    I ported to airtel from vodafone. After i got my no. ported out from vodafone and tried to use airtel, the new airtel sim didnt work. They took 1 day and asked me to submit documentatiom again. Next day they told me the address verification got cancelled and gave me third sim and asked me to submit the documents again. Then the next day the agent calls me and tells me dial 59059 for address verification and it will be active.
    The sim got activated only for outgoing calls and not incoming calls and messages.
    I have been complaining the customer care since 3 days and they are just saying technical issue and they are not ablr to resolve it. After 6 days of this mess when i complain to the zonal region of airtel they say we need 3 more days.
    The no. 1 network claiming company is just no. 1 in not even providing basic service like incoming calls.
    Worst network possible .
    Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    How many days would you need to activate a sim correctly? Its already a Week since i ported out from vodafone to airtel and i still dont see any resolution on it.
    Do you guys have any idea how much loss i face due to this issue.

      Hi, My Mobile Number([protected], Munirajamma), Around 1.14PM today, 115/- transferred into someother mobile([protected])(unknown person to me) . I spoke to custome excitives couple of times with CBDVC[protected] and CBDVC[protected] ids, I did not get proper response from customer service. Please correct it and please make from proper proff from my mobile before money mobile transfers.

        From past 3 months i am raising complaint for my high bill i have asked for an explanation of high bill but no proper response was given by airtel and with out my confirmation my plan was changed from CUG to infinfty and today i got an bill of 9k, when i called customer care to ask the explanation they said its from previous plan.'which is pathetic, I need an justic for misleading me.

          As per the service provider promise connection should have been connected by 72 hrs. but it's not connected till 144 hrs. There is no proper response from service provider. Everytime answer is it will be done by next 24 hrs. I am totally harassed.

          Very sorry to say but still there is no solution i got. Customer care of Airte is not at all doing any follow up. Whenever I called, they reply to call me back in next 24hrs. But never ever I got call from them. Very surprised to look at the professionalism of airtel. I will share this feedback of mine to all my friends and family so that no one should suffer like me.

          It's been 11days i am waiting now for connection and no one does not bother to give service. If you are not giving service at least return my money. Extremely poor gesture.

            Hi,

            I am using Airtel postpaid mobile connection along with 3G data services with Mobile number ([protected]) and Relationship number ([protected]).

            It has been more than 15 days, I am unable to use my data services on my phone. During this period I have raised 3 complaints regarding the same and everytime, I have received TAT of 72 hours for resolution but no luck.

            Today I spoke to a customer service executive named Mr. Taha Ansari, he again insisted me to register a complaint, but I didn't agreed and asked for immediate resolution. He kept me on hold for 13 minutes and eventually came with o solution. When I asked for transferring calll to his supervisor, he again kept me on hold and came with an excuse that his supervisors are busy on other calls and hence cant attend my call. I again insisted, then he disconnected the call without taking my complaint or providing me with a final solution.

            I have also registered complaint at Airtel gallary and also changed my SIM card as suggested by Airtel executives but all in vain. Still same problem persists.

            Its a pathetic piece of service from Airtel and I would like to put it on this forum, so that Airtel can be held responsible for not providing me adequate services.

            For all this period, I would ask Airtel to waive my bill and pay me a compensation of Rs.10000 to make up for the losses I have incurred due to no data connectivity.

              I have paid 6th months amount as advance for airtel broadband and got connection on 17th it's worked for 2hrs after that it never worked till now. Customer care ppl kept on telling every day today is the ETA and without my knowledge they have prolonged ticket closed date by 28/02/2016 ref no 64721240 any no resolution yet pleqse help

                Hi,

                I have raised a ticket related to un-availability of Airtel Broadband connection at my premises from 17th Feb.

                THIS ISSUE IS STILL not resolved. I always get the same answer saying "Our backend will get back to you". i have not got even a single call back from Airtel.

                This issue is severely affecting my work.

                  " I am doing 3G recharge on my number.I live in Kankroli (Dist. rajsamand-313324) in Rajasthan. I am using Lumia-720 handset. 90% of the time I only get 2G (E signal), rarely I get 3G.I have selected 3G in my mobile and there is no issue in the handset.Your 3G services are pathetic and waste of money. "

                  This was the complaint (Complaint reference number - PR[protected] i submitted to airtel on 3-feb-2016 10:06am and without contacting me they closed this complaint on 03-feb-2016 10:29am.

                    Airtel deducted balance of 47 rs and 30 rs of advance talktime due to usage of internet inspite of net pack already working on my number. They returned 47 rs on my complain but afterward deducted 34 rs due to advance talktime but the deduction of advance talktime was also due to problem in their service and customer service was also not good with their service and gesture of language.

                      I have received my last bill for the Airtel account [protected]. Since I've moved out of India and had told airtel also the same. The only way for me to pay the last bill is online. However, Airtel is insisting that I make the payment through check only. Several tweets and facebook queries made have not provided any resolution yet. It's very frustrating that a large organization like Airtel still manual process to pay the last bills. How is a person who moved out of India supposed to make payments, if online channel is not available.

                      I request Airtel to provide resolution to my issue ASAP. My email is registered with the landline number and Airtel can respond to it

                        I am using prepaid AIRTEl ([protected]) with last 10 years old.. Suddenly out going and incoming calls including messages are barred mentioning due to non submit document.. But right now today I submit req. Document Location cannot place aurangabad...also I called 198 at least a dozen times.. They told there is no any record our system visit Airtel store from their side.. I approached AIRTEl store at cannot place aurangabad.. One of them told document related issues... I submitted all required doc freshly on spot.. They take new sim card promised will be OK by 3 days.. KINDLY Reactivation my new sim becouse my all business by my mobile number So for...

                          I recharge mobile by airtel app two times on 17.1.16 and on 2.2.16 for 3g recharge as i apply code APP250 for extra 250 mb 3G data both times. both times i get sms for extra 250 mb 3G data but i dint get extra data. i complaint many times to airtel customer care but they always says that they reply after some times. but till now their is no positive response. please help me.

                            Im currently using 6 Aircel Postpaid connections. Im planned to change those 6 connections to airtel postpaid. I submitted all the necessary documents to Mr. Ranjith at Irunkattukottai Airtel Outlet. But no response from him. He often switch off his mobile, not attending my call. Pls take necessary steps to solve my issue.

                              Dear SIr,

                              With using MNP I have port out my number [protected] from Vodafone Operator to AIrtel and the same has been done on 17.02.2016 at 00.40 AM but when I have inserted my new Airtel SIM card into my phone the new SIM card has been activated only for outgoing calls and it was not working for incoming calls and incoming & outgoing messages. So i have spoken up with 121 Airtel Customer Care on 17.02.2016 at 11.30 AM and they told me "your SIM card not showing in our system due to SIM card damaged or any other technical issue so go for new SIM card at Airtel office. So for the same I went to Airtel Office at Geeta Bhawan Square and they have checked what is the actual technical issue and they captured the same.

                              Actually DSC Agent has issued me wrong SIM having H3 category which is not technically right for my number [protected] series instead of that they should have issued H1 category SIM Card, so for the same I have talked with DSC agent who issued me SIM card earlier then DSC agent issued me new SIM card H1 category on 18.02.2016 and they shot an email for activation.

                              But till the time my new SIM card not activated I am unable to attend any business call from our valued clients.

                              its already 4 days over and still my problem my not sort out by company.

                                I am using prepaid AIRTEl which has been ported from post paid for past two years.. Suddenly out going and incoming calls including messages are barred mentioning due to non pay of bill.. But 4g is active. I called 198 at least a dozen times.. They told there is no such prob from their side.. I approached AIRTEl store at three different places in Chandigarh and punjab.. One of them told document related issues... I submitted all required doc freshly on spot.. They promised will be OK by 2 hrs.. The other told to pay me 661/- as its outstanding due.. I paid it on spot.. she gave 8hrs time.. So for nothing happen.. It's now 6 day.. And this is my official number.. Extreme introlatrenc.. Worst to guidance and customer support from AIRTEl.

                                    I am disgusted with your cheating service and I am moving away . When I wrote this mail on 17Feb16, I had 4 GB data balance in my no [protected] which I wanted to maintain ... hence I was regularly recharging for 28 days with 375 MB...I switched over to online recharge mode .. Since I was not sure that while recharging my data balance will be protected or not, I wrote a mail which you promised to reply with 2 hours on 17th .. My 28 days of last recharge got over on 19th and with auto renewal, I lost my balance . If you would have replied as promised, I would have opted out of the Autorenewal and manually recharged on 19th to protect my data balance ..

                                    But that's your company policy to cheat and not to respond .

                                    I am AGM, Finance with Air India and I am feeling deceived and cheated . Besides, moving away from you as customer, I would take this to various complaint boards and to social circle so that more and more people are aware how you cheat customers .

                                    If really want retain your customer, I want my data balance back as you have not responded in time for which I can not be punished .

                                    Else, If this kind of service continues, the conscious customers like me would give you thumbs down and you would slowly cease to exist in the market .

                                    For me 4 GB data is not important ... but the feeling of being deceived is enormous.

                                    I today got a phone call but if my data is not given back I am going to take to regulatory authorities
                                    No decisions, no resolution, no reply .. Cheating continues ..

                                    Most of the website address for address redressal are bogus as mails bounce back.

                                    I am learning how the Airtel is cheating everyday !

                                    I am gathering proof to take a long fight through authorities.
                                    Even after one month no resolution, I can not get refund, If I do MNP, I loose my Rs 972 ..I can not use it to fund my Airtel Money ..

                                      I have been using Airtel 4G services for some year now; I have an Airtel 4G router (by Huawei).

                                      For years I have survived with Airtel 4G services & at some point in time I just reached the limit. Their stupid, unreliable, useless service just got me on edge now.

                                      Airtel is selling 3G in name for 4G, at sometimes even that don't work.
                                      Someday it doesn't catch signals, Sometime its server problem, or heavy traffic, blah blah blah.

                                      I contacted Customer Care so many times, every time they replied they will send their engineer, they will look into my problem (which they never did) or they will try fix it from the backend & other excuses.

                                      In a year for only one time they ever sent an engineer who just told us that the router is fine it just had signal problem which he fixed -_- but still no change in speed then after trying for a while he told us that our router will only operate on this speed…… Really what the hell & thx for your visit!!!

                                      So after being feed up by them I decided to discontinue from their services 15-20 days back from today, I applied to discontinue the services.

                                      Now they want me on pay them 5200 INR( my monthly bill skyrocketed to 3300 INR from 04-Nov 2015 to 04-Dec-2015), my current plan only costs 1500 INR & I contacted the customer support they said I have to pay this bill & didn't told clear reason for demanding this much sum of money. They even said they will shut the 4G connection down it. What I pay them for?
                                      1. Poor Service.
                                      2. Cheating (3G speed for 4G name).
                                      3. Poor Customer Care.

                                      I need this issue fixed & I need a valid reason to pay this much bill to them.

                                        Threaten with Legal notice for non-payment of bill

                                        Respected Sir,

                                        I wish to raise a complaint of a legal notice sent by Bharati Airtel for non-payment of bills in spite of repeatedly telling to cancel the SIM provided which they claim we have used the same. A service which was not activated at all.
                                        They went back on the promise of switching from post-paid to prepaid 2 times and that prompted us to cancel the SIM.

                                        Now they are threatening my Wife who is staying alone with a kid, with calls and legal notice to pay which is like coercing forcefully to pay on services not rendered, with a bill of Rs 2083.

                                        I have attached the mail I have send as complaint to the airtel email ids. Since I stay in Mumbai, I cannot visit Bangalore for a cancellation of SIM. My Wife is made to run around and she is in tears now with this legal threatening.

                                        Kindly help.

                                        My wife has received a legal notice from Suresh Advocate High Court, Bangalore ( SA Associates ).

                                        This notice is deplorable and tantamount to threatening or coercing to pay for a service which was not rendered for whatever reasons of communication failure.
                                        I am writing this mail on the advice of Mohan Babu of SA associates - [protected] with this email-ids provided by him. I need an urgent redressal of this issue.

                                        I am away in Mumbai and my wife stays alone with a small kid. This amounts to transgressing the peace of my family when they are alone.

                                        Brief about this case :

                                        1. This SIM ref : [protected] is the free SIM offered when my minor son staying in Engineering college hostel purchased a HP laptop stating that it is postpaid and later can be converted to prepaid.
                                        2. In spite of telling we require the SIM only if it is Prepaid one, else we do not wish to take the SIM.
                                        3. Promises were given, it can be converted to prepaid after one month and we paid 750rs for the first month reluctantly.
                                        4. The conversion did not happen- we raised a complaint and they said it cannot be converted to prepaid and we need to continue with this SIM as POSTPAID.
                                        5. My wife said take the SIM back, we do not want the SIM...please cancel the same went to kaikondanahalli Bangalore office to cancel the same.
                                        6. We requested them to cancel the SIM which was activated...never used...and do not know if they cancelled it.
                                        7. A person came to my house and promised ...please continue with this SIM, this will be converted to Prepaid another promise was made and it was not activated eventually.
                                        8. Bill was sent for POST PAID in spite of saying categorically we will not pay.
                                        9. We refused to pay for services not rendered.
                                        10. Airtel office started calling for non-bill payment, which we told them in no clear terms ...we do not want the service and we will not pay for services not activated at all 2nd time.

                                        Now this legal notice is sent, which is unfair and unprofessional.

                                        I have two other 2 SIM cards of Airtel [protected] - Prepaid and [protected] Prepaid which my wife owns. I have a two more SIMs of BSNL and IDEA and Broadband services of BSNL.

                                        We are staying in a respected locality for the past 12 years. Do you want to threaten and coerce your customers for non-payment of NO SERVICE provided.

                                        I will be forced to seek legal advice and consumer courts and switch over to other service providers.

                                        Secondly this is amounting to harassment of a respectable Lady staying alone and making her lose her sleep.


                                        Please consider, there has been a huge communication gap within Airtel organisation of not cancelling the SIM in spite of repeated visits and calls.

                                        I need a reply as soon as possible. I am reaching there on 27th for a day, I need this sorted out.
