I raised a simple service request to Airtel customer support to activate Centrex service on my landline number.

After sending mail, I got first response afte 2 days that they will get back to me in 72 hrs. Now its been 4 days, I did not get any response from them.
When I call their customer care (and after 6 min on being on hold), no one have any clue about what is the status.

It is very frustrating being Airtel customer... Worst customer service.

    I have recently port my number from idea to airtel but airtel having network problem in parkash avenue, near nirranjan nagar area. As this is posh area adjoint to shalimar garden of the city bit there is no full towers network at residence. The voice calling is always found interrupted.
    I am also using my 4g data card but having same problem too.
    For calling and $g net we have to come on outside.

    Pls. Look into the matter else i have to again port my family numbers back to idea.

      Hi,

      Worst of its kind of service, i have been witnessing from airtel digital tv team. Neither the customer support nor the local tsm feel responsible about the set top box complaint.

      Poor quality and under-trained or rather untrained technician visit my home just to discover the faulty set box and leave saying somebody from the team would come and resolve the issue.

      Even the escalation department turns to be useless from customer support.

      This is a scenario from hyderabad, manikonda area. I am fed up spending hours together to call up customer care and explaining them the whole story each time.

      Cheap tricks to deduct money from customer account though they do not enjoy the services of airtel.

      Any solution for this.

      Hi,
      Thanks for the concern. To my surprise, I get a call from the XYZ saying it was from nodal officers office. The technician comes and does a mediocre job. Replaced the set top box but in a couple of hours, the matter comes to normal.

      No signal, no picture, set top box glows yellow and red, I do not know a mix of colors.

      I am fed up with the Airtel services. Somebody please help me out of this!!! :(

      A big ZERO to Airtel services.

        The complaint is about airtel india as while registering they do not validate if given mail id is of respective customer or not and once registered they keep sending different mails on that mail id.

        Same has happened with me i. E. I am receiving mails from airtel (For reference: broadband connection dsl#[protected]_dsl & fixed line connection fixedline# [protected]) for "password reset", "ebill registration", "service activation/deactivation" and "high speed data usage".

        To be very clear i don't own the mentioned airtel fixed line and broadband connections.In fact i am not an airtel customer by any means and while communicating i have every time clearly mentioned that i am not their customer and i am not the intended person they are looking for.

        I have mailed this concern to their customer care mail id "[protected]@in. Airtel.com". Mails are acknowledged and i have received response from them saying...

        "we regret the inconvenience you have experienced. We have made the necessary changes in our system to ensure that the issue does not recur. Please do let us know if you experience any such issues in future."

        But actually no action has been taken and i receive similar mails from airtel after their response. I have written 2-3 times to airtel about this issue.

        I request to please ask airtel to take action to resolve this issue and stop bothering me.

        I believe I had clearly mentioned that I am not an AirTel customer and someone has misused my email ID, but after reading response from airtel, it seems they didn't even bothered about reading the complaint itself. It's not my concern what email ID/mobile# you need to put their, my concern is very clear as THIS AIRTEL DOESNPT BELONG TO ME, JUST DISASSOCIATE MY EMAIL ID FROM THIS ACCOUNT. Please do act if it's not done yet. Thanks.

          Hello sir, our land lines not working properly since 6 days for every call in between its getting out of order when we are talking in a call, airtel people are misguiding by telling that this is not our problem ...not taken any action yet...not expected this type of service from airtel...our's is a office how we work when land lines are not working..i hope atleast severe action will be taken now...solve the problem...

            Can you please reverese the recharge of the transaction id[protected]. I have been asked for recharge of the number [protected] and was told it from up for the sending of medicine, but as soon as money was being transfered the account went offline and i came to know that i have been cheated.
            O if the system could and possible please reverse the recharge.

            Also would be happy even if the amount is not made available to me.

              I've recharged for rs 149 by airtel mobile app on 18 april 2016. The amount was deducted from my bank account. Also it has shown a success message. But the offer was not activated or money is not reverted back. I've tired of contacting airtel customer care. They are giving least importance for these kind of issues. I've contacted the customer care, nodal officers, apellate atleast 70 -80 times. No solutions yet.

                My name is Sourav Anand and my number is [protected].Recently I Purchased an airtel postpaid sim on 1st week of april from kharadi airtel outlet opposite reliance fresh but soon I realized that the company added a charge of 1000 + taxes on my number. This 1000 + taxes is for mifi device which neither do I purchase or did I ordered. I have been complaining repeatedly time and over again, they agree that its their fault but they have been turning deaf ear to ward off the charges. (I have recorder conversations that customer care agrees that its their fault) Recently they have blocked my number for outgoing calls and I have suffered quite a loss for this purpose.
                Now they ask me to pay a sum total of 1000+tax or they wont start my number. I have been trying very hard to explain but they fail to understand, most of the time they hung up the phone telling that they are putting the call for hold for a minute. This has been affecting my work and social life greatly and even after repeatedly begging them to take some action, they fail to do so.
                This consumer complain is my last option as I dont know what to do next as i am stuck with this major problem. I wont be bothering consumer care, if this matter was small or insignificant.
                I hope you bring me to justice and help me as soon as possible.

                  Hi, i sarvesh r dudhankar, using an airtel mobile number [protected], wanted to migrate from postpaid to prepaid, so i visited an airtel shop in santacruz west, opp vijay sales on sunday i. E 15th may 2016, gave all the required documents, photographs, paid all the due amount till date, got the new sim cards and was told it'll be done in 48 hours.

                  Today even after 1 week still my number is in postpaid (Not changed to prepaid) despite of me calling their complaint helpline 198 again and again.. All they say is "we have raised a new complaint, it will take more 48 hours"

                  Today again when i called their compaint helpline 198 again, that was the same thing told to me, i spoke to some 'floor supervisor'. I also told him if it won't happen by the end of day, i will write up a complaint against airtel, he just said "ok"

                  This is how pathetic service airtel provides!!!


                  All i wanted to do was to change a number type from postpaid to prepaid, but just for this it is taking airtel forever!!!

                    Airtel executives took Rs 2000 from me on 3 May 2016 for, since then I have been chasing them to setup the connection, they never turned up. Then I asked them to return my money as I couldn't wait more and got another connection, now I am chasing them to return my money. Every day their executives Mr. Ashish Dubey and Mr. Prakash Tiwari tell me it will be done next day and now they have stopped receiving my calls. I filed a complain with Airtel on 21 May 2016, they said the complaint will be resolved in 2 hours. No one reached out to me till now and the status of the complain now shows up as "closed" on their website. Reference number of complain is LB[protected].

                      I have recharge my airtel data card bearing no.[protected] on 20/05/2016 15:29hr with rs. 1095 which promise to get 3g/4g 5gb for day and 3g/4g 5gb for night (10gb together). Just after recharge was done i got the said data but used for about 1hr, it is found that there was no data plan in my no. I have complain to the customer care no.121 for more then 7times. They are not listening properly instead for sake of checking and transfering call they hang up my call. After many hard attempt they agreed that yes you didn't get data for day. But the next day they i got a message saying that the complaint was resolved. I was not aware as this was not on mobile but in data card, the following day i, e. 22/05/2016 i complian again, but they refused to agree that data was not available. It was availed and already exhausted which i didnt use in real. Yes i may used maximum of about 1gb. Now customer care representative are deaf, no one is listening to my complain. So i am seeking help from related authorities to resolve the issues.. It is not only about this case but this happen to many also and if we ignore now and then, they will run their bussiness in this way ignoring consumers complain and sucking customers wealth illegally...

                        What the is wrong with the service providers in mysore. Whom should we complain regarding the irresponsible behaviour of your service providers... Is this the way you serve your customers. I have complained about the problem 1 week back to the fellow airtel service provider.. He is not at all responding and not at all attending our calls... What should we do now... I need to send an urgent mail to us..Inspite of having wifi in my home.. I went to an internet shop to send my mail... I don't like this behevaiour on your service providers... Please get my problem solved as soon as possible...

                          Hello,
                          I have been complaining to airtel broadband service since 2 months regarding bad internet. Since a week, my modem has stopped working. I complained on 17th may and they assured me that everything will be resolved within 24 hours. After 96 hours, i called their nodal officer and he said i had 2 options, either to buy a modem outside (Which costs 1400 rs) for which they would refund 500 or that they would replace a modem within 48 hours. Who in their right mind would incur a loss of 1000 rs and take the first option?
                          Today after 6 days, a service engineer came and concluded modem is not working but does not have the authority to replace it. I called customer service regarding the same and he says they committed saying i would buy the modem and they would only refund 500 rs. Despite their first commitment being replacement of the modem within 24 hours.
                          Please sir, do the needful. I have been facing troubles since 2 months.

                            I have taken two post paid cug sim card [protected] and [protected] as the bill for both the sim is combining more then usage. So i disconnected [protected] and ported to idea network after paying the pending amount of then only it got ported and i was using the idea service for 3 to 4 months. My credit card got activated which was connected to postpaid connection with airtel for pre bill payments. After 4 months as i was using the idea service they have deducted the 397 rs from credit card. And now they are telling that it was pending so we detected. And for 4 month there was no intentimation about pending payment. And the same thing is happenined for [protected] bill was given 842. After discussion with executive it comes down to 560 rs. So please help me regarding this.

                                Case history:

                                249 rs was debited from my account without my consent on 9th april, when i complained airtel dth executive, same was credited back to my account however to my shock 249 was again debited on 21 april, i am moving to consumer court to file legal case on airtel dth for consumer mental and financial harassment:

                                Tt: sarvesh verma - escalation supervisor & agent ashish bisht on phone who were unsure whats going on with my account and were changing statements as per my questionnaire. I will issue legal notice to these names as well on mental harassment.

                                  I have paid an advance rental for my airtel broadband connection for 6 months as per the plan committed to me. After receiving the payment they have changed the plan to a lower plan. On raising a complain for frequent disconnection i was informed about the plan change also. On asking the refund of the advance rental they have denied saying its an one time payment which was never shared with any body from airtel.
                                  Its a kind of fraud airtel has started doing with there customers.

                                      This is very surprise and not expected that i will not get response even after seven days after verification of new connection????? Please note that verification has done successfully and whenever i have checked with my details with sim distributor then he told that your verification has been successful,
                                      Request you please take this seriously and take action at earliest, Either start this new connections or confirm that you can’t do it, then i will go to any other service provider.

                                        1 month back, two of my friends who are staying in my area have bought new Airtel broadband connection of 1099Rs plan @16Mbps and I am using the same plan for the past four months but with just 8Mbps. So, I have called Airtel customer care today to ask them why I was not intimated earlier about this speed upgrade from 8Mbps to 16Mbps since my area is feasible for it. Customer care person said it's not possible and after a long conversation, he has transferred the call to retention team. Retention team person said that 'If yu want, yu have to call us man, we will not intimate you', he was so rude in his speech.and I haven't seen a such a worst customer service like this. Also, he said there are so many customers who are paying 1099Rs for 2Mbps speed. OHhhh MY GOD, how dare he openly agreed that he is cheating the customers.Is this the right way to talk? So, it's totally cheating and you making customers fool. Finally, the retention team person told me to look for some other better service provider and started talking about the connection closing procedures. I am really fed up and I am mentally got stressed.
