I bought an Airtel wifi dongle (wingle) with a new data card/SIM on 8th May, which was verified and, as reported by airtel customer representative, activated on 9th May. The dongle came with 3GB 3g data free. However, when I tried to use the dongle, it got conneted to the device (laptop) but there showed "No internet access". I have been trying to contact airtel customer service and technical support since than to get the issue resolved. First of all their initial reponse was very poor, they kept passing the issue from one forum to next. Finally after 48 hours they registered the complaint and told me to wait for 72 hours. Now it has been more than 144 hours and the issue is still the same. I have been once told that the SIM is not registered or invalid. Next they told me that my data balance is nil and the bundled data of 3GB that came with the dongle has not been activated or updated. They keep asking for more time, but never revert back with any answer. I have had to repeat my problems more than 30 times over the last 6 days and yet have not received any answer.
