Hi, My number is [protected] (Chennai circle) and I have done recharge of 249 after seeing the recharge offer in airtel.in for 1GB 3G data on 30th aug 2014. Recharge was successfull...but data balance didnot come...instead PF balance has come...I ma not sure what is PF balance and why airtel is mentioning this offer in online. When I called customer care, one lady received the call and she was speaking in tamil only... When I asked her to speak in english which i cant understand tamil, she simply kept in hold and disconnected...when i tried again she did the same thing... I dont know why Airtel having this much reputation and hiring these kind of people which they dont know common english... I demand an explantion and my money back regarding this from Airtel.         I Have purchased 3g dongle on 20/08/14 and it was told that it will take 1 day for activation but nothing happened and on 21/08/14 i spoke to customer care executive, they transferred my call from one department to another and then an engineer from Airtel came and he asked to wait for 5 days, and still no good, i paid 4300rupees in advance for 6 months and customer care executive keep on transferring my call to one desk and then supervisors, i think that they cant get this sorted, its been 01/09/14 and still no good and no one is able to resolve the issue neither provide resolution.

        Till now i cant use my Airtel 3g Internet service and Airtel agents notified that if i cancel the services, they wont refund my amount which has been paid in advance, this is really not acceptable, as they cant resolve the issue with Internet as they need to install an equipment n my area which has been mentioned by an engineer who visited premises so can this consumer forum help me with this, i actually don't want to cancel but i cant wait 3 or 4 months to get my Internet services up and working and till then no service at all.

          I Have been paying for 3G service at my house for Airtel 3G for more than a year. 4-5 times the engineer has visited my place but the problem has not yet been fixed. I have been paying for a service which i am not getting properly. The 3G service and network at my place is pathetic and the company is not doing anything about it. Please help

            i had a query on my bill for Aug 2014. my usual bill is around Rs.600-700, and i got a bill of Rs1500 and i wanted to know why. the plan i have is 299 call and 250 data for 1GB .and my bill ends on 25 of every month.and on 24 i got a msg telling am exceeding the data plan and so i called the airtel to add a one time packet. the executive told why i need to add as in short time ie.25 midnight it will become the next month.so he didnt add the packet .and now it the bill has come so high. my complaints: 1.why doesnt the airtel be very clear on the charges. 2. Rs.150 PACKET 500 MB and for 400 MB without packet Rs.1200 !! what type of calculation and difference is this!? IT ISNT LOGICAL. and i bet most of the customer wont know this. Rs.3 per MB !! and not even 3G ! 3.when i was discussing this, the executive(customer care KR puram bangalore) Ms anushka started speaking rudely to me ! if she is so short tempered she shouldnt be in the customer care center . the conversation between me and the executive is recorded i want the airtel higher authority to hear to it . 4. and the worst part, when i wanted to complain on the executive, they never gave a no. and 1 executive when asked where exactly the office is situated he told i dont know the address as i am new to the job. i wasted all my morning but couldnt find a direct line to any of the higher managers or authorities to report this. is this how airtel functions?? am still skeptical on whether my query and action will be taken on that executive my no.[protected] and further more 3 times my data plan was changed without my consent and n asking they reverted back to original plan. hoping AIRTEL becomes more transparent, clear on charges(even the SMS sent by airtel doesnt tell how much charges !! it only says charges applicable) and hope AIRTEL customer care are more friendly and helpful and finally let there be contact no. of a higher authority to be contacted on any problems.

              I hope you are well!

              I have been using an Airtel Prepaid connection from the Past 5 years

              This is to bring to your notice that from the last few days I have been facing an issue with the 3G connection in my phone. And the same has not been functioning at all.

              I got my phone recharged on Aug 23, 2014 for Rs. 255 through an E Recharge and it gave me 1.25 GB 3G data for 28 days. However, 3G on my phone has not been working ever since and instead of ‘3G’ it shows an ‘E’. I have made numerous complaints for the same but have not received satisfactory responses.

              For your convenience, mentioned below are the complaint reference no. for the complaints made:

              I am highly dissatisfied with the kind of services provided and the customer Care Service provided by Airtel.

              Since the service I payed for is not being provided due to a network issue with Airtel services, I would like to get a refund of the amount payed as well as a compensation for the inconvenience caused. Also, I would like airtel to fix the issue with my connection so that I can use 3G connection.

              I hope, you will handle the case with care and justice.

              Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
              I activated 3 g service in my mobile but I am able to use only GPRS. 3 g network not always available n DAT 2 slow. I went to customer care but they didn't paid any attention. I called customer care BT they said that my handset is not 3 g compatible. What a joke !!! I am using reliance 3g n DAT is working in my mobile - micromax canvas a1 (android one )

                    Myself sonu kumar, mobile no[protected], had recharched std pack of 33 on 5 th august and got message on 10th about it is going to expired on next day and on 12 th one or two calls deducted for 1.5 p per minute, when i want to interact with customer care regarding this then they had disconnected 4-5 times during call then i made a recharge of 67 for two months in this way i have lost my 20 valuable days and mental harassment . Again i had got message on 31 st that your std pack is going to expired on 1 st September in this way i got mental harassment and will lodge complain in consumer forum for compensation.

                      This is to inform you
                      that above name person visited our office situated at S K Patil Mun. Gen.
                      Hospital Daftary Road Malad East on 21/10/2014 who came with bunch of sim
                      cards calling himself as a representative of Airtel mobile company and showed
                      different schemes for government employees one of it was Rs 199/ month (EBU -
                      199)in which unlimited calling to all mobile, landline, std calls and even
                      local and std sms were also free for one month for prepaid airtel mobile. Since
                      I am a prepaid customer of airtel (mobile no.[protected]) I
                      took that scheme and paid Rs.200/- toward recharge..


                      He filled form no. MHB
                      5537278 and gave me the same no receipt .Now he is not responding to my call.

                      I called customer care .
                      representative replied that no such schemes are available in the company and
                      report this matter to higher authority, hence this complaint.


                      There is no value to Rs.
                      200 in the market but customer is losing trust on company and that makes the
                      difference.

                      Hence company should not
                      appoint such people who can do fraud in the society on the name of company.

                      But after a talk I received two full

                      If you cannot provide me the scheme
                      promised by your representative there is no other option of refund of same
                      amount.

                      I received SMS today at 5.07pm
                      stating that you have activated for full talk time offer for this month and
                      deducted Rs 25 from by balance. But this is to inform you that I was sleeping
                      between 3.00 pm to 6.30 pm today

                      When I was sleeping how can I call
                      customer care and activate for full talk time. If you see my previous recharge
                      details you will find that I have recharged rarely. If I am recharging rarely
                      how can I activate for full talk time for this month. This means that it is
                      cheating from your side. I called customer care at 6.30 pm for the reason, but
                      he could not answer my question and also he was unable to answer the two top up
                      of Rs. 100/- each which you have done purposefully to protect your
                      representative who has cheated me for Rs 200/- by showing fake scheme

                      I hereby request you to deposit
                      Rs 25/- plus calling charges to customer care as it is mistake from your side
                      and deduct Rs 200/ from balance and tell your representative pay me back
                      cash of Rs.200/- which he has collected from me by showing fake scheme.

                      me offer for which you have collected money then you have no right to do top up
                      of same amount without my consent.

                      Inspite of giving all the documents, there is poor response from your sub
                      ordinate to handle the complaint. Infact it is observed that they are trying to
                      protect that culprit.

                      Nobody can carry bunch of Airtel sim cards packets without
                      company's authority.

                      Company must be having record of Name of person whom they have
                      given that series of card.

                      But company is not taking any efforts to find out that
                      person whom they have given bunch of Sim cards .

                      If company is not having record of it then company is responsible
                      for all fraud . Infact I will say that Company is giving support to people
                      who are involved in such crime.
                      & If it is so then mattrer has to be informed to central ministry, Please
                      note

                          I ve called Airtel customer service by dialing 198 at 01:23 Hrs on 31/08/14. Spoke to Virendra who picked up my call. Who was very very rude and do not know how to speak. i called up for some info regarding data and balance deduction. This guy was raised his voice and was shouting on me. He does not know how to speak to a customer. When i asked him to transfer the call to his senior then he put my call on hold for 12 mins. I dont know whether he wanted me to disconnect the call or not. but i was very much rigid and i spoke to Abhisekh senior executive. but really dont understand how airtel can keep such uneducated and unprofessional employee. I want an action. Can somebody help?

                            My postpaid number is [protected]. My outgoing and incoming is not working since morning. Called customer care but they keep talking about services I'm not interested in. Can't get through a person whom I can tell my problems. It just gets transferred from one service to another. Waited 15 minutes for customer care person to pick up but only kept getting automated 'Please hold' messages. Trying since morning and not a single person has addressed my issue. Otherwise they keep calling all day and disturb with their irrelevant services. But when you need them they are nowhere around. I had a lot of work over the phone today and had to borrow others phone to get it done. They just stopped the service randomly although all bills have been paid. I would advice all of you not to buy Airtel postpaid. It's the worst service you'll get. Also they make a lot of mistakes in their bill. I'm going tomorrow to port my number to Vodafone or Idea. I've had enough of this from Airtel. They have taken their customers for granted. Anyway I don't think it will matter to them if they lose a customer. But I've lost faith. My Internet connection is also Airtel and I will be deactivating that as well. Urge you guys to think before you take up any Airtel service. They will frustrate the hell out of you.

                                  We have being complaining for the past 8 months and we issued a formal complaint at the airtel office near bakery junction at trivandrum. There has been unsatisfactory response from your team and no effort to follow up and close the outstanding actions. This is a real disappointment from airtel team. My parents are not able to send or receive any sms to Australia I expect this issue to be closed in next 48 hours . This issue is for 2 mobile numbers [protected] and [protected]. Please provide feedback as soon as possible to [protected]@gmail.com We have gone through many trials and test messages and have been unsuccessful.

                                    hello sir, plz solve my problem I am not satisfied with airtel service, I am using prepaid no. last 2 year my call rate onle 40 paise/minute. one day call me airtel care reference of postpaid go on postpaid your all call 30/min.i will go on nd next day call me airtel confirm my prepaid to postpaid no. nd also clear the plans 30paise/min. local & std .I have compline customer care but he told me only two option you can choice 1st is closed your No., 2nd one is you satisfies with this problem .My mobile no. is [protected], what I will do it.i am old customer of airtel. complain no. 57763608 Thanks& Regards Vipin Kumar Engineer Systemair India Pvt.                                       To The Service provider, I have been called by one of your channel partner of name Viyania Business Solutions Pvt Ltd whose address details etc I will attach in form of the cash memo which they have provided me while taking money amount of Rs.300 for selling a post paid connection to convert my prepaid to post paid, ([protected]). They told me this Rs. 300 will be refunded to be as it gets deducted from the billing amount for the 1st 3 months, today i received my first month bill in which i am finding security deposit is 0.00 an there is no any adjustment in bill from my deposited 300.00. one more interesting things happened, at the time process they told me you will find one new prepaid 3g sim free of cost with a balance of 50.00rs & 500MB Internet pack & they handed over me one new sim card. Said it will be activated when your post paid connection will get active. After one week my post paid started but this new sim couldn't. i called that guy of service provider. He simply surrendered . Told me sir i have submitted all your documents in air tel office you just check from there. i called to customer care, then they started their unfinished process, from this representative to this, after half an hrs talk one smart guy gave their unbearable suggestion 'sir you need to check from you local retailer who gave you this connection, you'll get your detail from there i cannot do anything from you' what is this? Local retailer speaking to go customer care & customer care speaking to go local retailer. i never called you to provide me such scheme. you called me, you told me all that services & then you start to give pain with all these. Which type of service you wanna provide air tel & which type of fake representative you have. Today i called this service provider "Viyania Business Solutions"got one number from their cash memo. Mr. Paritosh saha received my call. i told him all my problems. he simply denied, said your security deposit is showing here in my system. how smart people you have?, give customer account details without given any identity by customers & i was calling from my basic phone. i asked for senior person of his office to resolve my issues, he rudely replied no, i don't know about their name & contact number. i had to cut my phone with words thank you. the person who came on me to sell all these not taking my calls to resolve the problem today. So as a harassed customer should I conclude this as Air tel is also a crime and fraud partner along with this channel partner of yours? I guess both are equally responsible and action should be taken against both unless my problem is addressed and resolved.I am attaching the cash memo provided by them. the money is not the main problem .. problem is, you people cheat openly. how could i believe you in future. you & your representative always disturb some portion of my life, which is unbearable. kindly look into the matter & try to resolve it. if you are not able to resolve it then please return back my scheme to prepaid. i will close it forever don't give me chance to leave your service. thank you

                                        I have given complaint yesterday that my full balance is suddenly debited Compliant number is ( PR[protected]
                                        then I got an SMS that my issue is resolved Ref no (CBDMO [protected]) . But issue is not sorted out.

                                        the other problem is yesterday evening I have lost my Internet package balance also apxtly 1020 MB's.

                                        I am unable to call your customer care number also you people are charging for that.

                                        If you don't sort this issue 2ith in 3 hrs. I am launching a compliant in Consumer court and I will portable my number too.
