I had taken sim for prepaid to postpaid plan on 29th October . But its not activated still and does not show network . Mobile no. [protected]. Sim no. 89914 50003 02173 72919 H3 SYS1307 Airtel Claims it to be the top operator in India and they are not able to resolve this simple issue. I am really dissapointed and frustrated by its services. They have already taken 300 Rs from me and still nothing is resolved. I have called atleast 100 of times on customer care. But no response. I have visited their Airtel outlet also and after 30 days also i have not recieved sim activation. Many complaint No. have been given with claims to resolve this issue in 24-48 hours each time with no response. Please help Regards, Rohit Nayyar [protected]

    call manager not working

    I have subscribed to Airtel call manager and put two numbers in black list. I am still receiving calls from those numbers. I have complained at Airtel earlier too but did not get any response. please resolve immediately else I will have to go to consumer court for your misleading and not working facilities. I am very troubled with the blank caller calling me so many times...

    Hi, This is with Reference number is 41034940 Airtel Broadband connection. I have been requesting Airtel to disconnect my connection from past 1 and half month which has never happened instead they are generating bill for it. .Now they are giving a new reference number [protected] asking me to pay for the bill which will be generated next month. I also checked if there is any incoming traffic but nothing I have made so many requests to disconnect my connection but every time they call back me asking to retain the connection . I dont need it and their service engineer who came to my home was so rude when i asked few technical things. It hurts.and i was a customer for them for the last 8 years I have paid all bills. requested to disconnect both landline and broadband almost daily .I have removed their connection from my system for the last 1 month and i wonder how bills keep on generating. ONLY thing i want is mail from them that they have disconnected my landline and broadband .NOTHING OTHER THAN THAT . My account number is 12177900. . M.R.MANICKAVEL 24/11/2013

      My customer id : [protected] I bought a new Airtel DTH connection (registered through online). I am not able to call [protected] to activate DTH from my end. This is the problem with my registered mobile network service. (MTS : [protected]); They don't have tie up with this toll free number. ? Even if try contacting Airtel from other network mobile no; Customer care is forcing me to call from my registered mobile to that toll free number. I dont know the objective here; why Airtel is forcing to use that toll free number So could you please tell me some other way to activate DTH Service ? Or could you take this mail as a request and activate my DTH service? Please do the needful as soon as possible.

        my connection no is 45641913. from 30th october my iptv is not working. we have called customer care a;lot many times regarding the same issue but till now no one has given a permanent solution. actually we wanted to change our plan and your people told it'll tale a week for this process but after one week also it wasnt working. then they told that this plan is not available. there no coordination between your people, one says plan is available and the other says it is not and in that we are suffering.even i had a talk with floor manager Ms. Shalini she also dint took our complain seriously and did not take a solution. till now i had a talk with atleast 10 people of customer care people not a single person was able forward our complain and then they blame us that we are not clear. a technician too came to resolve our problem and he was also not able to do anything. he told to contact him directle if in future any problem persists but he was unavailable.one day iptv is working and 2 days its been locked since 30th october we are facing this.yesterday we received a call that iptv is working now but again the channels have been locked. i just request you people to give a permament solution for this problem.

          I had the worst experience of my life today. Unfortunately, I am using airtel 3G data plan for the past 4 months and I regret it very much. I wanted to close my data plan 2 months back but the franchisee said it is a compulsion to keep the plan for 4 months. I asked to convert it to 250 pm plan. The first bill after this change has come to Rs. 1123. It is too much more that my expectation of around 250 according to the plan. 2nd bill (currently in process) is also getting nearabout this figure. I decided to close the plan now that 4 months condition is completed. I spent the whole day visiting franchisees and also airtel HQ in patel nagar for correction of the bill. Nothing happened. Then the franchise told me to pay Rs. 2078 due till date (which is excessive bill according to me) and bring application and ID proof also. I went back with the documents. I was then told to bring a photograph also. I have to go back home again for that. When I went back will all the documents, the franchisee didn't have the server working. I was to told to come back again on monday. I was expecting some explanation or correction for the bill, what I was told was that airtel is a very big company and what is made is made and has to be paid. After 2-3 visits to different franchisees and the HQ in Patel nagar, I still don't have the account closed (now that I have stopped asking for correction). Now, what I want is to just want to close my 3G data account with airtel and even this has made me do many rounds of airtel offices and still nothing has happened because at the last moment, their server went on on holiday till monday. I am surprised at the efficiency of airtel and it's staff! I hope to go to some franchisee again on monday, if their server has got back by then and close my account and pay my last respects to airtel. gurinder

            they again proved that they are worst network. i have requested a call regarding change of my postpaid plan to my plan via internet. many customer care exec called me asking for new connection but i told them clearly that i need change of plan for existing connection. 3 persons called me saying that they will fwd the call to higher exec but till date no body called me and those people are really giving me fake msgs that they tried to call me but i havent even got a single call. useless network...
            useless customer care exec ...
            irresponsible higher officers...


            totally the first ever worst plan for postpaid is from airtel... i regret for being airtel customer

              I recharged my Airtel phone number on 10th september for Rs. 250/- and used that to recharge 3G (1gb) by SMS. It worked fine for a couple of days, then stopped working. I went to a nearby Airtel outlet (Green Park, New Delhi) and asked them to resolve the issue. They told me that Airtel had deactivated my number on 15th September due to disuse and they couldn't do anything about it. I asked them how the number was in disuse considering it was recharged for 250/- and working prior to deactivation, they had no answer. I asked them why they had happily recharged it a few days earlier if the number was to be deactivated, and they had no answer. They said that they had no recharge records of deactivated numbers. I asked them for a refund, and they said that they could not process refunds, and connected me to Airtel Customer Care (121). The customer care 'executive' told me that he had no records of deactivated numbers, and that I should go to the nearest Airtel outlet (!!) for resolution. I renewed the number (paying Rs 25/- for the SIM), it had zero balance. Though the amount is not a big deal, I decided to post this experience here. I have no hopes of a refund, but perhaps enough complaints could bring about improvement in Airtel's service. From personal experience, I've found that Airtel 3G has better network coverage than most others, but a terribly buggy/rigged backend (recharges dropped/speeds locked to low levels/connection failure/random deactivation) and very slimy customer care staff.
              Correction: The recharge/deactivation month was october, not september.

                Trying to connect Airtel 3G in Delhi using dongle Huawei E303C. It tries to connect for a long time, then gives the message "A connection to the remote computer could not be established.". Validity will expire on 25th november, and ~2/3 of the data plan (~650 mb) is still unused. I'm tired of getting ripped off by Airtel.

                    This was one of my emails to the nodal officer: Hello, Thanks for your response and for intimating the team concerned. According to your statement, you say that the relevant team will UPDATE me on the status on the 26th of November. But according to the regulations of TRAI, the porting should occur within 7 working days ! And despite me mentioning the directions of TRAI, no corrective action has been taken up by the executive but rather sticks to earlier statement that an update will be provided by 26th. (Remember its just an UPDATE not PORTING!!!) Thus straight away neglecting the regulations of TRAI. Even otherwise, ignorance of law is no excuse. The audio call record is attached with this mail. Leave aside the update on the status, in fact the porting itself should happen within 7 working days. You are testing my patience as once in the past (Oct 20th), you have rejected my porting request without my consent ! (This is also a violation of regulation according to TRAI !) References: 1) http://www.trai.gov.in/WriteReadData/userfiles/file/measuresto%20protectconsumer... 2) http://www.medianama.com/2012/02/223-trai-asks-donor-operators-not-to-cancel-mnp... 3) Audio call recordings attached 4) Mail communications in thread for details like reference number .. etc FORMAL COMPLAINT TO THE NODAL OFFICER BANGALORE: Major Issues: 1) Rejecting my porting request which was initiated on 20th October, 2013 - Porting ID: AX232645 without my consent. 2) Pending of second porting request despite completion of 7 working days. - Porting ID: AX519184. 3) Customer care executive declining to port despite me mentioning the fact that TRAI mandates porting within 7 working days and states that an UPDATE would be provided on 26th Nov. And in this whole process I have wasted lot of time, effort and money which was absolutely unnecessary! 1) Had to travel multiple times to the recipient operator unnecessarily to understand what was going on regarding my porting issue. (Remember travelling in Bangalore is damn hectic and me being a working individual, reaching the recipient operator's store within the working hours is at the cost of my professional work and time) 2) Unnecessary submission of photo copies of documents for id, residence and photographs for validation purposes multiple times. 3) Wasting ample amount of time on drafting e-mails, talking to customer care executives and bearing unnecessary bugging by AIRTEL representatives once the porting number id was requested for. (Multiple times airtel representatives called me to get details on the recipient operator and asking issues for porting and providing booby trap offers at the time when requested for porting id.) 4) Plenty amount of time and resources was spent in order to understand, gather, and equip myself with the relevant resources and guidelines of TRAI. (I had to download a call recording software and deploy it on my phone, so that I can record any call made by airtel representative, looked into TRAI websites and other blogs regarding porting guidelines) 5) Wastage of a considerable sum of money and time as I had to repeatedly recharge my phone for lesser denominations and not using monthly packs for STD calling, Data packages as I believed that I would port within the next seven days every time since Oct 20th thus ending up spending lot more than I actually would. And also had faith in an operator like airtel that it would follow regulations put up by TRAI. (Many a times I did not even recharge my phone or credit an internet pack expecting to port thus causing tremendous inconvenience to myself as well as to relatives and friends.) - Shanmukha Sreenivas P (PLATINUM AIRTEL CUSTOMER) - honorary title conferred upon me by airtel

                        I dont understand if Airtel sales guy are well aware of their connection guidelines or procedures..

                        I stay in a multifloor building where we dont have airtel broadband coverage...but the adjacent apartment is having the coverage..

                        so when i contacted this sales guy Joy ([protected]), he asked me to get the permission from apartment association manager so that he can give the connection..

                        i followed up with this manager for three days and finally got the approval...

                        Then he came and collected the documents and fees of rs 500 by cash...

                        I waited for two days and no one called me..this guy hadnt picked the call... Then i called customer care to find out the status.. i was shocked to hear that my case is closed because of no network coverage..

                        When i called this guy..he gave his manager number, who just refused by saying its not in his hands...

                        finally after 3, 4 days of follow up, This sales guy joy has told that i will get a refund and no connection...

                        > SALES GUYS DONT HAVE KNOWLEDGE..

                        > CUSTOMER CARE NEVER INFORMS US ABOUT REQUESTS..

                        >THEY SIMPLY CLOSE THE CASES WITHOUT DISCUSSING WITH CUSTOMERS..

                        VERY IRRESPONSIBLE ON AIRTEL PART...JUST WASTED A LOT OF TIME...

                        UNNESSECARY CALLS AND HEADACHE...

                          This complain is regarding reference no:11594414, registered on 12/11/2013 at 08:44pm. I made a call to the Airtel money customer care for availing the offer of Right choice magazine. As my Airtel money Super account is not eligible to make Online shopping, i asked him that can i take this offer after not eligible to make Online shopping. He said yes you can avail this offer and their will be no problem at all. I tried it but failed thrice. I called again and got to know that this offer is cannot be availed by a Super account user and than i registered this complaint because as a loyal customer, i want to purchase the Right choice magazine, i had to make a transfer of Rs1000 to my mother Airtel no. [protected] to made this Rs1400 purchase and because of that foolish representative of your customer care, i had a deduction of Rs 15 to make a transfer. Now tell me why should i bear this Rs 15 deduction. Simply i want back my Rs15 to my account.

                            I was getting repeated call from Airtel customer care to start using 4G connection. They told that they would give me a DEMO and if I satisfied with the speed then only I can buy an internet modem in rs 1500 and avail the Airtel 4G service. So I went for the DEMO. The speed was as per my satisfaction and I bought the modem and start availing the service. First one month everything was good. Then after one month I was getting disconnection in every 5 min and the modem was not getting connected after that for a long time. So it became useless for me. I lodged a complaint and after 2/3 days one engineer came to my place and told me the problem is in my modem and I have to visit nearest service center with is about 20 km away from my home. So I visited there and they took the modem from me for 4 hours and returned me back saying that it should be fine now. When I returned back to my home I again faced the same problem. So I lodged complain again. Again after 2/3 days one engineer came v to my home and told me it is a network issue. They closed the ticket by saying this network issue is just because some other high rise building near to my apartment and nothing could be done in this case. First of all, I do not agree their argument as there is no development in recent times. So it is not possible that suddenly the network became so worst within one month that I can not use it. Secondly I live in the 6th floor in a 12th floor building and all other buildings are at least 100 ft away. Now I have no option other than closing the connection. I am fine with paying whatever I have used. But why should I pay for the period when I could not use the connection? Secondly I had to bought a modem in rs 1500/- which I could use only one month. Why should not they return that money to me and take back the modem? I do not know the technical possibility but considering the whole situation, I think they somehow made the connection better for a month when I purchased the modem and took the connection just to push me to buy the modem with 1500/- and after 1 month they channelized that bandwidth to somewhere else to push someone else to buy an internet modem in rs 1500/- .

                            I got several call from Airtel 4G over last one month but not any solution yet. My problem is not solved. As per advice of Air tel customer care I have closed my connection as they could not gave any solution and virtually suggested to close down the connection.

                            I am fine with it. Now my equation is I had to buy a modem with rs 1500 from airtel for 4G connection. Now within a month i had to close the account for Airtel's network problem. It is not like that for the first month when I took the connection and when I got the demo. Then why airtel should not gave me back the rs 1500 that i spent to purchase the 4g moden? I should i pay for the modem fo using only one month?

                            Besides, I have already created several tickets ( ticket no 53587799,[protected] to airtel. Airtel representative visited my home for several times and talk to me more that 10/12 time asking the same thing. So i think Airtel already have all the information required.

                            My mistake is that i believed the false promise of Airtel 4g team and closed my already settled internet connection to avail airtel 4g connection. Now they could not solve my issue in last one and half months and i am facing huge problem for not having internet connection over last one and half month.

                              I've planned to Portable my current network Reliance GSM to Airtel Postpaid and submitted all the required documents on November 5th, 2013 at Airtel office, Begumpet, Hyderabad.On receiving the submitted documents, Airtel Customer care executive Manasa promised me that the Portable to Airtel gets activated in 7 working days I dint get any notification or intimation either from Reliance GSM nor from Airtel for the first 10days. I've visited Airtel office enquiring for the same but they keep on said that its in process. In this process, all incoming connections to my current Reliance GSM network got deactivated suddenly and I've no contact number in use. On enquiring the issue, Airtel staff Manasa comes up with an explanation that My application to Airtel got rejected due to technical problems and i need to re-submit all supported document and wait till next 7 working days to get it activated. I am a software engineer and in this 16 days period, I was unable to attend to any of our client calls and it made a big impact on my job.                                   My airtel 4g connection is not working from last 25 days. I went outside city and it started giving problem. It was told that this 4G connection will work everywhere. But it was not working. I raised a complain on 11th of November and clearly told in the complain that i ll not be available at my home from 9 AM to 6 PM. But your person try to deliver sim on 12th afternoon without informing me( I don't know whether it is true or false because i dint get any call from your team). From that day onward i am calling customer care each and every day and no body responded. Even i asked your customer care team to connect me to the Manager. But Manager was not available all the times. I am very disappointed with the service and i am unnecessary paying bill. Please take a request to discontinue my airtel 4G connection. In future i will not suggest anybody to use any airtel item. The customer service is poorest in India. My mobile number is[protected]. My airtel 4G number is [protected].

                                    The extra clip charges are being charged i.e. rs. 25 every month from past 7 years ( december 2006).
