We had asked for our Fixed Line No:41734324 to be discontinued from Broadband, and for it to be used
as an ordinary fixed line number without broadband. Further, we had chosen the Plan with a Monthly
Charge of Rs.2350. However, we have received a bill with a Monthly Charge of Rs.817.07. Plus we

I called your customer care numbers lots of times. I sent emails, I went to the customer care center twice. But no one has taken the deactivation request.

I ported from vodafone to Airtel last week. First airtel people messed with my request and my number was deactivated for 1 week. I am having a hard time getting the Airtel 4G activated. Even after calling the Airtel customer service several times no one came to give me demo.

This post is to create awareness on how Airtel like companies tactically and unethically charge their customers. I am one of the victims of Airtel and would like to help others from falling victim to their trap.

Airtel will activate data (internet) plans by default. They call 10 paisa / 10 kb is a default data service (they do want to call it as "data plan" but "default data service"!)....
