presently i am in canada and before coming here on 10th of sept I have given in writing to deactivate my no for some time till I returned from my foreign trip. This was done @ chennai, india and immediately my no was deactivated and assured that the no would be kept under SAFE CUSTODY TILL I RETURNED. But this month I have been charged Rs182 and odd for not using the cell from 10th sept AN onwards where as promise was given that every month, only Rs 50 would be deducted. I was not able to open the bill sent to me by email [protected]@yahoo.com as OTP was required which is unusual. Since I have deacivated the no, how could it be possible for me to receive the OTP. Pl clarify before the bill payment date. KRISHNASWAMY. D

      we want to change [protected] number as a personal numbr from a company group no. spoke to customer care n as directed went to 2 airtel outlets fr atleast 7times, .but they r so reluctant n sarcastic, that our work is not done.one of the outlets mos reckless was situated in chandanagar.they just spend time over speaking time.anyways ur problem is we got no objection letter from, but they r saying draft should b in other way .how can one demand any person to draft as it is u want? man thing is whether company stamp s perfect r not? is ur employees r so perfect n drafting.finally we want to 1 thing, whether it can done r shall we leave airtel n go fr any other service.first train ur eployees how to receive customers properly n respond them properly.remember 1 thing artel is not only mobile services.we got so many. finally 1 thng airtel service is worst but signals is good for which reason we r continuing withairtel. thanking you

        Sir, My mobile No. is [protected], An amount of Rs 65.00 has been deducted(21/10/2014, Tuesday, 8:11 Pm) by AT AIRINF, by merely removing an advertisement from the Google search home screen, Suddenly a message was pop up and showed you have activated Model video club service, so an amount 65.00 has been deducted (The total prepaid amount that I was). What is this...?????? is cheating to customer...you at least get it confirmed from the customer for any service or account deduction. Why no confirmation even sent to me, that I could stop any service before starting . This is a cheating to customer... Very bad...

          failed to sumit KYC number disconnected & balance (1000 Rs ) unused. when customer representative impolite extremily ashmed to know that indias leading service providers representative can do this . itas rediculous AIRTELL ...and... Dear Sir/ Madan, I am using prepaid airtell sim with no (+91-[protected]) from last 6 years . and on 19.10.2014 airtell sent me a message to submit id proof with a photo . but I fail to do so due to some reason. On 20 .10.2014 my airtell services is disconnected at 9:30 p.m . next day I went airtell office with documents but they say they cann’t start the services again at that time a had a balance of 1000/_ Rs. What I want from you is their any provision if a customer is failed to submit it”s KYC to prepaid service provider the what about the previous balance ? why does is it not transferable ? please provide a legal document in support of your answer.             I am Rajendra Sharma from Jaipur. I am a prepaid customer of Airtel mobile. since past few days, I've been receiving a message regarding a promotional recharge offer from Airtel according to which on a recharge of Rs.12/- the tariff for local calls will be reduced to 30p/min valid for 60days. (PFA for images of the text message from airtel). I was convinced and got my phone recharged with Rs.12/- on 13th October. I got the recharge successful and scheme activation message and my tariff rates were reduced to 30p/min. However, after a couple of days he tariff rates went back to 90p/min. This scheme was supposed to last 60 days and not just a 2 days! I felt cheated, so I tried calling the customer care of Airtel, but in vain. Every time I was connected to an executive, they were least bothered to solve this issue and out-rightly denied that nothing can be done about it. I called 3 times in the customer care but got the same reply every time. I, then decided to visit the Airtel area office at Tonk Road. They me write my complain on paper. I did and then I was told the complaint will be registered and I will get a complaint number via SMS within an hour. I took the representative's number to take a follow up. Which I didn't even after a day. So I called the representative, he told me to wait another hour. Which I did but nothing happened. My tariff is still the same and neither is my complaint registered. I'm clueless now. Please Help!

              I have submitted a consumer complaint few hours before and received a phone call from +91 [protected]. The person is asking my credit card details to resolve the issue. I was surprised that how can the person from airtel is asking for credit card information. When searching in the web I found that number of people got such fraud call from above number. Now my question why such kind of fraud phone call is exist while number of people got affected. Why our police is kept silent in this issue. Request you to kindly let us know what action you had taken against this fraud phone call.

                my 2G internet validity was expired on 20 oct 2014.At 12.05 a.m I received a message that a sum of Rs.60 has been deducted from my account.I wish I will allow many of my friend circle and my colleagues not to take airtel connection as the services provided by them are worst and definitely i will proceed to consumers court if the necessary steps are not taken by the company

                  I have submitted a complaint just few minutes before regarding Airtel 3G data service" and got a phone call from +91 [protected] and the person is asking for my credit card detail including 3 digit CCV number fro verification. Please let us know why this fellow is asking all credit card information for their verification. How do I know whether the person is calling from consumer complaints department? Please clarify.

                    Kindly note that I have recharge my phone with Rs 251/- for 1GB 3G data for 28 days on 18th October 2014 but found my 3G data is not working although the money is deducted from my credit card. My mobile number is [protected] (kolkata circle) and corresponding transaction ID is 028742. I have inform to your executive several times but they are not able to resolve this issue. On 20th October 2014 at 12:54PM I have discussed with Mr. Rahul Maji your senior executive who assured me that this problem will resolved within 24 hours but nothing happen. On 21st October 2014 at 12:45 PM I have discussed with your another senior executive Prabhat Mondal who assured me that the problem will resolve within 4 hours. Same day around 1:50PM I have received a phone call from Prabhat Mondal (no: +91 [protected]). As per him I have recharge Rs. 252/- and hence I will not get 3G data in my mobile. Now my question is although I have confirmation SMS from 121 about the deduction of Rs. 251/- and same amount has been deducted from my credit card account then why I am not getting the 3G service in my phone. Request you kindly take the immediate action and resolve that issue.

                      Hi, My airtel prepaid number is [protected]. I recharged my number with 2G internet pack of 1 GB last month which got expired on 25th Oct. I saw on 18th that my balance is 70 Rs. and internet data is still around 250MB left. But after that, i was getting the connectivity issue with internet so i tried to call customer care (121) on 19th Oct when i saw that balance is nill also internet pack is also got expired without use. I recharged my number with 120 Rs. again and called 121 but they didn't give my correct explanation only said that balance deduct due to usage of internet after data limit. So on 20th Oct, i recharged my number with 3G internet pack (198 Rs. for 650MB data for 25 days). Now after 1 day (21 oct) when i tried to connect the 3G, i again saw balance is nill and no internet pack is there. So total they deduct 116+70 = 186 Rs. without any reason. Anyone from Airtel, please call me and explain me the deduction.I am thinking of filing consumer complaint in court now seriously. Jitendra

                        Dear Sir/Madam This is for your kind information that I have changed my plan on 14 Oct -14 from Prepaid to Postpaid before Postpaid I used 3G speed when I was recharge 3G plan but since 14 Oct I'm getting 2G speed insted 3G.                             HiI changed my postpaid plan of another number [protected] to prepaid on Aug23rd, 2014 @ Siverline Network Airtel Show room, Adyar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. I infrom them that I am not getting bill details to my email-id, they told to fill the application form to update my email id ([protected]@gmail.com). And after that I paid 460/- balance amt and they provide prepaid SIM card and said that it will activate in 3 days and the postpaid will deactivate in 3 days, this what they said to me and I never get my itemized bill details to my email id as well as my postal address.Few days later they call me again and told me to pay 740/- for the balanced amt, I asked for bill details and I changed that number to prepaid. So, later I paid that amt on Sep-13th, 2014 too.So, totally, I paid 460 + 740 = 1, 200/-Still now I didn't get any bill details, I call the customer car 198 and 121 many times, Later All the CARED people told me to meet the Siverline Network airtel showroom and ask the query. So, Again I went there, He checked my bill details and ask me to pay Rs.600/- blindly he is not ready to hear my query and he told "ONCE YOU PAY THEN ONLY IT WILL WORK UNTIL UNLESS WHERE EVER YOU GO NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO YOU". Even yesterday I talk to 121 CUSTOMER CARED people around 30 mins. At last A person called SUPERVISOR talk to me (Promised me) to activate the prepaid card on Monday 13th-Oct, 2014. but still it is not yet happened.I changed the postpaid to prepaid on Aug 23rd, And the billing period is on 25th of every month. I paid 460/- at that time, then how they charged me 740 for September month and not yet send the bill details. I informed to the so many CARED PEOPLE on THE GREAT AIRTEL, but they have not yet updated and I am still receiving the mail to pay the amt. Last week 16th Oct, they told me it is cleared and you can get new preapid sim in the showroom, So, I went there and again they told me to pay 297/-, which is the rental amt, Still same headache, I tried 121 there and now new story they have started. Later I didn't pay the money and I came back from there. Hope I trust on you !!!

Your persons are making fraud with customers..I have received many calls not to port my nimber with other carrier and greeded me that we will offer you the best plans soon. After this I received many calls to migrate this number to postpay and when I was agreed then a airtel executive came to me asked me $ 250 My DL and PAN copy then henceforth till date after 6 days my number is not migrated while say said that your numbe will start within 24 hours but till date nothing nothing happened. My number [protected] . Now I m going to complain this with nodal officer and consumer forum with Bharti Airtel. Now airtel is collecting money like this. They call customers and offer very inerersting plans then deposite 250Rs and then no contacts further.

                                  I have applied for a new Broadband Fixedline connection on Sep 30, 2014. I have been told that the tags are not available in my area so they cannot provide new me connection. But I got a call from Airtel on Oct 15, 2014 and I have been told that the tags are free now and I can take a new connection in the name of my firm. Same day Mr. Rahul (+91-[protected]) came to my office and collected all the documents with Rs. 1000/- as the installation charges. On the next day (Oct 16, 2014) I got a message from Airtel, "We have received your documents. Your installation request 28013115 is being processed and will take approx. 3 working days. Thank you so much for choosing airtel fixedline/broadband. For queries, please call[protected]". Today (Oct 20, 2014) I got another call from Airtel Installation Department and not I have been told that the tags are not available so I cannot take a new connection and my installation charges will be refunded by Cheque within 20 days. But I refused to take the refund. I tried to contact Mr. Rahul several times but he is not picking up the phone or just say "I'll call you in few minutes". But no reply after that. I request you to look into the issue and resolve my issue asap. I am not going to accept the refund as Airtel is at fault. They contacted me as I can take a new connection so now they should provide me a new connection. My CEF No. is 3757621. Please get this done soon as I am waiting for this line for too long. My business suffers as I have to do the printing work for my Firm's promotion but I need to get the Airtel Landline work done before that so I can use that number in printing. Regards, Deepak

                                  I got another call from Airtel today (Oct 21, 2014). This time Ms. Nandita (+91-[protected]) called me up and kept on saying that the tags are not available in your area so we can't provide you the connection. One thing to note, that I paid Rs. 1000/- installation charges in cash. She said that whether I should cancel the connection and wait for the refund that will come by cheque in 21 days at my address or I could call her back in 1 month to see whether tags are now available or not (What a Joke!). I again notified her clearly that I am not going to cancel the request. She agreed that there might be some tags that are available but needs repairing. So, I asked her to get those fix and provide me connection. But as ussal, (Another Excuse) it will take time. Definitely collecting money from customer is pretty easy but providing service is very difficult. I want you to take immediate action on the same as I am losing my precious time as well as bearing financial loss due to this. Kindly, get this fixed asap otherwise I need to escalate this issue to a higher level.
