I have Airtel 4G connection, my number is [protected]. I purchased this dongal from Kankurgachi branch at Kolkata on 24th March, 2016. At the time of purchase, I was told that the dongal would work perfectly even at Ranchi. But it did not work even a single day. I tried contacting the Airtel office at Ranchi and also at Kolkata, so that any one could help fix the issue. I kept waiting for people to come and resolved this issue. In the meantime, I have got a bill for the same even though I could not use the internet facility. I also asked Airtel office at Ranchi, to exchange the dongal with a new dongal. But they refused as the dongal is bought from Kolkata. I called up Kolkata Airtel office to take the dongal back and deactivate the connection. But they have also refused the same and have told that it is not possible. They also told that I cannot deactivate before 4 months. Why do I keep a connection for 4 months also, when it is not working????? Why are they not willing to refund the money I paid for a dongal that is not working???? I have a bill to pay for a service which I have not used even once. I do not want to pay for this connection as I could not use the same. I have raised several complaints regarding the dongal as the dongal does not get connected but nothing is being done. I tried calling 121, 198 many times but no reponse on my request .I went to airtel store they re-directed me to call 121, 198 again. I am fed up of calling 121, 198 all the time and roaming stores for cancellation. They always redirect me to call 121, 198. This is a horrible service from Airtel for not deactivating my Number [protected] Airtel 4G Dongle.I dont want to end up paying monthly bills as I am not using it. Also, I need a refund for my dongal as it did not work even once. I bought that as the sales person told me repeatedly that it would work everywhere, even at Ranchi. But in the contrary, I contrary I could not use it. Kindly look into the issue and refund me the entire money for the dongal, deactivate the connection. I do not understand, why should I pay loads of money to Airtel for not even using their service?????? Is their no value of money???? Need an action urgently.
