After submitting all necessary documents I was given a 4G data card with a promise that the number will start working in a couple of days. When the number was not activated in 3 days I requested again, with a promise that the number will start working from the next day, but as expected it did not. This process of false promises and lies continued. After 4 days I got a message stating my ph no and the request no. I was told to msg "STATUS" on [protected]. Even that did not work as I did not get any confirmation on the status of my activation. It has been 14 days now and they have neither activated my number nor have they provided a reason for the delay. This has not only been a mental harassment but have also led to a loss and delay of my work-my only mistake to trust a brand like airtel. Now when I try to contact the regional manager he does not pick up my call. I am stranded with no option left but to file this complaint.       I called the Airtel Customer Care at around 6:10 PM on 11th June 2015. This was complain about the fact that I had purchased a pre-paid recharge. This was for Rs.500 for full Rs.500 talk time. I got two transaction IDs via means of an SMS from Airtel[protected] &[protected].I also got a confirmation that my recharge was successful. I also received an SMS confirmation from SBI Bank that the transaction was successful ( ID # 1G0AHVXSE5 ). To my surprise I realized that my balance was still the same. I called Airtel today and spoke to a person who will not disclose his name and said that the transaction was not successful. I informed that I have received a confirmation that I have been charged from my bank. He said that if that the case the money will be refunded back within 10 days. I requested for a confirmation email or an SMS for the same. This unprofessional individual right away denied this and said that there will be no confirmation sent and I should call back after 10 days and check with AIRTEL customer care again. I asked for a confirmation number. Reluctantly he gave the following case number[protected]. I asked for his name for reference. TO MY HORROR THE REP DISCONNECTED THE CALL AFTER SAYING THANK YOU FOR CALLING AIRTEL - in spite of me asking of his name three times. IS THIS THE KIND OF SERVICE YOU GUYS PROVIDE ??? You should be ashamed that first you charge the customers, then say that it was not successful, then say that there is no confirmation that I was charged, then do not offer any follow-up calls, you are reluctant to provide any reference #, refuse to send any SMS confirmation or email notification ( Even though you can fill my messages with all kind of stupid promotional messages - Why 'coz you what to make just money !!! ) Then you disconnect the call. The same call I paid for to speak to the so called AIRTEL GOLD SERVICE !!!. This is PATHETIC . I demand I get compensated for this harassment ASAP and get the talk time I paid for. Also, I need a status on the outcome of the rude behavior of the so called Phone rep.

        Dear sir/madam, i am ravish. I am a new airtel prepaid national mnp customer who comes from bsnl prepaid network. I had port-out my bsnl network numbers to airtel prepaid network. But there is a problem in airtel port-in number. Now my problem is, after sucessful port-in i am not able to receive incoming and outgoing sms and also ussd not working. There is no problem in incoming and outgoing calls. I visited many times in airtel store but after 5 days no responce from them.
        Detailed information:- = 1. Mnp port-in number:[protected] *from bsnl rajasthan prepaid network to vodafone delhi prepaid.

        I am Narendra. I am a New Airtel Prepaid National MNP Customer Who Comes From Tata Docomo Prepaid Network. I Had Port-Out My Tata Docomo Network Number to Airtel Prepaid Network. But There is a Problem in Airtel Port-In Number.Now My Problem Is, After Sucessful Port-In I am Not able to send Outgoing Sms and also USSD not working. There Is No Problem In Incoming and Outgoing Calls.Detailed Information.MNP Port-in Number:[protected]
        I am having the same problem. Unable to receive incoming calls. I ported from Vodafone to Airtel and ever since i am seeing this problem. Its more than 3 days now, customer care says the problem is not with them. This is my contact number [protected]
        I am Alok my number is [protected] i have portrd my airttel mumbai to Karnataka since then i am not able to do outgoing sms . Porting was done on 13th March 2016 bit since today 21st August 2016 nothing has been done. I have done +100 compliant but it is of no use still no outgoing sms. Each time airtel customer care take done complaint number saying it will be resolved in 48 hours but nothing happened. When next time i quote the number they say it is resolved that is very pathetic. I am not at all satisfies with service

          I have this airtel dongle number [protected], I have recharged this 3G dongle with Rs 1399/- i.e 3G Data plan giving 7GB data on[protected] and it turned out to be a mistake. I am calling these guys from[protected], Airtel customer support at least 20 times, I have 12 pending SR, guess what for a simple activation of 3G Service. I had chat with 4 senior technical officer Ankit, Inder Pal, Kanika, Rishabh and Supervisor Savita, I was always told that it would be done in 4 hour don't worry we assure and today is 5th day. Then I decided to write to the Airtel Nodal team wrongly assuming some responsible is handling this seat. But I was so wrong again Mr. Harendra told me on 9th July 2015 give me 4 hours it will be done, on 11th July 2015 i.e. today I got an email from Ms. Vritika another nodal officer that asking me how many signal I am getting on my mobile number. C'mon guys this is hilarious to say the least after 5 days 12 open request more than 20 calls, escalated twice to Nodal team if you don't know If my complaint is for prepaid mobile number or dongle it is really very very state of affairs in your company. I am putting this complaint here and writing an email to Appelate authority on 13th July i.e. Monday and later on taking it with TRAI. Also I would be registering a formal complaint in Delhi court for this. Check my call records via 121 and emails sent to Nodal Team for this. I have other platinum postpaid premium number from which I called everytime from and other 8 postpaid connections of Airtel, I am disconnecting all of them now. Anybody reading this I am just advising you never get hold on to a 3G Dongle it is worst device you will ever have. Also their is no support team of Airtel, I requested a call back I received not a single call in 5 Days that tells about this company.

            No incoming calls

            My friends have suggested me to move from Docomo bcz of network issue to airtel. So I requested for MNP..               Sir, I was receiving very good connectivity earlier in [protected] number but from last one week the connectivity is almost NIL. Despite full signal it doesn't even connect. As the 3G charges are comparatively high for Airtel a good service is expected. Kindly let me know if and when it'll be ractified otherwise I've to go for an alternate. The problem is with all the area nearby. The PIN code of the area is 788121. Regards.

                I tried to watch one of the singer who is participated on Mizo Idol using Airtel 3G; in Google search its displayed the linked and tried to open on a new Tab/Window... its say thats... “This website/URL has been blocked as per instructions from Department of Telecommunications and/or Courts of India.”, then i click 'Reload' on Google Chrome and it was played... and listening.. is this Airtel one... one Airtel hijack us...? I knew that there is no illegal things.. or whatsoever... but knew that Airtel is hijacking are internet movement and earning through this kind of activities...

                  Removal of airtel connection line across our house building

This line is given without our permission .More over your people have tied the wire to our water tank pipeline.                   Today I recharged ₹257 (500 MB 3G + 100 TT, 30 days for data) for [protected] on 11 Jul 2015 at 15:55hrs. I got data validity till 9 Aug 2015 23:59:59 hrs. Now if I count the validity airtel is actually giving is 29 days, 8 hours, 4 minutes. And this happens for any Airtel recharge which has validity. But, BSNL doesn't practise this cheap activity. BSNL provide full validity, e.g. if I recharge (30 days validity) on 11 Jul, then day1 would be 12 Jul, day2 would be 13 Jul and so on and it would last till 10 Aug 23:59 hrs. That means airtel is cheating with customers by stealing few hours in validity. In my case, Airtel is not giving full validity of 30 days (720 hours), Airtel steals 15 Hours 56 minutes. Airtel and other service provider, who so ever follow this cheap practise, must be strictly penalised by government. Their licenses must be revoked.

                    I have been using 4G LTE WiFi for a long time now. But recently I noticed that the Company has charged "Value Added Services" to the tune of Rs224 plus 14% Taxes each month, whereas I had not made any request for activation of any such service. And so far as my knowledge goes, such services cannot be used on 4G LTE WiFi - I think it is for mobiles only. It is highly unethical of a reputed Company like Airtel to have first activated the VAS without the consent of the gullible customer and then quoting the small print that the dispute on charges should be raised within 60 days of the receipt of the statement, failing it shall be construed that all charges are valid and in order. As already informed by you, the charges for two months have been waived and I shall pay the residual amount. But I wish to convey that I have just now checked my Invoices for the previous several months and find that this VAS amount of Rs.224 has been charged from me which is illegal, unlawful and highly objectionable as well as taking undue advantage of gullible customers like me. It is unethical and unreasonable. I have made a formal request to the Appellate Authority to kindly intervene in the matter and settle my Bills by waiving the amount of Rs.224 charged from me unlawfully, for the past several months.

                      Sir, i am a user of airtel postpaid but this complaint is not regarding any services of Airtel. Actuly one o[censored]ser of airtel money had fraudulently done a transaction from my sbi credit card . I have filled a FIR complaint to investigate the matter. Only airtel can find out the details o[censored]ser who had done this fraud but on contacting ur executive they said they can;t share the user details as this is against their policy. They said to file a FIR & willl share the details with Police only. I did the same but police do not know where to send the notice for the same. You are therefore requested to kindly share with me the address where police should sent the notice to share the details o[censored]ser who had done this fraud. Fraud details are as follows:
                      Date 18th feb 2015 amount 4970/- thru airtel money.
                      If you can share the details of that user it will be helpful for us to investigate the same.I am a airtel user from last 15years. Seriouly expecting some favour from you

                        Dear Sir/Madam, My airtel Postpaid number is [protected]. On July 3 2015 I have applied for National MNP to Karnataka circle. On July 7th my sim got activated. I have been using my number for past 4 days. On July 11th my sim registration is failed. When i checked with nearest Airtel store they said your number has been ported out. I haven't raised any request for port out. I am holding this airtel number for 10 years. Can you please help me to get back my number? Thanks, Sudarsan P

                            Hi, This is Vijay kumar my number is [protected] i have registered my number in DND in the last month but still i am getting continuous calls from many advertisement companies (Example i got a call from this number regarding trading in equities and commodities [protected]) regarding this issue i have called airtel customer care but there is no proper response from the customer care team, Now i doubting on the quality and service of the Airtel and i am going to file a case on this issue and i need a clear cut explanation and solution in this regard.                                 I have recharged my air tel mobile number [protected] with rs.175/ on
                                09/07/2015 through paytm and money has been deducted from my bank account vide transation reference - ccacg1hvt551ig0ahxlzy7 transfer to [protected] avenues india
                                Private. But by mobile number did not recharge and money rs.175/ deducted from my account .

                                You are requested to recharge my mobile number or refund my money.If money has not been credited to air tel account please let me know why this happened

                                  Just from the momemt my number [protected] ported from vodafone to airtel. I am still not able to to receive incoming calls from airtel numbers. Incoming and outgoing sms service is also barred from airtel. I trusted airtel so much but this time they are disturbing me to the core. My work is disturbing due to this problem, people are not able to contact me.

                                    I've been a loyal Airtel customer since the last 5 years, using my first landline no:[protected] and 3 mobile nos. Since I was reasonably satisfied with Airtel's services, I decided to take another broadband connection and a new landline from them. After I contacted their marketing executive, on 25 May 2015 a new landline number[protected] was installed at my residence. A couple of days later, I received two welcome calls from Airtel. I asked them to activate my new landline and broadband connection[protected]. I also spoke to another associate from Airtel who confirmed that the services on the above number were activated. I used this phone[protected] and the accompanying Broadband connection for almost a month till 19 June 2015. On that day I suddenly noticed that my landline and broadband connection were down. I called 121 from my other landline[protected] and spoke to a Floor Supervisor called Mr Shiva. He told me my landline has been disconnected, as I didn’t pick up the Welcome calls made to me. I told him this was rubbish and that I received two Welcome calls. Then when I asked him to tell me the mobile number registered on the account. He gave me some other number, I’ve never used in my life. Mr Shiva told me then, that my number[protected] was not yet re-alloted to anyone else and that he would take a request to re-activate it for me. He gave me the Reference No: 56882228. When there was no further progress on this issue I called Airtel's Customer Care again on 22 June 2015 and this time your escalation desk spoke to me and gave me the Reference No: 56945036. After that on 23 June 2015 I received a text message on my mobile with another Reference No: 56983988. When I called up your call centre, they said this was a new Reference Number generated for my Broadband connection. I was told this issue will be resolved by 27 June 2015. On 27 June 2015 I received a call from Mob: [protected] where a lady by the name Ms Swati informed me that the number[protected] was allotted to some other customer. When I told her that I already had the phone No:[protected] printed on visiting cards, receipt books and letter heads, she transferred the call to a Supervisor Ms Punyashri who promised to take personal responsibility for this issue, and call me back in 48 hours. But she never called me again. After this we received another call from Ms Kiran from the Mobile No: [protected] on 1st July 2015. She promised to look into the issue and get back to us in 15 mins. But we never heard from her again.
