Hi.
i made a request to port my no. from videocon to airtel on 20 April 2016.
according to the rules my no. must have been port in to airtel within one week.
so the expected date was 27 april.
but my no. has not been ported till the date.
furthermore the customer care executive is telling that my no will b3 port out on 30th of April.
i am very frustrated.
pls help.

    Hi,

    Sub: refusal of promise on 4g new connection on airtel no.[protected]

    I purchased one 4g hotspot device from airtel on trial offer for 3 days.

    When the device was not connected for more than 7 days, i had to visit airtel office, only after which the device got connected with a new sim after change of the original number.

    On 2nd day of connection, i communicated to disconnect as i was not satisfied. Despite repeated requests to airtel, the device was not disconnected for quite long due to reason unknown.

    Despite informing me on call back from their system of missed call that their executive will visit my residence and refund the money after collecting the device, no one turned up. Over and above, they have now send me a bill for rs.336.11 with due date 30.04.16 which also is not justified.

    My approach to their customer care, nodal officer and appellate authority did not yield any positive solution only other than lots of communication.

    I could mot provide the documents of communications as there is no provision here. You will understand the magnitude of harassment once you go through the communications.

    It is not merely the issue of money. It is my protest against customer harassment and denial of promise on any offer. I shall be grateful if you kindly do the needful.

      My name is nagendra singh. I had activated night data service in my airtel sim card. But from last 3-4 days it was not working properly. When i opens any website it opens one touch internet portal service. The page was loaded completely even after half an hour. I was getting irritated on this. Kindly do something about that.         On 14th april'16, my account got debited with rs.997 (Bil/[protected]/international roam
        In/airte012581) but i did not got any message. So i called up airtel call centre. They conveyed that service request not registered. The funds will be credited back to my account. 13 days passed but still awaiting for funds to be credited to my account. This looks surprising that website enables customers to do international roaming, funds also taken but no service operated. This way, they get customers funds w/o any service. It is fooling customers and we are helpless as we could not do anything.

          Dear mr. Sunil mittal,

          I am using your broadband connection with landline from last two year 2014 to till date. I am facing the so many problem while using the internet connection most of the time internet speed goes down its working very slow, i also take the plan of 8mbps but never this internet speed show in system from last two months.

          I also logged the so many complaints to your customer care but your engineer visit at our office & check the connection sometime he change the setting in modem and speed was working fine on that time when your engineer visit. After one day gone again same problem face internet speed very slow.

            Call from airtel sales team they told me a good plan but they did wrong commitment with me they told me different plan and they are giving different and i am doing follow-up with customer care through call or mail from last almost two months but they are not resolving my problems and because of this i am facing to much problems but they are not understanding and you all know very well i cant leave my old contact no. And you all also because of this they are doing what they want to do if i don't pay my bills they will disconnect my contact no. So i cant do anything and one more thing in tv i think you all have seen ads of airtel in ads you can see they are showing 4g net in forest, hill area, and every where but real picture is different they cant provide even 3g because i checked and i didn't get even 3g proper in city area so now i want your help my dear friends please share this post because i don't want again they can do fraud with other customers and again and again i am requesting to all please don't go with airtel, even i have contact with nodel officer but he also not helping.

              Airtel is campaigning aggressively for their so called best 4G network, where as the ground reality is that they are not able to provide a decent 3G network in Pune ( All maharashtra).
              For last couple of months their network is completely unstable or gone. 3G network is almost destroyed and 2G is worst. When you keep your cell on 3G only network, you phone will show full signals but you won't receive calls neither you can connect to internet.
              3-4 times complain in registered with customer care, but no resolution. Finally got to know the reason behind this worst service is that for their 3G network they had tie-up with Vodafone and Idea, now they are setting up their own infrastructure for 3G/4G but before they could upgrade their infrastructure, they have discontinued the services from Vodafone and Idea. Now consumer is at losing end, Airtel has not yet upgraded their infra and we are not able to make calls.

              When called customer care they said : "Sir if you are not getting proper services then you are free to go for MNP and chose other network provider"

              Wow !! This company is losing it's customer base willingly and doing nothing.

                Our Wifi has stopped working and when we have complained to Airtel, It was found that there was faulty router and person from Airtel visited our home to change faulty router.
                While configuring router, He has not set the password and not even inform us that the password is not set. However we asked to set the same old password we were using.
                With in Couple of days, I have lost around 25 GB data. We come to know only when we received message for whole data consumption.
                When we called customer care to get password change on 18/04/2016, they have told that Password is not set.

                From 18/04/2016 I am continuously following up Airtel on mails and calls. They are not answering and telling there is no fault of them.

                I am attaching image of my mail in which I asked questions and their reply.

                  I requested for a new broadband connection at 65 UB Jawahar Nagar, Delhi -110007 in August 2015. I got a call from the customer care centre regarding the same. A customer care representative visited on 15th August, 2015 and took away all the necessary documents and ₹1000 as the installation fee. After a few days he said that the connection is not possible in my area and i should ask for the online refund. I called up the customer care centre and told them the whole situation. They told me that the refund ia under process. After 2-3 days i got a call from another airtel representatives saying that they have free ports and connection can be installed. The representative came to the house and took the necessary documents and ₹1000 as the fee. The same happened and the connection couldn't be installed. I have been calling the customer care ever since but nothing has been done. It's been more than 7 months and i haven't got my refund. Please take the necessary measures.

                  I havent received my refund even after talking to the representative. She has switched of her phone. No action has been taken even when i have provide them with all the details including the CEF number and my bank account details.

                      I had bought a postpaid airtel sim card from one point one communications, 339, udyog vihar, gurgaon.

                      The executive took 250 rs from me and gave me a blank sim promising selection of number in 2 hours. He gave me a receipt and went. I have received no calls till now and the phone numbers of the company are not working. I am scared as its a fraud company. I came to know this when i checked the internet. I have lost 250 rs and my personal id proofs.

                        Hi, I am Ragini. I have been living in Pune for the past 3 years. From my past experiences, I can tell that Airtel is going to be the worst choice for the Pune users. Airtel is the most horrible one here. So kindly go for any other network.

                        I have registered several complaints for my problem and I don't even get callback for my problems. My purpose of registering this complaint is to make the info on the below things available on the web everywhere.

                        1. Poor service & bad network coverage. The brand itself is bad in Pune & there should be an awareness created about this.
                        2. Their workers don't give a damn about the customers. To put it simply, they do not work for the money they get paid.
                        3. Your complaints to Airtel are not gonna be of any use. So change your network.
                        4. Airtel is the worst network in Pune. Not really sure about the other places.

                          Hi,

                          I wrote lot of emails to airtel and called them multiple times. I have billing issues which they did not fix. I had to pay Rs 7606 forcefully.

                          Sent emails to nodal as well as appellate but no luck as on appellate there are guys sitting who just do not do anything.

                          People do not document case properly when you call, If you call second time they have no idea what you talking and they start from scratch.

                          Very frustrated now. I really wanted to pay my bill but it should be genuine and they accept that it was system fault but they are not ready to fix now.

                            I saw an offer on the Airtel website for a prepaid 3G recharge Rs. 455 and get 28 days 2.75 GB 3G data (Screenshot available). After the recharge they sent a message mentioning that the recharge is of 21 days and the data given after the recharge is of 2GB 3G data (The offer does not say any terms and conditions) thus I paid for it. This is a day light robbery. They are doing a scam to attract the customer.

                              I have gone to an Airtel Relationship center on Saturday (26/4/2016) since the shop working hours are till 8.00 pm only. I want to change my network connection from postpaid to prepaid. So i have entered the showroom by taking address proof, 2 passport photos, pan card. Now here starts the story.I walked up to an executive and asked that i want to convert from postpaid to prepaid and the answer he gave me was "Sir this was late in the evening and also server was not responding now and you can come on Monday morning".Do they think that Customer is sitting at home without any work and can come at what ever time they say.So i waited and asked another executive regarding transition from postpaid to prepaid and the answer was " we want you bring previous month bill hard copy to serve your request" upon which i asked that you can get it from your side and how would a customer can get that and the answer received was "No we want you bill hard copy at any cost". I then somehow reached to a Xerox center running to get the photocopies by walk and managed to download all the bill copies quickly and again ran to the shop.By now i was sweating like anything.I went to a executive asking i have my bill copy can you please process the request.Now again the wonderful answer i got is "Sir today server is down and we cannot process your request". ok all of my effort for bringing that hard copy went into gutter which in the first place is not mandatory from the information that i received from the Airtel customer care executive. So based upon what rule these people are demanding that hard copy from the customer is what god knows. By that time i control my frustration and came out of the showroom and i have already lost 50% of belief i had on airtel ( i have been using airtel for long ).

                              So with the very little hope i still have on this company i have visited the same showroom again on Monday ( 25/4/2016 ). i visited the showroom at 7.30 pm and it is the fastest time i can reach from office. I entered the showroom and walked up to a guy asking the same question. He referred to someother guy asking about the prepaid simcards and wow, it seems there were no new sim cards and they asked me to come next day morning.I sat at some place waiting to approach some other executive as the answer is not satisfying. Its 7.48 pm and one executive who has told "the server was down " some other day approached me and asked "sir, today also server was down and we cannot take your request ". I was so furious in my mind that i have visited to a relation-ship center to have my request processed but it was turned down for the second time due to bill hard copy issue and server issue .cant a relation-ship center that big cant even have a dedicated zerox machine, then whats the point of maintaining so called relationship with the customer.Are they expecting xerox machines in every home ? I even told that bill hard copy is not mentioned mandate as per the info from customer care executive and i even told that "call center executives" can talk to you guys regarding this thing for which the answer i got was " this was our policy so we are sticking to that to verify the identity of the customer ".so i doubt does a company can't even have techniques to identify its customer except asking the customer to fetch hard copy of the bill or irresponsible people are getting hired who dont know how to behave with a customer.Then i have asked that i want to talk to the manager regarding everything and the answer was " He was leaving the office and cant meet right now and the exact time was 7.53pm " and there still good 7 minutes of time to serve the customer.

                              ok by that time my complete hope on airtel customer service was killed.

                              What even if i rush to the showroom 3rd time and get turned down for the same reason.

                              Think about it Airtel.

                              You can see the google reviews of this particular showroom and its very pathetic.Its a crucial area.people are disgusted about this showroom and the service from the airtel executives they are giving here. They are not making the brand but breaking the brand.

                              Please go through all the reviews and get to know more about this showroom and level of quality it has towards its customers.

It being same since three days. This worst Airtel company don't even care to respond to the complaint. Now my decision is to disconnect airtel DTH connection. I request my friends don't go for Airtel DTH connection. Charges are high but no no responsibility towards customer problems. They increase prices but provide poor service.Please take action against this big but not customer oriented company.
