I had done an online recharge of Rs459/- for Airtel prepaid mobile no: [protected] on 27/04/2016 through ICICI Bank Internet Banking.
Till now, I have neither received any service against that recharge, nor a refund. Upon contacting Airtel customer care, and also escalating to their higher redressal authorities, they said that the recharge was "successful", but since I had done it through a "third party", they cannot refund the amount. On the other hand, the bank is telling me that they have carried on the transaction successfully and only the biller, that is Airtel can refund the amount.
When I forwarded ICICI Bank transaction confirmation email to them, they again repeated the same thing. Neither Airtel nor ICICI Bank is refunding the money, nor is Airtel providing service for the amount.

    Dear Sir,

    I bought a new SIM card on 11th May 2016 through Bluberry Ventures at Banglore.

    This was mentioned that this connection will be activated in two days time.

    Since then calling to 121 and 198, [protected], [protected] I have made n no of requests but my no is still not activated.

    I got SMS as well for assurance that my no will be activated in 24 hours.

    Today is 5th day and even after so many calls and reminders my no is still not activated .

    I belong to Shapooji Pallonji & company ltd. and are a corporate user of Airtel across India .

    May I request you to intervene and sort out this issue on priority.

      Dear Team,

      I am running one number [protected], of airtel company, for the month of April I got a bill somewhere around 2550/- its showing the net usage on 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th April 2016 although till date we had never used any net on this number.
      I am surprised how I get the bill of this amount when I haven't used the net and its showing in their system as net used, I ma using this number since last 2 yrs plus had always been regular in payments as well not even any extra amount in my bill got generated.
      pls check and get the same resolved and get the waver done of net usage amount and what so ever is my regular bill which I usually pay will get it paid.

      Kindly look into it on high priority and get its resolved.

        My balance has been deducted without my consent first 99 then 15 rs.

        First there customer care executive said balance deduction was due to data usage but when I countered it that I already have net pack activated.
        They said I activated VAS at 5 in morning, when countered again they quickly said it was activated 5 days back and the bluntly said that money won't be refunded.

        They activated VAS without my consent.

          This is to inform you that I paid Amount ₹1000 and documents for new Airtel broadband connection on 11/5/2016 in name of Kartik Kumar at Airtel store hazratganz Lucknow.
          Today it's 16/5/2016 and no one came for installation at my address
          I have gone to their outlet many times still no response.
          Every time I go there I am told in morning that till evening I connection will be provided then in evening I am told for the next day.

          Kindly solve issue as soon as possible.

            On 10th May I had requested for a new Airtel 4G Router in Airtel website. Then a representative (mobile:[protected] contacted me and delivered the device and a sim card. The seal was broken, and no bill/receipt was provided to me after taking the cost 2550.
            On 12th morning, I got the number activated. Then I checked that there are some old SMSs in the device, please refer the attached images. Still I configured WLAN and tried to start using. it worked for few minutes, then after this device always showed no signal. Then in the mean time I started exploring the features of the Huawei Android App, where I saw these
            attached old SMSs. Then it confirmed my doubt. Even then I tried to find a work around. So, I did a factory reset, still the issue is the same. Please, do
            arrangements for replacing the used device with a sealed pack unused brand new device. I am still yet to start using the service due to the defective and already used device, although the billing has already started.

            Please refer the attached image for the complete communication between I and Airtel.
            Today I got calls from the Airtel. They are resolving this issue by stating that, if the device is faulty then only it would be replaced. Also, they mentioned that in airtel.in, there is no such option to request for buying a device. Then I explained them how to buy from their website. Then they said, now you prove that you have bought it from their website and not from any other third party website, which I cannot prove, as this information should be their in the Airtel server. Then I called their so called Appellate, who said that the old messages were there with the sim as the number has been reprovisioned. Then I proved them wrong by stating that the number can be reprovisioned, but the messages and contacts are stored in the sim and not with the number. Then they said that, now onwards you will not get any such sms. They even dont understand what I want to prove that the device is a used one. Then I asked them the dealer's address wjo has taken responsibility of selling the device to me. They said that that information is not with them. I have to contact the seller. Then, I tried calling the person who had sold the device to me. I only have his number, which is [protected], but that person is not picking up the calls, he is frequently rejecting my calls. Today, he received my call once, so I asked him to provide the invoice. He said that he will email me. But he did not email me. I asked him where is your store, he said that we do not have any store. Then I requested Airtel to start investigation about the issue, they told me that if you have ordered through Airtel, then it must have been sold by a Airtel store. As the person is saying that they dont have any store, that means I have bought it from third party website. What a wonderful logic to prove the right to be wrong. They said that they will not do any investigation. I have recorded the call with the Appellate, where you can find how they are illogically rejecting my logics to prove my truth.

            Now, if Airtel is reading this, then I would only say that Airtel is promoting the frauds, and does not believe the customers. I dont want to have your service. I can think of I have wasted my INR 2550, that's ok, but I shall never use their service in my life and will definitely try to let as many of my friends and relatives about the issue. As I have not used their service, I shall not make any payments to them in future. This message I shall keep for the so called Legal Action they take if customer defaults in the payment.

            What I can feel is that Indian services has not matured well to provide proper services to their customers.

            Namaste to your fraud activity, and promoting frauds to sell used devices.
            Finally, got the device replaced with the help of Police. Airtel did not help me at all. Rather Airtel did not believe my words.

                Its really bull i have complaint three times on 198 that i m not getting 3g/4g speed every time they said sir wait for 72 hour it will be resolved but still i didn't get any call or any resolution from your end its totally waste of time and waste of money i m getting 2g speed and jst i can use only whts app and when ever tying to browse any other its not working i m complete frustrated from airtel services. I am using airtel from last 6, 7 years. I want refund my money other wise i will move to another network like vodafone they are providing better service in cheap rate.

                Not happy with airtel services.

                  i feel its worst network, where basic network is not avaiable, cant make any call or received calls ..
                  Inside my office i dont get single signal bar, i have to come of my office to make or answer the call, my clients and Friends keep on complaning my phone, always not reachable, even i visited their gallery, no proper response from their end.

                    I noticed that whenever i receive email bills from my airtel postpaid number, the subject of the email states "[warning: message encrypted]your airtel bill for mobile number: 9xxxxxxxxx, bill date: 12-may-2016, airtel account:xxx-xxxxxxxxx"

                    Why is it... A warning for your customer to know that it's your monthly bill that you have to pay by the end of your due date and its just for your information that you have to pay this bill that got generated today???

                    Second, when i call from malaysia on your so called post paid premium service customer care number, +91-[protected], i only get 2 options, 1. Apply for your new number or 2. Number portability... That's all???

                    What about other options??

                    Airtel what has happened to you? I had been using your services and the same number under airtel postpaid for 16 years now... Your customer service has gone completely to drain. Fix it please... I have big disappointment with your customer service... And next time i'll come to india i'll get my mobile services ported to other mobile service providers. Airtel has to keep a check on their pathetic customer service from many years now and correct... And stop losing their loyal customers.

                    Moreover I forgot to mention about how many times I had to call that same so called PREMIUM number to get hold of a person to talk...and when I talked to the agent, I need to mention that how many times I had to explain my problem and whole story again and again and again and again...to each and every agent...even to to their so called Floor supervisor...why because suddenly they will stop HEARING my voice...WOW...good job AIRTEL for such a poor lines...every time I call, and all the times your agents stops getting my voice, the moment I start complaining...??? I'm complaining because I'm a loyal customer of AIRTEL from past 16 years but I'm not getting any so called PREMIUM services at all so far. So, what's the point of being with Airtel then???

                      Balance of around rupees 45 was being deducted from my account on previous day and i dont know the reason behind that deduction.
                      No information is there regarding that balance deduction.
                      Either tell the reason behind the deduction or give the money back to my account because this is not fair at all.
                      If this type of things are happening then how can we trust on your company
                      As i m the oldest user of airtel.
                      Please reply soon for this complaint.
                      I hope you do right things and treat your customers properly.

                      May I please know the reason why I was denied to port out to Vodafone, Lucknow. I am being forced to use my number on roaming at a higher charges which is a financial impact.

                      I applied for prepaid to post paid conversion of my number, for which I was told that my phone services will be switched off only for 10-15 min, but my phone is switched off since hours and their customer care is not even taking complain.
                      I am experiencing lot of charging and balance get deducted the moment it is recharged with
                      Very bad experience.

                      Please stop all all promotional service immediately .

                      Today on 9th may 100 rs recharged hardly two calls and one sms is done .
                      now balance is Rs 47 how come it may happen.

                            I have concern with 4G bill received for WiFi hotspot new connection; mobile number: [protected].

                            Received bill Rs. 3, 319 which is very high as I used 4G only 2 days 30 min. No download was done.

                            Current bill showing Rs 2899 + Taxes where as Rs 2899 advance rent already paid by me. I have been inform 4 gb is free for 4 months and only tax amount need to pay. When I informed same to customer support executive, response is not convincing and asked me to visit showroom from where device is purchased. Data usage also not correct. No transparency in what showroom person said and customer care answered to billing concern query.

                            I request some senior Airtel person to solve issue asap.

                              There is a lucky recharge offer I checked that in 208 we get 1.1 GB -10 gb for 28 days. It means a person gets minimum of 1.1gb but I have got 500 mb.                                 Please find the details of the issues with Airtel service and the pathetic customer support (have visited the service center thrice and the issue is still not resolved)
                                1. The SIM is not detected in my cellphone, I submit it for servicing thinking the cellphone has problem, they keep it for 4 days and then show that other SIMs are working. I go to Marthahalli Airtel (on 13th May) and get a new SIM, thinking it would work. The SIM doesn't work.
                                2. I go to electronics city service center, the lady says SIM is not registered and I should get another SIM (which is not universal) and she asks me to get the documents, which I have but she needs a photo as well. So I get a photo and visit the center in the evening one more time. New SIM (third) is given to me and I am told it would be activated in 4 hours. This happened on 14th May
                                3. More than 24 hours later the SIM is not activated, on calling airtel I am told that the SIM number is not reflecting properly and I need to visit the airtel center one more time. I ask them to raise a complaint and they deny saying the on phone we will not do anything, you have to go to center and we will not take the complaint as well (on 15th May).
                                4. Now instead of correcting the SIM issue I am asked to give details to validate the email address. In any case if I am fake person you should make the SIM corrected for the account holder. What is the need for this question?

                                The SIM is still not registered and I am asked questions not relevant and the service center is not taking complaints (and providing SR)?

                                There is no support, the email details were already provided in the said email. But you didn't read the email and replied 1 hour back saying give alternate number. Please read the email chain going for 4th day now, you would get all the details.
                                And have the common sense to understand that you should not be asking these details on public forum.
                                Having done numerous calls and four visits to airtel service center, and encountering the non-supportive behaviour (where a reply is given without reading the email), I am adding senior airtel executives.
                                Hope this issue gets resolved asap.

                                    I am Airtel Customer from long time. I had 300MB in my net balance and around 75rs in my main balance. When I was using the net within 10 min I got a message that your main balance is 0rs. I was shocked to notice that within 10 min of net browsing without any downloads/listening to songs how can my balance goes to 0. When I noticed that internet balance is 60 mb available. When I called up the customer care they are saying when you open multiple apps this will happen we will refund your account balance. Which means that if I open linked in account should I not open any other apps? This has happened to me many times this was the first time I have noticed it.This is big network flaw very very disappointing act from Airtel.

I had 200 MB data left and 25 Rs balance and I used the Internet for hardly 5 minutes, and I got a message that I don't have sufficient balance to browse the net. I have recently switched to the Bill Bachao App. It tracks the daily usage of my phone and gives me a complete breakup of my calls, messages, and data spends. It also gives me app wise data consumption details that helps me know which of the apps are burning my mobile data. I ensure these apps are not running in the background.                                       Since 2014, I am facing severe network issue on my airtel mobile number. I have 4g sim and a 4g bill plan of 2GB data p.m. I raised the issue to Airtel in May 2015, June 2015, August 2015, September/ October 2015, February/ March/ April/ May 2016 as well.
                                      In May 2015, Airtel informed via email that their company does not have sufficient set up/ infrastructure at my above said location and they were unable to provide better services. Thereafter they suggested me to replace 3g sim and switch over to 4g sim. I then replaced the sim as well as handset from Google nexus 5 to One plus one x.
                                      Despite this, all existing issues remained same which are:
                                      1.zero signal and no network connectivity continuously for many hours.
                                      2.Due to severe connectivity issues, even 2g network is not available. This leads to higher usage and charges of internet usage as downloading/uploading, browsing etc. stops again and again while use.
                                      3. I have to make calls to Dubai location but either there remains no connectivity or call drops immediately/ within 2-5 seconds after getting connected. This is sheer wastage of money bocause even for 2 second long call a charge of Rs. 13 per minute or part of a minutes is imposed on me.
                                      4. For these reasons I have to forward my incoming calls to my landline phone. Call forwarding service is also charged by Airtel separately. This is an additional cost on me.

                                      All these additional costs are easily reflected in my post paid monthly bill.

                                      When I informed to Airtel about these matters, since day one, Airtel has been refusing to accept that their services are deficient and their network fails. Now finally after exchange of almost 70-80 emails in past one year, Airtel conducted a survey of my location and agreed in writing that they need to augment network services by setting up better infrastructure. They confirmed to have located land for this purpose near my location. However since more than one month they are committing that their services will be improved in at least 90 days.

                                      I reqested Airtel to make adjustment in my bills on account of all above said charges being paid by my due to their deficiency in services however they refused. When I sent them screen shots of wrongful and arbitrary charges, they agreed to provide a discount of approximately ₹500 in March 2016. But this was also not intended by Airtel, that is why the said discount was not reflected in next months bill.

                                      I had asked Airtel to make adjustment of 50% of the bill amount paid since April 2015 and till their network gets improved in my location. This for the reason that Airtel is charging for those calls which are either dropped due to unavailability of their network and insufficient infrastructure, but also due to call forwarding charges.

                                      As I have spent considerable time in making complains through approximately 80 emails and numerous calls at their grievance redressal mechanism, and no satisfactory redressal given by Airtel, I request you to look into the matter and I pray for following:
                                      1. Adjustment of 50% of my past one year of Airtel mobile bills.
                                      2.damages of Rs. 500000 payable by Airtel on account of my time, money and energy wasted in all above said complaints and harassment faced due to Airtels adamant attitude.
                                      3. Improved Airtel network at my location.

                                      I request you to consider my complaint and an early redressal of the matter.

                                      Kindly note that all emails exchanged with Airtel, their replies, evidences provided to them, are available with me which I can provide in case your good self would like to peruse them regarding above said matter.

                                        I bought a Airtel 4G POSTPAID DONGLE on last year [protected]@2015 from the Airtel agent in Bangalore.

                                        In that i was chosen advance rental plan rs 2999 and paid that money to that agent, also got invoice bill from him.
                                        As per this plan i should not get a bill for two months.

                                        Unfortunately i was getting the bill for those two months around rs 4500.

                                        I had checked with the "Airtel customer care and appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com " were more than 20times regarding this issue but
                                        they has given only answer is "Advance rental plan is not updated in my profile".So i need to pay as per the plan like that they were informed.

                                        Here my question is, Is it my problem the plan is not updated into my airtel profile ? or who has authority to update my airtel profile ?

                                        Even i have the invoice bill as proof to say, i paid 2999 to airtel agent for the the advance rental plan, but still airtel people are asking me to pay for those months as i paid in advance.

                                        Note:Actually Airtel customer-care support is too bad and they are not ready to solve the problem.
