I am residing at railway officers flat, cannaught place, new delhi having phone number [protected]. I am facing call drop issue since 4-5 months. I am complaining regarding this since then only but till now no action has been taken and no improvement in service is there. I spoke to mr. Harjot singh with interaction id[protected]. He also spoke very bluntly regarding this and said he cant tell me when the problem will be resolved and all. I want to know what all actions are taken and what is the expected time till which call drop issues in area will be resolved. Kindly tell me the whole thing. This time i want proper resolution otherwise i will be forced to file a complaint in consumer court regarding this and will be forced to file a rti also.
Kindly look to it and solve this and reply back to me with proper resolution and what piece of work you are doing to solve call drop issue in the area.

I want a proper resolution this time. May i know when how will you connect to address my concern ? Otherwise i wl forced to lodge a written complain to consumer court and will file a RTI regarding network improvement work and resolution time period.

    I was a user of airtel and i requested to deactivate my account on mar14. On same march 14, i also paid my previous outstanding amount.
    Outstanding was 1788
    I paid them 800.
    1788-800=988

    Sales people said me you can deactivate a/c by requesting a letter. After requesting, with 7 days a/c will be deactivated.

    I gave them a request letter to deactivate my a/c.

    But till date (June 4), they haven't deactivated it.

    Currently they called me and saying you have 988 + (2months april, may bill).

    I should pay only 988rs.

      Hello, i have paid the amount ₹1145 to airtel sales person on april 29 2016 for airtel broadband connection. As the broad band service was not feasible in my area for broadband connection and my connection was cancelled on may 5 2016. I requested them to refund my amount. I have already submitted my bank detail 20 days ago but still i am waiting for my refund.

      please refund my money as soon as possible, i have paid money 40 days ago. NEFT payments take 1 day to transfer . i have already submitted my bank detail 20 days ago . Why is it takes long time to refund? Paytm, Flipkart refund money in 2 or 3 working days.

        I have been calling Airtel dth customer care for a technician since 2june 2016 to check my set top box as there is no signal, its been 3 days and there is no technician, i have spoken to customer service supervisors as well who assures me everyday that there will be a technician coming...worst customer service i hv come across, till now query is not resolved.             I am a user of airtel 4g hotspot. During the time of connection airtel executive told that the entire cost of the hotspot will bee refunded through cashback in 9 installment. I was really surprised when i received my first bill. There was no mention about the cash back. I also tried following up with the executive but no response from him. I have even mailed airtel people and again no response.

              This is to inform you that i kartik kumar took an airtel broadband
              Connection and submitted the documents and payment for the same. But
              I was informed that in my area there is no airtel feasibility.
              My contact number is [protected].
              Since there is no feasibility so i requested the refund on 25th may 2016. I gave them what ever documents they asked. But they are not refunding the money and just delaying the whole process.
              I just want the money to be refunded back in my account.

                On may, 14th i place an order for airtel dth - hd with one month free subscriptions on your website for rs. 1490/-. I paid for this product by my debit card. I received a confirmation of my order via sms and after one week i have received order number is : 14457852.

                Now i am trying to contact your online marketing agency "compare dth" and as well as your customer care through e-mail, telephonically, and also booked online complaint on your web based complaint system till date waiting for satisfactory response from your side and your booking agency.

                Till date ie. 03rd june, 2016 position is same as from 14th may, 2015, its no a short period for installation of connection.

                Further i inform in your kind notice that if an agency acts within the scope of his/her authority, a principal is bound by the act of his/her agent[i]. Moreover, a party is responsible for any action or inaction by the party or the party’s agent[ii]. The liability of the principal to a third person upon a transaction conducted by an agent.

                May pls. Solved the said issue on priority basis without any legal litigation.

                  I have been billed extra as while taking connection i was confirmed that if i pay 6 month advance rental of 6835/- inclisive of tax i will get the device free and will get unlimited connection upto 10 gb after that speed will redused to 128kbs which will be free

                    I'm complaining about network issue near panathur and outer ring road.. We are facing airtel network problem past 2-3 years... Panathur area is very close to many tech parks and overall 1000 apartments are there.. Still the service is very pathetic and looks like company is not worried about the issue.
                    Please look into this take some action and provide the service in this area.

                      1. Complaint: airtel cheating public
                      2. Product: wifi net + landline
                      3. Cost: 1150+600 = 1750/- per connection
                      4. Value of complaint: 3500/- (2 connections)
                      5. Executive (Airtel): mr. Ravi ([protected])
                      6. Location: splendid towers, begumpet, hyderabad (Telangana)
                      7. Caf: hyd329366 & hyd323385
                      8. Description:
                      • on 31st may, paid rs.3500/- to ravi, for 2 connections (1 each at home & office).
                      • airtel executive, ravi promised= d-link wifi router 150 and beetel phoneset will be installed by 1st june, evening, or max by 2nd june morning.
                      • as ravi convinced us for the deal, we also disconnected, & minimized other connections at home and office as well.
                      • we called till 2nd afternoon, nothing happened. Then evening, airtel technician gave only landline connection (No phone set yet), and gave some cheap chinese tenda wifi router, which was a faulty & repaired piece. We objected, then ravi said, get installed, i will change tomorrow morning with what was promised. We agreed.

                      • now till today, we called some 50-60 times, from our and other phones, ravi is avoiding and giving excuses, not picking our calls.

                      • we scolded and asked him to refund our money, we don’t need any airtel connections.

                      Now, when we try using complaint to customer care, 121, it says “incorrect number” & “incorrect account number”. Can’t even talk to customer care.

                      Someone, please show us the way. We are in big trouble, and suffered loss of money, time and energy…..

                      2nd connection: CAF # HYD323385 (as A/c # not given).

                      I have already contacted the Customer Care, Begumpet. And they informed as below:

                      1. "The sales executive belongs to 3rd party agency of Airtel.
                      Even that agency manager and executive wasn't responding your customer care calls."

                      Me: (Why the hell Airtel appoint such irresponsible agencies, sales executives)

                      2. "Airtel can't provide me, D-Link router, as promised, & neither refund the amount. Even the customer care executive Me know about the unknown TENDA router given to me. And later to defend Airtel, said that it's a good reputed brand."

                      Me: (I requested for cancellation and refund, to which Customer care person denied. If Airtel can't provide the service, why the hell do you commit.)

                      3. "Airtel having technical issues in Me area, causing delay in providing the required services. No commitment, when it will be solved."

                      (Airtel using such cheap devices, and disappointing services, which isn't expected from such a reputed brand AIRTEL.)


                      However, have some hope, as the extremely good CRO- "Mr. Yuva Raj", at Splendid Towers, Begumpet... assured of positive solution, very soon. He was very patient and understood my problem.

                      As informed, i shall receive a call from the Customer Care Manager, and looking forward to quick resolution of this issue.

                      And in-case, nothing is done by Monday evening, will escalate the matter.

                        Pathetic services, plenty of call drops, network issues, no connectivity in heart of bangalore.

                        Completely pissed off with their worst services, rude and harassing behave by customer care, careless attitude by appellate and nodal officers.
                        No respite even after hundreds of complaints lodged.
                        They are bluntly refusing to provide services and adamantly generating bills, served me with exorbitant high incorrect bills on data usage, without actual usage and later forced me to pay.

                        Now they are discontinuing the services and threatening.
                        Shame on you airtel. Please give me your senior executives contact numbers and i will let them make aware of the pain of the dying mobile services and money sucking attitude.

                              I was surfing a news portal when all of a sudden a screen popped up showing asking me click on the screen if I want to subscribe the service of House of Models. I deleted the tab the very moment but I was charged Rs 35 and my balance got deducted. When I got in touch with the Customer service they denied me the refundable amount. On being said repeatedly that I didn't click on the activation button they kept saying the same. I just want my balance back.

                                I'm Levin Joseph, from Tamil Nadu. I've been an Airtel customer for more than 5 years. I loved the call quality a lot. But recently I've been experiencing so many problems. Call rates have been increased. Mobile Data rates have been increased. That's not a problem. Today I recharged for ₹197 3G data. This will credit 600mb to my number. I just switched on my mobile data and within 5 mins 120mb got used up. Can you please explain why the hell is this happening? This has been going on for a few months especially from the beginning of this year. I even switched off the mobile for all the apps excluding WhatsApp and Boom Beach (a game). Then also I get a notification that 127mb got used up. Now I'm typo. This complaint from my mobile and God only knows how much data got used up. I'm planning to switch to Vodafone for a while now. But before that I just need to know why Airtel is being useless these days. Very disappointing. I tried to contact the customer service but all I get is computer voiced BS. Is there any way to contact and speak to a customer care agent? I hope so.

                                Please check this problem ASAP. If there's no reply even after this complaint, then I'll start recommending people to stop using Airtel.

                                  My name is Debasree Bhattacharjee, Mobile No. - [protected]. Kindly note, on June 1, I had recharged with an amount of Rs 70 (top-up) and further Rs 50 (top-up) on the same day. I saw an amount of Rs 101 talktime at evening on my mobile. Yesterday in the morning I saw my main balance came down to 0 (zero). I am sure I did not make so many calls or add any package (for data use I have a data plan activated) so that such an hefty amount will be deducted from my account. I called the customer care service for assistance. I was told there is a video store or something of the sort activated on my mobile. I checked it via my airtel - that was true - I deactivated the same immediately.

                                  But I didnot add such a package, and no one uses my mobile other than me. Moreover what is this video store? - I dont have any idea - what are its charges. if only the officials could check my mobile activity, they would surely find I didnot spend a single second even exploring what it is - if not, then why on earth would I activate such a pack for myself?

                                  I feel cheated and Airtel as I have come to know is doing all these sort of things and we are in a soup. An amount of Rs 100/- may be nothing for many, but I find it difficult to make any more expenses on this number.

                                  I have heard this forum is effective enough and helps a lot - hope i will get help too.

                                  May I please request at least refunding the amount that has been deducted, the amount has been unethically deducted. Or at least let me know, how to approach the Consumer forum. I am located in Kolkata.

                                  Awaiting a response, and expecting refund from Airtel - that is if they do a honest job!!!

                                    I had asked to stop connection 3 months back and send me the final bill for payment. However, they are generating bills for every month for which I have not used dongle for and sending bills as total. I am ready to pay only for what I have used and not for the month for which I have not used. While giving connection people come to your place but while disconnecting they want us to go to outlet which is not possible for me. If they do correct billing for usage and send me the confirmation on that Mount and cancellation of my connection I will pay the bill. It is really irritating when Nortel keeps calling for money but no one is ready to help me with this matter

                                      I have been using Airtel network for more than 10 years. After looking at the over exaggerated advertisements in the TV channels, I decided to recharge my mobile with 4G data connection. It's been 2 weeks since I did a 4G recharge but still I did not get 4G signal even a single time on my mobile. Amazing thing is, I don't even get a proper 3G signal on my mobile phone. When I initially complained on the same to the customer care, they said they will take this to the technical team and resolve the issue. My complaint was taken on 23 May 2016 (Ref. No. C3GDC[protected]) and on the same day I received an SMS stating "Network settings for your airtel mobile have been rest for an enhanced data experience". I waited for 2 days and nothing happened. The signal status was the same.

                                      I called the customer care again for the second time and gave the same complaint saying I still don't get 3G or 4G signals. My complaint was taken again (Reg. No. CGPSC[protected]) but this time they told me to change some network settings on my mobile which is to change the network data mode from LTE/WCDMA/GSM to WCDMA/GSM. I changed my settings and waited for 2 days again no use. Still my network signal remained the same.

                                      I called the customer care again for the third time and gave the same complaint. This time they escalated the issue to the Senior technical team and one of the officer called Sharanya spoke to me regarding the issue. She told me to change the network mode settings and I said I already did it. She told me to wait on the line and finally she said for your area, the signal strength is lesser and you will get only limited signal. I asked her "then why are you selling 4G data pack for my area when there's not even proper 3G signal and I'm wasting my money on 4G data packs" and I was amazed to get such an answer from her which was "If you don't get proper signal in 4G or 3G, please use 2G data packs. Why do you waste your money on 4G". "You may need to wait until the network speed is increased" She said.

                                      Apart from the thing that I'm using Airtel for past 10 yrs, I have my Airtel 3G data card and 4 more connections in my home which are also Airtel. Frustration on one side is I don't get proper network signals and on the other side it's about the response from the customer care officers. I recharge for a 4G pack and I only get 0.1Mbps of speed which is totally frustrating.

                                      First thing, please stop your over exaggerated 4G advertisements. When there's no 4G signal in my area. Second thing, train your customer care officers to talk professionally and address the issues of the consumers.

                                      I have provided all the reference numbers of my complaints above. I would request the concerned authorities to take proper action on the same.

I have shifted my residence. No copy of such old ID is available with me. This is the duty of company to update the record of costumer time to time. Instead they demand the old ID.
