Hi, this is Mr.P.K.Kunhikannan from Kolkata having airtel prepaid connection no. 0091-[protected]. I lost my mobile yesterday night, hence, I want to request the Airtel team to please BLOCK this Sim card ASAP.

Please guide me through the process of issuing a duplicate prepaid SIM card (if possible, with the balance amount from my previous SIM). I expect a quick solution to my problem with further knowledge of the procedure

    It has been two months of due date of my airtel bill. My bill generally forms on 7th of the month. On 8th may I checked my unbilled amount to be Rs550(excluding monthly rental which is of 299). This means my bill should be around Rs850-900 but what I got in my bill is around Rs1400. I am unable to pay this amount and I didn't got any help from airtel executive also.
    Kindly get to my problem and provide me with suitable option to pay my bill.

        Hi, i recharged 299.00 rs in my airetl account [protected] on 2nd may 2016
        My transaction id is 673001 and 673608 two time i tried recharged 299.00 rs
        By airtel app but payment deducted 299.00 rs is citi bank account on 1st may 2016 on 12:17 am.. After that i recharged my account by airtel app on 7:14 am by my hdfc credit card transaction id is[protected] that was succesfull that time...
        After that i called customer care several time but there is some refernce no is there that is conrc[protected], conrc[protected] are there and some c care executive is srinu and rakesh mishra is assist me but there is no refund back in my account after 20 days and they insure me it will be refund within 3-10 working day...
        Please help to refund my amount as soon as possible.

        The Airtel mobile app is not always reliable. There have been numerous instances where my recharge amount would take days to get credited or not get credited at all. I started using a third-party payment app called Bill Bachao. The app is extremely convenient to use, and my recharge amount is credited almost immediately. It has other interesting features as well.           I am suddenly receiving these messages on my idea sim.
          I never requested for any other sim or any airtel service.
          It seems somebody got himself a sim on my name.
          I want to resolve this issue so that no body could use a sim on my ID for illegal activities.

          1st message from AK-AIRFTA

          airtel mobile [protected] is now activated. Pls call [protected] from your alternate mobile number for verfication and service activation.


          2nd Message from AD-AIRRTV

          Thank you for your interest in Airtel! We received your request for activation of mobile no. [protected]. The same will be activated within 24 hrs.


          3rd message for AD-AIRRTV

          Dear customer verification with your local reference for your Airtel Mobile [protected] has been completed successfully. We will keep you updated on the progress.

            I had registered a complaint about range issues in my area to airtel customer care centre. When i try to make a call the call gets disconnected continuously. There are two airtel connections in my house. Both face the same issue. I called up customer care three times in last two months. First time they told me that they'll get back to me within 2 days but no response came from their side. I called two more times and still no response.They never even bothered to follow up on my complaint. I would like to regretfully inform that i am forced to change both my connections because of the horrible service provided by airtel.

              I have applied for a new airtel broadband connection on 13/05/2016 for the address #3/194, 3rd cross street, kumaran kudil annex, thoraipakkam, chennai -97.
              I made a payment of 1000 and gave my id proof and pictures to the airtel broadband executive person. (Name: basha, contact: [protected])
              After which i have received no calls regarding my connection, when i tried to reach out to the person who collected my details is not picking up the calls for more than a week. I am stranded with no clue to whom to contact and get my new connection. I wonder how these executives is so irresponsible to even respond to calls.

              Did you guys understand what i have stated in previous query, cos i couldnt understand how did you ask me the account number details when i havent got any information after paying the money for broadband.
              I have not received a call from that airtel executive till now, only the customer service calls telling we will get back soon. It took 10 days for airtel to reply back to a customer to check the concern. Excellent Service. Applause.

                  I had recharged two times 500rs each, the transaction was successful but recharge failed saying there is some technical problem.

                  It has been 18 days there is no refund and every time there is some new answer from the cc

                  Highly disappointing, the services are not supportive at all. Technical faults from the merchants end and the customer has to make n number of calls.

                    Hi,


                    Yesterday[protected] i was recharged mobile number [protected] by tariff plane 85 to deduct pulse rate on my mobile number but 85rs deduct two times in my account.


                    My mobile received recharge message two time 6:30 and 7:07. How it is possible same tariff plane activated same number same time or same day.


                    If it is possible then this vary beg problem in you software recharge. Airtel company not a small brad it very big brand if this type cheating problem face by customer this is not good new for you company or organization.


                    If same plane activated on same number same time or same day it will be ignore second time recharge or it will be recharge like 28*2 = 56 days.

                      Issue is: converting this two numbers 98*4 and 90*4 from postpaid to prepaid request

                      I am very disappoint and feel very unsatisfied with all airtel customer services, level 1, level 2 and level 3 support and reply regrading this simple issue to convert postpaid to prepaid.
                      They don't care of the issue just provide the time frames to fix the issue and after that again some time... Same circle is going on.
                      They don't care if they lose one customer as they have large number of customers that why they are in demanding position.

                      For my issue level 3 has given 48 hours to complete and fix my issue, but they also failed.
                      This how your customer services department is working.
                      If they do not fix simple issue than what they are doing regrading major issue.


                      I have internet and home phone from airtel also feeling to remove this services also.
                      I will also post comment on all social website regrading this issue.

                      And they have given me references number as sr69350516 ad i got one or two
                      Reply about the status and no result same delay or 24 hours waiting.

                      At last i got information that from backend or technical support or migration
                      Department (Don't know exact department) are calling me and speak to me and
                      They are closing the ticket or reference number.
                      But sir, i never received any call regrading this issue. I am only
                      Pro-actively calling the support. Please look into this matter and i hope it
                      Will be fixed.

                      I request you to please check this issue and process my request.

                        I want to let you know a fraudulent activity by airtel employee. I received a call from airtel caller-payal ([protected]) to convert my existing number ([protected]) to airtel postpaid number. She offered me rs-199 plan which contains 600 calls + 400 sms; i agreed on it.
                        Next day an agent came to me and give me a new airtel sim and ask me for and id proof and rs-250. Again i got a call from airtel ([protected]) for confirmation, but now she told me another plan details as 270 local + 160 std minutes which was different from previous details that i refused.
                        Now i want my money back. So i request you to please do the needful.

                          In chennai near mugalivakkam, for the past two days (From may 18 - 2016), i am getting only cross connections in the airtel number, couldn't establish connection in either way both incoming or outgoing, (Where as other networks works good)
                          I was helpless during my emergency. (Whatsapp helped me)
                          Irresponsible customer care people asks us to bare it till july.
                          The same case happened in the month of april and took more than 15 days to get corrected.

                            Its been a month i have raised request for broadband connection with airtel and everytime an associate calls me stating feasibility check will be done and they will get back to me. It happened for almost 10 days and then one executive was sent to collect documents and money after confirming connection is available in my locality. I was informed to get connection in 4 days and later when i checked with airtel customer care, they said again they are checking for feasibility check. This went on and on and on and at last i was informed there is no feasibility in my area. This was told after 1 month after me chasing up with appalate team after fed up with customer care. Even appalate team are worst, whenever i drop a mail, they pick it up freshly without referring my previous history and just give me same answers. These people just frustrate customers without bothering about
                            Anything.

                            Now to check refund, they asked me to share bank details. I have shared it once and still following up with them. After dropping multiple mails, again they are asking me to share the bank details with same mail format as previously. Every day new executive and he will treat my request from scratch. So what the point in having a customer care and an highest point of escalation, which doesnt even track an history of a request

                            I need refund and if possible i would need a connection as i am really of need of it.

                            Hey Onkar, what you described seems to be a common mismanagement from Airtel guys. A similar thing had happened with me in the past. I had used the Airtel app for a plan activation, but after purchasing it I was subscribed with a different plan. I called the customer care service, they took some time to process my request but it was sorted out eventually. I recommend using a better management app for your mobile recharges/plan selection. I am currently using Bill Bachao, and prior to that I was using FreeCharge. More than FreeCharge, I find it easier using the Bill Bachao app because it instantly shows me my best plans based on my data/phone usage from the last month. Initially I though that this may be due to SIM damage, since there no SMS of disconnection. Later, I went to Airtel centre in Perambur, Chennai to get a duplicate SIM. There, I was informed that this number is disconnected and sent for sale with new SIM. Now I cannot get this SIM again. I am deeply surprised by hearing this. I never expected Airtel to do such kind of poor service to its loyal customers. Now I had to go after each bank and other services to register a new number. All my friends and relatives are having this contact.

                                  I expect some response from airtel representatives after seeing this complaint. If there is no positive response, I would not recommend Airtel service to my friends and relatives. I will also change my family numbers to other service providers.

                                    I have raised many a complaints with airtel customer care for this issue. They are just closing the problem ticket without any resolution. I stay on the 21st floor of one of the most porsche areas of indirapuram ghaziabad. Airtel boasts of network, that too 4g connectivity in the remotest corners of india but i dont get any signal at my 21st floor apartment irrespective of the fact whether i am inside or standing in the open lift lobby. My postpaid airtel number is [protected] and my mother is also facing the same problemwith her airtel connection [protected].

                                    P. S. If i am not able to make or take calls then i will not pay a single paisa.

                                      Without my knowledge my sim replacement was done at airtel outlet on 30th april, x persona approached one of the airtel outlet submitted my photo copy my id and took my sim on 30th april (Saturday) @ hyderabad and 1st may is sunday and i took new sim on 2nd may (Monday) @ vishakhapatnam after, meanwhile x person the sim misused and filled and filed ftr in police station.

                                      I same regards i sent mail to nodal team on 15th may till now i did not received any response
