I was using airtel 3g data card for more than a year. I raised a request for disconnection on April-20. The customer care executive said that it will take 1 week to confirm the cancellation and I should pay for that 1 week as well. I agreed and paid the full amount including that week and confirmed with customer care that there is no pending due and the cancellation should be done without any issues. But at the end of that month they sent me a monthly bill. I called customer care and explained them that it was already disconnected and I cannot be responsible for any mistakes on their end. Every week they called me and I have to tell the same story to each one of them. Finally they transferred the call to some senior executive and he accepted to cancel the bill. But again I started receiving payment due emails. This time I followed up on emails. I escalated it to nodal officers but they are again starting it from the begining saying the disconnection was not proper and I have to pay for next month as well. I have my monthly bill that clearly shows that I haven't used my data card for the past 2 months and still they are expecting me to pay. I don't want to pay any additional amount and I am frustrated talking to them as I have spent almost 100 rupees in just speaking to their customer service executives. Hence raising a complaint in this forum. Any help is appreciated.

    Hereby insertion a plea to revolutionize back my no:[protected] to prepaid itself. On 10th of June I called a customer support executive (preethi her no is [protected]) and asked her whether possible to change my prepaid sim to post paid sim in the same no. She said can change and asked the niceties and on 12th June she sent a boy to collect the same from my home Rs 300 as advance deposit .Then again I called the same customer support executive preethi (care agent) through the person who came for collecting the documents and cash INR 300 and informed strictly her only after my confirmation to you, you can activate to postpaid, until then you can keep aside and also i said will call you 1st week of July .So the customer care agent gave her no to contact -[protected]. On 27th of JUNE Early morning 00:25 received 2 SMS that Address verification for prepaid to post paid conversion of your airtel mobile has been completed, the conversion will start immediately. and continuing another sms received services on your airtel mobile is being changed from prepaid to post paid .This will be completed in 2 hours Use new sim to start the services. As i was in deep sleep i am not able to found the arrived SMS in my phone, only at the time of 10 Am and immediately I called preethi from my mobile, when called preethi in my phone, I was shocked to receive the welcome call for verification and Confirmation said pls deactivate i did not gave any confirmation till this time no person came to my home for the address confirmation. They said nothing cannot be done from our side pls call the customer care /Support. Then i called immediately Preethi -customer care support unit, which i already had, called no of times, but no responses. Then immediately i rushed to the airtel shop which is in the arcot road next by Tyre shop and Chandara Bhavan Hotel. Unfortunately it was under renovation and they guided me go directly to either T.nagar Office or NungamBakkam office. again rushed to the nearer office which is in T nagar, had a response with the office Manager Babu or balu, he said will give complaint to Santhome office and given in front of me to his superiors and also he said they will call you, you can talk to them directly, from this office we cannot do anything .But they gave me the person Id And the channel No . thanks for that . I was waiting until evening there is no single call from santhome office, when called unable to reach the customer care support unit directly. Depressed much. Totally one day shattered including my salary, my time and restless nomadic in my vehicle. And the most important is incoming calls to my mobile (Totally Cut). It is absurd, No one can call me and also I cannot call any one from my mobile. And today completely jumble with the customer care unit, the details which i got from the Tnagar office, and i recollected the collection boy mobile no and the unit office no, but when called all these nos no response till noon, made continuously eventually the same customer care executive preethi spoke to me that i have kept aside but i dont know how it was happed, and again someone called and forced me to activate the post paid. . Now I dont know where i am standing ..., my wish is, i need my no as prepaid with the same old no [protected], and credit my cash either to my land line account or to my airtel money account. If this is not cleared i thought of going to consumer court . Details as follows. preethi- office no -[protected] Preethi- Customer care unit- her No is [protected], CHN-592, ID No is 26863. preethi collogue no is [protected] don’t know the name, being a girl talked very rudely, and two more associate also talked with me in dim-witted manner . Already i am Airtel customer for the foll nos[protected], [protected], and my land line no along with 9Gb unlimited internet usage. You can contact me in my alternate no where my better hal[censored]sing -[protected] or with my land line no[protected]. Pls help me in this regard, absolutely i was messed up, by this pressure is raising, even not able to act normally in my house .

      Hi, I have 2 complaints regarding my IPTV connection. First : When I close my IPTV connection my set-top box along with remote was taken back and I was told that refund will be made soon but no refund is made yet. I want to know why the box was taken? Second : Now I want IPTV connection again on my existing broadband connection but I am told by airtel executive that I have disconnect my existing broadband connection and have to apply for new connection amount 3500/- rupees, I want to know why I cant get it on my existing broadband connection?

        Hi, This is with reference to Airtel 4G LTE no [protected].I got this number from sales outlet at one of my office location in Dec-13. When i took this number i was told that this number would be immediately activated. But making umpteen number of calls to customer care/ service center the number never got activated. and meanwhile the bills got generated. I continued to take this up with the customer care that i was not able to use any single KB of data and still the bills are generated. I started getting threatening calls that you would taken to court and asked me to settle the bills for which i have not used any single KB as the number was never activated. in April i paid around 2600/ and asked them to cancel the number which they told that this is done and we will also process the refund amount of 2600/ by some one Mr Azmat. But now i again start getting bills .Please note that this caused me enough harassment and mental agony to me . why should i pay for the services which wa never activated and i am not able to use any single KB I want the number to be immediately canceled and demand a refund of 2600/ Thanks Niraj

          Hi Team / All, This is in regards to the connection dial up issue that I am facing in airtel 3G Data card from 6th of June'14.The issue is that whenever I connect the dongle to my system and try to make connection, it shows various error e.g, error 628, error 700 etc. I have been calling airtel customer care for almost a month now and the cows sitting on the other side only knew how to moo the issue away to glory !! .I spoke to several executives in airtel to get this problem rectified but nothing has worked.Each time I call and ask for the next level of escalation, I don’t get a proper response, either my call is disconnected or thrown back to the hopeless IVR. Moreover, the other side of the coin(airtel outlet and service center) is even worse. They(airtel outlet and service center) have replaced both the SIM and the Huawei dongle thrice(3 times) and yet it is not working on my system., hell not even working on their( airtel service center) own systems. Also, they have charged me to replace the device and the SIM( I need my money back). And now even after replacing the Huawei airtel dongle and SIM for the third time it is not working and the people over there don't know what to do next( they are even ready to replace it fourth time).After wasting a total of almost a month, spending all my time and money in calling and visiting the airtel offices, I am still empty handed without any solution.I haven't used the postpaid connection for even a single time this month, yet I will get my bill on time from airtel, for which I am not gonna pay even a single penny.At last, I just want you to improve your services and kindly look to pay me back my amount. Airtel will loose there Goodwill and has lost another customer with this lame attitude and services.           Agree with the rude behaviour of airtel gallery officials and the people on the phone are the dumbest creature on the earth...faced somewhat similar problem too with airtel dongle services

            Sir / Madam, Iam a Airtel prepaid customer, i tried calling Airtel customer care and 198 complaint cell to know about the details on international roaming, but the representative not able to give clear explanation on the international roaming, even i visited the Airtel showroom also but again queries not resolved. I required below mentioned clarification. Whether international roaming facility is available on airtel prepaid (Chennai circle). Incoming and outgoing call rates ? Incoming and outgoing sms rates ? Airtel account number : [protected] Broadband Number :[protected] On 25thApril or 26th April I visited airtel office to put my airtel number on standby for 2 months because I am goin out of station. Even I have done extra payment of standby for coming 2 months. Today I received a bill of june month and then I visited again airtel office sector 25 noida.They told me that, I had a conversation with customer care to activate my connection, but reality is Last month on 29 may 2014, I received a call on my alternate number for activation from customer care but we refused for activation.They activate my airtel connection.Today I received a bill of june month. These are the things I want you to notice: 1.How can they activate my airtel connection without my permission. 2.Airtel connection were on 2month standby 3.Today on 28 june I received a bill of rs.1340 4. I have not made any call on customer care regarding activation. Check the call recordings of 29th may 2014 on this account number.i need proof, on what basis they can activate, I have a knowledge about regarding, if someone refused for activation, customer care executive can not activate my number, if someone do this, this is against complinece.                 This is raju and my mobile number is [protected].airtel they itself activated a service called IPlayer for the charge of rs5 per day. I didn't raise any request for it then why. if they running out of money they could simply request for it but please not in this way.it should not happen to anyone again.

                  Hello, I am now in US on a work related visit and will be travelling back only in August. I had sent a email request on 17/04/2014 03:33:15 PM to Airtel service on [protected]@in.airtel.com for closing my Airtel Post paid mobile connection (+91-[protected]). They responded back saying the same has been forwarded to the concerned department. I was waiting for the reply but what i received was a new Bills on 29th April/May/June to pay monthly rental. I had cleared all my balance on 27/4/2014. I requested for an update on Apr 27 and May 30 and got this tracking number PO[protected]. It has been more than 2 months and all i get is a new bill every month.

                  I am facing the same problem. I have requested for 3g data card ([protected]) disconnection on April 20th and paid all the dues in next 3 days. But till now I am getting monthly bills. In the past 2 months, I have spoken to customer care people for more than 15 times.

                    Hello Airtel, Don't brag that you reach 94 cities in Bangalore when you CANNOT reach known prime locations within Bangalore.I see Airtel has provided fixed line BB connections to Nagendra Block, Bangalore-560050 and Girinagar, Bangalore-560085 but not to Muneshwara Block, Bangalore-560026 WHICH IS RIGHT IN BETWEEN ABOVE MENTIONED PLACES.I've been asking to provide connection for last 3 years.. Still no use.What is this? You have feasibility problems in is it?? Now I doubt your capabilities.

                      I have a mobile for 5 years in India and was paying my mobile bills from last 5 Years without fail. This so called Airtel have a good name, but it doesn't deserve the credibility for being such good company. I move to US few Months back and couldn't pay my bill for last 2 months due to some unavoidable situation. This company was happily adding the minimum payment and didn't realise to send a communication that any communication about the bill. If someone called on the mobile number to intimate the same, it will definitely be switched off as out of country. Now this company instead of sending a mail to me, they started calling people whom I called from my mobile, which can be my friends, relatives etc. Without my permission Airtel dont have the right to contact anyone whom I know and tell about airtel bill. Thats fine, some how this company got my number and called on my US number, now I have given them my cousin's India number so that they can contact his and get the bill paid. Again this company people called him, and the numbers he is talking also. IS AIRTEL HAVING ANY RIGHT TO CALL ANYONE IN THE WORLD AND TELL ABOUT MY PHONE BILL. WHEN I HAVE GIVEN A CONTACT TO CONNECTED THIS COMPANY CHEATED ME BY NOT FOLLOWING MY WORDS. All my family members using Airtel for last 10 years (atleast 10-15 numbers), Now I will make sure all of my family member numbers be cancelled as soon as possible. And when I comeback to India I will not use Airtel. Thanks Airtel for behaving in such a manner that my reputation is tarnished across my friends and relatives, I lost Credibility in your products and will never ever use your products. AIRTEL IS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THERE IS NO RESPONSE ON THIS FROM AIRTEL, WILL GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL

                        i'm using airtel broadband and airtel increased there price from 10% to 15% in the monthly rental, This is not fair to the customers who are using airtel from a long time If the prices are increasing they should increase the price for the new users please look into this matter i was using 1299 per month and it increased to 1449.. Rs 150 change and this is alot

                          I have a Rs 175 corporate Postpaid monthly plan ([protected]). Under this plan, I am given free 100 local/national SMSs and 750 MB of 2G data. I got the plan around five months ago. My last four bill details are:- 1. Bill period: 05-Feb-2014 to 04-Mar-2014 --> Rs 446.22 2. Bill period: 05-Mar-2014 to 04-Apr-2014 --> Rs 529.77 3. Bill period: 05-Apr-2014 to 04-May-2014 --> Rs 3325.00 4. Bill period: 05-May-2014 to 04-Jun-2014 --> Rs 3177.34 Please pay attention to the last two bills. The bill shot from hundreds to thousands from March to April. When I enquired regarding my Apr-May bill by repeatedly calling 121, I was told that i had exceeded my data usage and this is the reason I got the bill of Rs3325.I was a little surprised that using 2G connection how can my data usage increase the limit.But still, I fully obliged and pay the bill. This month again I received a bill amount of 3177 Rs even though I was careful about not increasing my data limit. Upon calling 121, I was told a different story.I was told that 3G connection was activated on my mobile and I was charged 3G data usage the whole time. I had bought a mobile from snapdeal with which I got 1GB free G connection coupon.I had submitted a request to use that coupon in the month of march but Airtel has never stopped the service and never communicated about the start and stop of the 3G service.I am continuously being charged with the 3G data usage. If I have a 1gb 3G data coupon, shouldn't Airtel stop the service once the coupon is finished? Why I was not told about the 3G service activated on my mobile during the month of Apr-May.I could have stopped the service there and then? I repeatedly get the message that my account limit has been increased. Why I am not asked before increasing the limit of my bill? I am getting horrible service at 121 where each time It takes half an hour for the executive to understand my situation and then I get transferred to a senior executive. Then, I have to explain my situation all over again or in many cases the senior executive doesn't even pick up. This has happened to me at least 5-6 times in the last few days. Airtel has now blocked my outgoings and my mobile is practically useless. Could you Please waive off the data usage amount being charged on my mobile as obviously this is a mistake at Airtel side. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

                            Hi, I have requested a migration from prepaid to post paid connection for [protected] on 25th June 2014. The SLA which they told me was 3 days. On 26th June 2014, my prepaid connection balance was debited to 0 and I couldn't make any outgoing calls. On 27th June 2014, I had to call airtel customer care and they have send a representative for address verification (after I called them) for follow up. I again called them in the evening where I couldn't get an update from the customer care. On 27th June 2014 at 10:30 PM IST or so, I got a message from airtel that the services will be activated within 2 hours. On 28th June, when I tried to make a outgoing call, it transferred to verification call where the person after verifying all my details informed me that it will activated in 15 minutes. I called up airtel customer care after 4 hours and the representatives transferred me to escalation department where the escalation manager said he is not responsible for this and he is not bothered at all. The escalation manager informed that me that they don't know when the service will activated(?????) I would like to know who is responsible if an airtel escalation manager is not? Pathetic services for a customer who used prepaid service for 11 years and irresponsible customer care agents Interestingly, the person who informed me of the corporate policy is not answering the calls at all.

                              Hi, On 17th June, 2014 I spoke with a sales rep for a new connection. He checked on feasibility and confirmed that the installation can be done within 2 days. On 19th June, another person (Mob - [protected]) confirmed the same and collected the application (No. TBLR 6834261) and a cheque worth Rs 500. He books this deal the same day. Later on the same day, he informs me that it will take a week and asked me to contact Prashant, his area manager (Mob - [protected]). Prashant committed that the installation will be completed by 24th June. This did not happen and he did not take my calls thereafter. On 25th, I managed to find your customer service number and registered a complaint (No.[protected]. About 2 hours later, I get a call back where your customer service rep informs me that "as per records the installation has been completed". When I clearly told him that no one has even contacted me for the installation, he changed the status and committed to have this "installed within 24 hours". On 26th, I did not hear from anyone. On 27th, I called again, and although at first was given some excuse, later the customer care rep told me that I will NOT get connection. When I asked why I was lied to till now and why so far no one has contacted me on this, he apologized and told me that his manager will call back the same day. I never got any call ! On 29th, when I called to follow up, a rep told me that Airtel will not communicate that installation cannot be done until after feasibility is confirmed. What?? In the end, their sales rep gets a deal booked, Airtel gets a cheque and I have zero communication from Airtel about my money or absence of connection.

                                  This is to inform you that I, Santu Mukherjee, have purchased an Airtel 4G LTE connection 3-4 months ago. At the time of selling the representative of the said company ensured me that I will receive strong signal everywhere in my house but till date I could not use the 4G modem properly due to network being not reachable.I have already lodged 3-4 complaints but haven't received any response except network survey from Airtel.
