I have bought a 3G Dongle Airtel no. [protected] on nov. I have not been able to use this Dongle as it never connects to the internet, whenever it connects the connection is very brief speed is very very slow and then it disconnects. Some time a dialogue box appears which say that the connection can not be used until we register on approved network though we have registered on the airtel network long ago with the help of your technical team. We have registered this complaint probably more than 10 times. But this issue has not been resolved. I have not been able to use the dongle for the purpose it was purchased. I have been cheated and not provided the services which were promised.

    I have put a request to change my mobile [protected] from postpaid to prepaid, in the terms of that person will deliver new sim to my home ( 23 rd oct).It was well recorded in airtel customer care( Executive was laxmi). But some how anyone has not visited my home. after one month they charged me one month rental 550 Rs. Now Yeastrday Ms Sapna Maity, Senior Supervisor was telling lie, that we never told, executive will visit ur home, u must had to visit to store. Pls suspend Sapna maity immediately.       automatic change of channel

      my customer id is [protected] of airtel digital tv not working in a proper manners, it has been a problem with "automatic changes of channel" and with a continuous blinking of below line of channel no. & name and change it automatically from yesterday night dated 27.11.2013 i have tried so many times to complaint it at toll free no.       a porting of prepaid to postpaid, still not working after 15 hour of barding prepaid coonection. unable to contact airtel persons. unable to make very important calls of the day. troublefull, irresponsible and annoying response by airtel

        I had recharged my mobile data account on 17th Nov 2013 of Rs. 149, validity of which is 30 days and data limit 1 GB. But on 28th Nov itself the validity has ended. I spoke to customer care executive, they are simply telling that I have done recharge ONLY on 30 Oct. Where as I have done on 30th Oct as well as 17th Nov 2013. Transaction ID for the same isI had recharged my mobile data account on 17th Nov 2013 of Rs. 149, validity of which is 30 days and data limit 1 GB. But on 28th Nov itself the validity has ended. I spoke to customer care executive, they are simply telling that I have done recharge ONLY on 30 Oct. Where as I have done on 30th Oct as well as 17th Nov 2013. Transaction ID for the same is 840566

          My Airtel sim[[protected]] is inactive since 17 days, I thought there may be some network problem. I don't know why my sim card is terminated. today I went to Airtel Franchise office, Chakradarpur and they checked and told me that my sim is closed by the company and they even don't called to custemer care as I requested to do them so. I am shocked about their carelessness and still uncertain about Airtel service. kindly do the needful .Thanks Bikash

            To Airtel India, I am writing this after so much frustration and discomfort caused the Airtel customer care. Around four months back, I had made an enquiry for MyPlan postpaid and on the same day I got call from Airtel customer care (I find the service very good) and customer care explains the plan and I said I don’t want, not interested. But from the next day to today daily (sometimes twice or thrice if I am lucky) I am getting calls from Airtel customer care, sometime I politely says no (if I am in good mood), sometime I shouted on them and sometime I told them don’t call me. I tried all things to stop like: 1. DND activate 2. Complaint in TRAI against you (but you guys call me daily from some other number that my bad luck ) 3. Service Request in Airtel.in and other places No luck still today I got two calls from them. Now I got the problem, there is a lady in Airtel Hyderabad name “Deepa Saxena” head of Hyderabad and secunderabad, (don’t know the post) but there team members are says that she is pushing us to call all numbers daily even if they say no and she is pushing them hard to ge the new postpaid customers. I don’t know the validity of this story but this is harassment to your customers. Please stop your SCAM or I will keep continuing this complaint to different forums and palces.                 These people will tell you will get good speed but the speed is so bad that you that you cant open speedtest.net even. I made a mistake by taking this airtel 4g, instead i could have taken some other 3g networks like Photon, reliance and BSNL.These airtel people will tell the speed will be good at the time of taking but it wont be there and they will charge also so much. Whatever we pay we dont get the service like that.

                  I had a 3G doggle of airtel ( [protected]) .Since the connection speed was very poor in bellandhur area, i took another broadband connection. The bill was due for 2 months since the connection was not disconnected and the company itself terminted the connection since the bill was due. I made a payment of rs 3500, settled the bill and made a request to disconnect. again this month, I got a bill of 1500 and the customer care people was telling request to disconnect was made later and the 1500 is for the date upto the disconnection request was made.. The company itself voluatarily disconnected the connection as I mentioned above and they have generated a bill of 1500 for this disconnected period.. Airtel is exploiting customers by generating fake bills and this incident is a clear evidence of it . Please take appropriate action against this company.

                    Sir, I'm using a postpaid airtel number with" 200 combo 2G plan". On 2nd November 2013, when I was surfing net on my phone, I got a text from the company "Your quota has exhaust". When I called at customer care number and enquired about the message, he said may be my data use has exceeded. He asked me to check by sending Data use at 121. The reply I got was that I have used 335 mb and post 250 mb, I'm charged 1 paise/kb. Then, next day I again called at 121 and he said that the company had sent me texts on 30th-31st October and 1st November informing me about my data being overused. But I didn't receive any of the texts. He said that there must be a technical fault. He refused to lodge my complaint saying that my complaint will be accepted only when I have got my bill officially. So, he asked me to complain later. When I received my bill, I complained at 121. That person refused to accept my complaint saying that they are not commited to send me any text when my data service expires. He asked me to check my data usage by sending Data use to 121 from time to time. But Sir, I'm not at all satisfied with this service. On 22nd November's night, I was sleeping and the phone was switched off but still the messages show that I have used "9 mb" in just 5 hours i.e. from 12.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. Secondly, at one point I get a text that I have used so-and-so mb upto so-and-so date and time. Then, again after some hours if I send Data use to 121, I get a text that I have used more mb till that time and date only. How is that possible? Two different messages with different mbs but till the same date and time. One of the employee asked me to rely on these messages. And if it is so, then I guess I'm not liable to pay a single penny for the November month because whenever I send CU to 121, I always get a text "Current usage on your airtel mobile till 'date' is Rs. 0.0 (excludes monthly rentals). Moreover, most of the time I get a text saying that there is a technical error. They don't tell the proper usage anytime. And whenever I get a text without technical error, the usage is never updated. Sir, when the system is Kindly go through the problem. Because of such problems, my bill for the October month is Rs. 1177 and Rs. 837 is charged just because of over usage of mb. Screenshots of the messages are attached as proofs. I m complaining to u as may be due some terrorist activity some one used my email. Or spam. Kindly don't send me bill statement. For aforesaid no. A.c. no[protected] I'd[protected].                       This month again I got this strange mail from airtel for some post paid connection. Details given below.
                      After my complaint - I got two call from [protected] no of airtel service. The lady told as it was a mistake from airtel and it's been sorted out. This connection is of Andhra Pradesh postpaid. And I am from other state. They r interrogating me as . They can ask the person who is using and make correct their e address
                      Now I m sure of some phising mail so I complaining u of it n put- submitted ur email as phising

                        I had taken sim for prepaid to postpaid plan on 29th October . But its not activated still and does not show network . Mobile no. [protected]. Sim no. 89914 50003 02173 72919 H3 SYS1307 Airtel Claims it to be the top operator in India and they are not able to resolve this simple issue. I am really dissapointed and frustrated by its services. They have already taken 300 Rs from me and still nothing is resolved. I have called atleast 100 of times on customer care. But no response. I have visited their Airtel outlet also and after 30 days also i have not recieved sim activation. Many complaint No. have been given with claims to resolve this issue in 24-48 hours each time with no response. Please help Regards, Rohit Nayyar [protected]

                          call manager not working

                          I have subscribed to Airtel call manager and put two numbers in black list. I am still receiving calls from those numbers. I have complained at Airtel earlier too but did not get any response. please resolve immediately else I will have to go to consumer court for your misleading and not working facilities. I am very troubled with the blank caller calling me so many times...

                          Hi, This is with Reference number is 41034940 Airtel Broadband connection. I have been requesting Airtel to disconnect my connection from past 1 and half month which has never happened instead they are generating bill for it. .Now they are giving a new reference number [protected] asking me to pay for the bill which will be generated next month. I also checked if there is any incoming traffic but nothing I have made so many requests to disconnect my connection but every time they call back me asking to retain the connection . I dont need it and their service engineer who came to my home was so rude when i asked few technical things. It hurts.and i was a customer for them for the last 8 years I have paid all bills. requested to disconnect both landline and broadband almost daily .I have removed their connection from my system for the last 1 month and i wonder how bills keep on generating. ONLY thing i want is mail from them that they have disconnected my landline and broadband .NOTHING OTHER THAN THAT . My account number is 12177900. . M.R.MANICKAVEL 24/11/2013

                            My customer id : [protected] I bought a new Airtel DTH connection (registered through online). I am not able to call [protected] to activate DTH from my end. This is the problem with my registered mobile network service. (MTS : [protected]); They don't have tie up with this toll free number. ? Even if try contacting Airtel from other network mobile no; Customer care is forcing me to call from my registered mobile to that toll free number. I dont know the objective here; why Airtel is forcing to use that toll free number So could you please tell me some other way to activate DTH Service ? Or could you take this mail as a request and activate my DTH service? Please do the needful as soon as possible.

                              my connection no is 45641913. from 30th october my iptv is not working. we have called customer care a;lot many times regarding the same issue but till now no one has given a permanent solution. actually we wanted to change our plan and your people told it'll tale a week for this process but after one week also it wasnt working. then they told that this plan is not available. there no coordination between your people, one says plan is available and the other says it is not and in that we are suffering.even i had a talk with floor manager Ms. Shalini she also dint took our complain seriously and did not take a solution. till now i had a talk with atleast 10 people of customer care people not a single person was able forward our complain and then they blame us that we are not clear. a technician too came to resolve our problem and he was also not able to do anything. he told to contact him directle if in future any problem persists but he was unavailable.one day iptv is working and 2 days its been locked since 30th october we are facing this.yesterday we received a call that iptv is working now but again the channels have been locked. i just request you people to give a permament solution for this problem.

                                I had the worst experience of my life today. Unfortunately, I am using airtel 3G data plan for the past 4 months and I regret it very much. I wanted to close my data plan 2 months back but the franchisee said it is a compulsion to keep the plan for 4 months. I asked to convert it to 250 pm plan. The first bill after this change has come to Rs. 1123. It is too much more that my expectation of around 250 according to the plan. 2nd bill (currently in process) is also getting nearabout this figure. I decided to close the plan now that 4 months condition is completed. I spent the whole day visiting franchisees and also airtel HQ in patel nagar for correction of the bill. Nothing happened. Then the franchise told me to pay Rs. 2078 due till date (which is excessive bill according to me) and bring application and ID proof also. I went back with the documents. I was then told to bring a photograph also. I have to go back home again for that. When I went back will all the documents, the franchisee didn't have the server working. I was to told to come back again on monday. I was expecting some explanation or correction for the bill, what I was told was that airtel is a very big company and what is made is made and has to be paid. After 2-3 visits to different franchisees and the HQ in Patel nagar, I still don't have the account closed (now that I have stopped asking for correction). Now, what I want is to just want to close my 3G data account with airtel and even this has made me do many rounds of airtel offices and still nothing has happened because at the last moment, their server went on on holiday till monday. I am surprised at the efficiency of airtel and it's staff! I hope to go to some franchisee again on monday, if their server has got back by then and close my account and pay my last respects to airtel. gurinder

                                  they again proved that they are worst network. i have requested a call regarding change of my postpaid plan to my plan via internet. many customer care exec called me asking for new connection but i told them clearly that i need change of plan for existing connection. 3 persons called me saying that they will fwd the call to higher exec but till date no body called me and those people are really giving me fake msgs that they tried to call me but i havent even got a single call. useless network...

                                  irresponsible higher officers...


                                  totally the first ever worst plan for postpaid is from airtel... i regret for being airtel customer

                                    I recharged my Airtel phone number on 10th september for Rs. 250/- and used that to recharge 3G (1gb) by SMS. It worked fine for a couple of days, then stopped working. I went to a nearby Airtel outlet (Green Park, New Delhi) and asked them to resolve the issue. They told me that Airtel had deactivated my number on 15th September due to disuse and they couldn't do anything about it. I asked them how the number was in disuse considering it was recharged for 250/- and working prior to deactivation, they had no answer. I asked them why they had happily recharged it a few days earlier if the number was to be deactivated, and they had no answer. They said that they had no recharge records of deactivated numbers. I asked them for a refund, and they said that they could not process refunds, and connected me to Airtel Customer Care (121). The customer care 'executive' told me that he had no records of deactivated numbers, and that I should go to the nearest Airtel outlet (!!) for resolution. I renewed the number (paying Rs 25/- for the SIM), it had zero balance. Though the amount is not a big deal, I decided to post this experience here. I have no hopes of a refund, but perhaps enough complaints could bring about improvement in Airtel's service. From personal experience, I've found that Airtel 3G has better network coverage than most others, but a terribly buggy/rigged backend (recharges dropped/speeds locked to low levels/connection failure/random deactivation) and very slimy customer care staff.
                                    Correction: The recharge/deactivation month was october, not september.
