If the consumer is paying a single paisa, i think he should get something.
Today i recharged my number with rs.77 for 2g internet and you people won't believe it that in rs.77 i have got just processing nothing else.. Pages are loading... Loading... Loading and loading...
Pathetic...
Shame on you airtel making fool of consumers..
3g works like 2g and 2g works like 0g

    I was surfing a news portal when all of a sudden a screen popped up showing asking me click on the screen if I want to subscribe the service of House of Models. I deleted the tab the very moment but I was charged Rs 35 and my balance got deducted. When I got in touch with the Customer service they denied me the refundable amount. On being said repeatedly that I didn't click on the activation button they kept saying the same. I just want my balance back.

      I'm Levin Joseph, from Tamil Nadu. I've been an Airtel customer for more than 5 years. I loved the call quality a lot. But recently I've been experiencing so many problems. Call rates have been increased. Mobile Data rates have been increased. That's not a problem. Today I recharged for ₹197 3G data. This will credit 600mb to my number. I just switched on my mobile data and within 5 mins 120mb got used up. Can you please explain why the hell is this happening? This has been going on for a few months especially from the beginning of this year. I even switched off the mobile for all the apps excluding WhatsApp and Boom Beach (a game). Then also I get a notification that 127mb got used up. Now I'm typo. This complaint from my mobile and God only knows how much data got used up. I'm planning to switch to Vodafone for a while now. But before that I just need to know why Airtel is being useless these days. Very disappointing. I tried to contact the customer service but all I get is computer voiced BS. Is there any way to contact and speak to a customer care agent? I hope so.

      Please check this problem ASAP. If there's no reply even after this complaint, then I'll start recommending people to stop using Airtel.

      This is a latest deduction now. I switched off my mobile data and then this showed up. Screw you Airtel! I'm gonna switch to Vodafone

        My name is Debasree Bhattacharjee, Mobile No. - [protected]. Kindly note, on June 1, I had recharged with an amount of Rs 70 (top-up) and further Rs 50 (top-up) on the same day. I saw an amount of Rs 101 talktime at evening on my mobile. Yesterday in the morning I saw my main balance came down to 0 (zero). I am sure I did not make so many calls or add any package (for data use I have a data plan activated) so that such an hefty amount will be deducted from my account. I called the customer care service for assistance. I was told there is a video store or something of the sort activated on my mobile. I checked it via my airtel - that was true - I deactivated the same immediately.

        But I didnot add such a package, and no one uses my mobile other than me. Moreover what is this video store? - I dont have any idea - what are its charges. if only the officials could check my mobile activity, they would surely find I didnot spend a single second even exploring what it is - if not, then why on earth would I activate such a pack for myself?

        I feel cheated and Airtel as I have come to know is doing all these sort of things and we are in a soup. An amount of Rs 100/- may be nothing for many, but I find it difficult to make any more expenses on this number.

        I have heard this forum is effective enough and helps a lot - hope i will get help too.

        May I please request at least refunding the amount that has been deducted, the amount has been unethically deducted. Or at least let me know, how to approach the Consumer forum. I am located in Kolkata.

        Awaiting a response, and expecting refund from Airtel - that is if they do a honest job!!!

          My dongle connection no [protected].
          I had asked to stop connection 3 months back and send me the final bill for payment. However, they are generating bills for every month for which I have not used dongle for and sending bills as total. I am ready to pay only for what I have used and not for the month for which I have not used. While giving connection people come to your place but while disconnecting they want us to go to outlet which is not possible for me. If they do correct billing for usage and send me the confirmation on that Mount and cancellation of my connection I will pay the bill. It is really irritating when Nortel keeps calling for money but no one is ready to help me with this matter

            I have been using Airtel network for more than 10 years. After looking at the over exaggerated advertisements in the TV channels, I decided to recharge my mobile with 4G data connection. It's been 2 weeks since I did a 4G recharge but still I did not get 4G signal even a single time on my mobile. Amazing thing is, I don't even get a proper 3G signal on my mobile phone. When I initially complained on the same to the customer care, they said they will take this to the technical team and resolve the issue. My complaint was taken on 23 May 2016 (Ref. No. C3GDC[protected]) and on the same day I received an SMS stating "Network settings for your airtel mobile have been rest for an enhanced data experience". I waited for 2 days and nothing happened. The signal status was the same.

            I called the customer care again for the second time and gave the same complaint saying I still don't get 3G or 4G signals. My complaint was taken again (Reg. No. CGPSC[protected]) but this time they told me to change some network settings on my mobile which is to change the network data mode from LTE/WCDMA/GSM to WCDMA/GSM. I changed my settings and waited for 2 days again no use. Still my network signal remained the same.

            I called the customer care again for the third time and gave the same complaint. This time they escalated the issue to the Senior technical team and one of the officer called Sharanya spoke to me regarding the issue. She told me to change the network mode settings and I said I already did it. She told me to wait on the line and finally she said for your area, the signal strength is lesser and you will get only limited signal. I asked her "then why are you selling 4G data pack for my area when there's not even proper 3G signal and I'm wasting my money on 4G data packs" and I was amazed to get such an answer from her which was "If you don't get proper signal in 4G or 3G, please use 2G data packs. Why do you waste your money on 4G". "You may need to wait until the network speed is increased" She said.

            Apart from the thing that I'm using Airtel for past 10 yrs, I have my Airtel 3G data card and 4 more connections in my home which are also Airtel. Frustration on one side is I don't get proper network signals and on the other side it's about the response from the customer care officers. I recharge for a 4G pack and I only get 0.1Mbps of speed which is totally frustrating.

            First thing, please stop your over exaggerated 4G advertisements. When there's no 4G signal in my area. Second thing, train your customer care officers to talk professionally and address the issues of the consumers.

            I have provided all the reference numbers of my complaints above. I would request the concerned authorities to take proper action on the same.

              Sir I have Air tel pre-paid mobile no [protected]. It is about 14 yrs old no. I sim is to be replace. But the your airtel Bareilly center demand old ID. I have shifted my residence. No copy of such old ID is available with me. This is the duty of company to update the record of costumer time to time. Instead they demand the old ID. There is no way except to port to any other company. This is problem of many others also. I am sending copy of this complain to TRAI also.

                  I made a mistake of merging my account id [protected] and [protected] which turns out to be a nightmare for me first they disconnected my first id without swapping its card for the new id so i couldn't be able to watch that tv for all the while and getting through their customer care is not again a easy job after long holds untrained and naive people will greet you who instead of supporting your will make silly mistakes to put you in dreadful hassles as in my case after getting the id activated i find out that a unauthorised activation of rs 1465/- pack has been made on my account sending my balance in negative now even after my several telephonic and email communications upto the nodal level but no one is willing to support and come up with a solution by taking back the unauthorised pack and reversing the deducted amount. So my advice to stay away from airtel if you want trouble free experience and to safe guard your hard earned mone.

                    I reachared my airtel DTH for Rs 2121 as per offer message which I received. After successful recharge I got a message of offer not processed. I called customer service and they said like my plan has to recharged for remaining balance of Rs 2490 to activate the same plan. Then again I recharged for the same and again I got the plan not processed message. Then called customer service again and after explaining everything they made me wait in call for around 20 mins and replied like again I have to pay Rs 2000 and the total amount is around 6000. Then why did I get offer message as Rs 2121.The man to whom I spoke with in customer service number din give me proper response or any other suggestions what can be done.He is not bothered even if we discontinue Airtel DTH. He took around 40 mins and no suggestions were given by him.

                      I have been complaining for my Airtel TV to the Airtel customer care since past 5 days as it is not receiving any signal. Every time I call customer care, they assure me that it will be fixed within 24 hours. They also give me contact number of the Engineer but nobody answers the call and nobody comes for fixing the fault.

                      Also, they are deducting 14 rupees daily from my account with out any service.
                      My latest complaint number is 52136388.

                      Looking towards a speedy resolution.

                      Although i have got he signal back but I have still not received the refund for 5 days that my Airtel dish was not working. I have been promised numerous times by customer care that balance ( INR 14/day) will be added to my account but as expected, no amount has been refunded as yet.

                      Looking towards a speedy resolution.

                        This is highly shameful about airtel that airtel appellate authority cannot reach its own airtel network mobile [protected].

                        I reside in sector 23 Gurgaon, which is near to leading corporates in udyog Bihar Gurgaon which is just one(1) kms away,

                        But if you ask airtel network providers to audit, I can show that network is extremely poor here.

                        Therefore I have to use SMS mainly to communicate as calls drop or are not clear.

                        Now, coming on to SMS discrepancy, I just did around 20 SMS after regarding with 450 SMS worth 42..why r my SMS balance showing as 332.

                        Why is airtel cheating on SMS and network.

                          Sir my landline number is [protected]. My contact number is [protected]. I have raised a complaint on 27th of may month regarding the airtel broadband im using. The speed i have ia 8 mbps and the download speed is very slow. I have raised complaint on 27th may 2016. They called me on 28th may and said that there is a problem in fixed line so they will clear (They lied to me saying this) and without my knowledge & confirmation they closed the complaint. And i have even request to upgrade to 16mbps but still they dint. Please do take action over the person who closed the complaint with solving the complaint. Airtel broadband is worst and poor customer service provider.

                            Almost making a single complain lots of time, there would be no responce not from the customer care and even not from the airtel appellate authority, each and every time they charge me a high value o[censored]sage bill, but according to my plan it would be of it's minimum value.
                            I almost complain so many times but always a same reply from everyone, as the person representing airtel thought there system are upto date and i(customer) is wrong.

                                I am having an Airtel connection since past 1 year or more and many times i had complaint to Airtel customer care regarding the same but each time i just receive a reply that a technician will visit the premise and resolve it. But not even once did the technician visited nor the issue has been resolved. When i complain to them they said that I have update the problem is resolved. they are doing fake adds that every where network is available and my house is at the centre of Kanpur in civil lines are and still there is no network. I would like to lodge a case over them firstly for not resolving network issues, secondly for making fake ads and thirdly for charging bills when even network issue is there. Please help me out. Please don't suggest to port the number as if that is the solution I would like to recover all the money which i had paid for their bills.

                                  this is to bring to your notice the harassment I went through after being customer with air tel for almost 5 years.
                                  I have two mobile connection [protected] and [protected].
                                  However I decided for mobile no. portability for my later number [protected] for which I get NOC after making the required payment.
                                  just after getting NOC and after activation of my no. With other service provider I got an sms to pay dues of the later for which I got NOC to my other no. [protected].
                                  I made the payment on may 31, 2016 where the receipt no. was[protected] and was told that same no. will be activated within 4 hours as other than incoming all services have been stopped. I am following up from pole to pillar but to no solution till now in this era of customer centric market where services are the key to business.
                                  also I fail to understand once NOCwas issued how come the payment was due even after questioning the staff at air tel office no one gave me a satisfactory answer till now. As a common man to avoid any delay in my bbusiness I made the payment but no action has been taken.
                                  making me feel an exhausted cheated as a customer on almost all fronts.
                                  hope it give u service parameters feedback in the service driven industry in todays time.

                                      I'm an airtel users since many years, i have a complaint about data lost in my airtel mobile number, which is recharged on 19th may for ₹ 299. The plan says will get minimum of 1.2gb of 3g data, and may get upto 10gb. However i got 5gb data. After few days o[censored]sing the data lost completely on 31st may, on that day i tried to add few numbers in airtel's 'family share' option using 'my airtel' app. (It is an option to share the data to other airtel numbers, and works only in 3g plans). When i tried to add 2 numbers in 'family share' option, suddenly i got disconnected from internet, remember i have about 3.7 gb data remains on that day till night 10 pm. I tried to contact customer care, they also says you are used some less data using your number, someone else used your remaining data, but thete is no chance to use other 2 mobile numbers i given because i couldn't completed the option and i'm sure they're not used the shared datas, because one of them were using wifi, and other number were switched off. And there is not any chance for using the 3.7gb of data in seconds. I argued them with these points, they told they are don't know about it. So i requesting you to give a possible solution for this.

                                        Hello Airtel Team,

                                        Once again I am reminded you guys don't pay any attention/respect to prepaid customers.

                                        My Name is Sekar. I have been using your network for more than 10 years now through the prepaid number [protected] (Hope you understand my value being 10 years as a customer). I got an appointment to travel abroad for 4 months and took my number along with me.

                                        On 4th May, I got a message from Airtel that my number has not been used for 3 months and gonna be blocked. I was shocked and started to use the number from abroad since the time the message arrived, however my number has been blocked next day.

                                        I contacted customer care to get my number back and they asked me to reach out to Airtel Relationship centers for the help. So I asked my Son Dhandapani to check this and he went on 11th May to Airtel Branch @ Santhome. Based on words from people in that center, he gave identity proofs and photos of mine to enable the number and he was given a new sim card and told the number will be activated in 10 days.

                                        The number is not activated after 10 days and he again went to showroom on 20 May to check the status. A person called Lenin in the center told him that he gonna submit the form and it will be activated in 2 days. So he returned back.

                                        On '1st May 2016', he went to showroom once again to check the status. He was told by Peter and the Manager of that showroom that the number was given to some other customer on 18th itself and they cannot get it back. I was shocked to hear the words of them as they made me walk 3 times (2 hours in showroom everytime) and grabbed all by proofs and gave me a promise again on '20th May 2016' whereas the number was provisioned to different customer on 18th itself.

                                        They don't even have No Direct number for them to reach, see how they respect people. I have been watching the support people there playing all the time I was there and not paying proper attention to people. Worst ever I have seen in any customer centers.

                                        Please let me know I have any chance again to get my number back and I am even ready to approach this legally through court.
