I launched a complaint with Airtel customer care and nobody is interested in solving. My complaint is about network issue and One Time Password (OTP). When I was Airte pre paid user, there was no problem in receiving OTP. From banks and others. A month ago I switched to post paid connection. Since then I'm unable to receive any OTP. A launched a complaint, took follow up for 2 weeks. Every time I used to call Customer care, executives used to commit me to provide solution in few hours. My last call to 198 was 18 days ago. No one has called me to date. Second complaint was regarding network issue. In my office everybody has Airtel postpaid connection. But only with me connection used to get dropped for 3-4 seconds while I'm on call. I changed mobile. Problem was still there. I launched a complaint for that as well. Customer care executive said technical team will call you in 24 hours. As I said above is been 18 days to my last call to 198

    I bought my 2 sim before a week. Still it is not activated. E no is [protected]in the name of vijayalakshmi and [protected] in the name Saraswathi . Why it is not activated still? Already I gave one complaint. But it is not attended please do the needful as early as possible.

      Dear folks, I am G Ramdas. My Airtel prepaid number is [protected] from the Karnataka service region. I have activated "58 Rs - 1GB 2G data for one month" offer through USSD *121*1#. According to the offer, I am supposed to get 300MB instantly and remaining 700MB within an hour. But, only 300MB got credited. Remaining 700MB did not arrive at all. And the 300MB which got credited is only valid for 7 days. Airtel is having an option to check current offers called My Best offers by dialling *121*1# The USSD options shown is given below: Press offer no. to know more1 - Rs58=1GB 2G, 30D2 - 18=150 loc SMS3 - Rs55=Rs55 FTT4 - Rs165=1GB 3G, 30D5 - Astro on Demand 99 Main Menu, 44 Back After sending option 1, I got the following response: Press 1 to activate this offer. Rs58=1GB 2G data, 30 days. 300MB instantly, 700MB in 1hr on airtel. To get the offer, dial *121*1#. Offer till 29-Sep-14. I called 198 only to find out that they are disgusting. They say "such offer does not exist". Moreover they say that I am providing wrong information. They misguide me after repeated calls also, I have not been able to get the issue resolved. One customer care guy even told me that it is not 1GB offer but it is revised to 500MB offer and it is already credited to my account and started speaking harshly. This kind of behaviour from the customer care personnel drive me insane. They just keep on transferring calls for no reason. Trust is the cornerstone of any business and cheating customers outright this way is not an ethical practice. I request the concerned people to take note of this issue and prevent such things from happening which will tarnish the image of such a reputed company.

        I had bought a sim (no-[protected]) worth Rs200 aBout 3 weeks ago. It is still not activated. Customer care lines are not giving proper answErs in this regard. I am calling there contInuosly . It is sorry to say that ur SerViCes r ReaLly bad n m really very Annoyed

          I Have purchased 3g dongle on 20/08/14 and it was told that it will take 1 day for activation but nothing happened and on 21/08/14 i spoke to customer care executive, they transferred my call from one department to another and then an engineer from Airtel came and he asked to wait for 5 days, and still no good, i paid 4300rupees in advance for 6 months and customer care executive keep on transferring my call to one desk and then supervisors, i think that they cant get this sorted, its been 01/09/14 and still no good and no one is able to resolve the issue neither provide resolution, as it was clearly mentioned that it will take minimum 90 to 120 days to resolve this issue which is unacceptable as i wont be able to use this service. . Today its 06/09/014 and till now i cant use my Airtel 3g Internet service and Airtel agents notified that if i cancel the services, they wont refund my amount which has been paid in advance, this is really not acceptable, as they cant resolve the issue with Internet as they need to install an equipment in my area which has been mentioned by an engineer who visited premises so can this consumer forum help me with this, i actually don't want to cancel but i cant wait 3 or 4 months to get my Internet services up and working and till then no service at all.Infact i dont want any kind of rebate as well but then atleast they can refund the advance amount as airtle cant resolve issue in quick time and time frame mentioned to resolve which is not a guaranteed time is 90 days or more than 120 days

              Ref: My 4G number [protected] My complaint number (service request[protected] dated April 7th 2014. I was told there is some issue in the network in my area and the most i would have to wait was 3 months. Their technical engineers had come to my place to verify the problem and had mentioned there indeed was a network problem which would be resolved. Its been 4 months now. My problem has gone from bad to worse and I am fed up of all that I have to go through, trusting the so called AIRTEL team. Inspite of all this I have been paying my 4G-postpaid connection bills regularly assuming that services will be rectified after 3 months as was promised by their technical team. I have been waiting for a call for an update on the service request number...Surprisingly today when I called up service support today, they mention there is no service request open... Now I am helpless with their 4g connection, paying 1200 per month, with frequent disconnection problems low download and upload speeds. I would rather have gone in for some other 3g connection. The biggest mistake was to trust your customer service technical team with my problem. We customers are not stupid to listen to their crap that such a complaint does not exist.Whereas Its been only one month since i was updated that the problem will be resolved very soon. Now If they say that the complaint number does not exist then give me the proof that the complaint has been resolved. Dilip Menon [protected]

                Hello, I am a resident of Kokkarne and living in the city limits also Airtel Customer since many years. As I relocated to this place recently I find the network coverage of the Airtel is very poor even though we are not very far from the tower. Though 3G is not being provided the signal strength is so low call getting cut while speaking indoors and No Service flashing intermittently. Its either poor maintanance or the low transmission power. Many within the area of Temple and Biridge complaining the same and later on opting for alternative service provider instead of letting the Airtel know about the poor quality of service. Hope concerned may look in to the matter at an earliest date and fix the issue.                     My Airtel Postpaid no is-[protected], without any information my incoming calls is stop from 2nd sept, I make out going calls no problem with that, But not recd.any incoming calls, when any one call me its says either switch off or not reachable. In 3rd sept i complain to airtel at 2.40 pm, Mr. Somnath Das & Mr. Piyush Mondal assure me that with in 48 hrs my problem will be solved, But till now its not solved, Again i call the customer Care no & speak to Mr. Shib Pal & Sn. Supervisor Mr. Rajib Debnath they directly told me they can't solve my problem, so that mean my problem not solved ?? if it is not solve in 1 day i will go higher step & claim to airtel for not attending business calls, Note My Complain ID is - [protected].

                      I have re-charged an amount of Rs.200/- to my prepaid mobile number ([protected]) through airtel site (www.airtel.in), by directing through Citrus. After deducting the amount from my bank account, the amount was not credited to my mobile number. Instantly, I dialled 198 and talk to representative of Service Centre, but they did not response to grievances/problem; thereafter they disconnected the line usually after processed from the service centre to the main line twice.                             I have a mobile [protected] with Airtel as service provider. I am on a regular monthly internet package of Rs.98 for 21 days. I was on roaming from 29th aug to 4thSept. I think my renewal came up on 2nd sep. But I was unaware that Airtel had not renewed it. I was under the impression that i was on Rs.98...21 day package...bit recharged for DRs.300 on 2nd and recharged on 3rd for Rs.300 and only on recharging on 4th ...on contacting Airtel I was told that all these money had gone down the drain because Airtel had not renewed my Rs.98 package for 21 days. BUT on 4th sep...they send me an SMS that my package is over and asking me to recharge for my Internet package. This is sheer negligence and very poor and indifferent customer service and therefore I want Airtel to pay me or recharge for the Rs.600..I have lost...

                              Recharged for Rs155 I got around 700+MB of data with 20 days validity. Their plan promised 1GB data for 30 days. I have Airtel Money which can be used for recharging at my convenience. When I called them up and asked for reason, they said you shouldn't have used airtel money for recharge. This is clear case of misleading the customers. Also even though I had enough balance in the prepaid pack their customer grievances cell did not allowed my call saying "I don't have a sufficient balance". I believe this is at the cost of customer, the services provider is trying to give explanation for their mistake. They should not charge for Grievances redressal.

After 3 days i.e. on 30.08.2014 Airtel representative visited my home to handover SIM and collect my documents. Since then there is no word from Airtel. I had made several complaints to Customer Care, nodal office and so called Appellate Authority but they have no clue as to why SIM is still not activated.                                     I had seen the offer at *121*11# on Airtel, Offer was that If we recharge 124 RS, we will receive 1 GB 2G data with 30 days validity.hence I had recharged on 3 numbers ([protected], [protected], [protected]). But I received only 625 MB 2G data with 18 days validity. So I called to costumer care and they replied me that I have to recharge with my mobile then I get above offer If I recharge by retailer then I do not get that offer. I am shocked because It were not mentioned any where that I have to recharge with my mobile So this is the way to cheat customer, I hope that Airtel will be punished.

Amongst following nos. onlys 4 nos. are converted to Vodafone but when we discussed with Vodafone about the portability from Airtel to Vodafone, they told that porting requesting is cancelled by Airtel. Kindly accept the porting for following nos. And if you are not able to do the porting then please let us know for further action.                                         Dear Airtel Team, I have to state that I am Mr. Sumit Gupta from Faridabad. I want to be converted my Airtel prepaid to airtel post paid. Regarding this, my conversation was with Ms. Deepika, Ms. Nidhi, Ms. Aarti (+91-[protected],[protected] & +91-[protected]) & many of others. They have guide me for the 299/- plan. I want to choose the 299/- plan. After the conversation Airtel Executive has come to meet me & i have submit all the related documents with fee Rs. 200/- to Mr. Amit ([protected], Airtel / Address: Broadwin, Plot No. 10, Paschim Enclave, Pirahadi, New Delhi). Now i have found that the executive & all they have put the wrong guidance to me. Also whenever i want to talk on above number (+91-[protected]) then no one is taking the calls; if anybody take the call then they told me it is wrong number. Also please note that as per discuss with Mr. Rajeev Bhagwan (+91-[protected],[protected]/ Address: Broadwin, Plot No. 10, Paschim Enclave, Piraghadi, New Delhi); he has no information about all this happening. He is saying that i will receive the calls from Mr. Vivek (Airtel, +91-[protected]). After half an hour i called that number but no reply. Please give me any solution about all this ASAP.
