Airtell representatives Mr Rajendran whose cell no [protected] and Mr naresh ([protected]), they have cheated me. I paid for HD DTH, but they installed SDDTH. Now after making so many complaints they installed HD ..but still fro day one it is not working..what the hell these people.I am getting irritated because of the airtell representatives.I will make FIR in police...

    Dear executive head,
    My airtel number is [protected].
    Recently I recharged 200MB data pack.
    Fortunately I couldn't use my data as it was stolen not only data MB but also my main balance of Rs. 50.
    After complaining several times to customer care I got back my rupees but not the MB.
    After that I wasn't calling to anyone and my balance was Rs 248.
    Yesterday I made one call and checked my balance and found rs. 233.
    I immediately called to customer care but they trying to convince me different way.
    I am not satisfied at all.
    They always steal by balance and now I hardly recharge instead of thousands I recharge with two hundred or fifty even.
    Please stop stealing my balance.

    I am facing this problem from last so many years.
    I complain and get my balance back but there is always deductions of small amount like rs 5 or rs 10 every day sometimes weekly.
    I am using this number since 2003/4.

      Hi,

      I've been using this number for quite a long time. Few days back when I checked my account balance, it was ₹213, and today I found it ₹49. I'm shocked seeing such a deduction, so I called customer care to check what is going on. They said it got deducted because I used internet without data package. But that is not possible because that sim is being used in a basic phone of Nokia which does not has internet facility. They gave me a number to verify this by calling 12181. When I called this number it says I've never used internet. I again calleg customer care but they are stuck on their point that it's deducted due to internet.

      Please help.

        Hi,

        I took my new AIRTEL 4G connection from Nehru Place DSA [Agent : Nitesh] on 13th December, 2015. However, the number got activated after 1 week when I follow up this with the Airtel Store, South Ex Part I and Nitesh. Later on, when I tried to get the DOUBLE DATA OFFER as mentioned on my phone box cartoon [PFA the picture of the phone box], I came to know that I should have 4G data booster pack with myPlan, so I visited the South Ex Store once again and get my plan changed to ₹149 myPlan along with ₹450 2GB 4G DATA BOOSTER from ₹249 myPlan. My real ordeal starts from here, after regularly visiting the store till 06/01/2016, the issue was not solved completely. I wasn't able to use data on my phone since 28/12/15 and due to this I wasn't able to get the benefit of the DOUBLE DATA OFFER. Now whom should I blame - me as I believed in AIRTEL 4G or AIRTEL.

        Let me help you with the timeline:
        12/12/2015 – Visited the Nehru Place and purchase a new connection ([protected]), however, the executive didn’t have the SIM card so visited the next day again.
        13/12/2015 – Shared documents and received the SIM card.
        22/12/2015 – After waiting for almost one week and contacting Nitesh and South Ex store, finally, the connection gets activated on 22/12/2015.
        27/12/2015 – I contacted the 198 and asked for the clarification in regards to the Double Data offer and got the detailed information.
        28/12/2015 - I visited d South Ex store and request for changing my plan with a DOUBLE DATA OFFER compatible plan & store executive told me it would be completed in 4 hours, so I waited for the same.
        29/12/2015 - Nothing happened and I patiently waited.
        30/12/2015 - I called 198 and enquire about my plan change request but they told me there is no request and when I explain them they said they will reprocess my request and after sometime I send a text BP TO 121 and I got a reply with my new plan details but to my surprise I am not able to access DATA. I again called 198 and register my complaint and then waited for whole day
        31/12/2015 - Again visited the store & the executive told me that he has send a mail to the backend and it will be resolved in next 4 hours...so I waited
        01/01/2016 - Again contacted 198 & same response
        02/01/2016 - Again contacted 198 & same response
        03/01/2016 - Again contacted 198 & same response
        04/01/2016 - Again contacted 198 & same response...so visited d south ex store and discuss this store specialist Anuj and he send a mail to back-end and ask me to contact him next day if the data issue is not resolved (which I appreciate as he took d ownership of the case)
        05/01/2016 - So I called him on his phone and he said the issue is solved now and I just need to swap your SIM CARD which I did on d same day...Now data is working however I AM NOT GETTING 4G AT ALL EVEN IN PLACES WHERE I WAS GEETING IT WITH MY ORIGINAL PLAN
        06/01/2016 – Again I requested for a new SIM card and get it activated.

        Since then I am only getting 2G and sometime 3G.

        These are the complaint numbers which I noted and keep safe with me, however, you can get the record my contact with your Customer service.

        I have also posted the complaint on your Facebook page, however, you people just doing nothing.
        I WANT TO GET 4G AS WELL AS THE DOUBLE DATA OFFER AS I AM PAYING FOR THE SAME. APART FROM THIS I ALSO WANT THE FULL REVERSAL OF THE BILL CHARGED ON MY ACCOUNT DUE TO NON AVAILBILITY OF DATA SERVICE AS YOU CAN UDGE FROM MY USAGE.

        I have already escalated this issue with your Nodal office on 27th January, 2016 but still the issue is being just dragged on since the starting of this connection.

        I have patiently waited for the issue to get resolved and then on:

        19/02/2016 – I dialled 198 and even spoken with one of your supervisor who promised that the tariff will be effective on your account correctly in next hours or by today midnight (00:00:00).

        However, I patiently waited till Monday (22/02/2016) but the correct plan was not activated. So,

        22/02/2016 – I again dialled 198 and spoken to another executive and she investigated the issue and confirmed me that two tariff was active on my account (₹299.00 [Initial Plan] and ₹599.00 [₹149.00 {New Plan} + ₹450.00 {2GB 4G Booster Pack}]) WHICH I ALREADY KNEW SINCE THE BEGINNING, and said that the issue will be resolved in next 72 hours or else the correct tariff will be effective from next bill cycle.

        So, I waited to get the 72 hours window to get completed and then on

        27/02/2016 – I again contacted the 198 and got the same response that the issue will be resolved in next 72 hours which now I am not ready to accept.

        I WANT TO GET 4G AS WELL AS THE DOUBLE DATA OFFER FOR SIX MONTHS AS PER THE OFFER STARTING FROM NEXT BILL CYCLE SINCE I AM PAYING FOR THE SAME. APART FROM THIS I ALSO WANT THE FULL REVERSAL OF THE BILL CHARGED ON MY ACCOUNT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS CONNECTION DUE TO NON AVAILBILITY OF SERVICE AS YOU CAN GUDGE FROM MY USAGE.

          Dear Sir,
          Bharti Airtel has billing and data tracking frauds within the system and I have proof of the same.
          My bill cycle is from 26th of every month and quota given to me is 35GB of data. On 24th Dec, I left for a vacation and returned on 29th Dec, all electricity connections were switched from main panel and on 27th morning Airtel sent me a mail saying that 80% of your data has been consumed, whereas my modem was switched off and I was on a vacation.
          If you track the data consumption on a daily basis, it shows 67% data consumed in 6 hours which is impossible as per the byte transfer rate at 4MBPS speed.
          Bharti basically do all this fraud to the customers and due to twicking in their systems of tracking data, they show it as exhausted and reduce the speed of the internet to 512 KBPS, customer is habitual of working in a high speed environment so they ask for urgrading smartbytes fro customer care. These customer care does not have authorization to upgrade or add more bytes since there is a OTP required to activate it, however these people will tell customers that after sometime your speed will become fast and they charge immediately on the next month bill.
          Airtel is forcing customers like us to pay more by twicking the data consumption in their systems because they know the customer has a paying capacity upto Rs 2000 per month.

          I am being harrassed by Airtel and have enough communication and data to prove them wrong and fraudulent. I have email communication with top Airtel officials who have conveniently ignored my issues and complaints.

          I would request consumer complaint forum to take this complaint in public interest as many of the consumers are facing these data consumption issues in Delhi/NCR.

            I was unable to receive any sms apart for airtel.By this I was unable to get my OTP to pay my bills. I will get penalties for late payments. who's gonna take responsibility for this.Is it mself or the company.

              i have contacted so many times via your email "121.[protected]@airtel.com" regarding this issue but i have not received any emails from your side .
              once i got reply but it said me to ignore the message which i got from 121
              Why should ignore the sms i received . if i got the sms from some unknown number i can ignore it but why should i ignore it if it came from 121 . you guys keep sending fake sms to customers and just tell them to ignore it.
              Airtel keep doing it again and again and you guys cheat the customer and i intend to take this issue to the consumer fourm/cout if it is not sorted out .
              as you can see in the below screenshot the first sms came on sunday 21/02/16 and the second came on Tuesday 23/02/16 and even after complaining about it in 198 on Thursday 25/2/16 the same day i got 2 same sms back to back, i don't know why you guys keeps doing it to me .
              as you can see in the messages which i got it mentions 1495mb data packs has been activated on my mobile no. but i didn't get any data balance as said in the sms.
              As you can see in the screenshot i got 4 different sms about i was credited 1495 mb which i didn't actually get as airtel cheated me.
              I request to credit the mentioned data in sms and i shouldn't receive any more sms like this in the future.
              you guys have spoiled my peace of mind and my time and i never got proper replies when i mailed to "121.[protected]@airtel.com" and even called 121, 198. they just say we'll contact you within 24hrs and they don't
              i have enough proofs to proceed to consumer court if this issue is not settled by crediting the data.

                    This is regarding the multiple MNP & CUG corporate connections for my hospital, where airtel has failed to do so couple number of times in the past and the story continues since first week of January and now it is almost 2 months where airtel has failed to provide me with the new connections. this is simply unfair for the customer to bear the loss & the mental harassment caused to me by repetitively asking for the same thing again and again & even providing the port codes many number of times to the company since almost 2 months.

                      My airtel prepaid no. is [protected]. Of late my calls are not getting connected properly as well as my call receiver is complaining about lack of clarity in the voice. I checked with service centre for any hardware issues, but there are none. Call clarity is not there because of improper bandwidth. Since airtel launched 4G with pomp, call quality got effected. Please help resolve this issue for better service.

                        Last three months I am facing a problem with airtel set top box however airtel is unable to fix.                               I have a complain against customer care executive from whom I hadn't received the proper information regarding the Rs.49 Plan. On 23 Jan, I called executive (Her) to disconnect my active 5GB 4G data plan but she insisted me to keep my Airtel number active just for 49 Rupees. She told I can't use internet if keep this plan except keeping my airtel number active. She told me even if I keep my 4G Hotspot ON, internet doesn't work after activation of 49 Rupees plan.

                              I agreed with her for this Rs.49 plan and told her to deactivate all the other plans related to internet.but yesterday I received a bill of Rs. 1030 to my account.

                                This is to bring to your notice that the data usage of my Airtel dongle [protected] had reached its FUP limit of 10 GB of 4G on the afternoon of 24 Feb 2016 for that month's cycle.

                                Next cycle has started from 26 Feb 2016 00:00 Hrs.

                                As per the terms and conditions, after the FUP limit is reached, the customer is entitled to "UNLIMITED" internet access "AT LOWER SPEED".

                                But, in my case I was being "HIJACKED" only to one.airtel.in/postpaid.html which had only the "COMMAND" "Call 121 to upgrade your data plan" irrespective of whatever URL I typed in my browser.

                                Here I don't understand what is meant by unlimited internet access at lower speed.

                                Also this has led to loss of around two days of my productivity which is predominantly dependent on internet.

                                I felt being acutely betrayed and cheated.

                                This makes me deeply regret for choosing Airtel over many ISPs who doesn't make any tall claims. This forces me by all means to switch over to an ISP that stays true to its promise.

                                      I have an Airtel prepaid number since last 8 years. Recently I moved from Kolkata to Gurgaon on 10th Feb. On 12th Feb, I visited Airtel Store in Vyapar Kendra, Sushant Lok in Gurgaon. I submitted all necessary documents and asked to pay 200 INR. I was assured that the porting would be done within 7 working days and I should be inserting new sim once old sim loses network connectivity.
                                      On 16th Feb, I got one sms that local reference validation has been completed. Since then I have been following up several times each day with the store but they have just been beating around the bush and not giving me a concrete update on the porting request.
                                      On 23rd Feb, I got another sms that documents are now being forwarded to Bharti Airtel. This is just not acceptable. 23rd Feb is the 7th Working day and ideally my porting request should have been completed by that day.
                                      So, I again started chasing the local Airtel store guys like a mad dog. For 2 days they kept on telling me that they will give me an update.
                                      Now today on the 11th working day, am being informed that my porting request has been cancelled. The Airtel store guys doesnt even know the reason for the same and just to know the reason I have to wait till tomorrow 11am.

                                        I'm using airtel for more than 5 years. In 2015 i changed it to postpaid. On June 2015 i requested airtel executive to add a particular number for free which is called ADDON PACK at 99 but they didn't do it. Because of their negligence i paid extra for about 7 months 8. On January 2016 i found that the number was not added and I’m charged Rs.99 for the pack and also i have charged for the calls i have made to the particular number. From Jan 2016 i made a complaint in customer care and then on Nodal officer and finally to Appellate Authority. This Nodel team gave me an amount of 165+ taxes; i never ask for the money of their choice I’m asking the money which i was charged wrongly and paid for it. Then comes Appellate Authority people, these people are very smart they accepted their negligence for that they will make a waiver for 3 months charge first and then it came to 1000+ taxes. They accept their mistake but they are not ready to pay the actual amount. At last they disconnected my outgoings. I clearly mentioned them in call and mail that only if they finish the issues I’ll pay my bill. When i call customer care for outgoing issues they came to know my issues even after that they are asking me to pay part amount of bill. These people never concern for customer they all need money. I never asked for their money I’m asking my money which i paid and going to pay. Because of their negligence they will give me 3 months waver and i should bear rest 4 months for using their service.

                                        On feb 25 2016, 400 amount got credited and also received a message that billing issues resolved. This is very disgusting. These people people think that the customer are longing for company money. I'm tired of complaining to Air tel Appellate team. Twice my outgoing got disconnected, i clearly mentioned that i'll pay my dues only after they resolve the problem.

                                        1.I need my 7 months waver
                                        2.Twice my outgoing got disconnected they should respond for the inconvenience caused to me
                                        3.Everyday i get a call from many people from airtel but issues was not cleared. Need clear explanation.
                                        4.When i make a first call every day in the morning recorded voice irritates and i think even that calls was charged. Need clarification
                                        5.They thing customer not even worth for a paisa, when they file a complaint these people give some amount so that they can hide the mistakes done by them
                                        6.Amount credited 165+taxes make me as I’m longing for their money. This issue makes my self-respect down.
                                        7.The people whomever talked with me regarding this issue should send me official mail stating they won't make this sort of mistake next time to any customer.
                                        8.I never want single paisa from them but they should pay for their negligence and they should a sum of 20k to any non-profit organization without any tax benefits. This is for the inconvenience caused to me they should pay to any non-profit organization.
