Since 2014, I am facing severe network issue on my airtel mobile number. I have 4g sim and a 4g bill plan of 2GB data p.m. I raised the issue to Airtel in May 2015, June 2015, August 2015, September/ October 2015, February/ March/ April/ May 2016 as well.
In May 2015, Airtel informed via email that their company does not have sufficient set up/ infrastructure at my above said location and they were unable to provide better services. Thereafter they suggested me to replace 3g sim and switch over to 4g sim. I then replaced the sim as well as handset from Google nexus 5 to One plus one x.
Despite this, all existing issues remained same which are:
1.zero signal and no network connectivity continuously for many hours.
2.Due to severe connectivity issues, even 2g network is not available. This leads to higher usage and charges of internet usage as downloading/uploading, browsing etc. stops again and again while use.
3. I have to make calls to Dubai location but either there remains no connectivity or call drops immediately/ within 2-5 seconds after getting connected. This is sheer wastage of money bocause even for 2 second long call a charge of Rs. 13 per minute or part of a minutes is imposed on me.
4. For these reasons I have to forward my incoming calls to my landline phone. Call forwarding service is also charged by Airtel separately. This is an additional cost on me.
All these additional costs are easily reflected in my post paid monthly bill.
When I informed to Airtel about these matters, since day one, Airtel has been refusing to accept that their services are deficient and their network fails. Now finally after exchange of almost 70-80 emails in past one year, Airtel conducted a survey of my location and agreed in writing that they need to augment network services by setting up better infrastructure. They confirmed to have located land for this purpose near my location. However since more than one month they are committing that their services will be improved in at least 90 days.
I reqested Airtel to make adjustment in my bills on account of all above said charges being paid by my due to their deficiency in services however they refused. When I sent them screen shots of wrongful and arbitrary charges, they agreed to provide a discount of approximately ₹500 in March 2016. But this was also not intended by Airtel, that is why the said discount was not reflected in next months bill.
I had asked Airtel to make adjustment of 50% of the bill amount paid since April 2015 and till their network gets improved in my location. This for the reason that Airtel is charging for those calls which are either dropped due to unavailability of their network and insufficient infrastructure, but also due to call forwarding charges.
As I have spent considerable time in making complains through approximately 80 emails and numerous calls at their grievance redressal mechanism, and no satisfactory redressal given by Airtel, I request you to look into the matter and I pray for following:
1. Adjustment of 50% of my past one year of Airtel mobile bills.
2.damages of Rs. 500000 payable by Airtel on account of my time, money and energy wasted in all above said complaints and harassment faced due to Airtels adamant attitude.
3. Improved Airtel network at my location.
I request you to consider my complaint and an early redressal of the matter.
