Airtel has, as of yesterday, barred all calls from and to 96*****120 (Trivandrum number). When contacted, they say an address proof need to be submitted to the nearest showroom to get the calls unbarred. They refuse to escalate the issue and they refuse to raise a complaint. The SIM was purchased in 2008 and they are requesting for an address proof in 2013. It is fine if they want address proof, but they should request for it, which they did not and they do not have the rights to barr calls.I'm completely dissatisfied and feel cheated. I'm considering taking it up to the Consumer Court. Please advise me on how I should go about it.

    Dear Sir, My Landline No.[protected] A/c.No.[protected] Name: Lakshmi Rajam, Advocate I am using of your Broad Band data connection for the past five months, While getting connection, I requested your marketing person Mr.Mahesh ([protected] ) to install me the Plan Rs.699/- he promised me that after installation this will be switch over to the requested plan .But after receiving your bills every month, it seems that my request was not complied with, and the unused data's the outstanding bill was arises for Rs.4729/- this could not be bared by me and requested to change the Rs.699/- unlimited plan immediately, and waive the excess payments which I didn't use. Hope this request will be considered at the earliest or otherwise disconnect the connection immediately after dropping a Mail. Regards Lakshmi Rajam

      I m using this service since 2008 and due to bad services I stoped it for almost 1yr but recently we started the service again but never thought I have to go through all that again as just 5mins ago I spoke with airtel dth customer care representative today but as usual again they talk like they r owner of the co. they only do whatever they want and started arguing when I asked that I was geting pop up if I recharge with Rs 550 I will get channel 158 free for 1month but I did not get and when I called up airtel rep tlling that offer is closed even everyone talk in same way eigther jr employee or sr emplyee I never thought co. Like airtel hire such who does not know jobs properly as they realy does not deserve this job.everytime when we face any issue with the service I have to pay even when product was in warranty still I paid now its enough and want to discontinue with airtel and want all my money back.

        Sir, We had contacted the call center yesterday and we got to know that without our permission you have provided us Rs.100 on voice call free on our Airtel landline number [protected] from 8th October instead of free call of Rs 100/- on mobile Number [protected] .but we don't require this service rather provide us the earlier service i.e.Rs.100 recharge from the month of Oct to an airtel prepaid number([protected]) otherwise we have to surrender the connection.           Hello Airtel, I am getting miss call form [protected] every day around 11 pm, but when I call back they are not attaining some time and some time not responding, please let me know who, s number is this so that i can take legal action on it, this is Airtel number. thanks in advance, please take this as very serious issue because this calls come when I sleep. .

          » Do not respond to any suspicious missed calls from unknown numbers.
          Do not get lured into any financial transactions or divulge any personal information like IMEI, Bank Account number and other information to callers offering prize money or lottery winnings. Also do not respond to any instructions to dial an international number to get the prize money.
          » This luring may also be done through SMS messages offering prize money and seeking personal details on a specified email ID. Please do not respond to these.
          » Do not respond to any SMS/Email from unknown sources prompting you to call on a number or go to a site offering free download of content/movie clips/pictures.

            As per the service engineer detail, there is problem in LNB of the set. I have purchased the set of box in 21 sept, 2013. from the first day it is creating problem. 1st set of box was changed, again problem is not solved. now there is problem in LNB, as all the channels are not shown include in the package. please provide me new full airtel digitel tv. instead of old product. customer care only forwarding the complaints, all in vain. please take immediate strict action, rajesh, registered m no.               mera naam shiv kumar madan hai. Approx. 2 saal pahle maine apna vodafone no.[protected] ko airtel me port kiya tha. Nov.2012 se mera bill galat aa raha hai. starting me maine kai baar customer care par complaint karne ki kosis ki lakin har baar mujhe ek hi jawab mila ki abhi server down hai 4 ghante baad call karna. Ant me preshan ho kar maine customer care par call karna hi chod diya, par har mahine mai apna bill check karta tha aur jo thik hota tha utna amount mai pay kar deta tha. Airtel ne wrong bill par har mahine late fee laga laga kar sep.2013 tak approx 1000/- rupees bana diya. Aur sep2013 me mera number band kar diya. Is baare me maine kai baar customer care ko mail ki lakin unhone mera bill thik karne se inkaar kar diya aur kaha ki bill thik hai agar service activate karwaani hai to bill pay karna padega.

                dear Sir/Madam, I have a Airtel postpaid connection numbered : [protected]. I have been using this number for several months now and have no outstanding payments on the phone. Today (2nd November 2013), I was sending SMS'ed and suddenly the phone stopped working. I waited to check if the service disruption was transient and after half an hour, called my own number from another mobile. To my horror, someone took the phone and informed me that he has been using the number for a year and a half ! As soon as I heard this, I called up Airtel customer support, spent some 50 minutes, explaining the problem and after a lot of convincing, got them to stop services to my number. They gave me a complaint number[protected]. They also confirmed that they had issued a duplicate SIM the same day (2nd November 2013) and did not quite believe me when I told them that I had never requested for a duplicate SIM. I work from home and use this number very frequently every day. I am now not sure how I can work from my home in Pune as my company is in Bangalore. Worse, Airtel folks are not even interested in telling me how to solve this mess. Also, who happens if my number has been misused for illegal activities ? Should I file a police complaint ? cheers, Kedar

                  My fixed landline number for the broadband connection [protected]. The connection stopped working since early morning 2/11/2013. I have to login from home for work and hence was very discomforted by this. I called up the customer care and raised complaint which they said will be resolved before 4pm. I told them to expedite the process since I've to work from home using internet. I called two more times asking them to hurry up the process, put it on priority yet so far there has been absolutely no response or updates on the issue. Now my workday is over, I've lost one day's worth of money. This is very disappointing that they can't even give any update or even a response. If you have a 2000 plan plus taxes which makes it about 70rs per day, they don't even care if it goes down for an entire day. No quick resolution. Better wait for 24 hours after which they may tell you to wait more. This is horrible.

                  And it's surprising since Airtel, of all companies, have always been quick while coming up with a resolution. Now tomorrow is diwali and so I don't suppose anything will happen tomorrow.

                    I requested to convert my prepaid to postpaid corporate. Sandip (Manager) called me and promised me that i would get fancy numbers so i asked him 3 connections. But after the activation of first number he is not even answering my call. No response from Nodal or Appellate. One day sandip called me and said " you can raise complaint to any one, even then no one can ask me." Being a manager he is threatening me. He is Speaking something harsh. Please don't believe in airtel especially frauds like Sandip.

                      I am disgusted with the way airtel is providing customer care at Kadvanthra. On google search, customer care number at Kadvanthra is provided on the web; but the person attending on the other end has no knowledge of customer care number, and not in a position to help. Could the authorities get their acts together and provide factual information to public to address their grievances?

                        I had an unforgettable experience with airtel customer care, I called 121 and raised a simple request to activate ISD pack on my number. I was told by the customer care Rep to send an SMS “ISDPACK 60” to 51619 which I did however even after waiting for 48 hours the pack was not active. I sent another message and on both occasions I received a reply that your request was successfully captured however the pack is still not active. At this point I decided to call customer care to report this problem. The Rep who answered the call sounds least interested to help and passed the call to his supervisor who also did not help me with the request and asked me to send an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com. Next day I got a call from another supervisor from airtel who couldn’t help with either and said the only option to activate the pack is to keep sending the SMS on 51619. It seems on one at airtel has the correct info on how to resolve this query. I am very disappointed with this experience and will switch to Vodafone.

                          Around 1st of October I bought an airtel 4G Dongle with sim number [protected]. It has been a nightmare since then!!! After the activation was done on 8th of October, I tried using the dongle First it gave me an error message that there is no registered sim. On 8th of October itself I raised a complaint regarding this. 53589034 was the complaint number. the next day an engineer visited me and took away my 4G dongle for repair. After a few days they said the issue is sorted and one guy came home on the 12th with my dongle. He tried installing the dongle on my laptop. After many tries, it finally showed that the SIM is getting detected and then when we tried to connect, it said status connected but I was not able to browse. The engineer tried for 1 hour and still I could not browse. Later since I was going out of station, I had to leave. The engineer told me that it could be a problem at their network end. He will check internally and revert back to me. Then there was no response or feedback from him. Since I was travelling a lot the next two weeks I also had no time to follow up on the case. Next I call on 29th of October to check if they can or cannot solve this issue. Please note. All this while I have not been able to browse a single site. using the 4G dongle. When I called airtel customer care on 29th, i am surprised to find that the earler case number 53589034 was closed saying issue is solved!!! I was totally taken aback!!! No one from airtel even bothered to find out if the issue was solved, and they just closed the case!!! Anyway the rep who was talking to me in customer support raised a new ticket on 29th Ticket number 53553948. He said that the issue will be resolved by 31st morning. I agree to wait. To my surprise on 30th, I get an SMS from Airtel saying they tried to reach me and since I could not be reached they are closing the case!!! This was the heights!!! The entire world is able to reach me on my mobile number except airtel staf[censored] Now I call the airtel sales representative who sold me the dongle to try to intervene and solve this issue... he said he will check and revert the next day. Next day 31st October, I call up the airtel sales representative. I tried him many times over the day. He never picked up. Tired, I call up customer support again on 31st October. This time I talk to a floor manager. He assures me that a Technician will call me within one hour and that he too would call me in 2 hours time to find out if all is well. He gives me a new service request number 53577189. I dont get a single call!!! Today, 1st of November, I again call up customer service. They say the same excuse again. They tried calling me and I could not be reached!!! I beg with them for one number where I can call and talk to someone who can solve my issue... The customer care executive gave me a number saying that was the Nodal officers number and I can talk to them directly about this problem.. The number given was [protected] and[protected]. I try calling up the mobile number, that again takes me to an IVR!!! not a person!!! Then I call the land line number given. That was a FAX NUMBER. Now I again try the airtel sales rep from a different number. He answered the call. And lo and behold!!! HE STARTED SHOUTING AT ME!!!...when i say how dare you shout at a customer... HE DISCONNECTS THE CALL...then he tries calling me up again...When I call back he says again starts shouting at me and says...ARE YOU THE ONE WHO PAYS ME SALARY...OR DID YOU GIVE ME MONEY???? This was the last straw!!! I again called up the airtel customer care. I opt for the billing department from the IVR. I told the executive who answered my call that I want to cancel my service and I want my money back. This was the best surprise that was comming for me. She says I have an outstanding amount of 700 odd rupees for USAGE!!! Apart from the torture that Airtel has given me... now they are going to charge me for that!!! 700 Rupees!!! Really????? I told her, I want the connection cancelled and my 1500 Rs. refunded for the dongle. She has raised the request for me. Request number is 53589034. But she is not sure of any refund or waiver of the USAGE charges... Can somebody help me here???? I am drained and tired!!!

                            i am an airtel customer, ..while i was switching to airtel thy offered me 2sec/1paise offer for 3 months..but they only gave it for 2 months..that too charging 1.5paise/sec for first 2 min...i take it light..the most damn thing is they dont even charge 1paise/sec during normal time..they go for 1.5 paise per second...

                                I have faced a very bad an unforgettable service so far from airtel.I took the connection on 24april 2013 and it was not working for 1 month. So after continues follow ups and escalations. You refunded 1 month rental. I have made around 2 to 3 calls in an average durin the entire tenure. The connection won't work for 2 to 3 days in a week and again I have to call customer care and repeat the process. Even their technical team are culprits who closes the calls without actual customer's consent and they will speak like a customer an close the call. I found this when I called their team to follow up on the pending complaint. They told me that my wife had confirmed it's working! It was a shocker that they told me that my wife confirmed from my landline number when I don't have a landline at home. Their connection is not reliable so I dint use their landline service. You actually need backup internet connection for airtel. I was in the verge of losing my job because of their bad service where I couldn't do my office work at home. Their technical team misuses the landline connection by making calls from their exchanges. I found out because my bill had landline charges when I dint use the landline. When I checked with customer care, they said that thy will refund it. But I dint get any refund. The only issue was I was in the advance rental plan so I couldn't switchover. They cheat customer by providing false billing. Another example I have it in my mail box as a proof. My billing date starts from 5th of every month. It was my1st month of service, I went on a family tour and came back on 10th, I'm getting an email from airtel that I have almost exceeded 9GB and they are giving me options to extend by paying extra money! I was dead shocked! They I spoke to them and finally try have me 4gb back stating wrong billing! From 19 th September 19th till 18th October 13 their line was down because of cable fault. Their supervisor promised me that I'll get a month extension for the error. But that can be done only after my bill shows positive since I was in an advance rental. Now they are saying that it is not possible to give extension. All cheats. None passes the calls to the senior management and they cheat innocent customers promising without giving in writing! I have used all possible languages but still they don't carry the self respect as a company. Their primary idea is to swindle customer's money. People don't go for airtel. Their management needs to correct their team else they will fall very fast! My airtel landline number[protected] Chitlapakkam circle in chennai. If any of airtel's senior executive viewing this mail, please correct your team else you will not be a senior executive anymore when people throws your company like me from the house. I dint ha a choice I lost Rs6000 by paying advance rental. They easily cheated me by saying that they will give a modem and one month extra! If there is justice in this country, kindly penalise them for cheating innocent customers. This will be a lesson for other service providers! I was going through mental agony and pressure!                                     And when i login to my a/c, they say that "you are not registered fo airtel payments bank".
                                    So i request you to please delete the a/c.

                                      i have purchasing one airtel sim fim for before 4 years, but now my sim card was blocked due to invalid address. that address is in my birth place, past 60 years my family in that address only, passport, pan card, driving license also that address only. im using this sim for net banking, cylinder refilling, facebook and important personnel& Business contact. please activate in my sim outgoing asap.

                                        What's wrong with these guys at Airtel? When the bigwigs of the company get time, kindly visit your website and go to 'manage services'. The 'last five transactions' just does not open or if it opens shows days old transactions. There is something fundamentally wrong with your site. Sometimes for hours together customers cannot the 'manage services' nonsense does not function.
