I have been using the Airtel Broadband and Landline connection for past 5 years and now I requested the airtel to cancel my Broadband line and keep the land-line alone active and I have enquired with the Customer care representative regarding the prices for the land-line connection alone.. At the first instance, a lady representative spoke to me and informed me that the plan of INR 250 / month excluding taxes.. The Next day, i called again the Customer care to confirm the same but this time, they were telling me the different plan as there is no plan of INR 250, there is a plan of only INR 350 excluding taxes.. After a long discussion with the customer care representative, I confirmed to go-ahead with the 350 plan and they have made a request too (request #: 52476178 &[protected] and informed me that within 4 working days, a verification call will be done.. But here the problem continues as I got a call after 4 working days from backend people of airtel and they informed me that there is no plan of INR 350 and the plan starts only of INR 400 excluding taxes. This is hectic, irritating and a worst behaviour they showed on me. how can i trust the service provider if they are telling the wrong information every-time. Pls advice and assist on the above

    To The AIRTEL Customer care My AIRTEL let 4G number is [protected] and alternate number is [protected] Previous month my data limit was 40 GB which automatically turn into 30 GB Without any information. I have spoken to customer care and they informed me that After 30GB is chargeable . My usage was finished within 10 days which I feel was inappropriate. .I feel it was false .       I had an Airtel mobile connection - [protected]. Airtel revised my bill plan without any intimation or permission. I sent multiple emails to customer care to restore my bill plan back to the original plan, but it was of no use. I stopped paying the bills since they charged exhorbidant amounts on my bill without reason and therefore airtel disconnected my number. Airtel executives started to call me for payment of bill dues. I explained each and every executive who called me my issues and reasons for not setting the bill, however, nobody understood (you see airtel has employed very dumb executives). I received a final mail from their officer regarding my bill settlement and i replied to the officer to call me to discuss this matter. I didnt mind paying legitimate dues. But changing the bill plan without intimation and my permission is uncalled for. Today, i received a call from [protected]. They claimed to be calling an advocate of airtel from Delhi High Court and asking me to settle the dues withtin the next hour or else i will have to face penalty of Rs. 20, 000 (for a bill amount of Rs. 875) and appear in Delhi High Court the next day. I came upon this site and knew this number was fake. Shame on Airtel for stooping so low and sharing customer information with third-party agencies. Further, please emlpoy proper staff who can help the customers and not harass them with repeated calls.

      Hello,
      Somebody called me from same number ie [protected] and asking for Sagar Malhotra, working in wipro technologies in rajiv gandhi IT park. I dont know where it is located and who is sagar malhotra. y name is Rajarao Ravi and I stay in mumbai. first of all he is not ready to talk clearly but saying 4 police will come and then they will make you understand as Sagar Malhotra I dont know who is he who did some fraud he was saying.

      He simply trying threatening me... is this number from airtel or some other company?? Is this fake call or what??

        Took a new connection from Airtel store in Galleria market, Gurgaon. Submitted all documents but the connection did not get activated even in 10 days, even after numerous calls to the store (and every time they guaranteed would resolve it in 2 hours). I even went to deposit the same documents once again and a new SIM card was given, but even that did not work. Frustrated, I decided to surrender the SIM and take my money back. Unfortunately, the store people were more than happy to do so! What a shame, especially when its by such an old telecom player in India. Customer service at its lowest!!!

          Since, 9th of January 2015 my mobile no.[protected] was not getting any signal. Whenever, i try to contact this number from my alternative no.[protected] and others, it used to connect some other person of Hyderbad. Subsequently it is learnt that my SIM was exchanged without my consent. On making repeated/several complaints to the customer care of Airtel, finally said that it was done by MISTAKE at some of the Airtel store. Instead rectifying the same immediately, now the staff of Airtel is insisting me to go to the nearest store and submit some documents for further activation. It is not understood why should a customer be penalised for their internal mistake?

            I am a journalist by profession and already an airtel consumer. My existing number is [protected].. However due to my professional reason i wanted to opt for another parallel number. I had approached customer care and subsequently an agent named javed approached me on 6.01.2015 and on the same day a sim card was deliered at my residence in Delhi. And i paid the salesman an amount of 350/- .The number i was alloted was [protected]. however even after almost 10 days, connection has not been restored.               I am using Airtel prepaid number. Since last 3 days, I am unable to make an outgoing call, instead I get a voice message "There is a temporary suspension on the outgoing calls facility of this number. Please call customer care for more details". I hold enough balance. I raised a complaint regarding this before 3 days and the issue is still open. I speak to customer care 3 to 4 times a days, still none of the highly educated executives in the customer care is able to give a proper response. I checked this sim card with other handsets as well. It doesn;t work; any other sim cards in my handset, it works. There is no damage to the sim card as well. The complaint reference number is : COGCL[protected]. I am really fed up with Airtel service and the way they handle complaints.

                Hello Sir/Madam I am Nikhil Dubey, behalf of Grenland Shelters Pvt. Ltd., We have Ported some numbers from reliance on the name of Greenland Shelters Pvt.Ltd. to Airtel in CUG Plan.At the time of porting those number i have communicated one of Airtel executive Mr. Ranjeet Thakur ([protected]), they committed us for plan of Rs 199.In this plan he committed 1000Mins (Local + National) + 100 SMS per day and also committed for calling will be charged according to seconds.But when i had called to customer care to confirm my plan they told me that my plan was Rs 199 but only 400 min(local + national) will provided to us. I have also doubt about he didnt create CUG yet because my no was ported on 27th Nov, 2014 & i got bill of Rs 204 for no [protected]. RelationShip number of our no is also different for Example: [protected]- [protected] [protected]- [protected] [protected]- [protected] Please look in to this matter, provide me proper solution as earliest..

                    Dear Service provider, I have registered my complaint about constantly balance deductions to your complaint centre (198). they reply me always the same that is we cant help you out this problem is related to your handset.                             This is the very bed experience i have got in this 10days with airtel customer care, i having problam with 3G service, i had loged the complain on 6th of jan, they told me your problam will be done in next 2days, when i called up that day, i spoke with TL Jeckey, he told that, your issue has been resolved, you just switched off then on the handset, but not done, then i called up on 13th jan, they said in your no 3G is not active, i have activated the 3G service, you can enjoy the 3G service in 30min, then again i called up at 7 pm they said i am trainsfering the call to my senier but call has been disconnected in 10 min, now you tell me what to do, there is lots of brand is there. should i take other connection, plz this is the very serious issue..

                              I recharged for rs155 2G internet pack on 31st December 2014. This pack is for 1GB and is valid for 30days. This is the recharge I get done every month. On 9th January (within a week) I was unable to make calls or use the internet. It was when I checked my balance I realised that the internet pack was over and subsequently my entire balance of around rs200 was deducted. That very day I called the customer care for an explanation as it is impossible for a 1GB 2G data to get over in a week with the kind of apps that I have been using (mostly whatsapp and facebook. You can forget to download video or even photo with that kind of speed. So basically just messages). I was told I will get a call back within 24hours. As I did not get any call back I had to call them again after which I was given the same response and was told your complaint is open and you will "surely" get a call back after 24hours. Again the same scene and I had to follow up with them again. This time I requested to speak with a supervisor who was of no better help than "We cannot do anything. You should have complained as your balance was deducted. Your data usage is over." Firstly I had complained as soon as I realised my data usage and balance was over. Secondly I had to follow up with them thrice with the long call hold despite them promising a call back . Thirdly it is impossible for 1gb data to get used in a week when all these months I have used the same internet pack and the same apps. Fourthly I just wanted a valid reason and explanation as to why the data usage was exceeded and like other services they should send a reminder of the % internet data usage exceeded prior.

                                  To whomsoever this may concern, This is to inform you about an ongoing issue with my mother's airtel number (will disclose number if a representative asks). The issue is as follows - Every month an anonymous balance deduction happens all of a sudden without our notice. Initially 69 rupees was deducted in the month of October 2014. The following two months, i.e. November and December 2014, 139 rupess was deducted in each month. In all three occasions I had lodged a complaint with the Airtel customer care about this issue and each time I was guaranteed it wouldn't repeat. The reason for balance deduction on all three occasions was internet usage. And every time the call was escalated to a senior executive who would only give empty promises that the problem would not reoccur. Nevertheless, the amounts were refunded to the number. For the kind information of whoever is reading this, my mother uses Nokia's 100 handset, and all people have the general knowledge that these kinds of handsets have nothing to do with internet. It is not possible to note unknown balance deductions unless one is keeping a keen check on the balance amount after each call. It has gone to an extent that my mother, who is quite aged, has to personally write down balance deductions after each call or SMS to keep a check on anonymous balance deductions. And when such a thing happens she needs to depend on me to make the complaint with the ever-esteemed and so responsible Airtel Customer Care, who give empty promises of the problem to never reoccur. All in vain, as expected, in January 2015 too the same thing has happened. My mother noticed a sudden decrease in her balance. I called the 121 customer care and as usual inquired about balance deductions for the past 2 days, and the executive told me strictly that there were only deductions for calls. Even after I repeatedly asked the executive whether there were any internet usage deductions, she sternly replied negatively and didn't even disclose the last 2 days balance deductions properly, and ended the call. As I wasn't satisfied with this customer 'care' service, I made a call again to 121 to inquire about the same thing. This time another executive answers and gives details of balance deductions including a 69 rupees for internet usage. As I was not surprised, I simply asked her to connect to a senior executive. I repeated the whole story of how this issue has been happening for the past three months, and again I was given the assurance that this would not happen again, which I know are just empty words, with a refund to the number as usual. Now I have come to a conclusion that Airtel is just not trustworthy. And so I have decided to change my mother's service provider from Airtel to any other service in case this happens again, which I am 100% sure will happen. Not only will I change hers but also mine and other relatives' numbers too. As I see no other means to put my problem across I am posting this as a complaint here, of course I know it will not be resolved. Why and how this kind of a lapse can happen from the service of Airtel, is something beyond my comprehension and I simply just don't care. One thing I would like to ask is why people claim to be 'service' providers when their so-called service can't even correct a silly error. From, A super irritated helpless Airtel Customer.

                                  This is an update for this complaint.

                                  1. This issue was not resolved.

                                  2. This complaint was posted here by myself in January, and now it is June. In between these months, there has been unwanted balance deductions on my mother's Airtel number every single month. Upon contacting the customer 'care' in June 2015, as always it wasn't enough speaking to one executive and they transferred my call, hence ended up speaking to four different executives who were giving different reasons for the deduction. All four execs I spoke to didnt give me a clear explanation. And one of them was so rude they don't even what to accept the fact that they don't have their own facts in place.

                                  3. Since no proper explanation was given, neither was the balance refunded, nor has this issue (8-month old issue) been resolved, I have finally ported my mother's prepaid connection out of Airtel. Her number is now ported to Idea, in hopes of getting rid of this long time issue once and for all.

                                  To all the so-called customer 'care' execs at Airtel - YOU SUCK, BIG TIME!!! At this rate I can see Airtel losing a lot of its customers who opt for porting out to other service providers, for good.

                                    My airtel connectivity was very poor and signals are very weak in the night. I asked service provider to check it because we are paying for all channel and utilising a few. During the day time engineer was visited and found the all channel are working. But he start doing something with set top box and cables. Finally set top box stopped working and he said pl pay Rs 500/- and get new one. I said you have damaged so why I should pay. In this regards 2-3 times customer care people called and enforced me to pay Rs 500/- for new set top box. I said I do not going to pay a single Rs. Because this problem is arose by your engineer.                                       With regards to my complaint no 52154674, I had applied for a new broadband connection and paid rupees 1100 as the amount. Despite Airtel refusing a connection stating several problems, they are yet to refund my amount. I have complained to all customer care division in Airtel including their Appellate center, but no response. Please help me. It has been 27 days since they refused the connection, still no Refund

                                        Hi, I am Sandeep Kumar Garg, my mobile no. is [protected](Karnataka). I was having 180 Rs./ balance yesterday night. But today morning whokle balance was 0.0. My mobile data was off. and also I recharged 3G data of 103 Rs. before 3 days back. I was having Same compaint begore 3 months ago. Airtel is always a worst telecom service provides. Except network, they have nothing. So always they foll people to get corrupted money...Corrupted airtel guys who always do corrupt like that. I kindly request to prime minister to stop Airtel service provider from India.
                                        Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
