Hi,

I wrote lot of emails to airtel and called them multiple times. I have billing issues which they did not fix. I had to pay Rs 7606 forcefully.

Sent emails to nodal as well as appellate but no luck as on appellate there are guys sitting who just do not do anything.

People do not document case properly when you call, If you call second time they have no idea what you talking and they start from scratch.

Very frustrated now. I really wanted to pay my bill but it should be genuine and they accept that it was system fault but they are not ready to fix now.

    I saw an offer on the Airtel website for a prepaid 3G recharge Rs. 455 and get 28 days 2.75 GB 3G data (Screenshot available). After the recharge they sent a message mentioning that the recharge is of 21 days and the data given after the recharge is of 2GB 3G data (The offer does not say any terms and conditions) thus I paid for it. This is a day light robbery. They are doing a scam to attract the customer.

      Airtel showroom details : - old no 21 new 1, M G road, church road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600020

      I have gone to an Airtel Relationship center on Saturday (26/4/2016) since the shop working hours are till 8.00 pm only. I want to change my network connection from postpaid to prepaid. So i have entered the showroom by taking address proof, 2 passport photos, pan card. Now here starts the story.I walked up to an executive and asked that i want to convert from postpaid to prepaid and the answer he gave me was "Sir this was late in the evening and also server was not responding now and you can come on Monday morning".Do they think that Customer is sitting at home without any work and can come at what ever time they say.So i waited and asked another executive regarding transition from postpaid to prepaid and the answer was " we want you bring previous month bill hard copy to serve your request" upon which i asked that you can get it from your side and how would a customer can get that and the answer received was "No we want you bill hard copy at any cost". I then somehow reached to a Xerox center running to get the photocopies by walk and managed to download all the bill copies quickly and again ran to the shop.By now i was sweating like anything.I went to a executive asking i have my bill copy can you please process the request.Now again the wonderful answer i got is "Sir today server is down and we cannot process your request". ok all of my effort for bringing that hard copy went into gutter which in the first place is not mandatory from the information that i received from the Airtel customer care executive. So based upon what rule these people are demanding that hard copy from the customer is what god knows. By that time i control my frustration and came out of the showroom and i have already lost 50% of belief i had on airtel ( i have been using airtel for long ).

      So with the very little hope i still have on this company i have visited the same showroom again on Monday ( 25/4/2016 ). i visited the showroom at 7.30 pm and it is the fastest time i can reach from office. I entered the showroom and walked up to a guy asking the same question. He referred to someother guy asking about the prepaid simcards and wow, it seems there were no new sim cards and they asked me to come next day morning.I sat at some place waiting to approach some other executive as the answer is not satisfying. Its 7.48 pm and one executive who has told "the server was down " some other day approached me and asked "sir, today also server was down and we cannot take your request ". I was so furious in my mind that i have visited to a relation-ship center to have my request processed but it was turned down for the second time due to bill hard copy issue and server issue .cant a relation-ship center that big cant even have a dedicated zerox machine, then whats the point of maintaining so called relationship with the customer.Are they expecting xerox machines in every home ? I even told that bill hard copy is not mentioned mandate as per the info from customer care executive and i even told that "call center executives" can talk to you guys regarding this thing for which the answer i got was " this was our policy so we are sticking to that to verify the identity of the customer ".so i doubt does a company can't even have techniques to identify its customer except asking the customer to fetch hard copy of the bill or irresponsible people are getting hired who dont know how to behave with a customer.Then i have asked that i want to talk to the manager regarding everything and the answer was " He was leaving the office and cant meet right now and the exact time was 7.53pm " and there still good 7 minutes of time to serve the customer.

      ok by that time my complete hope on airtel customer service was killed.

      What even if i rush to the showroom 3rd time and get turned down for the same reason.

      Think about it Airtel.

      You can see the google reviews of this particular showroom and its very pathetic.Its a crucial area.people are disgusted about this showroom and the service from the airtel executives they are giving here. They are not making the brand but breaking the brand.

      Please go through all the reviews and get to know more about this showroom and level of quality it has towards its customers.

        I have recharged my dth connection online through Kotak Bank Account Kolkata branch in the 20th of January of 2015 of rs 3575. but it has not recharged my account though the money gets deducted from my bank account.
        they said it has wrongly recharged into a wrong no -[protected].

        I want my money back with interest.

          My name is javed and customer ID is [protected]. I raised a request three days back. Suddenly signal gone and message displays downloading software, 0% completed. It being same since three days. This worst Airtel company don't even care to respond to the complaint. Now my decision is to disconnect airtel DTH connection. I request my friends don't go for Airtel DTH connection. Charges are high but no no responsibility towards customer problems. They increase prices but provide poor service.Please take action against this big but not customer oriented company.

            My name is t.Omkar

            I have changed my mobile network from vodafone to airtel with mnp facility.
            Activation date is 12-jun-2015. I have recently logged into airtel website
            www.airtel.in. Checked the login link. Entered my mobile number. Got the otp.
            Then i changed my password. I checked my profile with view profile link.
            There my personal details name, residential address, email id, alternate contact number are left blank. And customer name field entered as "guest" instead of my full name.
            Kindly update my personal details online as per the id proof i submitted.

              I got more fed up on your toll free numbers wen calling immediately it cut off

                Pelope call ask for payment when we ask for discount the tell us they will give as discount. And when we pay the 3/4 amt they directly discont the connection with out any information and people ho talk to customer that people are nother only

                We dont have any other conecction when customer changer from other conecction to airtel they are so sweety.
                But later on we does no the aritel full bill
                I have been calling 41416773 here lot of people talk but no respose for what they are doing there customer is first but at ur end u can the customer from the
                One great lady call by name kirthy:[protected]/[protected] she tells u just pay on line i will just give u wave off on ur no ive u discout and u can change it to other portan off man i got my moblie discount from last two day and i am beeing request to airtel peolpe
                But its looks like poring wine on they and customer is in trouble the are happy enjoying wine on each other.

                If this complain can do some think i think they are peolpe ho realy work for what they are payed

                  I switched from idea to airtel this january. I switched to airtel 4g along with my mom and wife. For some reason its been 3 months already and all three o[censored]s have been receiving a call 5 times a week offering us plans to switch to Airtel India 4G. I received 3 calls this morning already. My number is registered in DND, and am so tempted to sue Airtel India for customer harassment.

                      There is an advertisement going on for a 3 days trial for Airtel 4G Hotspot device. When we give our information, we will be getting calls from airtel outlet. When asked about the free trial mentioned in the advertisement, they say that is not there . If you want pay money, give document and take the connection and try out. When asked in details, the concerned people disconnect the phone call. To verify the authenticity of calls, I can provide the phone numbers from which i have received calls. Is it possible to advertise anything of their choice and cheat people. If there is any legal method to either remove the advertisement since its attracting people by propagating false information .

                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                        I am a regular customer of Airtel since last 5 years. In this month my bill was outstanding for some amount and was paid by me as soon as possible.
                        Even then the company has suspended my Airtel number and I am facing a lot of problems due to that.
                        The customer service executive do not talk with the customers in manners.
                        One of the executive called me said that they have got crores of customers thet means they don't need the customers.

                            After cancellation of my connection now they are asking to pay for Rs. 2300/-

                              First I need to make clear the AirTel is worst network in the country in the regard of customer support.
                              I been following for them to get the Duplicate SIM.
                              I received the information that my SIM will be activated in four hours, but till after a week my problem is not sorted out.
                              I am receiving the worst response from customer support and from their official customer log [protected]@in.Airtel.com.
                              I am waiting for the day for activation, if it's is done for sure will go for number portability for some other Network.
                              Since I have clubbed this number with most of the bank accounts and other person requirement I been cornered to follow this useless guys.
                              Anyways Airtel gonna miss 10year old customer for very sure.
                              Will advise the people of this country not to go for Airtel, for sure Airtel will screw you at the very critical part of time in your life.

In first week of April, I talked to Airtel customer care and asked about my dues and paid all my dues as told by customer care executive. But today I got SMS from AD-ARWSVC that an amount of Rs. 400 is still pending for payment for mobile no. [protected]. I have no detail for such a large amount. Please look into the matter and get it solved.

                                      I am a new Airtel customer, opted for Airtel through portability. I guess the decision itself was a mistake, since the day I applied for airtel, I have experienced pathetic customer service. Because of the same it took over a month in the process of portability. Then comes the day of porting i did not get any intimation of the process. Later, whenever i spoke to any airtel customer support agent about my dissatisfaction I faced during the process, what all I got to hear is I am sorry ma'am, I understand but I can't comment because this is not the relevant department. Now, finally when I am on Airtel network just the very next day I lost connectivity and it was on 'No service' I restarted my phone multiple times, but no success. When network was available for a while i received missed call alerts and then again No service. Finally I wrote email to Airtel, & what I was informed "I would like to keep you updated that a new site is planned in your area. It is expected to come up in 90 days." and i received a call from airtel (with no empathy, apology etc) the guy asked me where do you face this issue, i told him everywhere in and around Delhi. After exchanging a few mails I asked them is it not their responsibility to call the customer atleast and speak to them about the concern. Then I received a call and due to weak network I lost connectivity, and could not speak to them. Then they asked me for my alternate number, as they could also sense the issue. But since then I have the same answer. I cannot switch back to Vodafone for 90 days, this connection does not work anymore, and for obvious reasons I do not want to change my number.
                                      Also, not to forget most of the emails I received from airtel appellate, they have only pre-set format, not related to the specific situation.
                                      I am stuck in this and looking for a way out.

                                        Dear Sirs,

                                        On[protected] I was recharging my mobile [protected] for 2G internet for an amount of Rs.198/-. Since it was NOT successfully done with 198/- ; I have tried to recharge my mobile [protected] for an amount of Rs.198/- for FOUR Times, and the amount was deducted from my credit card 4 times. Since it was not getting recharged for Rs.198/-, I tried for Rs.178/- which was also not done and the amount was deducted from my credit card.

                                        After some time I received a message that my above said mobile was recharged for internet and one amount for Rs.198/- was activated and one was refunded.

                                        After verifying with my credit card bill which I have attached herewith I found that only one Rs.198/- was returned and balance (2) two 198/- recharge amount were not refunded.

                                        I have done for Rs.178/- which was also not done and was neither refunded. Please look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest. The details are given below:

                                        Copy of my CREDIT CARD BILL is attached herewith for your reference and early action.

                                        Also please clarify to what amount my present mobile [protected] was charged for internet and with what scheme...?

                                        1. Recharge date :[protected]

                                        2. Recharge amount : Rs.198/- four (4) times and 178/- one (1) time for internet

                                        3. Website from where recharge was done : https://www.airtel.in/personal/mobile/prepaid/easy-recharge-enter-number

                                        4. Alternate contact number : [protected] or [protected]

                                        EVEN AFTER SENDING THE CREDIT CARD BILL COPY, I RECEIVED A MAIL THAT IT WILL BE PAID BACK - WHICH WAS NOT SO IF YOU SEE THE CREDIT CARD BILL.

                                        THREE DAYS BACK I CALLED YOUR 121 CALL CENTER AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM.

                                        I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED NEXT DAY BY 10 AM.

                                        TILL DATE NO BODY CALLED OR CREDITED MY INTERNET BALANCE OR RECHARGE TO MY ABOVE SAID MOBILE.

                                        I WAS WITHOUT INTERNET TO MY ABOVE MOBILE TILL DATE.

                                        VERY UNFORTUNATE TO PRESENT MY ISSUE.
