Hi, Disconnected my Airtel postpaid connection in Jun 2013. I need to get a reimbursement of since then. Lots of mails, calls and Service request numbers since july 2014 but Airtel has not payed the money yet and now it is may 2015- almost a year. When I got no response form customer care contacted the Nodal officer but hey were also of no help. The Nodal officers copied a line stating" team is working on the issue and will be resolved shortly" This has been going on for months but they have never resolved my compliant till date. Then I escalted this matter to the appalte committe of Airtel but they have not responded for days. All the complaint requests are closed without making the actual payment and the issue still remains. What is the next step that I should take now. Regards, Shoba ([protected])

Hi,

There has been no reimbursement yet. They claim to have refunded the money to my bank account in Mar 2015. But I have not received any money in my account so I have provided the bank statement Mar - Apr 2015 to the Airtel team The statement is proof that there is no reimbursement made to me yet.

Every month every mail I get the same reason from different Airtel staff that the money is refunded. I then provide them the statement once again to prove that the refund is not made. No one responds after that.
The Airtel team have been continuously claiming to have refunded me in March but have not shared the proof of transaction ever. I have shared my bank statement showing that the refund was never made.
The team has to validate their records and refund me at the earliest.

    Dear Sir, I am a Airtel user for 6 years. My Airtel no is [protected]. I had recharged with 1GB 3G net for internet. At that time my total talktime was 186 Rs. On 4th May (Monday) while surfing net my Internet limit was exhausted and an amount of 186 Rs was debited from my account without any information. I did not received any information that my data pack was exhausted. It is not possible to check our balance data limit after every usage. It is simply loot of my money. If I had been informed I could have done another recharge of net balance. As per the latest guidelines of TRAI, you should inform the customer when 80% & 90% of the data plan is exhausted.But i did not received any such communication. Need your kind help to resolve this matter as Customer Care Executive of Airtel has denied my reversal request & Ignored my problem. Regards Sourav Chandra [protected]

      Dear sir, The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has reduced ceiling tariffs for national roaming service from May 1 and directed telecom companies to offer special roaming tariff plan from the same date. According to the reduced tariff outgoing local voice call on roaming will cost Re 0.80/minute while incoming local call charges on roaming will be Re 0.45/minute. Outgoing local SMS on national roaming will now cost 25 paise per SMS from the present Re 1. But now airtel charged local sms rates rs 1... not reduced 25 paise... I have asked airtel customer service he told 'not applicable for your number. Please take action against airtel.. my last sms sent date 4.5.2015 time 10.36pm sms charged rs 1.         Hi, After 10 years got my Airtel number disconnected in June 2014 . They owe me 960/- reimbursement since then. Now it is may 2015 I have contacted the customer care several times since JUly 2014. Mailed the customer care and the Nodal officers since then. I have been given one service request number then another and then another but no resolution. So everytime the customer care or the management they give me excuses and a new service request number. It will be a year next month but I have not got my money. Their excuses everytime since the fist day are as follows Number not deactivated Deactivation takes 15 more days Money will credit only after 60 days After 60 days they said we will send check When no check recieved they said we cannot send cheque so provide bank details When bank details were given they did not respond to my mails When I raised a complaint they gave me a new service request number Next when I asked for update they said they validated the records and that the money has already been reimbursed I sent a bank statement to show that they were lying and their records are not right then they gave ma new service request number Then several follow ups and mails no update Last week end of Apr 2015 I got another service request but no reimbursement yet, Today was the date they agreed to reimburse but the team came back to me telling that it was credited in mar which again is fake records, when I provided evidence of bank statement once again and shared all the previous communications they state that the team is still working on it and will be resolved shortly. So it is a year now since I disconnected and Airtel team has been hopelessly poor in their service and compliant resolution. What can I do now, I am very sure Airtel will not give my money back. When I googled I found that am not he only customer with such complaints Airtel has had long list of such unresolved issues with lots of its customers.           Dear all, Before leaving for Mathura on 27 april2015 I have done a recharge of 91 Rs for internet. At that time total talktime in mobile no-[protected] was more than 800 Rs. On Friday 1st May while surfing net my internet limit was exhausted and an amount of 650 Rs was debited from my account without any information. I did not received any information that my data pack was exhausted. I was not informed that my data plan's limit was exhausted hence i was under the impression that no extra charges for surfing will be levied as we cannot check our balance data limit after every usage. It is simply loot of my money. Had i been informed i could have done another recharge of 91 and saved 550 rs. As per the latest guidelines of TRAI you should inform the customer when 80% & 90% of the data plan is exhausted. But i did not received any such communication.           Your claiming is absolutely right. That same thing was happened to me on 4th May, 2015. My Airedale Prepaid number is [protected].
          Without sending any kind of Low Data Alert message they deduct my whole balance of Rs.188. They can not deduct the main balance in such a way. It's not the right policy. Hence I claimed to refund my money back but they ignore my problem every time. I am really disappointed with sort of thing. I request the authority to consider this mater & take necessary action.

            Sir/Madam I recharge mob([protected]) for call rate cutter and the same was successfully recharged. But i didnt get any benifit from that‚ as i have been charged with old rate.When i approached customer care executive for the same‚ i was told that because of some technical issues the plan was not activated . Further they registered a complaint against the issue(ref No. CBNRV[protected]).when i asked for deducted amount to forefeit ‚ i was told that deducted amount will not refunded at all.

              I approach to Airtel for new Broadband connection. One of company's representative Mr. Rony Das (Mob - [protected]) came at my office as on 28.04.2015. I agree for one of the plan of Rs. 1, 299/- PM and i issued a cheque of Rs. 7, 298/- against receipt no. KLPA813544. He told me that connection will be installed on 29.04.2015. On 29.04.2015 one person came and he checked my office and after that he told that he will come latter. But till date no one came for the installation of broadband connection and no action taken from their side. I am calling him frequently but he is avoiding my call and not responding it. I am felling just like cheated by them. i am not able to do my office work due to no Internet connection due to that i am bearing the loss of revenue. Please look into the matter and do the needful.                 This is regarding the wrong information given by the supervisor of call center for roaming recharge of Rs.196 instead of Rs.194 on 4th may 2015 at 4.22 pm. 196 is recharge for 3g net and not for roaming free this is totally wrong information which is provided by the customer care . if you have the recording saved you can have the reference e of the recorded call for the same.Mr.Sachin was the supervisor whom I have spoken. and he has given the information regarding the recharge which is misleading.

                  I am using Airtel prepaid connection. For the same, activated Internet 1GB pack. While using the Internet, my data was existed and got message. Immediately turned off Internet connection within seconds. But total prepaid balance amount was become ZERO within seconds. This not acceptable to me and i want my prepaid deducted amount to be reinstalled in my account. As a reputed company, this type of practice not good. Expecting immediate action in this regard.

                      This is in regard to the bill generated on April 20, 15 for mobile number [protected], address - 48, Bharati colony, Preet Vihar, Delhi - 92. There are some severe discrepencies in the bill amount. In the past six months bill where the amount was always in the bracket of Rs 800-850, even when I made international calls from this number. This is the first time the bill amount has gone almost doubled with Rs 1805. I made a plan change on the insistence of your customer care executive who gave me an assurance the bill wont exceed from Rs990. The issues here are listed below: *I was told that Rs 550 (in addition to Rs 990) had been charged for international calling. First I would like to bring to kind notice that the calls were made on the following number - Phone:[protected] Mobile:[protected], the calls were never answered. I have a proof in a form of emails I sent to the concerned person that the calls were never answered. Thus the amount was deliberately and falsely added into the bill amount. * Second, the service charge worth Rs 188 has been added to the bill amount. I was told while opting for the plan that the plan has been offered to me keeping in mind my current usage and it will never go up from Rs 990, if I stick to my current usage pattern, which has remained the same. The earlier bill amounts of Rs 850 were including this service tax. I thought that while paying 100 ruppes more, I will be getting some extra benefits in a form of more free calls or lesser call rates, but here I was fooled by Airtel by making me shell out Rs 300-350 for same usage. This is so appalling how Airtel dupe customers like this. * Thirdly, executive told me that I was also charged seperately for calling landlines. I am speechless on this kind of apathy you guys have been using to make fool of customers. Airtel records show that I made last international call on April 21, 15. The phone numbers mentioned here are of Indian Embassy Kyrgyzstan. On the same day, I informed the MEA official over email that I am not able to speak to him over the phone as his phone is not answering. I have emailed the Airtel customer care team at [protected]@aitel.in proofs of the email conversation. But despite this, they are not ready to reverse the charges. Since I have all the proofs with me, I will approach the consumer court if Airtel hasn't addressed the issue asap.

Further I want to bring to your Knowledge that the Number is used by my mother and she has just work of attending the call and requesting call thats it nothing she does with her mobile phone except that. And this is to acknowledge you for your traditional reply that its activated or used from your end and so on. So better make it clear that I dont want theses idiotic and nonsense replies from you.                           I am using the Airtel sim in Kerala circle only for internet and also I have auto debit feature where every month 149 INR will be deducted for 1 GB 2G data. On May 3rd my 12.00 my data was expiring, so to make sure I have continous internet I have recharged for 110 RS and my balance was 181 RS maintaning sufficient balance to debit for internet pack. Next day morning when I woke up (slept with data ON) the balace was 118 RS and internet was not activated. When I called up the customer care the info I got was it will take one hour to activate the next month internet. From 12.00 to 1.00 AM 62 RS was deducted and no balance for auto debit. This is rediculous I have activated auto debit for continous internet and now I am stuck here. If this was the case I would have went to shop and recharged, why will I go for auto debit!!! The response from customer care was really rude, she was like "if you want to recharge it manually cancel auto debit and go for it". When I told I am going to disconnect the sim as I am unhappy with the service and such details where never informed, she is like she is ok with that!!! That's a bloody hell of service!! 1.The delay with auto debit is not informed. 2. This is how airtel deal with customers? You just lost another customer! Ref no: CBDMO[protected]

                            The Airtel is not deactivating the Imlee WAP weekly service from my mobile number [protected] despite my repeated request. All my SMS to stop this service is reported SMS not sent, thus waisting my precious time to send the message time and again but in vain.                                 I've surrendered my land line cum broadband on Dec 24th 2014 and since then I'm following up with Airtel to refund my security deposit of Rs 3000/-. While the policy states refund within 45 days, its' been approx five months now ... I have written numerous mails and called up customer care numbers hundreds of times but in vain. Every time each executive has a new excuse or just lies about sending me a cheque. I've also mailed my bank details 9 times so far requesting for a bank transfer but nothing has happened!                                   i had purchased 2g internet plan on my mobile [protected] on 27th april 20015. But internet is not working on my mobile when i complained this to customer care no support by Airtel Customer care .after calling they disconnect my problem so please resolve my issue.                                       For the past 7 months i have been using Airtel Postpaid CUG sim-[protected] taken from HCL Technologies where i am presently working. Each month i am made to pay some 300-400 rupees extra just because the system, as per the nodal and appelate authorities, is generating bills wherein i have send SMS to a specific number which, as per them, is an ISD one belonging to Bangladesh. on confirming with the respective user of the number as well as with authorities, that number belongs to West Bengal which stands to be STD. This made me to add a '0' before the 10 digit number but in the bill it is taking as '00' instead of one single '0' making it an ISD number. i raised the issue to the customer care a couple of times and also went upto the level of Nodal Authority and Appellate officer for southern region but instead i am getting blamed for the issue. I informed them i am not going to pay the bill for the month of April until and unless it is getting solved. FYI, for the month of April, i got a bill of 1173 out of which Rs. 620 is taken for that ISD issue. Request immediate assistance for this problem as it is persisting for quite a long time now and i am getting no help from the respective authorities from Airtel, which strangely is regarded as the country's biggest telecom operator. Thankyou!!
