I really appreciate your quick response. You said that you did not receive request for tele verification for this number so you disconnected the number. It is not my mistake that you did not receive the request for televerification, you better check with your concerned department. I personally have been waiting since last 2 months.. No one has called us or emailed us regarding televerification. So how i am to be held responsible for all this. Its your concerned department who has not done its job and i am being penalised for your mistake. I really appreciate your advise of applying for new connection. Let me tell you this if i needed a new number i wont have wasted my valuable time and resources in sending email across to you. I would have visited any mobile store and applied for new connection. I want my old number to be reinstated. You may not be aware that it is a 10 year old number and my banks, my child's school, office my lpg connection every body has this number to contact me. I am feeling helpless right now as no one is able to contact me. As i told you in my last email that i had visited your wanowrie store (Pune) numerous times and they told me to submit my documents to activate my old number and i have already submitted all those documents which you have listed in your email.
Thank you for your email like all other airtel people i spoke to you also have not provided any solution to my problem

This is in reference to your email regarding activation status of your new airtel mobile number [protected].
I understand your concern regarding new sim not yet activated. The new sim has to be done televerification with in 30 days. We did not receive tele verification from the above number hence the number is cancelled.
However if you want the new sim connection please follow below procedure
As mandated by department of telecommunication, to purchase a mobile connection you will need to submit the below stated documents along with the subscriber enrolment form. It is important that the proof of address and proof of identity are verified by you in person. Kindly keep the documents handy.
1. Proof of identity.
2. Proof of address.
3. One latest passport size photograph
4. Photocopy of pan card, else form 60 to be filled.
You can opt from the bill plan of your choice from the exclusive bill plans. Enclosed is the list of bill plans along with the detailed list of acceptable documents.
Request to make a note of the following:
1. You will be required to pay an activation fee of rs. 300/-
2. Once network is enabled, tele verification needs to be completed by dialing 59059.
3. You could opt for a data pack along with your bill plan to avail discounted data tariff.In case you do not take any pack, volume based charging would be applicable at 8 p/10kb for 2g and 3 p/10 kb for 3g.
4.In case you are opt for a vanity number there would additional charges applicable for the same.
The activation process will be completed in 24hrs.
