I brought Airtel 4G internet connection ([protected]) on 19-March-2015. Sales guy scheduled multiple demos for me so as to get satisfied with the speed. They were regularly contacting me and service was quite promt. A CPE (booster) was installed on my apartment's window, which has a SIM card. This was connected to a WiFi router (TP-LINK). It was working fine and speed was quite good. Since 28-June-2015, all of a sudden internet stopped working. I was using internet till 10-11 am on 28-June-2015. I called customer care on 121 and told them about this, however, complaint was not logged. I got new customer care number for logging data card related complaints, which is[protected]. I logged a complaint on 29-June-2015 and got service request no: 62210769. It got closed without resolving this issue and without contacting me. I again logged a complaint on 29-June-2015 with service request no: 62364586, which was also closed without contacting me. On 03-July-2015 I logged another complaint with service request no: 62959173, and this was surprisingly marked RESOLVED within 2-3 days automatically. On 04-July-2015 I logged another complaint with service request no: 62988988. I went to Airtel outlet in my area on 04-July-2015 at 6PM and told them about all this. One of the senior guy asked me to forward the last SMS of service request[protected] to his mobile no and he will look into this on urgent basis and will send someone. I waited till 7:30-45PM and then tried calling him. No one picked my call. 05-July-2015 was a Sunday. On Monday, 06-July-2015, it got resolved without informing and I never received a single call from technical team to visit my place or to resolve this issue. On 06-July-2015 morning I wrote an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com and explained them all my details once again and asked to escalate this issue and resolve this as soon as possible. But no reply since evening. I escalated this issue to Level-2 support on nodaloffice.[protected]@in.airtel.com, and surprisingly I received a funny scripted reply with scripted questionnares asking - handset name, signal strength on my mobile, issue is in specific area or all areas, imei no, error message, application name and all. I gave all the required details (dont know why they are required), and what I got was another complaint no: 63037023. On 07-July-2015 I took a leave from my work and angrily went to the same Airtel outlet and that time while sitting with another senior personnel I came to know that they can see only last service request no, and the SLA for resolving the same. And then I got to know why all of my service requests are getting resolved or closed automatically. This is to maintain their SLA (Service Level Agreement) and maintain good track record, and let the customer log another new request if the issue still persists, and let him shout and get frustrated. On 07-July-2015, that senior guy at the Airtel outel sent an email to his technical team to visit my place, and finally on the same day someone visited my place at 4:00PM. They said that the CPE installed on my apartment's window has some issue and need a software update. This is the kind of issue I am facing from Airtel since more than 10 days now. Horrible after sales service. Now, I have a plan for 10GB with monthly rental of Rs. 999. What about the same, when I have not used it for more than 10 days now.

I went to nearest Airtel office and raised my complaint there, which was addressed immediately and technician visit was scheduled. They replaced the CPE device in next few days. And now the issue is resolved.

    I got a msg from airtel regarding data plan for recharge of rs 128 u will get 1gb 2G data for 28dyz and 150mb data free .So i recharged through freecharge.in i got recharge only of 150mb that to 2G data so i called customer care and asked them i have got only150mb then they said that the recharge should dine through easy recharge not through online so u did not get recharge.for 128rs they gave only 150mb 2g data how far this is correct mymobilenumber is [protected]

      After repeatedly complaining about excess data usage on my Airtel 4G connection I have not got any resolution since more than 2 months. I noticed the excess usage on the first day o[censored]sage itself and complained the very next day. Since then I have contacted customer care multiple times, sent emails, contacted Airtel store, wrote to Nodal officer, Appellate but I have still not got any resolution. They keep asking me to write back when the next bill is generated. Just for normal browsing Airtel4G is showing up GBs of data used up without downloading anything. Airtel sold me this 4G dongle when I applied for broadband connection saying that broadband is not available in my building. I bought the device trusting Airtel. But I am unable to use this even for regular browsing and have to keep it switched off most of the time otherwise the consumption keeps on going up. This is reported by many people on the internet and among my colleagues. I am unable to use if for my official purpose and have resulted in problems in my official work. I want Airtel to acknowledge this problem and pass on waiver for previous months and rectify this issue ASAP. Else they should at least triple the data usage quota provided in the plan I am using. Finally, if nothing is provided, I want them to refund my money and take back their device.

      I already complained multiple times to Airtel customer care Store Nodal officer Apellate so looks like no one at Airtel was bothered to resolve this. Request you to provide a resolution ASAP else please refund my money.Monis
      I don't see any response or action from Airtel's end yet. Fail to understand what's taking it so much time to fix this issue. Really disappointed.
      Still did not get any calls or any communication from Airtel whatsoever! What are you doing? Do you need an year to solve an issue? Pathetic!

        The above SIM was purchased on 3rd July 15 and I was promised that the same will be activated by the evening on 4th July. Despite keeping your Mr Ramesh (Mobile No.[protected]) informed of the urgency and importance of activating the above number through your franchise, Sai Venkat Cell Point, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam from whom this SIM was purchased, Mr Ramesh is so insensitive that he now does not take the calls from your franchise nor he has taken any action whatsoever to activate this number. In case Airtel does not want to release any more mobile connections (either prepaid or postpaid), it is only fair that they display this information very clearly on their website and on other advertisements - both electronic and print media instead of harresing the customer this way. Surprisingly, this is very bad, particularly, in Visakhapatnam - perhaps, Mr Ramesh thinks that he is busier than Mr Bharati Mittal, your Chairman. This shows the arrogance of Mr Ramesh who is not certainly doing any good to Airtel. To tell you little about the background - this SIM was purchased for one of my family friend's son who has just joined his graduate studies in engineering at Gitam University a couple of days back. The family is from Jamshedpur. Now this boy is out of contact for his parents or vice-versa. It is unfair to expect the boy to borrow his friend's mobiles to communicate. Apparently, Airtel signal strength is very good in and around the university area and that is the reason for going into Airtel connection. Despite knowing these facts very well and inspite of regular follow up both from your franchise and me, apparently Mr Ramesh feels that he owns Airtel and he can make the customer run around him (like a Govt Babu) but he fails to understand the serious pit he is digging both for Airtel as well as for himself.           Dear Airtel Team, Greetings!!! This has been very sad approach from the Airtel team which is operating in Hyderabad - Chandanagar Area – Ranga Reddy District. We have shifted to the address: Flat 409 Block “A” Madhavapuri Hills PJR Enclave Road No 5 Pin Code 500049 last June 2014. We have obtained 2 postpaid corporate connections while working with Karvy Computershare as a Manager numbers being [protected] and [protected].Previously I was having 2 postpaid connection in Kolkata which I had for almost 10 years being [protected] and [protected] but till date never thought would experience such a bad and bitter experience that for a service provider like AIRTEL, I might have relocate to another house which will cost around Rs 10000 to Rs 15000 plus the pain I have to go through locating another house to suit AIRTEL’s connectivity and bandwidth. Initial 10 months till April 2015 we never faced any connectivity issue like this. Suddenly one fine morning from May 2015 onwards neither can we speak nor can we take calls for more than 2 mins. I ended up spending more to speak to anyone because the phone kept disconnecting due to lack of signal and connectivity. Hardly we can browse the net or use the BBM or Whatsapp where I spend Rs 700/- (approx) per connection per month. For few days I ignored this issue satisfying myself that it’s a temporary issue and definitely will be resolved but it not happen to my expectation. Things went worse and I lodged a complaint on 13-May-2015 – Madinaguda Airtel Center Reference No being 61885650 where the following incident took place in the following manner 1) Complaint Lodged on 13-May-2015 at Madinaguda Airtel Center Reference No being 61885650 2) Site Inspection done – Mr Venkatesh from Airtel which he accepted the problem described by me persisted. 3) Airtel Customer Care [protected] confirmed on phone saying problem will be resolved within 4 days. 4) Case closed within 4 days from Airtel side where the problem is till persisting till date. Post the above I decided to call up the Airtel Area Manager Miss Deepthi who ensured immediately addressing the issue give me an immediate resolution. Initially no one revert on my complaint to Deepthi. Again I had remind her where Mr Pravesh called and again just attended my problem rather giving me resolution. The same trend followed where again Pravesh did not revert until unless I again kept calling and ensured him that if does not take an action on this I will definitely escalate the issue. After Pravesh attended my call he directed the technician Mr Sailesh who immediately asked me to go and talk to the association and convince them of my Apartment where I only stay in the capacity of a tenant, to install a BTS on that apartment. I really ask you the question –Is it my duty to do the job for installing the BTS or I do my job where I work for a living. Again Pravesh called me and tried convincing the same thing. In fact he further went on saying that if I do not support his request then they will not be able help me. Actually I am very tired writing the full history like this. Finally last request – Kindly confirm by mail at [protected]@yahoo.co.in whether the airtel team will be able to resolve the issue or not – either ways please inform me. The whole situation has been very difficult for me and bothering in my daily life. Kindly revert and looking forward to your cooperation !!!

          I am also living at Madhavaouri hills, chandanagar, hyderabad. The above singal issue still not resolved, its more than a year, lot of people from this area raising complaints, but no actions at all. day by day its becoming worst.

          please come to madhavapuri hills and get into any apartment, check the singals. Requst you to take seriously on this issue and try to sort out. Like a city in hyderabad itself airtel not able to provide coverage properly, its really wondering.

            This is for your kind information and my complain that I had transfered my ownership of mobile no. [protected] from anil Kumar Saraf to my company grap realty pvt Ltd, my number discontinued from 9.00 p.m on 7th July I asked c.c about 11 p.m they told within 24 hrs your line will start but till 1.00 a.m on 8th july 27 hrs gone but my line not start, now I again I called customer care they were misbehaving and tell it will not start more 24 hrs I called 3 times in last 1 hr. From 1 am to 2 am . Please do something it will create so many problem to me and my business . Please suggest Wat I do .

              I have subscribed to Rs.90 per day international plan with Airtel. On trip to Hongkong and US. On the airport clicked on gmail to check message. And that's it -less than 1MB data -data charge Rs.12000. and for 6 calls -totalling 20 minutes voice charge Rs.4000. Calling Airtel, they indicated the plan got discontinued -without letting me know. Even so how in the world Rs.16000 for 20min phone call and max 1MB data. I am with Airtel for 6 years -on Dish, DSL, Home and Cell. Now thinking it continue to rob money.

SMS Outgoing facility is not available since last one week even after our complaining to customer center thrice during last week. I have changed the sim card after informed by Airetel store, Madhapur. Since this facility is very required by me, early action in the matter is solicited. For your information when i am sending sms, i always found ERROR indication.Your utmost action/reply is also requested

                  Dear Sir/Madam, Couple of months back, I took an Airtel 4G dongle broadband connection. After that I have been facing issues on and off. Last time after paying my bill on 23rd June, 2015, I was not been able to connect to the internet regularly. The connection was on and off during the day and night times. So I raised a request on 3th June, 2015 and I received a message from then that by 2nd July, 2015 the issue would get resolved. On 1st July, 2015 the service man called me and told me that they will look into the matter and will get it resolved. Since without any communication from their side, I decided to call the service man on the same number on 2nd July, 2015, but surprisingly the service man disconnected the call. So I called the Airtel and asked them to disconnect the connection and also requested them not to bill me for 10 days (after paying my bill), since I am not been able to use the internet. After that the call service agent told me that it will take 24 hrs and Airtel will call me back and confirm my discontinue with them. On 3rd July, 2015 the service man again called me and asked if the connection is working or not. Aware of the poop communication between the employees of Airtel, I again called the service center and asked for an explanation. The service center representative also have no idea on the same and again that told me that it will take another 48hrs in addition to 24hrs to disconnect my connection. Again on 4th July someone from Airtel visited my place and promised that the issue will get resolved. Once again on 5th, the next day someone else visited and did the same promise. But without any surprise the promises proved to be fake, as the service engineer left my laptop is not even able to detect my dongle. Whenever I am asking about my disconnection to any employee, directly or indirectly associated with Airtel, everyone have the same answer, ‘We don’t know’. I haven’t seen such a company in my life, making so much fake promises and without any coordination. Last time I spoke with the engineer he told me that in my area there are no signal coverage. Also to mention that without taking my prior consent they had increased my credit limit to Rs. 14, 000. When I asked them to reduce my credit limit to Rs. 0, instead of that they had reduced it Rs. 8, 000. Kindly advise, the legal steps I can take against them. Thanks & regards Sabyasachi Mitra

                    Hi, I have requested for new broadband connection in my area. I have got a call initially telling that airtel service is feasible in my area upto 12MBps. But later after continuous calls they told me that the connection possible is only upto 2MBps there are more than 3 houses in my area is asking for broadband connection. But all are denied because there is no port available.Please request you to look into the issue and provide new broadband connection. Thanks

                        I applied for Airtel Broadband on 3rd July, 2015 (CEF no : 3860832), but its been 4 days after that and I have not received any phone call/sms/notification about my connection. I am speaking to Sales Representative (Mr. Usman - [protected]), who promise me daily that I will get the connection in couple of hours, but nothing happens. He finally routed me to Mr. Vibhas ([protected]) [Mr. Vibhas is supposed to be responsible to get my connection done], who doesn't even care to pick up the call. Luckily I got a chance to talk to Vibhas, yesterday, and I am surprised to see the way he speaks to the customer, as if customers are beggars. Any ways, I have lost all my trust on Airtel, and just hoping, if I can get my money back (Rs 1000/-). Menawhile, I would like to add that, whenever you make payment by cash, sales people doesn't provide any receipt/bill for the cash payment, in return they say that you should not apply for the connection if you need a bill for the payment.

                        I applied for Airtel Broadband on 10 Dec, 2015 (CEF no : TBLR 7057614), but its been week and I have not received any phone call/sms/notification about my connection. I am speaking to Sales Representative (Shiva [protected]), who doesn't even care to pick up the call. Any ways, I have lost all my trust on Airtel, and just hoping, if I can get my money back (Rs 1000/-). Menawhile, I would like to add that, whenever you make payment by cash, sales people doesn't provide any receipt/bill for the cash payment, in return they say that you should not apply for the connection if you need a bill for the payment.

                          bloodt airtel cheated me 5th july 2015 activated 3g dongle 3gb post paid service to my device. 2hrs before my internet usage only 1.5 GB but i dont suddenly they sent a message my quota is expired even i do not use internet.                           Airtel Worst service provider and cheater. Last year I port out my connection to Airtel and had taken service as normal plan later while receiving bill i found my bill as per Ipaln, then i requested airtel representative to change my plan to normal but according to them iplan will not be shifted to normal due to which have to pay extra charges in all bill and also requested to change my billing cycle that also was not change, finally I port out to another service, and before porting I made payment of Rs. 2600/-against my bill of Rs 2146/-, but porting was not done and according to another service provide Airtel was leaving network, for which I called and send mail to airtel but not get any solution and generate another bill which is not valid. if I already made proper payment then why airtel is not leaving network I faces many problem with airtel and still facing. after 6 month airtel disconnected my service also In the month of June I receive call from Airtel and person call for payment and he talk very badly with my parents of which I made complaint in police.

                            Rs.55 has been deducted from my airtel prepaid number [protected] on 6 july at around 9 to 10 p.m. when I enquire about this on customer care, executive response was that it has been deducted because of internet use. This occurs when my net pack has been expired.but I hadn't been told about this.Airtel should sent an sms regarding this. Same incident happened with me in past about 4-5 times. The executive response was also rude.he told that an sms has been sent but in reality nothing has been told to me regarding the expiry of my net pack.the information provided to me was also wrong. I am using a smartphone and I can check how much internet I had used. So I checked my data usage n it was much less then what the executive told me.so it was clear that they charged extra.i just want them to reimburse my money which they deducted now n if possible that too which they had deducted in past.

                                  I have a prepaid connection and I travel out of the country and I don't get incoming calls. I also cannot give a missed call to Indian number. I have sent a letter by SPEEDPOST to appellate authority and sent a series of emails. There has been no response to resolve the issue. Also they don't want to meet me in person at their Chennai office. They have deducted the amount for not using the mobile for more than 90 days and deactivated the number. IT IS NOT MY FAULT AND THEY ARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. SINCE MONEY IS IN THE ACCOUNT THEY DEDUCT. They provide some contact numbers and if I call it goes through menu and states press this and press that. It is very frustrating and we cannot even speak directly to the customer service team PLEASE HELP

                                    I have airtel postpaid mobile connection. My number is 91 [protected]. I have been using this number since 10 years. In February 2015, I bought Redmi Note 4G phone thru Airtel 4G store at Vijaynagar. They offered me to get 4G connection and the tariff will 250 rupees for 1GB/month for 4G speed. They also told that, since i am buying phone, I will get extra 1GB per month free at 4G speed. So I got it activated. Since then, in every month billing they have been charging extra amount in my billing. When i asked them, they are telling, whatever extra 1GB i am getting, that has to be used in 4G speed only. If the speed is at 2g/3g, that will be charged extra. I always preferred to use 4G only. But sometimes automatically it switches over to 2g or 3g speed and i don't have any control on it. And Airtel is charging me extra amount for that usage. Since i have got an offer for 4G speed, it should be fine to use lesser speed network.How can they charge extra for that? While buying mobile also, they did not tell anything about this. They just said, i will get extra 1GB and i can use it however i want. Later they are charging extra amount. Airtel is simply trying to fool customers saying that they are giving offers and cheating people later. Please take necessary action and help me to get my bill adjusted.

                                      Hi, I bought a 4G dongle on 2nd July, provided all the details. Verifucation on call is done but physical verification is not happening at all. I got so many calls from the customer care but everyone is transferring my call to some other department saying that they are not the concerned people. Please help. Earlier I had an airtel broadband connection, which is not working and no one came to check that also. Ultimately, I had to opt for the dongle, but in that also, they are creating trouble.
