I requested disconnection and termination of my Airtel Postpaid connection, [protected], on March 10th, 2013 (nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com; [protected]@in.airtel.com; appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com). I still have not received the refund of my security deposit despite several requests. All I get are excuses and the same template emails from who does not know what to do or is unwilling to sort the problem out.

I have tried to resolve the issue with Airtel first. But after 7 times talking to customer care executives, 5 interactions on Twitter, 4 interaction on Facebook, 3 online complaints on their site and 7 emails I have not received any concrete solution. So I have decided to report the error (or should I say fraud by Airtel?) Here. I had to spent lots of time and energy behind it for last 8 days.

Intelligent and Shady Scammers - Beware!

Hi everyone
I hate to do this, but I am writing this to warn you if you are trying / wishing to become a Airtel Broadband customer now, or in near future. This guys are plain old scammers and they can do anything to take out money from you (even threaten you). It all started as following.

One of their representatives came to my office and convinced me to take a 5 gb high-speed connection @ 2mbps at a very high price...

Billing Problem

We had asked for our Fixed Line No:41734324 to be discontinued from Broadband, and for it to be used
