It is been 1 month now that I an been mentally harrassed by continous mails, sms and calls from collection department on the wrong bill.

The Story is as below :-
1) I was a regular customer of Airtel with a Plan of Rs 1200 odd figure.
2) Once i got a good offer from Hathway, I raised a request to Airtel to decontinue by plan and No. also.
3) Post this one senior guy from Airtel called me and suggested to me to not deactivate the no.. By doing so, in case I need any plan in future, i can call and get it asap. For this the charges will be Rs 49 exclusive of taxes. I agreed for this.
4) Then after a few days I took a 2 GB Plan for Rs 450/- odd figure for a Month
5) After a Month, i call Airtel to dicontinue this plan and continue with the previous plan of Rs 49. Now the Problem starts here. Here the executive activated by Rs 1200 odd figure plan.
6) And now I have been asked to pay this amount, which i am not going to pay.
7) Post this i had in numeral call around 50 odd to the customer care, but still the issue is not resolved.
The worst part is that I have to repeat my problem on each and every call to airtel.
Airtel do not have any system of have the history of the call made by the customer
Plus the commitments done on call against a ticket are not noted in their system and then I am told there are no notes.
The Last commitment done was that they will be waiving all the bill and I need to pay Rs 200 and all my association with Airtel will be ended.
So I said I will do it once I see the balance in my account as Rs 200.
This was committed by Mr. Vivek.
Today again I got a SMS with the bill amount of 1200.
Post this I again called and the same old story continued
Now the last commitment is from Miss Arti is to call me on 15th May at 1:00 and close this chapter
This is the worst service I have ever seen.
Need your urgent help on this.
I also have the Ticket Id and also the Airtel recordings can help us
Now I feel, instead of I paying, I should ask airtel for compensating me for the mental harassment call

This is still not resolved

It is been 2 to 3 months now that I an been mentally harrassed by continous mails, sms and calls from collection department on the wrong bill.

When i posted on this site, i was called by the airtel retention team to resolve the problem. But Mr. Satish who promised to solve my problem has not done. He does not have the courtesy to call me or receive by call.

Now again i am getting sms from airtel for bill payment

Pls. help me from this harrassment

    I am Pravin Dongre, from Nagpur (Mobile No. [protected]). Your agent (Mr. Kunal - [protected]) come to my home and says we have good 4G service and given some data plan. He installed OTB and collect Rs. 1500/-. and after one week he started the connection. after one day coverage was not received to us, i complaint about it on 17th March to Airtel (Complaint No.[protected]. Some executive come and check the connection, they reply this box is faulty. They change the box, till connection not started, they check the coverage and say there is no coverage at your home, there is mistake our agent gives you connection. I ask Mr. kunal for return the OTB payment or start my connection. but he says he will solve the problem but till date he is not come to check the connection as well as not receiving the call. I contact to the head Mr. Singh. he reply it is not our duty, there is lot of complaints we could not entertain you. I again complaint it on dated 28th March 2016 (ref No.[protected], but no one visited and no response from the airtel. again i complaint on 26th april 2016 (Ref No.[protected]. there was call from the Mr. Prashant ([protected]) but he is not come to see the problem and no resolve my complaint. Again i complaint online on dated 30th April 2016 (Ref No. OT[protected] but there is no response from any airtel person. also no feedbaack system for resolution of complaint

      Sir/Madam,
      You have recently introduced 4G networks and thanks a lot for it. But your 3G network works at the speed of 2G, so I wonder at what speed this grand introduction of yours is going to work at. So grand this newly introduced 4G is that it works almost everywhere or that is what the Airtel 4G advertisement potrays. Anywhere huh?
      Well your 3G network does not work properly in a corner of a room and accordingly the advertisement is too much. Don't you think? First work on your 3G services, make them better and then proceed to 4G. How does that sound? Of course this little piece of advice is nothing but crap for you. All I'm trying to say is that me, my family and my friends are all tired of your third-class services and this complaint is on behalf of them. Thank you.

        Airtel team - while the company boost about its quality and service - the company does not have the courtesy to call back customer upon cancellation request.

        for last 3 days all ii am getting on my lcd is nds hybrid loader. New software is being downloaded. Do not switch off your set top box. Downloading software... Stb waits signals. 0% completed

        finally post waiting for 2 day - call airtel services and requested a cancellation - ref 51597272 as on 11 may 2015
        yet again 12 may gone by and no call back from airtel to even ask whats the concern or is there something we can rectify
        yet again on 3rd day the same error appears.
        Finally call customer service again at 8:15 and spoke to guy called raj.
        Who gave a very generic response - " sir koi bat nahi 14 may tak apke pass call ajayega - agar apko disconnect kurna ho to kur do "
        amazing - i believe the company needs only to review its thoughts about expansion and addition of more to customer base
        but also about retaining customer who have been with airtel for good 5 years plus and also think about hiring better executive who can understand the customer and give solutions and assurance instead of giving answers which reflects that with the size of company it hardly makes a difference for exiting customers to them
        the answer from raj to be converted into days is 3 days of suffering already gone through till 12 + 2 more days just to wait for callback from retention team means 5 days of total suffering.
        I were to ask airtel - even if you fix the concern - would you refund me the 5 days of no services to me while you already have debited by day on day balance - the answer is - hmmmmmmm'

          I called the call center for free incoming on timing. A lady suggested me to do a EC recharge for RS.31. I recharged for Rs.31online. But the plan was not related to roaming. I called back the call center later the same day requesting for a recharge of Rs.31. But the lady who answered the call said that they do not provide wrong information by which she indirectly meant that I was lying. She said that she can't refunded the amount and that nothing can be done about it. Worst support from Airtel. They have incompetent and arrogant support staff.
          I regret porting my number from Vodafone to Airtel.

          The Airtel support has not called me or provided me with the recharge. How long will it take to resolve this complaint. I have already lost over Rs.100 due to your mistake
          Finally some guy from Airtel called me after 10 days and says that I did not recharge at all. What liers! When I said that I have all the proofs they said that their database does not show that I have recharfed..
          I have all the proofs. I have a Paytm voucher and also I have attached the fake message that Airtel themseves sent me after the recharge was successful...

          First thing I am going to do reaching back home is disconnect my entire family from Airtel mobile and broadband once our balance is over and then submit all my proofs on Facebook. No respect for their customers who has been using their service for so many years.

          @consumercomplaints, I have all proofs, can you please help me on how to start a consumer case against Airtel?
          Problem is not resolved. They just called me and did nothing about the problem

            Hi there,

            I have applied for new broadband connection at A-338, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan on 5th may 2016. One airtel executive came to receive the document and money. after 2 days I got my account number and fixed line number. But no one came to install the broadband. I am trying to reach out that executive but he is also making story that someone will come for sure. Already 9 days gone.

              Sub line of email communication going with appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com is "REFUND AMOUNT-FIXED LINE A/C NO:[protected]"

              Telephonic call received with offer of Telephone and Braod band plan on 8-Apr-16. Since 6 month earlier my request was rejected due to non availability of port for phone in area of residence, i confirmed to verify before processing same, based on assurance given by telecaller i processed for application formalities with Deposit amount Rs 1000/- with application (8-Apr-16, Application CEF No[protected].)

              Later i called at [protected] (Airtel) by person on 12-Apr-16 "having an issue will be sort out soon in next 2-3 days and connection will be delivered or we will process for refund".

              Date" 23-April-16 requested for refund through NEFT (all necessary documents were scanned and email to the above email id.

              on 26-Apr-16 communicated "we have initiated your refund on 25/4/16 and you will get the same with 4-5 working days on your respective bank account. "

              on 29-Apr-16 recd call informing "cheque will be processed by next week"
              same day i informed to above email id.
              Reply recd on 30-Apr-16
              refund through NEFT with the reference number 66994148 has been rejected stating that refund through cheque is in under process. Hence, you will receive the refund through a cheque within 4 to 5 working days.

              Via email, they have verified and confirm that your refund of Rs. 1000/- has already been processed as a cheque bearing the number "699060" dated on 26-04-16 which is in transit for delivery within 10 to 12 working days.

              While follow up /communicating after 12 working day regarding non delivery of cheque, updated that above cheque is dispatched on dispatched on[protected] and the same will be delivered within 20 working days.

              Today am reaching to you as not finding where i am standing as a customer.

              Airtel Update: May'16 refund of Rs.1000 for your Airtel fixedline has been dispatched. Cheque no: 699060, Tracking no: ORBPL14. The same will reach to Airtel retail store Manish Patil, C/o Megha Deshpande, UG 1 & UG 2, Raffel Tower, Saket square, Old Palasia, Indore, 452001 by42506 Request you to collect the same.
              By which date cheque will arrive is still Unclear.

                Resp. S/m,
                I recharge my mobile for data with rs.1.00 on 08 may 2016 as per advertised 1gb data but data balance not credit than after i call to customer care no.121 on 11 may 2016 at about 10 pm for data balance update. At customer care call receiving person insure to me for already credited data balance but not show in your mobile because our system upgrading and you can use data balance, than after i open net and use some data, after some time mobile snow my main balance and deducted about more than rs.200, i shocked. I continue user airtel data scheme about more than 5 years.
                Please refund my main balance due to wrongly deducted in above mobile number.

                  I checked roaming pack on airtel coustomer care no and i got a message from airtel that recharge with rs 75 and get benefit with free roaming for 30 days. And when i recharge with this amount i got a message that you recharged with 75 you call enjoy local call at 30p/s which already i was having this call rate. When i called coustomer care then they give excuse that you ll get this benifit only when you ll recharge by your own. And when i asked them if this was the terms and condition then why you guys have not mentioned over there in message then they replied that we cant help you in this. I asked them if this type of fraud you people will play with customers then please request my no for mnp. And they answered that sir ofcourse its your choice you can go for it and disconnected my call.

                  Buyed pack for local at 1 paise second at rs 7 for seven days and std pack at 30 paise minut for 8 rs for seven days. Operater cuts pack amount from my ac but always when i call local or std many times they cut at 2paise sec kabhi 1 paise sec kabhi std ka 1 rs kabhi 2 ke dar se.
                  1 bar mere mobile par maine spacial offer chaqe kiya to bataya 28 rs me 56 din ka pack milega. Pack buy kiya to keval 14 din ka mila.

                    I left to us last month... I was not able to receive incoming... Since i did not activate isd calls...
                    When i returned back to india my number has been blocked...
                    I was made to walk piller to post unnecessarily... I also raised so many mails regarding the same... Still am unansered... When i approached airtel store... They gave a very irresponsible answer without any respect to the longstand customer and they replied that i have to wait for 2 month or more to get back the number...

                        I have recharged my airtel prepaid number twice with rs.1000 and rs.500. The amount has been debited from my bank account and i received message from the bank. But recharge has not been done and the money didn't get added up in the wallet too. Tried contacting airtel customer care number but no use. Really shocked to see so many complaints regarding this.                             I made a complaint to 198 regarding my activation of 51₹ plan for 1 GB night pack via Airtel app.

                            The problem was that each time I'd try to activate the plan on Airtel app via my main account balance which was already 300+₹, it'd fail doing so.

                            The ref. # of it was CONRC[protected]

                            I later called 121 & made the same complaint.

                            The ref. # is CLTNM[protected]

                            I got the message saying that the problem is solved but honest, it hasn't been.

                                      This is not resolved yet. A technician came to my home, checked the phone and
                                      Later left to check the box from where it is routed. It's been 1.5 hrs since he
                                      Left. No idea, where is he?
                                      I tried calling him, but his phone is not getting through.

                                      This is the 3rd technician who is disappearing after coming to my house. It is
                                      Uch a bad service.
                                      I have decided to send a note to our society management to publish this
                                      Horrible experience in our notice board where at least 100 + connections are
                                      Possible.
