I am an Airtel postpaid customer. My mobile No. is [protected]. I had a 5gb unlimited data plan active. I had used up my 5gb of 3g and according to my plan the data speed came down to gprs level. I kept getting text and flash msgs on airtel app to buy extra data to continue to get 3g speed. As the requirement was there owing to my project work i did buy extra 1gb data to continue on 3g speed. When the bill cycle ended this month i was shocked to see that airtel had downgraded my data plan from 5gb unlimited to 1gb limited plan. there was no notification or approval sought for the same. when I brought this to the notice of customer care they blamed the whole thing on me saying that i asked for the downgrade, behaviour was far from professional. After a while when could convince them that change was made without my notice and requested for rollback to my previous plan, they asked me to mail the complaint to initiate any action. i mailed them couple of mails explaining my problem yet no action has been taken. I am irritated and angered by their change of plan, without approval or even notification of the same after the change made callous attitude of the customer care in solving the same. Its been 10 days since i registered the complaint and yet no correspondence nor action has been initiated.

    I have been using different services of airtel for past many years but recently I experienced the worst ever part of airtel services when I asked them to shift my broadband and dish TV. It's a very easy work for them but they just assigned some so called engineer and sent a text to me stating that the concern person will call me. Surprisingly, no one called me regarding the dish TV and one person called up for broadband connection and very straightforward way he told that either I have to wait for next eight days or I can disconnect my services from airtel. Calling to customer care gives no solution again... I'm highly disappointed with airtel. Without Internet I'm facing lot of problems which leads to financial loss as well. I'm not able to connect with outer world without dish TV. Who is responsible for my loss and my suffering?? Is this the way, airtel treats the customers!!!

      Hi, My name is Rajesh Kumar R and I am using a couple of Airtel services (Postpaid connection "[protected]" and DTH "[protected]") for years. I recently moved to Bangalore from Chennai and I did port my post paid number as well relocated the DTH as I was completely satisfied with the service provided by Airtel. Once I relocated to Bangalore, I checked if Airtel provides the broadband service in my area. My address is: #90, 1st Floor, 16th B Cross, New Mico Layout, Begur Road, Hongasandra, Bengaluru - 560 068. I saw an advertisement board near my home with a couple of mobile numbers saying that high-speed Airtel internet service starting from 899. Those numbers are #[protected] and #[protected] (Both are Airtel numbers). I called these number and a person named Ananda Reddy spoke with me. He said that he will come and check if Airtel provides service in our area and apply for a new connection. He came to my home on October 8th, 2015 and said that the service is available in our area and started explaining the plans. I selected one of the plans that he told me (999 INR/ 15 Mbps speed/ 80 GB data) and asked him to start the application process. He forced me to go for the 6 month plan wherein I have to pay 6000, so that I will get 2 months free internet. I agreed for that. He asked me to pay the amount immediately to apply for the connection. I was hesitant to give him the cash and he promised me that he will send the receipt by EOD and send the technician in the next week to setup the connection. I never received the receipt from him and when I called him in the next week, he said, he need to get permission from the nearby apartment to lay the cable over the building. When I asked for the receipt, he said he sent the application to Airtel and he will send it soon, which never happened till now. After a couple of weeks, I was completely fed-up with asked him to refund my money as I wanted to buy a Airtel 4G Hotspot. He said that he is in his native (Andhra) and he will refund the money in couple of day. This happened on 20th October. When I tried reaching the above number after 2 days, they were not reachable. I have sent him several SMSs asking the status and he never responded. All of a sudden the ring will go and he kept disconnecting the calls. I searched in the Internet and found another number and his email address. His 3rd number is #[protected] and the email address is ananda.g.c.[protected]@gmail.com. I tried the 3rd number and he picked the call. Again he said he went back to his native (Andhra) and he will ask someone to deposit the cash to my account or ask that guy to meet me in person and refund the money by 30th October morning. I called all 3 numbers now and all are become not reachable. The weird thing is the automated messages which says the number is not reachable is in Kannada. However, he says that he is in Andhra. It is clear that he is doing a FRAUDULENT sales in the name of Airtel which need to be investigated and fixed. I know that I have made a mistake of giving him the money without proper receipt. Please help me to get my money back from him. I did a google search for the this guy's mobile number and I am really shocked to see the below complaints raised against the same person (Ananda Reddy) for the past 5 years and I am wondering how he is continuing as a Airtel representative till now. Is this how the Airtel cares about their customers with the worthless, cheating, careless, cheap folks. I have also raised a complaint (reference number is[protected] with Airtel customer service last Friday, 6th November. After a couple of days, when I called them again, they said the service request was closed as I was not reachable when they called me. This is not true. I got a couple of calls from the number [protected] and when I attended the calls, no one responded. After I asked the first level agents in the CS to re-open the case, I got a call again yesterday November 12th from the same number and a lady promised that this problem will be fixed in another 3 days and I will get a connection.         Rs.16 recharged on 17/10 rate cutter not effected and Rs.98 recharged for 650 Mb 21days validity on 13/11 but AIRTEL message is coming 500 Mb 14days. I talked with customer care man who doesn't have basic manners cut the talk and Airtel charges one rupee for that. I want to know whether Bharti Airtel Owner and staff are earning money by cheap cheating and TRAI don't know this illegal earning. The Owner and staff can do Begging instead cheating like this. They better close their company instead pickpocketing many customers

          Amount deducted from bank but failed bill payment with airtel. Dear, I have made airtel online post paid bill payment on 10 November 2015 Amount got deducted from HDFC bank .payment successfully . Money deducted from my HDFC BANK . But from airtel side they said money not reached them.and the transaction has failed. I have not received any refund to my bank after that. This is scam by airtel. They have disconnected my line for non payment of bill money.             Broadband not installed and money taken-2 weeks prior

            With the 1000 plus complaints about airtel on this forum mine is just going to be another straw in the hat. I have been using airtel digital TV services for almost 5 years now but their customer care is simply PATHETIC. My problem started 6 months ago when I got the third connection installed on my ID. We were being charged extra by the installation person & on being asked for a receipt he refused to give one. We called the customer care immediately and they resolved the issue. But we had to pay a price for standing up to them. Since then I have been having a lot of problems with regards to picture quality & clarity. I lodged a number of complaints with the Customer Care but not a single one has been resolved as yet. Below are the details of the complaints made. 1. Ref No 45113990 Date 5th July, 2015. Time 14:44 2. Ref No 45145583 Date 6th July, 2015. Time 22:49 The reason cited for the bad signal was the rains. Although not satisfied with it I still gave them the benefit of doubt and let the complain remain unresolved. Now with the weather being absolutely fine the signal is still weak. One of my connections is showing ERROR CODE 2. Inspite of making several complains the issue is not yet resolved. 1. Ref Nos 48041023 Date 12the Nov, 2015. Time 10:21 2. Ref Nos 48060852 Date 13th Nov, 2015 Time 10:19 The Customer Care promises every day that the issue will be resolved by 4:30 in the evening but of no use. I would strongly recommend that the service of Airtel Digital Tv is simply worse and like many others here I am simply regretting taking their connection. They show utter disregard towards the customer and I would advice anyone to think twice before taking an airtel connection.

              Hello sir, I am syed nawaz...on 3rd nov 2015 i bought two new airtel 4g simcards from a local dealer shop located at mehdipatnam hyderabad...the sim numbers are-[protected] and [protected] which are likely to be activated within 24hrs from the date of purschase..and now a week has gone passed since i purchased it but my two simcards are not yet activated..i want to know that when will the two sims will get activated..kindly reply me soon...                 Airtel Connection # [protected] Bought the Airtel 4G on 8th Oct along with 6 GB Data pack @999 (valid for 30 days). The data card was not activated untill the 21st Oct and took several visits to Airtel stores in Frazer town and HSR. I however find that the data pack expired on 8th Nov itself !!! I get to use it for less than 15 days because Airtel 12 days to activate it but counted those days as well. I want Airtel to credit the data pack that went unused as Airtel delayed the activation.

                  Hi,

                  Since past two months airtel is charging me false bill and telling that I exceeded the internet data usage. This month I though of tracking my data usage. I asked them the justification but they did not have any proof for the same. I took a data plan of 1GB.
                  My billing cycle is on 8th of every month. Till 7th nov, 12:23am my data usage was 887MB and suddenly while sleeping in night it increased to so much that they messaged me on 7th Nov, at 2:18am -"I am about to consume my data usage of 1GB". I saw the message in morning around 7am as soon as I woke up. I immediately closed my mobile internet. Still they charged me 1173rs extra in my bill for internet usage. I have all proofs against them. I am attaching the track of my data usage as well here. I request you to please take action against airtel as they are doing fraud. It seems that, aritel has recently started charging people with high bills to compensate their cost for their new 4G product. They don't even realize their long term losses might leave to closure of company!

                      Guys who ever is looking for broad band connection don't go for AIRTEL, they are just selling your broadband to someone and you are at loss. I have been facing this problem since 9th of this month, since now my problem has not been solved. One customer care executive called me yesterday and asked me to go to the modem url link and asked the about the values and he asked me to change the password, and asked weather am getting net connection or not. Do Airtel people think customers are fools. You can sell our connection to someone else and ask me to wait for 4 days without resolution. They have become so worst that if Airtel name is taken it is like fright. Airtel means just fooling people. Local internet providers are better than them.

                      My internet disconnects in the morning and gets connected again at next day early hours 12.30 and stays till 9.00 and get disconnects again and again i get at 12.30 they say it will take 72 hours. And they say their technicians are on leave.

                      So Airtel give technicians leave to all of them at once. or They have only two or three technicians with them.

                      This is complete fraud.

                      They took 1 week of time just to check what the problem is and finally the simple problem is change of cable, which took less than 1 hour to change but they took 1 week time. could have done earlier

                          Sir,
                          My self Mahesh Kumar contact number[protected] and customer Id is [protected]

                          On 10th Nov 15 around 1440hrs I was registred a complaint regarding 'No Signal/Blue screen' in respect of above mention digital TV id. 
                          After registration of complaint, I was received a SMS from AB-AIR TV with ref Number - 48018764 and also recevied a local mobile number ie [protected]. Approximataly engineer visiting time was 1158hrs on 11 Nov 15 but no any phone call or other contact made by dealer or service engineer till 1000hrs till 11th Nov 15.

                          After that, I call to service engineer Mr Rinku on 11th Nov 15 around 1000hrs but his mobile was switched off so I call to delar mobile number Mr Hemraj and ask visiting time of engineer. Mr Hemraj drop the call stayting that today is holiday please call on 12th Nov 15.

                          After that, I again call back to airtel help line number 12150 and rep of Airtel Bharti Named Miss Pooja attend the call and I told her about the matter and ask him iftoday is holiday then how engineer come ? buy she confirmed me stayting that " Sir, please wait till your time and today is no holiday engineer must be visit on due time presently one hour remaining" and drop the call.

                          Alloted time was expired on 11 Nov 15 but neither any engineer visit nor any call/confirnation recevied by me from delar, engineer/Airtel office.

                          Around 1330hrs on 11th Nov 15, I received a call from Airtel office of Hyderabad branch with number[protected] and he asked me that my problam has been cleared ? I told him that delar says today is holiday and no any engineer visit then how its resolove ? but that person also confirmed that todayis not holiday and he will refresh the complaint and engineer surely visit to solve the matter but full day was pased and neither engineer visit nor any call received.

                          After that I again call to Airtel help line 12150 then senior supervisor told me sirtoday your problam can not solve due to holiday and I was socked as the full day your team told me that today is not holiday and now you told me now is holuday which is serioues fun with customer by you or your company. 

                          In view of the above, you are requested to clarify that who is responsible to loss valubale time of customer ? who is responsible to making foolish to customers ? Who is responsible to recover losses of costomer ? What is value of time of customers ? Can your company or your irresponsible staff would return customers valuable time ? 

                          Hence, Now no need to send any engineer to visit to solve the query as the problam was not lookafter during alloted time period by your company and made serious fun with customer. if the 11Nov was holiday then why your company alloted the date on holiday if the same day was working day then what action taken against delar or engineer by your company ?

                          At least I want follwing two decession in writing by your company before visiting engineer to solve problam :-

                          1. I want serioues imediataly action on your repersentative Miss Pooja who replied me on 11Nov 15 around 1000hrs that I will wait till my alloted timw. Her way of talking and reply was not as per your company standrad. I want recovery of my valuable time from miss pooja which was waste by him as the I want advance info her future problam but she ignore me. If your company is unable to take suitable action against her, I will be launch a FIR against him and appeal to judicial authority to terminate her service and also request to ban all type of such type jobs in her hole life.

                          2. Whats action taken by against defaulters by your company who is responsible to loss my valuable full day and making me foolish. I shall your explanation in writing if you can not provide the same, I will appeal with judicial authority for correct justic. If required, licence of defaulter dealers/engineer will be ceased forthwith.

                          Its not happen at 1st time with me, its also reapeated in Dec 2013 with me for your more information i will provide that time my ref number which is 34854681dated 03 Dec 2013. More than one week was facing problam my me and your conpany was failed to control local area dealers. copy of above dated mail with correspondence also attached for your ready refernce.

                          In view of the above, one thing is clearify that Airtel Bharti is unable to provide standrad digital tv service in Rajasthan state and service of the company in Rajasthan state is very poor. Hence I also request to Ministory of Telecom India to walkout Airtel Bharti Digital TV service from overall of india as the company making foolish to costomer, waist their valuable time and giving un necessary harassment to customer.

                            I have visited airtel office in Attibele, anekal taluk, bangalore-562107... as i have given them all the information and they gave me duplicate sim and they said it will be activated within 4hours ...as still from 3 days it is not activated. ...as i visiting daily to the office just they are taking 30rs daily from 3days .. but they didn't activated my sim...they are really irresponsible about customers. ...please activate my sim [protected]

                                  This is Avi Punjani user of Mob No-[protected].On 05/11/2015 around 2PM my services are Terminated without any Inf. When I contacted with Anjana, Supervisor, DelhiAirtelHelpline she refused to start services with a rude behaviour & excuse that docs are pending.Even after 4 days of Submission of docs (2nd Time) still they are not starting my services.

                                    on 11/11/2015 i recharged mobille no[protected] airtel online thro justrechargeit.though my sb accnt debited a nd with a message recharge successful the balance of airtel accnt is not not credited.the jc card shows the message, "rechagre successful".but the balance in the mobile accnt did not increase.at present i am in a loss of rs350.kindly do the needful to see that the cell is rechagrged with the required amount

                                      Dear Airtel customer service I have written to Ghana but I have not had a reply, so I am hoping that you can assist me with my issue. Asking for your quick attention to this annoying and expensive problem with your company. I don't know who is at fault here, but this subscription is coming from Airtel to phone[protected] Randy Otchere...and even though there is an option to unsubscribe, it will not allow it. My friend Randy Otchere has never subscribed to this service. These are so called inspirational messages that have eaten up all the data I sent. They have been taking money from his main account balance. This is one message forwarded to me: "You must always be willing to let go of the life you planned, so that you can open to the life you were meant to live. Thank you for subscribing to the Inspirational service. To unsubscribe, Text STOP TO 1733" ( this will not be permitted when attempted) My friend Randy Otchere in Bechem Ghana has tried to get it rectified numerous times but to no avail by phone and in person. I am asking you to kindly revise and rectify this immediately or we will use another provider for him. Thanking you and hoping to hear from you asap Gina Anne
