Hello, As per the latest bill for period 08-Apr-2015 to 07-May-2015 my bill for account number [protected] is generated to be whopping 3034.32₹. For the usage I have done this is at least 5-6 times more. As per my bill plan T67 CUG 199 plan, 1GB 2G internet is free. As per the bill I have consumed 93194 units i.e. approx. 931Mb which is less than 1GB, but only 5538.40₹ discount has been applied. I exhausted the consumption of 1GB – 3G usage by 23-Apr-2015 so I connected with customer care for deactivation of 3G so that I can continue default 2G usage. 1) But they said it would be prorate basis as its being activated in the middle of month. So I would get only 512MB data to be used. As per the plan I have to be given what I am offered. 2) On other note I noticed there was almost 100-150₹ being crediting into Unbilled usage. I wrote to customer care asking for the reason but customer said they can’t see customer’s usage and I was asked to write them after bill generation so that I connect with them only after whopping bill is generated. Its unbearable excuse that they can’t look into customer account on his request and provide required information which is necessary for controlled consumption. 3) Even though data usable under 2G was 1GB I keep using it carefully everyday checking DATAUSE from 121. Till end of the billing cycle it showed that I have consumed only 385out of 512MB. Also I had set the android data limit setting (we can assume its 95% accurate). In the bill it shown that I have used 931 MB data of 2G data. So automated server notification mislead me for usage over than 512MB (even though it’s not over usage as per the plan) and gave me wrong information. So as per the information provided I haven’t crossed usage of prorate data limit too. 4) They said that 2G was activated only after 23-Apr-2015, and I couldn’t have used 2G and 3G both. But the bill shows that they have charged me for 2G since 8th April, start of the billing cycle. How is that possible? So prorate basis calculation shouldn’t apply here as customer was using default service start of the cycle. So no charge should be levied for both 2G and 3G usage. Monthly charges would be 199+250 = 449 instead of 324 ₹. So waiver to be applied of 2128.44(for 2G) + 207.69 (for 3G) = 2336.13 ₹. I have written countless mails explaining the same but I get same reply saying charges are valid. I am really frustrated as this has happened with internet usage calculation many times. So prorate basis calculation shouldn’t apply here as customer was using default service start of the cycle.


So no charge should be levied for both 2G and 3G usage.

Monthly charges would be 199+250 = 449 instead of 324 ₹.

So waiver to be applied of 2128.44(for 2G) + 207.69 (for 3G) = 2336.13 ₹.


I have written countless mails explaining the same but I get same reply saying charges are valid.

I am really frustrated as this has happened with internet usage calculation many times.

    Dear Sir/Mam; I have online recharged my above mentioned mobile for Rs. 123/- vide transaction ID 719119 on 19.4.2015 at 4.36 PM but I received nil balance and got a SMS of failed transaction due to technical reason. I tried to contact at customer care many times but almost time I failed to contact due to busy lines or putting calls on hold for long time. Fortunately, I got successfully to contact the concerned person in this regard and I was assured that My balance of Rs. 123/- will be deposited in my bank account of which I have used debit card for online recharge. But with regret, you are intimated that I was given false assurance vide Ref no. CSELC[protected] registered on (2/2/ 27.5.2015 at 7.26 PM and Request No. CONRC[protected] on 8.5.2015 at 6.48 PM. Thus you are humbly requested to resolve my complaint which is very clear that Air Tel has received my balance of Rs. 123/- but neither charged my mobile nor given me refund of Rs. 123/- It is not a matter of amount but it is a serious negligence at may levels in company.       I am a student of Narula institute of technology at electrical engg.last month when i came out from college they said me if i interrested to take corporate connections on airtel postpaid sims.and also mention that this offer is only valid for Jis group college students.On that time i have no i cards due to some errors of our college so i gave them a student id of Jis kalyani's student they said its ok..and also said that to attach his voter id scan and photo to whatsapp no.after 7days verification will start and then my connections will start.i have taken 3sims from them.noy only that they have also take 70 rupees from me..after that i tried them many mire times on phone they said that the connections will start shortly.it is more about 40 days or more but they are not complete the verification process still now.so i will appeal a complaint against Shubhrajyoti Mukherjee the airtel sales executive who are cheated with the students.Sir we are awaiting for your positive steps.

        I have free one number of airtel friends, which charges is 0.50 rs per day and airtel to airtel call on registered mobile numbder is 20 paisa per minute, but sometime call charges are deducted per 20 paisa and some time according to 1 paisa per second . Custmer care 121 and 198 does not gave any response when i call

          whenever some phones to my No. they hear a message that the subscriber cannot be reached. After some time I get an sms stating that you have missed call from so and so No. I have made several complaints, changed the sim but problem persists. I am airtel customer for last 12 years, but this problem is there for the last 2 months. Thinking of migrating to some other service provider. Can anyone in Airtel can resolve my problem?

            I've cancelled my connection on 12.02.15 itself. but till today it is not activated and the bill value accumulated to Rs.4400 .00. Every month my bill amount was rs.900 to 1000.00 Even though I’ve been paying the amount on regular basis. But last month my bill amount was Rs.1700.00 were am not using 100% b’se iam not in the station on last month. When iam using 100% my bill amount was below rs.1000.00 and when iam using below 50% my bill amount is Rs.1700.00. So, how it will possible??                   Sir, I have activated roaming pack in my mobile no.[protected] on 12/05/15 at hazaribagh (Jharkhand) but after I entered in hyderabad I am not receiving any incoming call only outgoing facility is active. I have sufficient balance then why I suffer for this kind of problem. Customer care executive not receiving my call. Please do the needful.

                    Sir/madam, I Sudhakar Varanasi and my mobile number is [protected]. For this service provider is Airtel. On 13th May, 2015 i saw a offer in Airtel mobile application for Rs. 7/- regarding call rates. Immediately i recharged that amount through my net banking facility. But that offer not activated in my mobile till now. In this regard i made a call to Airtel custmer care on 16th May, 2015. Buy they are not responding properely and disconnected my call during conversation. Please take necessary action on Airtel and do a favor to me.                       I made a call on customer care no i.e [protected] at 2.25. & 2.35 p.m on 13.5.15 and spoke to ur reprentative Ms.Pooja regrding my airtel net dongal . She behaved very rudely and disconnected my call twice with giving solution to my probslems. Forget about solution she didnt hear me. hence, i request you to kindly take serious action against your employee.My complaint was rearding my net speed . I reacharged 3G connection but from 3 months i am getting two speed.My net no is [protected]. Kindly reply me on [protected]@yaoo.co.in Thanks

                        Hi, I am using Airtel for few months and today i was surfing internet and suddenly 35 rs got deducted from my main balance. i got a sms saying you have subscribed LAILA services but i did't subscribed any things on my number. I call customer care also but i am not satisfy by their response and they have stopped the service.                           I bought an Airtel wifi dongle (wingle) with a new data card/SIM on 8th May, which was verified and, as reported by airtel customer representative, activated on 9th May. The dongle came with 3GB 3g data free. However, when I tried to use the dongle, it got conneted to the device (laptop) but there showed "No internet access". I have been trying to contact airtel customer service and technical support since than to get the issue resolved. First of all their initial reponse was very poor, they kept passing the issue from one forum to next. Finally after 48 hours they registered the complaint and told me to wait for 72 hours. Now it has been more than 144 hours and the issue is still the same. I have been once told that the SIM is not registered or invalid. Next they told me that my data balance is nil and the bundled data of 3GB that came with the dongle has not been activated or updated. They keep asking for more time, but never revert back with any answer. I have had to repeat my problems more than 30 times over the last 6 days and yet have not received any answer.

                            My Data card #[protected]. I have made the full and final payment for the above said data card on 18th Feb 2015 directly in Airtel showroom in Medavakkam, I even gave all the required proof and letter for cancellation, They forgot to cancel my datacard, as the particular person who supposed to cancel my datacard has left the showroom. Now I still receive the bill for March and April.When I go to medavakkam showroom asking for details they told to gave another letter, I gave a letter on 30th March and still no action is been taken. Now I am asked to pay the both the bill for March and April. The showroom people are not responding properly as well.

                              I am changed my network service form Docomo to Airtel with MNP facility. My Docomo service end at 27 April 2015. But the airtel not activated after my complaint they activate tower but calls not activated.[protected] only they activate outgoing calls. Still not my incoming calls activated. I tried all the way . I dont know what to do... Kindly help Me. Its my Official Number.

                                Airtel one of the worst customer support i have seen. In past 2 weeks i have received two calls from customer care numbers[protected] Deepak) i was talked in an abusive language with his senior. I have the recording for the call too. Second call u recieved from a lady (name not disclosed[protected] this lady when asked for an email for customer care disconnected the call on my face rudely.

                                    I wanted to change the ownership of a prepaid Airtel SIM numbered [protected] from my sister to myself. I went to Airtel office on 6th May 2015 and submitted my documents for the same. On 11th May 2015 I went again to the office and found out that They had mistakenly had issued an active SIM. They behaved so carelessly. To rectify the matter, issued me a new free SIM and told me that within a day or two it would be activated. Nothing has happened. Why these people are so adamant and careless. At the end of all, they start giving the reasons of technical glitches that persist outside their purview. Especially, at this office, all the staff are very cold to customers. They treat them inhumanly. They intimidate the customers. They don't listen to customers."

                                      I recharged my airtel number from My Airtel app. There i saw ₹42 recharge for 200 MB of whatsapp data then I proceed recharge. After that i got a message saying I got 450 sms on recharge of ₹42. When talked to Customer care, they told me for 200 MB whatsapp data pack is ₹43 Not ₹42 n disconnected call again n again. I have a screenshot showing data plan during recharge on My Airtel app.
