now you disconnected my network service from past 15 days, i have not utilized single incoming or outgoing call and this period of network disruption has also been charged.

                          Call drop issues are frustrating. I recently shifted my home and was facing a similar problem. I was unable to use the services as there was no network coverage within my society. Every time I got a call I had to leave my home to avoid call drop. I then installed an app known as Bill Bachao. This app is basically for recharging your phone or making bill payments. However, it has a special feature that enables you to check the signal strength of any service provider in a particular area. Airtel's signal strength was extremely poor in my area as compared to Vodafone. I also read the reviews that the other users had written for Airtel and Vodafone. So I decided to switch my number to Vodafone. The procedure for number portability too is easy with this app. Its a great app and helps in lot of ways.                             My phone was on charging when i received a text message from av-omlife stating "fashion bunny service has been activated".

                            I was totally surprised as my phone number is in dnd list and i never received any information about the said service. I also never activated the service. It was activated automatically without my consent.

                            This has happened to my family members and my friends too.

                            What is going on? Why is airtel stealing money from our balance? Please help.

                            Got a call from Airtel Customer Care. CC took my complaint and understood the issue. Promised me to refund back the deducted balance and also stop the service. I received full refund of the deducted balance after a few minutes. Thank you.

                              Hello Sir,

                              Just want to escalate an issue regarding my airtel post paid number [protected]

                              This sim card just failed. It has no physical damage whatsoever. Still looks brand new. But its not registering on network. hence, I am asked to apply for a duplicate sim, which is all very difficult for me as I am very busy. It also asks for a Rs.25 payment.

                              The sim is fine, un-tampered, un-swapped.. Still looks brand new. I havent played with it to damage it.

                              So, if it fails just like that, remember, the mistake is yours, not mine. Why should I take the burden to rectify it.

                              I would like to port out my Airtel number to some other networks. Would you please give me a Unique port number, as I cannot do this from my sim right now.

                              The complaint of network drop have been resolved. But still I am facing troubles with 2G connectivity.
                              Range is full. But the speed is lower than a GPRS connection. Takes over 2 minutes to log into google home page.

                              How do you expect us to use 2G at that speed. Its as good as not having an internet connection.

                              Please let me know how do you intent to resolve this issue.

                                Hi,

                                I have sent a Portablity request to change to another network for the subject mobile numer due to high call charges. I have received a call from [protected] and they said they are calling from airtel. And they have given me a offer like, all local mobile calls will be charged 30 paise per minute and 3 months validity. I said ok and agreed to continue on airtel. But the benfit has not been added to my number. So I have call 198 and raised complaint regarding this, they said we will add the benifit to your accout within two days. And i have received a message from airtel on 22 June 2016 and they said the benifits has been credited to your account. But the call charges is still not reduced for me.
                                Am being a customer for more than 6 years and worst customer service experince ever i have ever had today while i contacted the 198 service center. They are saying like am cheating while i have all evidence.

                                  Airtel person has taken the my proofs for mnp porting from idea to airtel with special offer and after collecting the documents then they replied that they cant give the connection due to your number is in corporate number, i have taken normal individual number it is not a corporate number, they are using the proofs of the customers to activate the dels in their own and using for illegal activities, i would like to know that how many connections are lying on my name with my proofs

                                    My number is [protected] which is in the name of devi. Iam using this number for last 5 years. I hv worked in one company in the name of of skymax creation as a admin from[protected] to[protected] & i hv worked in tat company for 2 months only & resighned on[protected]. Today one girl called me from [protected] and asked tat your company numbers bill amount is not paid so i said that i have resighned my job and given my md number (Ganesh-[protected]) to contact for further details. But after 10 minutes my number is disconnected & that girl taken my call history and called to every numbers which i made & & tat girl spoken with all with unrespectful and abused words & threatened as if payment is not made police will come to ur home. All got feared & tried to contact me. I have lost my respect with all my family friends & relatives.

                                    I really dont know who is giving the rites to take my call details & call to everynumber when iam not involved in tis matter. Working in one place & resighning is coommon i think. For tat how will i responsible for company payments pending. If airtel is not making any payment, will u be responsible for tat. I want to take the action on tat girl and immedialtelyactivate my number.

                                        Incoming service has been stopped however outgoing service is continue from airtel sim card.
