shopkeeper told me that sim will activate within 24 hour
i sabmitted my passport copy and voter id copy with my photo
now i am in mp for my shoot work
but sim still not activate
i will be in mp for a month
pls activate my number soon
please help me

I have taken a Airtel corporate Postpaid Plan on 11th August. But till now my SIM card has not been activated as they told me in 72 Hrs it will be activated. I have called that person from whom I have taken this SIM card, but he is not taking my calls also he has given me his manager no. but no one was taking call . What we should do as a customr?/?/

    Dear I had post paid connection no [protected] at pune I have 299 plan in which I got 1200min for calling .some sms and 500mb Data usage And one 199 Internet plan which a have already intimated to airtel executive for closing . after a verbal communication with airtel . they said that they will make it closed and no amount will be charged from me after that also you send me a bill for 199 additionally October & November may be its human error but in December company did the hike and send me bill like 299 rental +199 Internet +150mb charges as 1500 After that many times airtel executive talk with me but not received me corrected amount of bill on my mail Now you suddenly demand me for bill of actual amount without any correction So send me corrected bill so that I can clear your dues

      Hi, I booked for a new digital tv connection by paying online and it has been more than 48 hours that the installation has not been done and neither any engineer has contacted on my registered number. I have called the customer care 10 times till now but still no further process has taken place. Every time I call a new excuse is made. I have even mailed on the customer support id but then also no positive process has taken place. Please see that this issue is taken care at the earliest on high priority.             Respected sir,

            Myself Nirav Oza, I was using [protected] airtel
            postpaid number from last 2 years and I was privileged customer. From
            last 4 months I am passing though some financial problems so that I am
            paying my outstanding amount in installments. But from last few week

            I am getting calls from one collection agency and They are using very
            abusing language with me and my family members and they giving threats to them. My wife is in hospital as my daughter is admitted. And one guy
            (Mr.Sharma) told me that ….“TERE KARMO KI SAZA TERI BETI BHUGAT RAHI HAI”,

            I mean he takes it personally and he also told me he come with police officer also.

            I am also escalating this matter to TRAI and Consumer court also.they don't have manners how to talk with privilege customer and how to talk with females.my family members and relatives are getting calls from mentioned number :

            Kindly find the whole meter as below:

            "For the last one week me and my family members receiving calls on from
            various persons claiming themselves to be officials/Channel partners of
            airtel for some outstanding dues on mobile no.[protected] for the last
            three days I am getting threatening calls from telephone number and who
            have been calling me at odd hours, either late at night or at wee hours
            of morning. I informed the caller that I will deposit the amount at the
            airtel outlets, the caller insisted that the amount should be paid
            through the collection agency the caller told me that the company has
            assigned him to collect cash from me personally, and I am bound to pay
            through him only. I have been receiving calls every second minute since
            morning starting from 1020 hrs, since I was busy in meetings, I DID not
            pick up the phone. At 1157 hrs, I received a call the moment I said
            hello, the caller started using abusive language and started threatening
            me saying how dare you DID not pick up the calls. On my insisting
            he disclosed his name as one mr.sharma, officer of airtel calling from
            their office located. When I objected to his abusive and threatening
            language, he further started calling me names and told me that within
            ten minutes he will come with his musclemen to where I am and forcibly
            take money from me. He even warned me to dare complain to police or
            authorities as he is not scared from anyone. He also told me that they
            have number of persons having criminal record, on their rolls and they
            are fully competent to effectively deal with people like me."Airtel staff forgets the fact that their salaries are paid by their customers and they need to respect their customers.Is this the code of conduct for collection that you people have mentioned on your website. Thats
            totally unprofessional on behalf of airtel as the agency is using your
            organization name only. If you will search net then probably will come
            to know what state of complaints come for airtel, which of course you
            will never come to know because good NPS would be projected in front of
            you.I am not going to let this harassment continue and am raising my voice to TRAI, newspapers and TV med I
            can share the mobile no.'s from where me and my relative have received
            the calls. I need solution to this ever increasing menace from Airtel
            even if it requires me to go to any extent.I am requesting you to
            kindly allocate someone from your office to call me and I will explain
            everything. Another major problem in Airtel is that no one raech higher
            authorities in Airtel.ia to let know everyone that so called one of the
            biggest conglomerate runs what kind of business.Kindly find the attachment and refer 5 (b) in Guidelines to Telecom Service Providers regarding collection of dues by outsourced agencies engaged by themb. Expected Conduct from agent of outsourced agency : i.
            Agent of outsourced agency shall conduct himself while undertaking
            collection of the outstanding dues as per the laws of the country and as
            per the Code of Conduct for outsourced agency and agents. ii. Agent
            of outsourced agency shall be polite towards the customer so as to
            avoid allegation of bad behaviour. Security deposited as per agreement/
            contract shall be forfeited by the telecom service provider and
            agreements cancelled for such acts. iii. Agent of outsourced agency shall not threaten the customer by using abusive language or following criminal means. iv.
            Agent of outsourced agency shall call the consumer only from the
            telephone numbers published on the Website of the Service Providers. The
            agent of outsourced agency shall not make calls from any other
            telephone number to consumer. v. Agent of outsourced agency shall
            make calls to the consumer or visit the premises of consumers for
            collection of dues during 8:00AM to 09:00 PM only or the appointed time.
            Sir, i want to pay all my dues and want to continue the services but its not a way to behave.i assure you to clear my due by 15th april 2014.need your help and do some strict action against it

              I Tony Wilson my customer is [protected], I raised a complaint regarding my airtel dth is not activated even after recharging my account. From past one week I'm calling airtel customer care. Airtel Agent is confirming it will be activated within 20mins, 24hrs, but nothing is happening and non of the airtel person is ready to resolve my problem. Only my currency and energy has wasted calling those people. Very bad service they are providing to the customers.

                I Shruti Bajaj lodged a complaint regarding set top box on 24.03.014 the reference number given to me was 3675272 the technician visited and said that there is no problem and charged me 150 for the visit and asked me to call him if the problem comes.Next day morning I called him for the problem that the set top box is not wroking he send another technician around 4 o'clock in the evevning the other one came with set top box wtih poor picture quality which he charged me 400 rs. and i deny to accept that set top box .so till now no other set top box has been insatlled and the existing one is also not working call in the the airtel customer service says your complaint will be resolved shortly but god knows when ...                   <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Hi, i am saravanan, I took airtel corporate sim on mid of feb2014, monthly charges of 300 rs plan (including 600 mins of local\std, free roaming charges and 1 GB of Internet data), i got bill of Rs. 1059 on feb 25for the 15 days i used in the feb[I hardly used 300 mins of voice and 900 mb of internat data], i asked them to send the correct bill via email but there is no response from their side. they banned my outgoing on march 15th due to non-payment of bill. Today(27/04/14) i got bill of Rs.1954(previous balance Rs 1059and monthly charges of Rs.903 for March). I am totally fed up with customer service of Airtel.I not even used their service completely in this month, but still they charging me Rs 900.Is there any regulatory bodies in INDIAN government to question them for these kind of activities??. iam not gonna pay the bill till i am going to get the correct bill.                     Sir, I have set a limit of Rs 600 for my Airtel postpaid bill. Even after setting my outstanding bill crossed Rs 1072. I got sms like this.. ""Namaste! Usage for your airtel mobile [protected] till 23-Mar-14 is Rs 945.00 which has exceeded your credit limit of Rs.600.00. Please pay Rs.800 immediately to ensure continued services."" I called customer care regarding this. They are telling that you have to control your usage. I told them that that's why i have set the limit for this. After asking the reason they disconnected my call. I have 2gb data usage free. But unknowingly i have used 88mb extra as i don't know how much i am using. They is no proper usage communication from Airtel and charging me about Rs. 880 for this 88MB only. I Can pay only Rs. 600 as i set the credit limit for this. They would have stopped my usage by sending SMS or stopping network when my usage exceeds my credit limit of Rs. 600. That's why the option of credit limit setting is there to control usage. Otherwise there is no meaning for this option if it crosses the limit. Now my number was not active to make out going calls/sending SMS/browing. I have free usage for calls and SMS but can't able to use as they stopped. This should be done by AIRTEL when my credit limit crosses. They cheated me like this.                             At the very outset, I would like to
                            convey my warm regards in favour of you and like to state the following: -


                            That I am a Post Paid Airtel
                            customer in your esteemed company having Mobile No. [protected].


                            Earlier the Mobile number mentioned
                            above was in Pre paid connection in the name of my wife Maramee Basumatary and
                            it was used by me. But subsequently, it was converted into Post Paid connection
                            in my favour.


                            While, the SIM was in Pre paid
                            connection, I have availed a Hello Tune facility with one year subscription
                            (already paid) and 200 MB 3G Mobile Data was available there.


                            But after converting it from
                            pre-paid to post-paid connection, the Hello Tune facility was withdrawn from my
                            existing number and the 200 MB 3G Data was also withdrawn.


                            At the time of applying the Post
                            Paid connection, the concerned agent who approached me Mr. Aswini Deka, B. D.
                            E. from Samriddhi Communication, R. G. B. Road, Guwahati – 781003 (Ph. No.
                            [protected] assured me that my earlier outstanding/services whatever it may be
                            i.e. mobile balance, 3G Data, Hello Tune Services and also other services will
                            be reset in my Post Paid connection.


                            But his assurance turns into
                            negative and false and no services (which were availed by me during my Pre-paid
                            connection) have never been reset rather while approaching the Customer Care
                            Executive they told me that a fresh charge will be levied for activation of
                            Hello Tune Services. This is nothing but cheating a bonafide customer. If I
                            knew that the concerned agent Mr. Aswini Deka will cheat me like a manner I
                            would not have availed this Post Paid connection.


                            Hence, my strong demand is that my earlier
                            Hello Tune Service may please be reset in my Post Paid connection along with
                            the 200 MB 3G Mobile Data otherwise the whole amount (deducted for one year)
                            may please be remitted in my account.


                            An early action in this regard is
                            highly solicited.

                              Hi, I am using airtel no. [protected], I have activated 2G internet plan by sending sms INTERNET to 121 and my account was activated. I started using my 2G plan over my mobile. The bill got generated this month and I was shocked to see 3581.68 INR charged against me. If my 2G plan of 125 INR was activated, why did I get this much bill? Request you to kindly rectify the bill as per the activated 2G plan. When I call up the customer care the CSR told that, I have activated a zero rental plan of 2G which I have never requested for activation. Please resolve this issue at the earliest.                                 We mailed the airtel for disconnecting the Data card connection last year and now they are coming up asking for payment after 3 months. When told that we already mailed for disconnection, we are being told that we need to go to the service center and there we need to make the disconnection. Why now after 3 months we are being told? Why we were not told when we contacted them for disconnection? Why would we pay when the customer knows that the connection has been already disconnected? I have the email proof that I mailed the Airtel last year as a final approved disconnection mail. Why is it still pending? It is airtel headache to resolve this issue.

                                Please do not call us anymore.. Customer care people do not have patience to listen. The most ridiculous thing is they are demanding money still and not even bothered that i do not want their connection from the past 4 months. I wonder whether it has been still disconnected. They just want us to pay. They are not at all ready to accept their fault that we demanded for a disconnection and they did not make. Why would we pay?
                                please do not call.. we will resolve this issue by visiting the airtel showroom with all the proof..

                                  My name is Nilesh Kumar and this is with reference to my application for new broadband connection, TNPB004067. The new connection installation is pending owing to some technical fault as described by Customer service center in Chennai. But, I would like to bring to notice the POOR service offered in communicating the same. I had applied for new broadband connection by paying online (Rs. 500) on 6th March. As mentioned, I were supposed to know within 3 days if connection is feasible in my flat or not. I got a call 2 days later and was told that connection is not feasible. This is ridiculous because we have been using 2 MBPS connection until the owner of connection moved out. I explained the same to the lady that I already have a line (wire) in my room and only thing required is a MODEM. After this, I used to get calls everyday to collect the documents. Upon, explaining that Monday to Friday is a work week, and they should come to my office and collect, they used to just say they will check and let me know and never came. I called everyday to get the documents collected stating EVERYTIME that this connection is extremely important for my PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL work, but unfortunately, NOBODY came. Only when I called everyday that the request was made high priority and on 12th March, Karthik (Contact : [protected]) came to my office to collect the document(s). I paid 500 (for installation) + 100 (for notary attestation). Having received confirmation from Karthik that installation will be done by Saturday that week, I was relieved and was waiting in anticipation for installation. I got a call on Monday from Tangadhurai (Contact : [protected]) hoping that it is for installation when I realized he was asking for documents which I had already submitted but was being asked again for the same. Once this was cleared, I called everyday again stating the IMPORTANCE of this connection for my PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL work. They explained to me reasonably that there is some technical fault because of which it is taking time. Then, one day (19th March) I received a call from Anand (Contact : [protected]) mentioning that he will come to my home at 6 pm that day. I took early release from office JUST to be there at home for installation. I will admit that I was getting impatient because of the LAZY services I have received so far and I called him like 10 times to know if he is coming, but he just disconnected without speaking clearly (I could not understand a thing he was saying). I also sent messages to his cell. I will admit again that by this time I had become extremely impatient with the communication of the problem. After waiting for another day or two I called again and then I was told that the problem has not been resolved and I should cancel the connection. This was told ONLY upon me calling everyday to ask on the status. Finally, I have requested for cancellation. I am not writing this because I want my money back or something. I just would have liked to see the installation and service done smoothly. I have used airtel services in other locations (Hyderabad, Bangalore) and I was more than satisfied with services in those locations especially Hyderabad. But this is the first time, that for installation, I have received such a POOR service. I posted the above in : * Consumer court * Feedback portals (Just dial, google review) Appreciate if you can ensure the quality of service remains high!

                                  if its not Possible, Kindly return back our money. Its pitiful that Mr. Anand is not replying back to our calls.

                                  Even I am having similar issue. But its the same guy Anand. Its high time that he is doing ths with many people. We should complaint to police. No one has complained to police against him. Thts the fault.
                                  Even I am facing the same issue. Mr. Anand has cheated many o[censored]s. No one complained to police against him. This has become his business. He took 2300 from us and was not returning the 4G dongle. After continous follow up with airtel we got the device. But he sent someone else to give the device and asked for activation charges which are fake. I did not pay him any activation charges. He is a fraud working with fake identity.

                                    All required documents along with photo and three hundred security deposit was collected by a representative of frontline salesmart pvt ltd, andheri, mumbai code-sad11105 for a new airtel post paid connection (Suggested no-[protected]) on[protected] but the smae has not been started yet. Request for the same was made on airtel website and as a result the above agency contacted me.
                                    Plz look into the matter and get my number started without any delay or direct the agency to return my documents n security deposit today itself. Thanking you in anticipation of prompt action.
