Hi, I am Kunal. My number is [protected]. I had taken airtel connection in CUG grp. Its a post paid connection for last one year the bills were very less after 1 year my bills started increasing and they were charging too much on data charges. I only use whatsapp, emails and sometimes facebook but I dont think using these apps can cost me 3000 bucks. Please try not to fool people and charge them on data charges. U people cannot give explanation on what I have downloaded. You cant just randomly charge. I need a proper explanation on this. KIndly get back to me at earliest.

    Hi Airtel Team, I opted airtel Tech Mahindra 299 corporate connection which contains 5 Gb of 2G pack on 12 aug 2014. i conformed 121 customer care officers that I satrted postpaid connection on 12 aug 2014 and 26 aug is billing cycle so how many Gb of free internet uses my pack contains. They conformed sevral times that i will get 5120 MB of 2G pack in current bill cycle. after this conformation this internet uses mail surprised me that after 2312.258MB i have to pay extra charges which i had not informed before 2G plan activation through sms/email, and when 80% 2G uses allert came "Your mobile Internet usage as on[protected] is 1885.3Mb which is 81% of the built in usage as per your mobile internet bill plan. Post consumption of built in usage, you will be charged Rs. 10.24 per MB Mobile internet bill plan active on your airtel mobile [protected] is 5GB GPRS Free Therafter 10p/10KB Without Rental " On 26 aug, I called 121 officer and again conformed that my 2G plan free uses is 5GB and this alert is with wrong figures of 2G uses limit, the same airtel officer conformed. After that on 26 aug evening around 6 Pm I found my 2G service barring ( disconnection ), I informed that i will get 5120 MB of 2G but this is not followed, i am not able to use 2g internet plan and invalid data charges of Rs 10942.77 for data use. One more question My credit limit is Rs 500 and i conformed to 121 officer that call & data uses will not exceed Rs 500 after this limit then why bill is data uses charge exceds more than Rs 500 any how. I will write complain on consumer form & blogs that airtel bill misguided me and harassed me by barring (disconnection ) of 2G internet for invalid regions . This billing issue came across me twice by airtel and many of my friends are also suffering from charging money for invalid reasons so we will collectively go to airtel office and consumer forum and complain against this if these issue is not resolved soon .           Today I recharged my airtel number with an amount of Rupees 49 for the night 3G pack of 1GB data, at around 3:30 pm. The recharge was succesfull, but the the pack have not been activated till now (1pm), I called customer care service several times, one time they picked the call and didnt respond, other time they told me to hold and then hung up. Now I can't use internet as it deduces my balance since the pack has not been activated. Now as it ticks 6am my 49 rupees will be wasted.

                Dear Sir/Madam, I am Anand Tiwari from Bhopal an my mobile number is [protected]. Some time before I visited https://pay.airtel.com/online-payments/citiResponsePrepaid.do web site for recharging my mobile for full talk time of Rs.200. When I provided my Credit Card details and submit the button. It shows me a message the "Webpage can not be display", and they deducted 200 rupees from my bank account but they did not provide me the balance of Rs. 200 in my mobile account. When I call to customer care they said they did not received any payment and said me to transfer my call to there seniors but they disconnect my call two times.                 Someone called me from +[protected] few minutes before and telling me that his name is Rohit Gupta and he is calling from Airtel and they are not able to return my payment on my credit card and he was asking for my other bank ATM card details.
                I provide the details of ICICI debit card which have no balance and I'm not using it.

                He asked me dabit card number, expiry date and cvv number I provided the same but in last he asked me pin number which I denied. He said I will get my payment only when I share the pin number with him.

                Thank god I'm not using that card.

                Is there any way to take action against that person??

                  After selecting a recharge of Rs 330 for number:[protected] on date 27 August 2014 transaction was shown successful in Citrus but failure in Airtel window.Transaction amount is already subtracted from my account without any refund. I have already reported my issue to airtel via sending email to [protected]@in.airtel.com. But I am yet receive any reply. whats more frustating is that every time i tried to lodge complaint in Airtel portal, upon entering verification code its showed me message "please enter valid verification code as mentioned in black box." Its like it is programmed to not to accept any complaints whatsoever. This leaves consumer no other option but resort to consumer forums. All I hope is to get my money back

                    I bought Airtel dish from my friend(Customer ID: [protected]). I'm unsatisfied with their price and offers. So I plan to disconnect from their service. I did not recharge to the device for the last few months. I got lot of calls and sms from Airtel customer care, Recharge, recharge, recharge... Basically, I'm not interested with their service. But, they wont to stop to promote. I don't know what I can do. So, I suggest you, If you have plan to buy a dish, Don't choose Airtel. It's irritating service. They will disturb you until the end., Thanks

                    Hi,

                    I got a call from Airlel support executive, They gave two option to stop the calling service

                    1. Surrender the device (They wont refund anything, but we need to surrender stop the stupid calling service).
                    2. Continue recharge (Already, i'm not satisfied with their service, then why i need to choose this option)

                    Most of my friend also facing this issue.

                    So please consider this facts, before buying airtel dish tv.

                    I hate their service fully.

I contacted customer care and they said only Rs.80/- can be refunded and refused to refund the deducted money of Rs.169/-. They answered in a rood manner.                               Hi I am Deepak Kapoor. Fixed Line Number : [protected] Mobile Number : [protected] I am a Airtel customer and have been using the Airtel broadband from quite a time. Recently I took a new connection for the new place I shifted to in Bangalore, Karnataka. I took the 2 Gbps plan with 30 GB free download and 1000 free calls. I am regretting on the decision as the Internet speed is not proper. Everyday I am getting a speed of less than 512 Mbps every day which is slower than what I can use in my 2G mobile phone. I called customer care and they told me that this will keep happening as some work is going on. On the question that why everyday the speed is so slow the reply I got was that speed is like that only in my area and it will be resolved which never happened. I got a monthly bill now but the question is why should I pay when I am not getting the services. Its a disgrace on Airtel broadband. I will not pay bill until I get the services which I opted at the time of connection. Attaching the screenshot for reference.

                              This is following the complaint that was resolved in the starting of this month. But now the issue is airtel has disconnected my connection on non payment. The question is for what service pay them. For over a month I didn't got the service which i was suppose to get that is 2Mbps and instead of that i was getting every time 0.4 Mbps which is way below the agreed plan. So should i pay for this?

                              How can they disconnect without talking to me.

                                I am a 7 years old Airtel broadband customer, last month when I decided to terminate the connection (because of high rental plans) customer care offered me a cheaper plan and told me I would not be charged for PC secure which was there in my current plan. This month when I got charged for PC Secure (note : bill says that heading as DSL Usage Charges) I called them up and one manager named Gopal told me you yourself have enabled it (he was so arrogant and annoying in behaviour as well) while I continuously told him 1.I haven't enabled it and 2. I got a SMS that I will be charged rs. 125 for PC Secure.. But that poor mental was unable to understand that.. This is pure cheating from Airtel side.. God bless them..

                                  I’m owning a hp Smart phone – hp Slate 6. My concern on your billing and your service . Ever since I have taken 3g service from airtel not even single day it was working for me on my phone. And every time I raise this concern with customer care and get my bill corrected. More over Service providers from Cal centers have raised their voice to higher management on this or not ; im wondering on it. May be look for Customer satisfaction and their feedback would help you in earning good relationship with customers. Now I wanted my bill to get corrected and only 2G service would be beneficial to me though. Kindly change my billing services to 2G and do needful.

                                    I had Rs.9.59 balance from my previous balance as of 21-AUG-2014 and a 760.00 MB data valid till 3-SEP-2014. I recharged my Phone for Rs.100.00 on 21-AUG-2014 at 7.19 PM via Paytm. Then another recharge was done for Rs.220.00 (full talk time) on 22-AUG-2014 at 11.11 AM through e-recharge. My total talk time available as on 22-AUG-2014 as per the sms I received at 11.11 AM was Rs.314.87 The total usage for my talk time since 21-AUG-2014 was not more than Rs.13.00. However when I tried making a call on Friday night (22-AUG-2014), the automated voice said my balance was less than Rs.5.00. I could not even call Airtel Customer care service as their calls are chargeable. I had to take a credit of Rs.40.00 from Airtel to speak to them. However the executives were totally unhelpful and diabolical in handling the calls. They kept on long Holds/mute and could not provide any satisfactory reason as to why the balance was deducted. Please note: All this time my Internet Data was 759.66 MB valid till 3-SEP-2014 I spoke with the first agent (on 121) whose only explanation after placing me on mute for 10 mins was that it was due to my data usage which was totally incorrect and a misinformation. I then spoke with a guy named Naveen. Twice in fact (on Airtel cmr no 198) who also placed me on mute and was very rude and did not have any idea of what he was suppose to check and disconnected me twice saying he was transferring my calls to his seniors. Then I had to redial the number YET once again and spoke with a guy named Sunil who finally took the responsibility of logging the complaint (CBDMO[protected]) but was disconnected again when he tried transferring the call to his seniors. I finally spoke with an agent named Deepak who also was totally unhelpful and did not know his job at all. His only solution was that I make another recharge and 'turn off' my net pack. All this calls was made with the credit I took from Airtel and had exhausted the funds due to which further calls could not be made. Finally I had to make another recharge for Rs.50.00 as I was to go out of station within the next hour. My Query is : My DATA Pack was still within limit with available MBs and I had not made any calls which could have usurp all my talktime of Rs. 314.87 within a few hours I received a call this morning regarding my complain no (CBDMO[protected]) and was told that the balance was deducted due to my Internet usage on 22-AUG-2014 which I find is totally rubbish and untrue as I still have my DATA of 693.26 MB left from my DATA package of RS.156 which I recharge with every month.

                                    I had to take a credit of Rs.10.00 from Airtel to speak to them and not 40.00 as mentioned above. That was a typing error.
                                    But non-the-less my time and money was wasted trying to speak to an executive who knew his job. Apart from the Service, the customer service is pathetic and dialing 121 or 198 has never helped. Honestly Airtel should not hire to address consumer grievances.

                                    When I was called back this morning, the agent said the deduction was due to my DATA charge which could happened when my DATA pack service was down which is again incorrect and baseless. How can an Internet be used when the service is down.
                                    Everyone knows that You cannot make a call when service is down..forget using NET. Net is the first thing which will not work when Service is down or low, when you might still be able to make calls with poor voice clarity. I was provided Rs.100.00 talk time as a goodwill gesture which I find, is not good enough given the trouble and the pain I had to go through trying to speak to someone. To top it all, it was not my fault and solely the fault of the Service provider and the they employ.

                                        I have a Blackberry internet plan for which I pay Rs 399/-to Airtel every month. The company started charging me for data usage againdespite the plan payment being made. This is the second time the same thing hashappened in a year. First time was in Oct 2013 and the company had refunded Rs53/- to me stating that this was an error on their part. When I called the callcentre for the issue that started happening recently again, I was told toignore the message as no money was being deducted. However, after making anote, I see that minimal balance is being deducted. I spoke to 4 differentAirtel agents last night, everyone had a different theory before theydisconnected the calls. I paid for these calls. Finally I asked to speak to asupervisor and to my misfortune spoke to a guy called Shyam Kashyap, who wasnot only rude but refused to help. He said that there was a technical fault butno refund will be made for the balance deducted. On telling him that a refundwas done last time, he told me it was not his problem and he does not know whathappened last time in Oct 2013. I realized I was wasting my time anddisconnected the call. I called the 198, complaints number in the morning andAirtel made my day. The first guy I spoke to said as resolution has been given, there is nothing he will do to help unless I had a different concern. I toldhim that despite switching my phone off net charges were still being deducted.He disconnected the call. I called gain and spoke to an agent who stated thatdespite 198 being a complaints helping Airtel as a company does not have a ‘complaintsprocedure’. They do not log any service related concerns. The agent also toldme that if I use airtel grps, I will be charges for data usage. My question to theagent was, ‘How would I know whether I am using Blackberry browser or airtelgprs’ as there has been no change in the way I access net. The reply was ‘I don’tknow’ and I cannot help you. After 10 agents later, and still no resolution Iam disappointed by the service provided by Airtel as a company. The companyreally has not been able to solve my problem and my net usage is still beingdeducted. The supervisor stated that there was a loop that happens in whichsometimes networks get stuck. My point is, as a customer how would I know thata loop is happening. His response, I don’t know and I cannot do anything tohelp. I will not refund any charges to you because I don’t want to do it. Iwill not be renewing my data services with Airtel as I feel the company isunprofessional and cheats people. Also, if this is the way they treat acustomer from 2006, I am thoroughly disappointed with their response to aconcern.

                                        I got a call from the Airtel Nodal office yesterday and they have refunded Rs 150/- back to me for the harassment and the incorrect charges taken. However, the issue is still not resolved. Since yesterday, charges are still being deducted from my account and the balance continues to go down. I have sent a separate mail to the Nodal office and will update you if I receive any update.
