I recharged my airtel mobile no [protected] with rate cutter plan of 1.2 paise per 2 sec on jan 23 with 6 months validity. But i observed it is not applied in recent calls and extra charges are taken. I called the customer care and they took the complaint(complaint ref no CBNRV[protected]) and said the plan was discontinued from april 20 due to some technical issue and will be resolved. When i asked about the the reversal of extra charges charged from april 20, they said it is not guaranteed. Please look into this complaint and reverse the charges and restore the plan. Thanks.

    Airtel has numerous upgraded plans to deceive consumers by depicting incorrect data usage in broadband. Once consumer has exhausted his data usage, he is forced to buy to smart bytes and pay extra amount.

    This is a big scam of hundreds of crores going on and company on one side is making money from consumers and spending lavishly on ads and paying 4g girl.

    This all bull going on.

    Please don't buy upgraded plans offered by them and check data usage from time to time.

    I have taken prepaid mobile data package. My phone's main account keeps getting charged for internet usage.
    Cannot find any customer care number of Airtel. they never pick up and the phone keeps getting redirected.

      I reside in abbaiah reddy layout in kaggadasapura. I requested for a new broadband connection from airtel on 20th april 2016. An airtel person came and collected the documents and installation fees confirming connection is possible and will be done within 3 days. And yesterday on may1st i got a message from airtel after multiple lines of followup with airtel customer care and sales service team, saying your new airtel fixedline no: [protected] could not be activated and money will be refunded. Now need to wait for so many days to get the refund.
      Airtel people : 2 questions for you..
      1) when you already know new connections are not possible in the area, why are you wasting customer's time, effort by collecting documents and money. You can just inform prior.
      2) when are the new ports going to be assigned and connections made available in the locality.

      Dear Airtel,

      Please stop giving the same routine answer to everyone and agree that your service is poor.

      It has been a month(Applied on 02Jun16) I submitted my documents and paid Rs.1000 for the Broadband connection in Abbaiah Reddy Layout..

      I urge you to stop giving wrong information saying we are working in it.. There will a limit for everything..

      If you are working since a month, let me know the progress of whats happening (Coz you claim your network is open and transparent)..

      The Airtel representative says we have installed an overhead cable twice but the locals have cut the cable..
      My question - 1) Why are the locals against it
      2) How many MONTHS do you want to resolve this if it is the actual issue.

      Shame on Mr. Veersheety (Manager) who is handling this job in Abbaiah Reddy Layout.. He stopped answering my calls since 3 weeks after continuos attempts from me to reach him.

      I have requested for airtel broadband connection on November 7 2016 in Abbaiah Reddy Layout. They have been saying since then they are working on upgradation and that they will call once the connections are available. How many more months do you want for upgradation as it has been almost a year now since the first concern has been raised? And if you cannot provide connection in the area then remove all your banners from the area.

        My daughter gets frequent vexatious calls from [protected] from unknown who says hello when she lifts the call and when we lift the call on her behalf there will be no voice. When we ring up this number no body lifts. When i searched in truecaller the number is identified as home.

        Please register the complaint and do the needful to prevent further calls. The said unknown user has the knack of changing numbers also. Anyway, presently this is the complaint against [protected].

        Video vogue weekly and superstore has been activated by company without my permission, then I call to customer care and they says me that yourespond the message. How can any service can be activated only with single touch without giving any confirmation message?

          Airtel dth service is the worst dth. service I have ever seen, and its Costumer care ? O God what the numbers and what the exeacutives the worst customer care .
          Airtel 3g is bed service becoz i have all 3g pack recharge but airtel 3g network not acces in my cell phone i m complain to airtel customer care that airtel customer saying get ans me ur hand set prblem but i m getting ans all 3 g networks is used properly b
          Some crap service like Hot Models got activated in my number without my knowledge or permission. Complained to the Airtel customer care but they in turn accused me that I must have activated the service myself and they refused to refund my money. I asked again and again but they gave some faulty excuse.

              Dear concern,

              This is to inform you that, i am facing the problem of sms service. I am not getting any message from any number. I have lodged complaints many times starting from 10th of april 2016. I unable to pay any statuary payment/ credit card payments etc. Due to non receiving of otp.

              I have lodge complaints many times but when i call and ask the status of complaint, every time i got a revert that complaint has resolved. How come the complaint has resolved without solving my problem?

              Due to non reviving any sms, i am unable to pay any dues to the govt or any payment towards credit card or emi. The same also affect my cibil score and late payment charges towards the due. You people are only responsible for the same.

              I am filling a case against the airtel that i am unable to pay any statutory payments, credit card payments and emi against bank loan due to the airtel. Airtel company is responsible for all the penalties and late payment charges towards any due towards the bank and govt.

              I have done all the formalities which was told by the concern person. I have swap the sim card, i have enter the sim into another mobile but the problem still not resolved.

                I am to hereby submit that I am having a Airtel prepaid number ([protected]) for last 4 years and I have not faced any major issue in the past. Recently a major issue has happened while getting the data pack recharged. I got data pack recharge on 30.03.2016 for Rs.175/- and again on 26.04.2015 for Rs.175/-. While recharging the 2nd time from Airtel store at vashi, it was told that unused data of around 800 MB will be carried forward. However, on recharge the same has not been carried forward .

                  I was being committed by airtel that my customer delight program - "airtel
                  Surprise"! Which i was being offer for five months will get renewed just by making a call to the customer service but i was being confirmed from one of your executive that airtel has made a wrong commitment. Now what's the use of such service where the customer is retained by making wrong commitment, i literally have waited my energy and money just to stay with airtel.

                  I have even asked to give more data as the token of retention but your executive denied last time but still i remained your customer.

                    My airtel sim got deactivated last Wednesday, 27th april, 2016.
                    I went to the shop from where I purchased that sim, they told me it is not active in the system, I recharged it every third day, it was being used every single hour, incoming as well as outgoing. Airtel vendors have mailed to even higher authorities but still I haven't received even a single information of why it got deactivated . I want a valid reason, it is a serious issue and I will file a case. To stop someone's number without a valid reason is illegal.

                      I recently shifted to kundalahalli gate and I am facing a severe problem with fluctuating signal and no network with Airtel in my Apartment.
                      Signal mostly drops and gives no signal when I enter to my apartment #123 Sri Lakshmi Devi apt.
                      Please look into the issue and resolve it else your valuable customers near Kundalahalli gate will have no option but to port to another network.

                            Hi sir/madam,

                            I complain about landline issue on 28/04/2016.
                            Complaint ref no. 67189796.

                            Till now the problem is not resolved.

                            Everytime when i was called to customer care, the executive saying that we are updating the status. Our technician will resolve the issue by today evening or by tomorrow morning.

                            Till 4evenings and 3 mornings were gone but not technician came and problem not resolved.

                            When i was ask him to transfer my call to manager, he saying that manager was busy in calls.

                            Please help me to out of this issue.

                              Poor service of Airtel Dth along with worst customer service . The customer care executive was shouting and was so rude while taking complaint . I don't know why Airtel has kept the customer service, I guess just to make fool of people . Shivani the executive disconnected the phone in middle of the conversation and Airtel should be banned to do business if they can not maintain it in India . Please ask some one to pick that box from I home as I will get Tata Sky on immediate basis, -Pawan Thakur -[protected], called at 2:43around

                                Sir i am sanjoy from orissa i recharge my airtel mobile no [protected] online on 30/04/2016 via my airtel app of rs100/ from my bank of india debit card having transection id[protected] bank statement no-medr/www.Airtel.I/924575/ and my complain no in airtel customer care is conrc [protected] money has been deducted from my account but recharge is not sucessful when i contact the customer care on 01/05/2016 he is misbehaving me and thretening me you do what ever you like to do money will not refunded to you as you know i am a poor disable person please help me to give justice to me.

                                Hi, Feeling sorry after reading your problem. Why don’t you try a different app to get your recharge done. I used to face same problems when I was using some of these unreliable websites for my recharges. My money used to be debited from my Bank account and then they didn’t use to refund it. Bill Bachao is by far the most decent app I have used. I Haven’t faced much problem after switching to it.                                   Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                  I had procured an Airtel 4G broadband connection with number [protected]. I had it installed in my residence in Bhakti Park, Wadala. From the very first week the connectivity was poor to non-existent. We had made multiple complaints to Airtel, but the problem was not fixed apart from being asked to reset the modem every time! I was being charged monthly rental and paying it.

                                  After repeated attempts to get it fixed, I finally told the Aitel executive that I shall not pay the rental, till my connectivity issue is properly addressed. I was promised in that call that rental for the months when my modem was not receiving any signal, will be reversed and the issue will be sorted. However nothing was done.

                                  After this, I started getting collection calls. Finally, frustrated with the quality of service and utter apathy of Airtel towards a customer, I wanted to get rid of it once and for all. I paid my outstanding dues of nearly Rs 4000 in March and asked Airtel to disconnect my account.
                                  To my surprise, even after getting a confirmation that my connection will be disconnected I have received a bill of Rs 1035 this month.

                                  I wanted to bring to your notice this appalling service and complete indifference of Airtel customer service.

                                  Your team is bad in terms of responding towards resolving customer issues but on the contrary, super efficient in reducing the speed of the network or making collection calls. How long will you bully and bulldoze the customer and treat them like dirt? How long will you mislead & cheat the customer by showing advertisements on TV that your network even works in the back of beyond when in fact it does not even work in Mumbai? Where is the accountability? Why should I pay this bill when I have switched off my modem from the time Ive been told it has been disconnected.

                                  I do not have time for this but now you have pushed me as a customer to do my best to take it up with regulators/ regulatory board and also a customer propagate. I promise to tell my friends and colleagues and also through social media about my harrowing experience.

                                    On 2nd April I have changed the present plan to Rs 399/-, I was on roaming for the earlier period for which the payment was already done. I wish to know on what basis the present bill is raised. Based on your satisfactory reply only I will be able to pay the present bill as I have not fully used the present Rs 399/- coverage.

                                      Facing network issue from last one year at my home and called customer care number of time but no resolution. Every time I get to know that request has been forwarded to the network team and resolution time cannot be confirmed. Cherry on the cake is that every time i call to follow up regarding my previous complaint they dont find the data in their system. The service is too pathetic and I strongly don't recommend airtel.

                                        I took a airtel postpaid connection on 27/04/2016. Today my no. Done with successful address verification and i got the message for the same. But suddenly outgoing call facility suspension started from 10pm today. I called customer care for help and the person who received my call told me that his name is rahul. When i explained the problem he told that his name is robin and they cannot help me as my address verification got rejected. Then i called the person who came to my house for address verification and he told me for my address it was a successful one and he updated all the things by afternoon itself. Then again i called customer care for help but again they told me to submit the documents again to the airtel shop. I can only contact them on monday before that it is not possible as the shop will be closed on sunday.

                                        I am staying alone and needed the sim card urgent basis. But presently i am totally helpless and can't able to call anyone of my friends and family in urgency also. No one is helping me, all are just passing the ball from here and there. If this would be the situation of india's most leading telecom company then no words to say. After this bitter experience i am not going to take airtel connection anymore and won't recommend it to anyone.
