I Ajay Kumar holding Airtel No. [protected] and since 2011, I am not using this no. however I have paid advance rental (Rs. 700 for 24 months) in 2011 which was expired in October 2013, but after expiry Airtel has changed the plan of Rs. 298 + tax without getting confirmation from customer, and since then they are raising bill icnluding late fees also. Now after expiry of period Airtel should contact the customer to know the plan which customer want rather opting by themself the high monthly rental plan or they should continue with the old plan ie Rs. 700 (24 months), whereas they are irritating customer by sending bills with high monthly rental alongwith late fees, this is really very unfortunate and this kind of attitute is not expected from company like Airtel. Inspite of so many emails they are not accepting their mistake and continously chasing for payment. Regards Ajay Kumar Mob- [protected]

Dear Airtel Team
In-spite of verbal assurance by your team regarding reversal of all charges and issuance of fresh bill for Rs. 700+Service tax against rental for 24 months, whereas I rceeived bill of Rs. 1395.35/- includng penalty.
I fail to understand the attitute towards customer who has not used this number sincce last two years.

Very surpringly after confirmation by Airtel team they have again sent wrong bill worth Rs. 1395.35/- which is inclusive of all false charges and penalty whereas this was suppose to be Rs. 700 + tax.

      Hi, For my last bill[05-Nov-2013 to 04-Dec-2013] I got invalid amount, which is the highest amount I have got till as bill. From 05-Nov-2013 to 30-Nov-2013 my plan was 999 solitaire and changed to myPlan from 01-Dec-2013. But in the bill the charges are calculated based on my plan for the whole last month. I have tried calling customer care and the executive who attended is an irresponsible fellow who have not provided me the reference ID and also nobody from Airtel has contacted me till now.

        I called Airtel TV customer service and lodged a complaint regarding the set-top box on[protected]. I was told that the technical representative will visit home and get the things sorted till 1230 hours on[protected]. He called us the same day saying he is in the nearby area and will reach our home soon and asked about the location. We told him the directions. Later he called again saying that he is on his way, but didn't turn up. We called him in the morning today on[protected] and asked if he is coming, and he said he was not able to come yesterday but will come today. We waited whole day but he didn't come today too. Is this the customer service you guys provide to our customers?? Why does your team keep making promises but don't turn up. Last time i faced problem it took me couple of weeks to get your guys come for a home visit, this time again it is the same issue. I want the things to be sorted by tomorrow dated[protected] as I am not able to watch television because of your incompetency. My customer id is [protected]. It's in Dehradun.

            I am Jayakarthigayan Sridharan. I bought an Bharti Airtel Prepaid Sim card last saturday for my wife (on 30th November 2013). The dealer informed us that the sim will be activated within 3 days of time. But the sim is not activated till now.We checked with the dealer and he confirmed that all the required documents are submitted to Bharti airtel. When we called to Airtel Customer Care, they said airtel won't be able to do anything for delay in activation and i have to contact only my dealer. As i already mentioned, my dealer already confirmed lots of time that all the documents are sent to airtel and he is not able to tell why the activation process is taking so long. We are paying lots of money as roaming charge due to this issue and don't how a customer can know why his sim activation is taking so much time. Please do the needful and activate the sim quickly. I made complaint to customer care executive many time, but no solution was made. They submit my complaint and gave me time that the problem will be solved in 2-3 days.                 Dear Sirs, Greeting for the day!!! Thank you very much for giving us the hasselfree network and service to us. I have a long pending concern with the my another mobile number +[protected] which has not been resolved since Jun'13. I have been contacting Airtel customer service team [through e-mail & phone calls] but no solution and hence I'm approaching you for resolving the problem. Concern: 1. Activation of 3G GPRS service on my mobile number [protected] & rental charges - I have not given any request to activate the 3G GPRS service on my number. This was noticed only when i was looking at the month end bill. - Immediately i called up customer care and enquired about this but none of the person gave me the answer. The only answer i got is that the server is down and pls contact us later. - There is no usage of this service by me [usage timing = 00:00:00 Hrs] and charged monthly rentals on my number. - Since than i requested your team to stop the services on my number until the problem is resolved [after disconnection there will be no monthly rental charges, as confirmed by your customer care executive] - Every month i started getting one phone call from your airtel team regarding the payment and when i explain this concern, they never call me again. - Today i got the call from Legal dept. and for which i'm totally confused. My sincere request to settle down this issues are: 1. Kindly wave-off the additional charges that are being charged on my number [Monthly rental of 3G services] and will pay the remaining bill. 2. If above option cannot be done, than I'll make the payment of Rs 1600/- and give me discounts in coming month bills for the extra charged amount. 3.                     Hi, This is to inform you that I filled up an online application for Airtel billing connection, I kept getting calls from the executives, i entertained few & couldn't answer a few. few days back an executive names Manish called me and asked for the appointment, I asked him to send the doc boy on Saturday 30th Nov. When the doc boy called me he said he can't provide service in Bhiwandi, i said OK and hung up. today I got a call from Manish again and he said why aren't you answeing calls and so on...when I asked him to not to call me back he got upset!!! and asked me about my residemce, when I said Bhiwandi, he said "Oh Bhiwandi, toh bhi itna attitude" and he HUNG UP ON ME!!! I take this as my insult and won't tolerate such things. manish's cell number [protected]

                      Airtel sales manager promised me a broadband connection after coming to my premises, and collected advance money from me. My location is a new apartment building, which the sales person knew very well at the time of getting the form filled from me, and promised me a new connection within a week. Its been close to a month now, hearing updates from the sales manager that the connection will be provided soon but nothing happened. Finally, after registering a formal complaint with Airtel, they said sorry we can't provide the connection to the new apartment building due to unfeasibility. My complaint is, why did the sales manager make me fill the form before enquiring about the feasibility of the connection, and even after that, never gave correct updates to me. I would have gone for another vendor from Day 1 had I known this before. I had to call them everyday as absence of broadband connection seriously affects my work. They made me suffer every single day by not even picking up my calls.

I recently applyed for a duplicate airtel simcard, the airtel agent informed me that this number is registered in somebody else name. So i cant get a duplicate sim. When i spoked to a customercare officer he told me to write a letter requesting to change it to my name and i need to provide the last few transaction history to confirm that i'm the one using this number.                           Not receiving SMS from on my Airtel sim

                          Hi, I am not receiving any SMS from any network except Airtel most of the times, further I am not getting messages from various banks, IRCTC, makemytrip etc. This problem started from 11th Nov 2013 and I have contacted customer care atleast 20 times since then, everytime they tell me that the complaint has been logged and will be resolved by such and such date and time and I never get any response. This is really frustrating as I am unable...

                          Hi,

                          I moved from Bangalore to Delhi but as requested by Airtel, I requested for cancellation of my land line and broadband 7 days prior to my moving. I had requested for the cancellation so that the service can be cancelled by the 26th of November. Now due to Airtels lack of response and bad customer care, the line is still active and new tenants living in the Bangalore flat are using the service. Needless to say I will not pay past November 26th, 2013.

                          I have made multiple calls and nothing and have sent multiple emails and the only response I get from [protected]@in.airtel.com is as follows:

                              This is Kavidoss, we are using the Airtel mobile service no. [protected], [protected], [protected] for more than 7 years. Airtel sales executive have cheated my old father (Devadoss) for data sim [protected] and now they were asking us to pay 2500. Sequence of action: 1. We have subscribed to 3G plan for our newly shifted home in Kelambakkam (rs. 1000 Unlimited) for mobile no [protected] on May 2013 2. In our area the 3G signal was very week and we are unable to use the service 3. We have made compliant for 3G service for mobile no [protected] and we still continue to pay the bill amount 4. Airtel customer service called us and we have requested our address and other related information, they told that they will send Airtel executive 5. Airtel sales person came to our home, informed my father (Devadoss) that we are using 2G/3G sim hence it was switching between signal and if you use 3G data sim ([protected] ) it will be good and asked to pay 300, we also told him that if we get same problem he asked to call him for cancellation 6. Next day itself we called the person and asked to cancel and no response from him 7. My wife called 121 from mobile no [protected] to cancel the service of [protected] 8. Next month Airtel customer care called and informed that we have outstanding of 1000 to be paid 9. My father told that we are not using the data sim, she told that if we pay rs. 500 they will cancel it and my father did the same 10. After 3 months, we got call again to pay 3000 to close the connection We have asked to check the 3G usage in the sim [protected] from date of purchase. we don't 3g signal and not using the service in spite of that they are asking us to pay Rs. 2540.87

                                  To, The Manager Bharti Airtel Ltd. Subject: Complaint regarding the wrong bill. My self Pradeep Kumar. I have a airtel broadband connection since 5 to 6 years and my airtel broadband no. is[protected]. Despite of 6 months follow-up and 100's of calls they had done nothing that time. I have all the reference nos. which I have done with airtel regarding the wrong bill. From the month of July 2013 they added the 199/- rs. extra on my bill every month without any information or confirmation. I have been registered so many complaints regarding this issue till today but there is no disciplinary action has been taken regarding this issue. Every month they adjust the 199/- rs in my bill but they did not remove this amount from my bill permanently, they did not tell me the cause of this issue. I have requested them to disconnect my connection but they ignoring my request continuously. You are requested to look into this matter. I have been harassed lot by the airtel customer care. It was recently that I had recently migrated to Airtel Postpaid in the hope of having a stronger relation with airtel. The conversion from prepaid to post paid took more than 10 Days and to worsen things the sales executive (Mr. Karthik S. from airtel showroom in 41, Thambiah street extension, West mambalam, chennai 600033) has activated a corporate plan (NEW 249 PPS) instead of the individual plan with airtel My plan. I wish to change to individual plan My plan ID: MYOP[protected] and opt out of this wrongly activated corporate plan My plan ID: MYOP[protected] The Rs 399 Plan with 12 myPacks free myPacks added 12 out of 12 information 100 Minutes Local Mobile X 5 = 500 Minutes 65 Minutes STD Mobile X 3 = 195 Minutes 200 Local/National SMS X 1 = 200 Local/National 135 MB 3G Internet X 3 = 405 MB It is indeed very poor service from a telecom giant such as airtel.
