    This is reference to your last email dated November 14th 2015.

    I have not seen such hypocrisy in any other service experience. It has been the heights of indecency in Airtel which I have observed in the past couple of days.

    Kindly try to understand the weight of the situation before sending me any unbiased emails.

    NOTE THAT MY WHOLE OFFICE IS WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION FROM THE LAST 12 DAYS.

    Firstly when I request for termination of connection and had all set for a new one, you call me up and try to convince to do not discontinue my connection. When I agree for that you bar my outgoing calls! Upon requesting you to correct the issue over phone you ask for an email. But when I send you an email to unbar my outgoing calls you cease all my services goddammit, which includes outgoing + incoming + INTERNET.

    Is this some kind of joke to you or you just do it for fun. Later on I find out that you have completely terminated my connection. Help me out here please, when a customer request you to do the same you force him to change his action, but when he agrees you just abruptly terminates cuts the live wire.

    Then talking over phone with two of your employees, Ms. Muskan Aggarwal‎ and Mr. Tripathi (on Nov 9th) they accept the fault of Airtel for this lame mistakeand promise to activate the connection within 24-48 hours. But guess what the story do not ends there, over phone both of them (over different dates) promised to reactivate my connection at earliest and in the next instant when I receive their email (revert) they ask me to pay some outstanding amount.

    Is this some scripted form of routine you follow at Airtel to traumatise the customer? Because surely it feels like so! Get one thing clear that I WILL PAY ALL THE AMOUNT at least you activate my connection so that I may continue my business. I will nowhere run with you 1500 rupees. Also as far as I tried to pay the outstanding I was unable to due to obvious reasons (my number does not qualifies due to disconnection). At billdesk registration is required first FROM THE COMPANY SIDE, as concern connection being a corporate connection.

    I also cannot reach 121 because my broadband number is our of your active database now. I am out of options to reach some sensible individual at Airtel who may help me our of this nightmare. If you do not care about your churns then do provide me with some managerial level employee contact details so that I can get this stupid connection thing over with.

    Do not bother to reach the undersigned if you want to prolong this matter unnecessarily.

      I bought a dongle as its 4G. It does not connect in my area as they do not sufficient towers. As a result there is always net work fluctaions. I am asking for dongle refund as it will take for them 2 months to resolve the issue. when I am not getting services, I am charged. Therefore, I need some help. I am not a fool to loose 2K for nothing,

        Respected sir, I am using airtel prepaid west bengal circle, no., [protected] for over a year in the intention to use 3g services only . Till date I am using 955 INR @ 6gb 3g( recharge done today, 16 Nov, 2015) unlimited in my HTC desire 816 dual 3g enabled smartphone Unfortunately, the 3g data speed is not meeting the promises the company cry for. Generally I got 255- 300 kbps where the company shout for 1.5 mbps. Furthermore, I can't use apps when the background data are turned off ( to save data from uncontrolled draining ). I always have to use it as background data turned on which I think is airtel's conspiracy to forcibly spend the data as fast they can. Therefore, I request before your kind honour so that you take suitable measures against this ruffian. thank you, roquibul Ps., : the aforesaid prepaid no., [protected] was issued in name of my sister, rozeara khatun.

          I am using AIRTEL mobile service ([protected]) from last 15 years. From 20-Oct-2015, the Airtel Mobile signal strength in our area has reduced. Me and many of my layout residents (majority of them are airtel subscribers) are facing sever call drop / call disconnection / call establishment problems. We had FULL signal inside our homes prior to 20-Oct-2015. The signal strength / quality reduced drastically after that. Address of location is as follows: Kaveri Street, Opposite SHELL petrol pump, Basavanagar, Marathalli, Bangalore - 560037. 1) Till 12-Nov, i visited AIRTEL office in Basavanagar many times. I was told to wait till 10-Nov for the problem resolution. However, the problem was not resolved on 10-Nov. 2) On 12-Nov, i raised complained ticket #66246410. I was promised a resolution within 2 working days. On 13-Nov, i got a call from AIRTEL stating that the issue is resolved with some parameter adjustment in our area. I agreed to check. However, there was no change in the problem status. On 14-Nov, i called up airtel and quoted the complaint ID, the call center person told me that the problem was marked as "CLOSED" with my consent. But, i never gave any confirmation to AIRTEL that the problem was resolved. When i mentioned this, the call center person mentioned that he will escalate 66246410 and resolve the problem within 1 day. I waited till 15-Nov, but there was no resolution provided. My airtel connection is a company "Business" connection. I am affected when my clients and company colleages aren't able to reach me. I am losing business. AIRTEL should at least let me know WHEN this issue will be resolved. If this issue cannot be resolved, i need AIRTEL to confirm this so that i can move on with another provider.

          I was promised a progress on this issue 1.47 pm on 20 nov. I did not get it. I do know that a representative from airtel visited my premises to check the signal. But the visit happened only yesterday (after your promised resolution time).

          We are still facing the call drop issue and day by day i am incurring substantial loss only due to airtel.

          Please let me know when this issue can be resolved.

          Hi Soumya,

          This is wrong. please do not mention excuses if you are unable to fix the issue.

          Mr. Gowda ([protected]) has visited my house and checked the issue. please check my call records if you need proof. I have spoken to him several times. Mr. Gowda claimed he is from airtel and he is a technician.

          For your info:

          16 nov : i escalated call to airtel nodal office. promised resolution by 20 nov.

          18 nov : mr. gowda from airtel calls me in the morning. i attended the call.we fixed appointment after 6.00 pm. he did not turn up. i called him several times. he did not pick up

          20 nov : mr. gowda calls me again. he visited my house and was able to check the issue.


          21 nov : no one has called me from airtel and updated status.

          please note tht the original problem is call drop. If you call me on my number and you cannot reach me, it is due to bad signal quality from your side. Dont blame customer for this.

          Not able to reach me is not an excuse for you. Even if you stand in front of my house... the issue happens.

          Also, i had given alternate contact numbers. no one has called on tbose either.

          I think i will raise this issue to consumer court

            I am a user who is using Rs. 399 Plan on my Airtel postpaid no. I have been told that i will be getting 1350 MB (3G) and then it will be Unlimited 2G with speed of 20 KBps. But for a month they have given me speed of just 2Kbps.They are not following there norms. I am a developer who uses internet for developing. They have nearly cost me job. Please help

                I have been using Airtel mobile service from sitalapakkam from past 1 year and also Airtel 3G data card. Past 1 week we are unable to make incoming and outgoing calls using Airtel sim. When we contacted Airtel customer care, they are saying n/w deployment issue and cannot not guarantee on time frame. I am not sure how data services are working fine but not voice calls. If it is n/w deployment issue they can arrange temporary mobile based transmitter but they are least bothered about the inconvience and they even not informed well in advance about the disconnection of airtel services at sitalapakkam -600126.

                  I had a airtel 4g connection, I moved to a new place so applied for disconnection.
                  There was no reply on the application & they kept on generating bill despite of no usage.
                  I started getting calls for payment later. I got an agreement, that they will charge only till i used. Even I made a payment for that still they are asking for payment.
                  I responded to the mails but again no reply. I am again getting calls for that.

                    Hi, My airtel broadband number is [protected], Dsl id is [protected]_kk Registered in the name of Raj kumar.As per the plan data limit is 85 GB & after 60 GB our speed is reduced to 512 Kbps. Every month with in 20 days we are getting notification from airtel that you have crossed the 60 GB limit & your speed is reduced to 512 kbps. We are not doing any download. I don't think anyone can consume 60 GB with 20 days for personal use & that too with no downloads. I made several phone call requests and complaints to airtel. But no improvement on service. I will not pay any amount if this issue is not resolved. Would appreciate help on this.

                          Airtel Mobile number [protected] Dear Sir, On 20.01.2015, I had applied for a Airtel post paid 4G connection (Plan Rs. 1299) & the same was activated on 21.01.2015. It was a 6 months advance rental pack & for that I have paid Rs.8757.00. But unfortunately no 4G network is available around my residence/locality. After so many emails, company sent one technical person on 31.01.2015 at my residence & found that there is no 4G network around my residence. He then told that the company will provide 3G service insted of 4G network with same tariff plan. But then also I had experienced a very poor network. I had intimated that matter several times to the company but company didn't take any action to solve this issue. Finally after expiring of 6 months, I had stopped payment of the monthly invoice & had intimated in several mails that until the company provide me 4G service, I shall not pay anything to them. Still now company didn't take any action to improve their service but continuously sending invoice month after month. Inspite of failing 4G network, how company charging for that service. I also told to Airtel, that if you can prove that in my residential area, 4G network is available, I shall clear all the dues to the company. Till date Airtel didn't take any positive action to resolve this issue. I I, therefore, request you to please look in to this matter & provide me proper justice.                           There are Cheaters, I have also filed a similar issue. they are not even refunding the dongle money or cancelling the bill. For no joy they want me to pay 1K and I alreday paid close to 2.5K for Dongle.

                          Do not spare them they are cheaters.

                                  Hi, I have applied for Airtel Landline connection on 8th Nov for Rs. 1199 plan. My mob no. is [protected]/[protected] but till date I am waiting for connection. Since Thursday ie 12th Nov I am getting reply from their back end team[protected] that installation will be done today or tomorrow but not done till date. I just wanted to ask if Airtel is not capable to install new connection then why they distribute template and ads for new connection here and there and why their team commit dates if they can't follow. I am having postpaid sim of AIRTEL Network ([protected]) since 2010. And after using it Two years I have converted the same sim from postpaid to prepaid. And from then I am using that SIM to till[protected]. On[protected] I observed an error in mobile that SIM REGISTRATION IS FAILED. So I visited AITERL showroom at PARADISE STORE and get it replaced on[protected] and got activated on same day itself. And I have submitted all supporting documents during the SIM replacement. After using it for one day on[protected] once again I got an error in mobile that SIM REGISTRATION IS FAILED. Once again I have visited AITERL showroom at PARADISE STORE to resolve the issue. But there they have intimated me that my SIM is ported out for VODAFONE network and sold out for unknown person in Warangal. After cross checking for more than 4hrs they told me that my documents (which are submitted during my SIM Replacement) are lost and misused by 3rd party persons of which is undertaken by Airtel. This is confirmed by RITU manager of paradise AIRTEL showroom ([protected]). And on 28-07-15 around 8:30 pm I got a threatening call from PRAHAN ([protected]) saying that he is crime inspector of warngal and he asked me to come and meet him at warngal airtel showroom with in 30 mins. And now airtel persons also not responding for resolving the issue. I am put in the Pettition @ Mahankali Police Stations 03/11/2015 Acknowledgmet number : (U[protected]) And my Business total loss and threating to airtel people.                                         Airtel has been incorrectly chanrging me for 3G data services. I am post pais custonmer. Mobile no. - [protected]. As per my monthly plan, I have 270 MB 3G data. On Sep, I purchased 1 GB smartbyte through My Airtel mobile app. However, I was billed for 6 GB.

                                        I called Airtel customer care to fix this issue so that I am billed for 1 GB data and allowed to use the same amount of data. However, they did not fix this issue. When there was no proper action based on my call, I dropped email to [protected]@airtel.in. Based on my email complaint, one executive called me but she could not fix it and told me that she will refer this issue to technical team. IThe issue was never resolved but I got an email that the ticket was closed.

                                        I ignored this problem considering that it was one time issue and consoling myself that Airtel is going to defraud me for just few hundred rupees only. However, I was wrong. Airtel has plans to continue this fraud. They billed me for 1 GB data on Oct. I called customer care and was shouted down by one female executive that it was my fault. She told me I must have requested for this data because Airtel is faultless.

                                        After getting this treatment, I had no other option but to make email complaint to [protected]@airtel.in. There have been more than 25 email correspondence on this issue. I escalated it to their highest level - the appellate authority - appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com. They called me. They told me they fixed the issue. But the issue is still not fixed. I can still see the 1 GB data on my account. They verbally tell me to wait till the next billing cycle. Why should I wait? They have no explanation.

                                        At present, my situation is I don't know how much data is available on my account. So I called CC 2 times. 2 times because I was sure they themselves don't have clarity. And bingo! I was right. Different CC executives give me different answers.

                                        So I dropped an email to [protected]@airtel.in to verify and what answer I get. See below.

                                        Total data available - 2109.14
                                        How this happened? Nobody has an answer.

                                        Now, I don't expect an answer from Airtel. Just want to make others aware that even a company of the stature of Airtel, providing good service but at a premium, can stoop to such low levels.

                                        I am hereby putting all the email correspondence on this issue.

                                        I am following up on this data issue for more than 1 month. Following up since October through phone calls to CC. Raised issue through email on 24th October. So many email correspondence done. Escalated it to Appelate authority. So many calls with CC. Today visited Airtel Kadugodi store as well.

                                        After trying all options from my side to resolve this issue, issue still not resolved. Now I don't see any point in wasting my time in this follow up. I have more important things to do than bother for few hundred bucks.

                                        But before dropping off this issue from my watch, I'll make sure that I highlight this on social media for as many people to notice as possible.

                                        I won't request anybody to fix this issue anymore. Too much of wastage of my time. Twitter, facebook, mouthshut, consumercomplaints - all will be my grievance redressal mechanism now. And if required, I won't hesitate to drag this matter to consumer court.
