This is regarding my application for network portability from tata docomo to airtel for which i had submitted the application with this dealer near selaiyur, tambaram, chennai. The contact number of this dealer is ([protected], +[protected]. This dealer claims for submission of my application which i submitted it on 03-MAR-2014, but on contacting the airtel head office it was found that the application has not yet been received. on further conversation with the executive of airtel showroom, i was suggested to submit fresh application and request. This dealer after charging me 50INR for portability service, is not divulging the details of the agencies through whom he is sending the applications to head office. He already has harassed me for issuing the duplicate SIM card. I kindly request you to take severe action against such dealer for cheating me of my money, the time which i wasted on and also for causing mental agony all these days.

    My id no.- [protected](Devendra singh) . Is subscribed for one year installation date is 22/06/2013. But it is shut down on 13/03/2014 . I have met dealer/distributer (T.V. Centre khalilabad, sant kabir nagar, up(East))and said my problem.They said that the yare not responsible for that.While i have paid rs. 3800 for one year subscription.At that time dealer said that your t.V. Would run for one year .
    Kindly note my complaint and fulfill this .

        We have 3 fixed line numbers from Airtel which has been working well. But recently I decided to buy a 3 G data card which was working fine for couple of months. Suddenly the Wi fi signals started interfering between fixed line and the 3 G data card and the 3 G datacard has gone dead. I have been trying to speak to their customer care who promise a technician will come to solve the issue each time but nobody turns up even after repeated reminders. They even claim the ref number[protected] given by them does not exist. Pursuing this matter I have come to see the real colors of this Co whom I had thought was a reliable provider. This is a warning to all concerned that as long as there is no problem Airtel is Great but the moment their products fail there is absolutely no response from any of them. The moment you mention a problem they start putting your calls on hold for endless minutes. sometimes as long as 45 minutes and then call goes dead. After all my patient efforts I am forced to compliant as they have now come up with a new way of putting off handling client problems. They say they will only handle complaints for 4 G data card users and 3 G clients should call 1800... Everyone knows that this toll free number can be reached from MTNL/BSNL numbers. I would like to ask them how does one go searching for BSNL phone booth? Having visited their local customer care centres and failing to get proper response I tried talking on phone. The local customer care centres just say go to "Huawei" - the manufacturer. Thats all they have time for. I can only hope future clients will be aware of this dubious nature of Airtel staff.         Dear Mr Saurav Ahlawat,

        It is a blatant lie to say you have tried to reach me several times.
        I have clearly mentioned my landline NUMBERS.

        No one has called any of those numbers while my data card number is STILL not working. THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THIS COMPLAINT in the first place.

        This only goes to prove the point I am trying to make. Concerned Airtel staff DO NOT want to take any responsibility to address the complaint itself.

        Infact we have made 3 more attempts last week after my complaint was posted on this forum, to get the Wifi connectvity issue (reference number - 443686) corrected. Each time they only say someone will be sent today. That TODAY has still not come and we are throughly fed up with this utter disregard shown by Airtel staff.

        Please PLEASE PLEASE get your customer service to be responsible and result oriented.

I submitted new ID proof and application again last week. I don't know what is going on.               I am having a broad band connection of airtel my account no is [protected] and i have taken this plan for 6 months and paid all the due amount in advance. My broadband services were disconncted for more than 15 days. and now when i am asking to adjust those days in my bill airtel customers are not doing that and i further would like to complaint against Mr. Neeraj Sharma (Senior Supervisor) who refused that my connection was disconnected for 15 days. I am so much surprised that how he can lie. I want that some strict action should be taken on such kind of employees dealing with customers. This is so vague statement as i have launched so many complaints against airtel at that time also. Kindly resolve my problem as i am suffering and customer care executives are mishandling this.

                I have recharged on my no. [protected] with Rs. 655 for 3G (3GB Data) on 11-March-2014 and i got the Message of activation but after activating the services I was unable to use it due to Network problem with 3G network and same things I have informed to many Customer Care as well as Appellate Authority and Nodal officers for the same problem but haven’t got any solution. After that I got a called from Nodal Officer and She told to me that to wait for four more days to solve the issue but I have requested her to refund my amount but she replied that she’s unable to refund the amount.                   I wanted to change my post-paid connection into a pre-paid one.. I went to the airtel store at Orion Mall, Bangalore on 11th March and completed all the necessary paper work and I was told it shall be done in 2-3 business days. On 12th March I got a call from the store informing me that the server is down so my papers have not been processed. I called them on 13th March to find out the status and I was told that the paper has been processed from their end on 13th itself. I waited for 24 hours after talking to them and still no change. So I went to the store on 14th. Again after making me sit there for 10 minutes I was informed that they have done it from their end and it is now out of their hand and it will take 2-3 business days from 14th. This is really annoying and frustrating considering the fact that I can only use my phone for any outgoing calls and texts until I touch a cap of Rs. 50 during this transition period. Deeply disappointed with the service in general. On 15th March I posted this experience of mine on the airtel facebook page- within minutes I was offered a verbal apology and requested that I provide my email number by facebook message which I did. After which I was assured that someone would get in touch with me. I waited for almost 24 hours but no one offered any kind of assistance. I again messaged on the airtel page and then got a call from some one from the Delhi airtel circle who said all he could do was apologize - since my number is from the Karnataka circle and he cant work on it. He assured me he would try to contact the staff at the Orion mall store but I have not heard from him since Today is the 7th day since I started the transition process and nothing has gone beyond the "paper work". Also every time I spoke to the airtel representative the only thing he tells me is that it has been processed from their end. Is that the kind of customer service you provide...are you only concerned with getting the paper out from "your end" as you call it. A customer repeatedly calling/visiting the store on a daily basis requesting you to make the transition happen asap clearly means they need the transition to happen and be over at the earliest so that they can use their phone as they desire and being restricted to a cap of Rs. 50 for more than 3 days is making things very inconvenient and difficult. Even after expressing this urgency of mine the people working at the store did not make any kind of extra effort to find out the status at the "back end" as he called it. Having to deal with this kind of service is very frustrating.

                  I too am facing the same problem. First I visited Mathikere, Bangalore airtel office to convert postpaid to prepaid of my airtel hotspot no. They told server is down and without checking, they told me that it is 100% impossible to convert hotspot no. Then I called customer care and gave request for disconnection. Then customer care told it is possible. Again i went to Mathikere branch. This time they told it is possible but they don't have SIM Card. I need to go to Nandidurga office. Accordingly I went to Nandi Durga, Bangalore airtel center. There they told they don't have SIM card and it will come after 3days and gave me a no. to call. I called after 3days, nobody picked for 5times. Then to my luck, somebody picked up. I asked why they don't pick up the call, they told they are busy and pick up only when free. I asked about SIM card. They told they don't have and don't know when it will come. After 10days, I am still following up. Nobody is picking up the call and I have to pay for the postpaid rental.

                    I have a Delhi number and on weekends I visit my home town in Western UP. Since last week I used to recharge my number with 5 rs. for getting the free incoming calls for a day while in roaming. I received a message from Airtel saying that "Rs. 21=Free incoming roaming UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand aur West Bengal mein + sabhi outgoing calls 1.5 p/sec mein airtel recharge par. Pack validity : 30 days." On above message I recharged my number with 21 on 15 Mar 14 to get free incoming during roaming. I had earlier on 27 Feb 14 recharged my fone with Rs. 43 to get all local calls at 0.40 Rs per minute. When I came back on 17 March 2014 to Delhi, found that all the local calls in Delhi were being charged at 1..5 P/sec instead of 40 ps/min. I called customer complaint of Airtel but no satisfactory response from their side. I want replies to the following questions from Airtel: 1. Your message did not specify that the call rate of 1.5p/sec will be applicable only while roaming or everywhere. As per the context and the text of message it appears that the rate will be applicable only in roaming and otherwise normal rates will apply. THERE IS CLEAR AMBIGUITY IN THE PROMOTIONAL TEXT TO MISGUIDE THE CUSTOMER. 2. Your customer care representative told that when I recharged with 21, it invalidated the earlier tariff of 43. I want to ask you whenever I recharged with Rs. 5, It never invalidated the tariff of 43 (cheap local calls). The Service Provider is MISGUIDING CUSTOMER WITH AMBIGUITY IN PROMOTIONAL TEXTS AND FURTHER THEY HAVE DIFFERENT POLICIES FOR DIFFERENT RECHARGE AMOUNTS TO FOOL THE CUSTOMER. Whenever I recharged with Rs. 5 (daily free Incoming while roaming), It never invalidated the tariff of 43(cheap local calls) then why did the tariff of 21 (monthly free incoming while roaming) invalidated the earlier tariff of 43. 3. Customer care representative spoke very rough. They instead of solving the problem and register a complaint told me that It was all my fault.                       HI, I have applied for airtel postpaid sim card on 4th march 2014 at my office TEG business solutions Pvt. Ltd., devaabisanhalli, bangalore to Mr. Dharmendra (airtel representative) with the deposit of Rs 400/- I got a verification call from Mr. Jayaraj on 11th march 2014 and my company HR got on 10th march 2014. I have talked to Mr. Dharmendra about the issue, he was unable to provide the answer, he gave me contact no Ms. Sanchita who handles the activation of sim card from Airtel; She's not picking my call. This has forced to write down a complaint & i don't know where is my deposit. Please resolve this issue immediately.

                            Mr.Gopi (Custormer service officer) has promised to revise the amount and sending the closing letter to my home. But nothing has been done till now. I am getting calls from airtel customer care, they tourchering me and giving mental stress for payment, for the not working 3g dongle why should i have to pay ?
                            .Why these people not understanding customer complaints and giving me a proper responses.I am not getting any proper updates and feedback from any customer care executives. I need a proper person to help me out of this and to be solved asap. Or else i will take this to leagle action.

                              We are connected with Airtel Digital TV ( Customer Id: [protected]) from past 4-5 years. But have never seen such a degrade of services that we have faced in the last year. Set top box, depending on its mood, starts on its own giving an error and asking to re-insert the top up card. A complaint was lodged with Ref No. 36303190 on 25th Feb, 2014. We were given the contact number of the assigned service engineer named Anil (contact no--[protected]) by some lady from service center ( contact-- [protected]). Engineer confirmed on call that he will be coming in 20 min but for the whole day, he was just be-fooling us, giving his location details and telling that he will be available in the next 20 minutes and till EOD, no-one showed up. Everybody has got his work to do. My father took an off for the day and the time was all waste. Is this called the commitment from company? After 2 days, same guy called up at 16:37 on 27th Feb, 2014 saying he will be coming by evening. My father was out of town. Nobody was home. So he told the same. And today we got a call from your customer care and we were told that the assigned engineer has reported the complaint as ---" subscriber not willing to get resolution for the complaint". on 2nd march, again we were given a reference no. 36387989 detailed as WRONG RESOLUTION and same thing was conveyed by the care executive that engineer will be available by evening and we didn't even get a call. On 13th march we called up the technician( Anil ) again and he assured that he will come next day. So on 14th march, the very busy guy arrived at last. But with a surprise that we will have to pay a 400/- Rs. for changing the STB as the warranty period, that was 6th march, 2014, has crossed. I called up the customer care same moment and the executive lady on phone also confirmed on phone that complaint filed in-warranty will be entertained as free. He even misbehaved her on the phone saying -- "BAKWAS MAT KAR. TU MERI BAAT SUN". She escalated this issue to someone at higher position who called us back from No. [protected] He talked to the technician and the rude guy also confirmed him over phone that he will replace it without charging the fee. After hanging up the phone, his voice changed. He said i am replacing the STB but you need to call up the customer care number again and they will give you an SR number( the third time) and then it will be activated by main office. Don't know what is this main office? and what do they work. After this ruthless guy's departure, I have called up on customer care number 4-5 times, someone keeps on hold for 10-15 minutes and phone hangs up itself, someone says she is giving an SR number through SMS but nothing comes up. Some one launches a Complaint and says Engineer will come next day. But he came today it self and said he can not activate it. We are really dissatisfied and disappointed with the service either you call it from service center end or the technician or company itself. Please help.

                                Poor Customer service, they don't even have their customer service no on contact us page, we need to use justdial for that. When I called, the executive cut the call after putting me on hold for long time. When you click on View bill in the bill, it takes you to a logout page where you can't login ... the list goes on and on, seriously did not expect that from airtel.

                                  billing cycle of my postpaid no was the 27th of the month. I made the
                                  payment of the last bill received by me before shifting the services to
                                  Vodafone on the 3rd of jan 2014 due to poor network in my area in
                                  kandivali (w). The bill for the period frm 27th dec to 2nd ofJan has not
                                  been received by me till date ( earlier I used to get all my ebills ).
                                  Now airtel is asking me to pay rs. 536/- for the billing period of 28 th
                                  dec to 27 jan... I have already paid my bill to Vodafone fr period
                                  starting from Jan 3rd... How can i make payment to two operators for
                                  the same period ?... Again why does airtel not send me a bill... I
                                  have tried calling airtel many times, but there is nobody to resolve
                                  the matter.

                                    Dear Sir, I had made payment for Rs.655 for my Airtel datacard [protected] on18th June 2013 through their website www.airtel.com online . However, my internet was not recharged and the amount was deducted from my bank account. I made continuous complaints to their customer care/grievances division for 6-7 months. Every time they asked me to provide the copy of my bank statement from which the amount was deducted . I shared my confidential bank statement with them around 8-10 times . Later there was no response from their side. Now, finally they are giving this lame excuse that they cannot find the transaction. So, they are closing this complaint. I am surprised by the attitude and the response of the entire team of such a reputed company in dealing with their customers. I have been following up on this issue for the last 6-7 months and the company has been just giving me never ending excuses with no proper customer care/response adding to my grievances. I dont think there is no other proof required other than the bank statement proof which clearly states that amount was paid to Airtel for Rs.655 on 18th June 2013 and later there is no automatic refund from their side due to the recharge transaction which was unsuccessful. I am looking forward for resolution to get my money refunded. Thanks, Tina [protected]

                                      I reside in Chennai and my consumer ID is [protected]. My plan is South Mega Plan.I see in the airtel website that certain channels like Romedy Now, & pictures etc have been added for the plan, but I dont get any of these channels. I have raised a complaint with them(Reference no: DT[protected] and also called customer support a number of times regarding this issue. I raised the complaint on Feb 22 and there has been no response till date. Im utterly disappointed with the service and hope someone will look into this. Thanks, Ramkumar VM

                                        The Airtel network is very weak In Plot 150, Sheel Seasons, Matrusri Nagar, Miyapur Hyderabad-500050. The signal is very weak and we do no receive calls.Also calls are dropped continuously . In the house the sound is garbled and you have to run all around to hear clearly. It keeps on searching for Network every couple of minutes and calls get cancelled all the time this has been happening from so long and is getting worse. The signal is very weak in this area. Please rectify this problem immediately or let us know if it is not possible so that we can Change the service provider.Hoping for a quick solution and better network Regards Venkata Rama Raju B.
