It has been more than 6 weeks now that I am following with Airtel for servicing this. All kinds of excuses are given and issue not resolved. Escalated too many times to their escalation team, their bangalore appellate and south india appellate and absolutely no resolution. I dont know what is Airtel trying to achieve. Feeling very sad that an company like Airtel is going down so badly.

    I am Using a Postpaid plan which has 100 MB of free data usage and will be charged at 30p/50 Kb thereafter. For the month of October 2013, Bharti Airtel Limited charged 2000 Rs just for data usage. When I had a conversation with Airtel Customer Care Executive, he told that "You will be charged Rs.0.30 even if the usage is 1Kb or 50Kb, so charges are valid." and this clearly depicts the dual nature of this system. when arguing on the above statement that why a consumer should pay for 49 Kb that he has not used, the customer care executive is simply not ready to accept the faulty nature of the system. I have decided not to pay the amount until it is rectified. Please take this complaint to suitable people and help the costumers.

      Dear Sir, Good day, I had taken a Pre paid connection, Sin no ([protected]) in the year 2005 . On that time the sim was in a special plan . Plan details : Airtel to Airtel - 75 min free every day Sms : 100 loacl Sms Free . Rest all charges are normal, I had raised several complaints to Airtel cvustomer care, but there was no responce from them . It had been all most 2 yr .         I had applied for a broadband service from Airtel, and paid the security money of INR 3000. Weighing the cons and pros realized that BSNL was a better option and hence took a connection from BSNL. THE Refund money of INR 3000 was supposed to come from the company. Every time i call them, i am gifted with a new complain number with a resolving date of one month from the date i have called. And mistakes like address being wrong, courier company's fault happen a lot more frequently in the company where all addresses and flow of couriers are controlled using databases accurate data bases. Anyways, Its 3 months and i still have no sign of when i get my INR 3000 BACK. I am a student and have college 6 days a week and hence no time to go and fight the company in a Consumer Court. the Complain numbers : 39475854, 39119390, 40401922

          Fixed line [protected] DSL [protected] AC no [protected] I was using 5 Gb plan, it got over and I received a call from call centre that as a premium customer I have the option o[censored]pgrading to 30 Gb plan at a discounted price. I asked her to activate 30 Gb on 1st November. On 1st November I made my first call, I told them that the new plan was not activated. They asked me to wait for 4 hours. On 2nd November around noon I checked, it still wasn't. I called again and was told it will happen in 4 hours. I checked on the night it was still not activated, I calked 3rd time and asked to talk to a manager. They refused, I asked for complaint number, they did not give any. Instead the lady gave her ID number (which I will reveal, if someone responds to this complaint). I was then fed up and gave up. Then on 6th November the internet started working at fast speed, so I assumed that 30 Gb is activated. But today the speed became slow again and I received message that my 5 Gb is 100% consumed. I'm so angry and frustrated with Airtel for such criminal incompetence, I actually have emails and messages from Airtel telling me that they had received my request for upgrade to 30 Gb but still I'm on 5 Gb which is finished again as recently I consume more. I have no power to call them again and am trying to upgrade through their website. But I don't trust them, also I don't know if they will honour the discounted upgrade package or not. And not to mention, in October my binatone airtel modem was not working and Airtel took 10 days to replace the modem and I have not checked my bill but I'm sure they would have billed me for the period the modem was down. Angry but also frustrated with Airtel. Regards, Yogi

            Hi Customer Complaints Forum, On 9th March 2013, Airtel executive came for Airtel Broadband connection and collected Rs.3000, address proof(Passport Copy)and filled forms for new connection.2 days then, I was informed that there is no technical feasibility for new connection in my area.(JP Nager, Bangalore).I asked for refund and till date, it's not been refunded.It has been more than 6 months.By June, I got a refund cheque with my name wrongly written - my surname misspelled(neither the form or passport copy has such name).That is deliberatly done from airtel side..I raised complaint in Airtel Office, next to Jayadeva hospital and they requested for name change in their records.I have provided my PAN Card copy to correct the name on[protected].They assured me the amount will be refunded in 45 days. Till date, I havent received my refund amount.Its a very pathetic customer care service from Airtel not ready to take complaints through Phone on Airtel Fixed/Broadband.               Since I had consumed my 103/- 3G Internet data plan om my AIRTEL mobile ([protected]); has deduct my entire 420+ rs from my main balance. Within minutes this has happened only Internet was on and I have not browsed anything. Unjustified customer support from AIRTEL is not ready to pay back my balance. I also had several other issues with AIRTEL o[censored]nnecessary balance deductions with Internet connection issues in past. Customers please beware if you have more balance in your account. They'll deduct your balance with some or the other reason.

                Dear Sir/Madam, This is regarding my mother's Airtel SIM card which she has been using for the last 6+ years, recently i bought my mother an iphone which required a microSIM, when i went to get a microSIM i was told that the number is registered on some other name which is strange to say the least. We do remember is like any other responsible citizen, mobile phone user in India, we had submitted my mother's identity document when we purchased the SIM card and since its been quite sometime since she is using the card, we would like the number to remain with her. Can someone please please help us in this matter ?? We can resubmit my mother's identity documents once again if need be to keep the same number. I sumbitted my own documents for it. now i am in need of a micro sim. when i contacted the airtel office for this, they said that this number is registered in someothers name and we cant provide you the new sim. I don want to change my number as I have given it to most of them. also I don want to port from airtel as it is the best network. please help me in this regard.

                I Aafa J S were using an airtel sim number [protected](prepaid) since May 2014 upto 3 January 2017 which was taken by my father T.Somanathan (address: Thankanivas Parasuvaikal P O Parassala Trivandrum 695508) from Parasuvaikal. On 5 January 2017 from customer care executive I came to know that the sim is converted to a postpaid connection in the name of someother person on the date 4 January 2017 without the authorization of my father T Somanathan. That person hacked my facebook and gmail account by using this phone number and posted some vulgar posts on that. I need to know the details of the current owner of this sim and from which showroom this was happened. Please respond as early as possible.                   I had recharged my airtel number [protected] with 655 rupees unlimited 3G ( 3GB+unlimited at 80kbps) data plan on 08 nov 2013. but after completing 3 gb data my downloading speed remain only max 10 kbps instead of 80 kbps that airtel show and declared. shame on airtel for wrong and fake announcement. solve my issue for my speed. shriram panday.                     Earlier, I was using MTS modem for internet service. After MTS got shut down, I got a call from Airtel stating that they will provide me same service plan. I used Airtel 3G modem for 2 months and paid my bills; however suddenly my service got disconnected and customer service centres had no answer to this. After this, they sent me bills every month with 'Rental', which I am not paying as modem is not active yet. When I visited airtel gallery and even when the recovery guys visited my place for payment, I told them that service discontinued from there end and I will not make payment for the service which I have not taken. Every time i get a call for bill payment, I politely tell them my issues but they want me to pay the pending bills first Also, they ask me to cancel the service; however I dont want to cancel the request from my end as this is not my fault if they dont proivde me with the service and company can stop service from their end and if they want to

                      I made a recharge of internet pack of Rs125 on 20th September(approx) on my Mobile NO [protected] that was to end up on 19th October. But Airtel by its any unknown policy made extension of validity of this pack (or some other) till 18th November 2013 and even I had some 800+ MB data left on my last recharge which was forfeited by the company on 19th October. After 19th October I was not even able to make any internet recharge on my no [protected]. I made a few calls to Airtel Customer care as well they only gave me information that you cannot do any recharge on your no till 18 November. Even the customer care executive was such a rude person he was not ready to listen and was very harsh with me. I would like to take this matter in front of everyone such that Airtel always repents on its mistakes at least for those who have been long time customers.

                        i am really irritated from your Airtel DTH service, because I don't active your service i get continuously SMS from last three days.
                        I several times informed about this through, phone calls, emails etc.Still on I get the same. Rectify my problem as soon as possible and revert back. If you can't solve the problem let me know the alternative option.other wise i will take legal advise on the same.

I am using now airtel connection . my mobile no is [protected](kolkata).on 7th novmember I got a call from the no [protected] and [protected] and they said me that I have won ten lakh so I have to deposit 2900 rupess to the PNB account [protected]. I have depositted the money. but now they are demanding more money. I am a simple poor man.please sir do something.

                            To whom ever it my concern: Number: [protected] Name: Mohammed Azhar Shaikh Let me get you up to speed: I had called in yesterday for an issue with my broadband (Frequent disconnect) and was informed someone would try to call me and ensure it would be fixed. I received a call at 8 pm in the night from a technician ( Muzamil ) telling me he will come down now and fix the issues, I informed him I am not available and provided him a time (10 am) for the next day . TO my horror the person shouts back to me “ Fine it’s your problem you solve it yourself”, when I asked him why are you speaking like this, he reply “ Let me see how you fix your problem”, and hug up the phone on me. Is it too much of an asking to provide convenient time for the person to visit? Who has authorized your staff to misbehave with you customers? Is it not the process to check for the customer convenient time before you want to enter their residence? To add to the ferocity, I make 3 calls yesterday to log a compliant, Two people refused to log the issues and finally I informed the third person to log a complaint for the incident I narrated to him he just said “I will provide you with the complaint number and guess what he placed me on hold a never returned from 22 min. Again I made a call and then the person told me he will log a complaint and I will get an update on this. I informed his till this complaint is resolved I don’t want anyone from airtel at my residence. For which he confirmed to me that they will call me up and update me about the complaint and until then I will not hear from the onsite guys. Today, 11 am I see the a person from airtel at my door steps telling me what is the problem and when informed I will speak to the airtel care about it then again shouted at me and my mother and went off. I again tried calling the customer care at 11.26 am and I asked for a supervisor. I was on hold for 20 min and the call was disconnected. So I resorted to go online to place a complaint, and when I reviewed the complaint raised yesterday it says closed without even informing me what happened or anything the complaint was closed. I realize what the point in raise complaints as AIRTEL does not seem to be concerned for the customer problems. Let me make one thing very clear L I am not here to be abused or entitled for such unruly behavior from your staff especially for a service I obtain, the least I can expect is basic courtesy and some telephonic etiquettes. I would highly appreciate basic manners being educated to your staff on handling customer. A person only accepts a professional behavior to solve issues, unprofessionalism and arrogance is not what customer service is. I would like to close down all my airtel connection with you. (Landline, mobile & Broadband). I no more believe that your staf[censored]nderstand what customer service and even as a company you don’t value your customer. Please look into the matter as these types of missed call from Pak like countries not safe for us as well as for Airtel. Keep me update also so that I will take care of these types of missed calls.                                 On 6th Nov.'13, I visited the Airtel Store located at 17, I-Block Market Sec-12 Noida in order to get a Micro sim for an already existing postpaid corporate connection. I went on behalf of my husband Monojit Mandal (mobile no.[protected]) with all the required documents and photographs as was told to me by a customer care executive whom I had contacted over phone. Once I reached there I was simply denied the issue of a Micro SIM; the reason being my husband has to be present on his own. It is really irritating; I understand for security reasons, the authorized owner of the particular mobile connection has to be present. But there can be a lot of inconvenience & urgency of the matter can be extreme such that the actual member may not be available in person. My question is when I am providing with all the required documents with a valid ID proof of the owner of the mobile connection, why was I straightaway denied of the Micro SIM in spite of the fact that I am the concerned person's wife. The company should keep some provision for the same. Moreover the person at the store did not even consult any of his superior nor did he ask me to talk to any of his superior. On top of that, he gave wrong information that the micro sim can be delivered to the desired address ( Please note that my residential address is 45 km away from the store) without any shipping charges. Later on, the same day I had ordered for the same by dialing customer care at 121 & I was told that I would get the sim within 2 days with an applicable shipping charge. But we have not received the micro SIM yet. The most annoying part is that these Airtel guys do not know anything and most of the time provide wrong information. My only request to Airtel is that issuing a sim card for an already existing postpaid connection to the wife of the authorized person will not lead to any security threat when the person is producing all the required documents with a valid ID proof. This has caused a lot of inconvenience to us & moreover, the Airtel guy misguided & told that there was no extra charge for shipping. It seems Airtel people always fool the innocent customers. I will surely discourage everyone I know from subscribing any kind of Airtel connection. - Manjira Saha

                                    For the last 2 months i am receiving same message for 2 times from airtel digital TV. I complainted several time sto customer care. Few point I would like to point here- 1-customer care is saying that they will call back with in 24hrs. but there is no response. 2-they are proving after asking for the complaint no but when i check with next customer care guy there are saying there is no such complaint no exists. airtel such a big organization is not all good at customer service. onething they need to take care that unless and until they stop the unethical activities for making money and no improvement in service then definately people will opt for other vendors.

                                      This complaint is being made out of sheer disgust because of total non-responsive and casual attitude of Airtel Digital TV customer care(tel:121500).Complaint was first made on 12th Oct. HD recorder would hang .TV was interrupted and recording was not working.The recorder was changed after 2 days but it developed same trouble after one day. Recorder was again changed on 26th Oct.but developed problem next day.Since that day complaint has been lodged many times. Ref complaint IDs33462616, 33916810, 34144150. Last complaint ID is34244507 of 29thOct. Everytime I call customer care asks me to confirm my address and Pincode though this info is all available with them.I have made atleast 20 calls each lasting 10-22 minutes.After getting fed up, on 01st Nov.I insisted on speaking to a senior manager. My call was diverted to senior desk.My whole story was repeated to Senior Managers Shalini, Himanshu, Abhishek and some more.They all assure that problem will be resolved 'next' day.These are all lies so that they can get rid of me and my call. They are all culprits in this harassment.They all promise to call me back. Never once have I received call nor has the vendor ever called me as is expected of them. The vendor is totally non-committal and has been telling me that repaired recorders are all bad. Incidentally, Rs.750 have been debited to my account even though the recorder has not been replaced Today again I spoke to Senior Manager Shiv Mohan but there is no further response. I am deprived of TV viewing for a month and not liable to pay TV charges for this period. I demand most urgent action to replace the faulty recorder and action against erring and irresponsible senior managers Brig(Retd)( Amarjit Singh.

                                      09 Nov: Since there was no response in the forenoon I called customer care (12150) at about 4.0 pm, who after checking with their vendor confirmed that set top box(HD recorder)will be replaced in the evening. I must thank Ankur from your Gurgaon office. He called at about 5.30 p.m. to confirm that a new STB is being provided. Vendor's engineer brought the supposedly new STB but it turned out to be faulty. The guy named Gauri Shankar gave the impression that they don't have a serviceable STB and all this is being done to hoodwink the customer and the consumer forum.Further, when I asked him to connect the old STB back he did that reluctantly because he knew that some setting had been changed.A few channels which were working also disappeared with error message 14.WE are without TV now and no indication as to when the STB will be changed. The vendor engineer is rude, arrogant and has been harrassing us for the last almost a month now .Perhaps expects some favour as we are at his mercy!.Please resolve my complaint tomorrow as I and my family are without TV/recorder.

                                      Vendor's engineer brought a supposedly new STB at about 7 in the evening as was given to understand by Mr. Ankur of your Gurgaon office. This turned out be faulty. Apparently this was a ploy to get rid of the consumer forum and the engineer who brought this perhaps knew about this. Mr. Gauri hankar the vendor's engineer who has visited before also is literally harassing us, perhaps expects favours as we are at his mercy! Airtel Digital must investigate this. Further, when we requested him to connect then old faulty STB so that we could atleast watch a few channels he did some thing so the old STB is now totally non-functional. We don't have the TV now at all. Mr. Vinod, the vendor's rep. who is playing the tricks togather with Gauri Shankar refused to listen to our complaint.He has not given any time or date when the STB will be replaced and our TV viewing will start. Request you to arrange early replacement by a new STB as promised and take action against the erring vendor /engineer
