We had requested for a new broadband connection @ chennai patinapaakam sales
Office @ [protected] and a person named mr. Vasanth had come to collect rs.1000
From us on 10th may promising we would get the new connection within 3 to 5
Days. It has been 15 days since we paid the amount. Before registering we asked
Them to check whether connection can be given to mogappair west and they said
It can be done but now they are telling port is not available and need to set
Up one that too after we calling them a couple of days back.

Henceforth we wish to cancel the airtel broadband connection which has a very
Poor service department.

Please immediately refund our amount if not i would escalate the issue to the
Higher authority.

    Airtel 4g dongle was meant to be taken after three days of purchase of dongle according to the "trial period offer". Security amount of rs. 2300/- was taken at the moment of purchase and was meant to be refunded after the trial period is over. But now it has been more than a month, service providers haven't refunded the money in spite of constant reminders given by me. When i used to call them to refund the security, they used to make false promises of collecting the device and refunding the money; but they never used to come which led to frustration. I also visited airtel service center but still the problem wasn’t resolved. This led to harassment.
    Remedy
    I am here in chennai for few more days from now, so i want immediate collection of device and refund of security fee rs 2300

      I did my recharge for airtel dth cust id-[protected] on 9th may, for rs. 320 in the night around 10p. M. However, as per the customer care the amount was approved at 00:01a. M. Later that night.
      I have already mentioned quite a no. Of times to the customer service that my no. To be registered is [protected] only, but some other no. Has been registered on which your team claims to send messages, and that no. I don't even possess. The transaction message was sent on that no., as per the customer care.
      I was denied of rs. 15 cashback and rs. 15 penalty was also deducted as disconnection maintenance charges. However, the fact goes that i recharged before the expiry date. If the transaction amount is reaching the next day, that too at a 1 minute delay just at 00:01a. M., then its a technical error, not a delay by the customer side. Also there was no message on my phone at what time the transaction took place, so i am just agreeing to what is being told now verbally. Also any penalty deduction happens only when services are suspended, as per the rules told by the customer service itself manyatimes, but my services were also not disconnected.
      It has already happened once that i had suffered rs 30 loss, around 2-3 months back, when 1st any wrong date of recharge was shown in your server, and then upon interrogation the correct date was found, so adjustment was made. It has happened the 2nd time within a few months. Please refund the rs. 30 amount and also just keep my no. [protected] as my registered no. So that i can get a message when the transaction is done.

        I went to Thailand on 11/05/16 with my Airtel No. Neither I hv activated International Roaming nor I selected the network manuaaly. When I opened my mobile I got the network. But it was not intimated that I will be charged Rs 99 as rental for dat. I got lots of sms from your end except intimation. I also took vodafone and I didnt get network as I havent activate it.Without info how u can charged that.Its a cheating.Plz refund.

          Thanking you so much for your email.

          Last day when I had conversation with you you were simply not understanding a simple thing which completely your email says in written. You said 'I have not paid for my march bill which was completely wrong I was again and again told you that I paid that amount separate than this transaction.

          The simple common sense which was missing in our conversation(from your side) was that you are not ready to listen just saying what my system says now in this email your system says I paid thrice

          3==== may 2
          however you were again and again arguing that I haven't paid anything before may 1 and you again and gain forcing on words that my system says now she your system says how bad customer service you people give.

          My complained starts now 1 your staff should have the knowledge to read your own system you didn't see my transaction.

            I have been following up with Airtel for replacing 4G hotspot battery which is in a very dangerous condition right now. It's completely bulged and if i try to charge it may even blast and cause severe damages. I first walked into an Airtel store in RT Nagar in April to enquire about it. They were not even ready to talk and asked us to call customer care. I called up customer care from that store only but they said they do not know what can be done. They did not even register a complaint or service request. We checked online and approached some service centres in Mathikere and Rajajinagar they said they have stopped supporting Quanta batteries. Later we checked in all shops in SP Road hoping to find a battery. We checked in Airtel office at Nandidurga Road they too gave us 2 nos which were switched off. They did not even know the service centre address. We approached customer care but again no help. They asked us to drop an email. I did that but no response. I posted a complaint in facebook that's when they spoke to me. But my post was deleted from facebook. I called up customer care several times only then they responded. They sent me a list of service centers. I called up every centre provided in the list nearly 20 of them but they all replied that they do not support this battery. I wrote to appellate when they said they will have a device engineer visit our place. Today morning i got a call from[protected] the engineer was very rude and said they cannot do anything as the company had stopped supporting this device. It's just been a year and now if i have to buy new device every year why should i take Airtel connection? Also when i first approached the device was under warranty. Now the warranty has expired. This is not my problem but the companies negligence. I want to make sure that i get a replacement in next 24 hours failing which i will disconnect all my airtel connections and make sure all my friends also move to a different network. Me being a lady i have been roaming around so much in between my office time and personal time. I feel so harassed right now. I need justice. I have no dues till today. Even if the device was not working i have made the payment on time. I have been a loyal customer of Airtel for 14 years now and i had this issue everytime i buy a new connection from them. I am now paying for being loyal to Airtel.
            How can they sell a device to customer with so much of advertisement and later say they don't support that device. Severe action must be taken against Airtel for cheating and harassment.

            I have heard this from customer support team many times but they are not able to help saying the battery is not being supported.
            I got an email from Airtel support team saying i need to buy a new device. Does that mean every time the company stops supporting a device we need to buy a new device? The first time i approached Airtel my device was very much under warranty. The team misguided us and we had to spent 2 months roaming around from one centre to another and now that the warranty period is over they are asking me to buy a new device.
            The appellate is also asking me to buy a new device as they cannot find a battery. It's so frustrating after 2 months of discussion and running around from store to store, service centre to service centre and calling customer care no multiple times they are saying this. Every time the company stops providing service we should buy a new device.
            I understand the problem of this consumer. I am going tgrough similar problem too. This ba, ttery is not available on the market. As itbis Airtel's post sale behaviour is terrible. High time we all join and make a case in a consumer court. No one, mark, no one must take an Indian cinsumer for a ride.

            By tge way their payment site or app is down right user unfriendly too!

              Hi. I'd registered for airtel broadband internet connection in shri nagar, chokkampudur, coimbatore. It's been almost a week since my request was put and i paid the connection charges of rs 1000. However, the technicians refuse to install the connection despite my repeated calls. The service agent mr. Ramesh from airtel coimbatore is so unresponsive and doesn't answer to my calls. When i wanted the new connection he would answer to even my missed calls, but when ut came to delivery of the service nr ramesh did not so much as care to even pick my call. Worst service.

              Fed up, i applied to cancel my connection request and asked for the redund of inr 1000 that i had deposited. Airtel asked me to send a snapshot of my passbook on their whatsapp number which i did. I was told that my refund request is being processed and i should be able to get my refund in two days.

              It has been more than a month and despite my repeated calls and enquiries on their whatsapp number i have not gotten any response.

              I regret the day i decided to choose airtel broadband. They have been a pain eversince.

                this is really serious issue i am facing now, i am getting call from a airtel number from bihar ([protected]) and asked me that my debit card expires and give me your debit card number, i told him i will get it verified by my bank, then he started abusing me on my mother and sister . i do not understand how could you guys give the sim to such kind of people who does like this and misuse the sim . have you guys properly verified the persons identity before activate his sim number ., the another number i am getting call is again from Bihar who abused me [protected].


                if you guys will do like this just to improve your sales by giving sim to fake people i am serious about it i will take action on you .because i do not have other option and can not take it more .


                this is my sincere request to you to solve this matter and give me the detail of this number i will file a police complain on his name, or else i will hire a lawer for this and take suitable action against him .

                • Do not respond to any suspicious missed calls from unknown numbers.
                • Do not get lured into any financial transactions or divulge any personal information like IMEI, Bank Account number and other information to callers offering prize money or lottery winnings. Also do not respond to any instructions to dial an international number to get the prize money.
                • This luring may also be done through SMS messages offering prize money and seeking personal details on a specified email ID. Please do not respond to these.
                • Do not respond to any SMS/Email from unknown sources prompting you to call on a number or go to a site offering free download of content/movie clips/pictures.

                  Today i recharged via my airtel app on my number with 200 rs. It was showing ftt (Full talk time) of rs 200 on browse plans. So i did and got only 170.67 rs. This ftt showing for all my airtel number and not in special offer. So i complained on customer care number but they didn't replied well. And try to confused me with different answer. And it's not first time so please do something about these frauds. I have there call recording and snapshot of my airtel app plan as well.

                    I am working from home and every time I make a call or receive a call I cant able to continue the call for more than 1 minute, it either get distorted or disconnected. I complained to Airtel 3-4 times but they never responded or resolved my issue. Whomever makes a call from my apartment have this issue, so its certainly not an issue with my airtel number but an issue with the range provider itself.

                        After a heavy windstorm in Hyderabad my DTH is receiving no signal.I understand there could be some delay in restoring the service. But the so called reliable brand AIRTEL is not able to do anything even after 6 days.

                        The worst part is the way the situation is handled. I have been making calls to their ccare to get the same response. No one seems to know what is going on.
                        And there is no follow up either by technical/support teams. The direct no. of Area managers to expedite the process seem to be hoax, coz no one care to attend the calls on them.

                        I was a fond member of airtel. But it seems these unreliable service and poor customer service push me to rethink.

                        Its a rolling stone of mistakes in terms of customer handling.

                        Post this complaint, I received a call from AIRTEL executive to know the status of my issue.
                        And promised to send the technician immediately, ofcourse no agreement on IMMEDIATELY.

                        A day passed and still counting.

                        Kudos, AIRTEL customer support.

                        By the way, I also dropped a mail to airtel.[protected]@airtel.com as mentioned as an answer to similar complaint.

                        My Airtel DTH Id [protected] was not working due to signal issue. ( Error : B001). I had been calling ccare since two days, customer care guys are not responding properly, every time they are saying issue will be resolved by their technician, but none of them turned up.

                        DONT BUY AIRTEL DTH IN FUTURE, IF YOUR SERVICE IS BROKEN, YOU CAN'T GET BACK THE SAME. BUT AT THE SAME TIME YOUR RECHARGE AMOUNT WILL KEEP ON BURN DAILY.

                        This is the same response I am getting from your call center for the past one week.

                        The problem, I am not getting any call/message from your support teams and the issue is still there.
                        Below is a snippet from your website on your benchmark of resolving the issue.


                        Benchmarks: At least ninety per cent of complaints concerning non-receipt of all signals by the Customer save and except due to disturbances of weather or natural calamities, will be redressed and we will restore the signals within a period of twenty-four hours of the receipt of complaint.
                        We will redress at least ninety per cent of complaints (other than non- receipt of signals) By customer, within a period of forty-eight hours of the receipt of complaint. Provided complaints for Customer coming from remote or hilly tracts or hilly areas or distant rural areas or Disturbances due to weather may be readdressed as early as may be feasible.
                        Finally the issue is resolved after a week's time and repeated escalations.
                        Today I have dropped a mail to AIRTEL nodal office. Soon after I received a SMS with technician details.
                        Not sure which option worked.

                        I was charged 150 Rs service charge by the technician.
                        Still wondering.. should we waste our time and loose our temper for a paid service.

                            I was in a assumption that airtel is a customer centric company but am wrong. I had many problems with my number [protected] but the way they were dealt made me to be with airtel but now I don't think that being with airtel will be a good decision. I want to close my numbers and need a refund for what ever balance is available in the number [protected] and I have paid 130 rs for [protected] which is not yet been activated even after 3 days. I have not taken the sim [protected] from any third party retailer it's been taken from airtel shop at radhika ecil. They have asked me for documents which I gave after checking them he gave me the sim and took 130rs from. Today when I visited he said document was not clear so I gave my drivers licence which staff of airtel took a xerox asked me to sign and promised me that by 9 pm today your number will be activated. Always false promises made and given by airtel. Am fedup of these false promises so I think instead of arguing writing mails tweets it will be a good decision to leave airtel and look for a different network provider who will provide me better service at the least no false promises. My last and mail with a humble request is please take your sim cards and refund me the amount what ever is available as a balance in both the numbers am not interested in being with airtel at any cost now I have made up my mind. So please I hope airtel will honor my decision and let me go by refunding the amount. I have attached a screenshot of present status of [protected] so please honor my decission.

                              I am using Airtel CUG 299 corporate plan for long back and the plan was changed to 399 plan without my approval.

                              After sending an email and discussing with the Airtel Support team, they said there is not going be to any change to the existing plan and reverted additional money charged on my bill. But again this month they moved me into the 399 plan without my notice and charged in the bill.
                              I have all this communication in my emails and can share with any team to further discuss and solve this problem.

                              This is not a fair practice by the reputed organization like Airtel and lot of time waste to the consumer to discuss with the support team always these sort of issues.

                              I want to retain with my earlier CUG plan(299) only as i dont' want to spend more money on my plan where it is not relevant to my need.

                                    I already top up for Rs.90 talk time and Rs.110 rate cutter for my airtel sim. Today I have balance of Rs.10. I just made a call to my friend and speak for a 1 to 2 mints.after that it suddenly tell that insufficient balance to make outgoing call...before 1 month also I got same issue..I have balance of Rs.7 but I am not able to make any calls after that only I put rate cutter and top up of Rs.90 also...on that time itself I call to Airtel customer care but they are not give proper reason for this..I ask them what is the minimum balance for doing outgoing he told Rs. 1.5 but on that day I have Rs.7 but not able to do the out going..Now also while talking about imp matter it says low balance so I check my account it shows Rs.8.24 but not able to make outgoing.If we tried their customer care means it is not connected after we give any complaints.REALLY A WORST SERVICE PROVIDER.WHAT IS THE USE OF A SIM.If we are in any urgency we call some peoples but in this sim it is not at all possible if you are not have balance minimum Rs.20 or above.

                                      I have asked the mobile vendor to deactivate my number they said that they will process the request but there has been no sign of such thing. I have been receiving bills of the last four months which is ridiculous. My outstanding bill is now rs1227. Over this period of four months not a single call has been made.                                         Last week i went to airtel recharge website http://www.airtel.in/personal/mobile/prepaid/easy-recharge-enter-number to activate 2g package for my airtel number [protected].

                                        There was a offer saying -- 1 gb -- 2g recharge for 96 rupee - (Valid for 28 days).
                                        So i went ahead and did the recharge.

                                        But to my shock and horror, only 350gb 2g data was credited -- valid for 14 days.

                                        I tried calling customer care many times but no response.

                                        I demand airtel to refund my money or give me the 1gb data which was promised on airtel website.

                                        AirTel has given balance data only after Raising Complaint. I hope next time they will do without Reminders.
