    I Ajeet kumar ,Mobile No.[protected],received one sms from airtel customer care,to get 17% extra talktime on recharge of Rs111 on 21 aug 13.I recharge with same but didn't get a single rupees balance.I try to talk customer care but they have no option talk to executive .Please give me balance or return my money.

      I have registered a complaint with Airtel with reference number 36831168. Speed was reduced from 2mbps to 256kbps in just 2 days from the start of billing cycle. This i observed for 2nd consecutive month. My broadband plan has 30GB data download @ 2mbps speed. Actually i have not downloaded 30GB data in just 2 days from billing cycle start (5-Aug-2013). Airtel customer care is not accepting the miscalculations in their side and i feel there is no use of following up with them anymore. Anyone please suggest if you have faced such issues, if it was resolved and how ?

        I got a phone call saying i m calling from airtel mumbai head office, you won a lottery of rupee 15 lakhs. To receive the amount deposite 14thousand to state bank/axis bank.This was from Raj verma & the number was [protected],[protected], [protected].These kind of people cheat the socitey. Be careful & do something so they learn a lesson.
        Sir today (22/7/14) at 9:24 am i had a call from [protected]. The who was on the other side said i have won the artel lottery of 25 lakh he asked me to give my bank account no. But i haven't done such.. i think he is a fraud because its been over two years i ported my sim to idea.he also gave me a no. 89919 To identify the winner but i observed that it was written on every airtel sim card. Please stop these fake calls.
        Pls stop these fraud calls .

          May month I bought airtel dth, before buying I contact customer care for buying DTH, they send a mail with link for payment. Using the link I paid Rs2390 (for HD connection) on May 10th using my credit card. But the amount was unsuccessful and got some error on screen .but amount got debited from my account .I contact my banker and they said amount was claimed from shell on 11th May, So you can contact the merchant . On 11th May again I paid Rs 1840 and got new SD connection and my customer id : [protected]. I have registered a request (re no : DT[protected] from airtel website and they asked bank statement I sent it .after that no call and money also not refund so I registered a complaint on consumer court website and I got a call immediately and they asked to send a bank statement again and again I sent it around 4 times and they created a new complaint no[protected] and after that no response .till now amount was not refund and I explaining the problem (all most 5 to 6 persons) to airtel customer care. I have raised a compliant in consumer court website also .Still they are telling the same story like "Kindly allow us some time to have this looked into. Our team will contact you at the earliest. " Almost 4 month got over still the airtel team is working on this issue . contact :[protected]

          Still issue is not resolved .almost 5 month got over .

          We should directly file a complaint against airtel in court then only u peoples will aware of customer value .

            Recently I got Airtel BB connection, and paid Rs 5000 advance bill. Since I found a better plan option that the company provides I have been told that “please be informed that the advance rental plan charges are non refundable, hence the differential amount could not be reversed, if you opt to change the plan”. Is a clause that is against the natural law of justice. Only recently an apex consumer court reportedly fined a private university for not refunding the advance admission fee to a student who sought admission in another public sector institution. The court though allowed only a partial 10% retention of the fee as institution’s handling charges, but made it clear that even if the student had actually studied for a couple of months, a refund, after due deduction for that period, had to be made. All this despite the student had signed on the fraudulent clause in agreement. Since going to our lengthy courts, especially for senior citizens like me for whom private companies seems to have no regard, is not an easy task, I would request you to publish this information in larger interest of consumers. balvinder; (former principal govt college chandigarh) 362 sector 48 a chandigarh 160047

              Dear Sir/mam, I am a Airtel user of past 7 years its services best than other networks but last 1 month i am facing lots of difficulty i Cant able to connect to customer care no 121 or 198 . My IVR is blocked i complaint many times there is no proper response. Airtel agents arr not having helping tendency to customers I need my IVR get released very soon otherwise. Also, I am not receiving messages from Banks and all. I want to complaint that but could not able to connect to airtel. I am very irritated and frustrated. I want to change my HDFC bank password that required my phone for one time password (OTP), but cant do that cause I am not receiving any messages. They blocked me cause I keep calling to resolve my issue. Those dumb customer care executives didn't know how to solve the problem but know better to block me.                 Hi this is Sumit, I am using Airtel connection for a long time now. I made a biggest mistake by activating voicemail service once. I realised later that I don't need the said service so I got it discontinued by using *321*673# On calling the above number and following the relevant instructions I got the message that the service has been stopped. Now the problem started whenever I disconnect any call the caller gets the following pre recorded message "You are not subscribed to the voice mail services to activate dial *321*671#" The above message is played for approximately 8 seconds and the call becomes chargeable for the caller despite the fact that I have disconnected the call. Further problem, I travelled to Germany in September 2012 and disconnected few calls and the Airtel charged me around 3000 rupees for voice mail services which I never used and have infact disconnected the same. After numerous interactions with the customer care (who by the way knows nothing at all) I had to pay the charges. I paid those charges on one condition that going foreword I should not face similar situation. I went to Germany again in May 2013 And these guys again levied similar charges. This time I was determined to get it right and after few complaints to customer care, when no outcome was provided I made a complaint to the appellate of Airtel. Those guys reversed the said charges. But Airtel instead of admitting to there inefficiencies mentioned adjustment as disputed. But till date the people who are calling me are paying call charges for the calls I disconnect without being subscribed to voice mail service. I have to be extra careful on roaming because I have Lost trust in Airtel and there billing system. I have made the complaint today as well and I am getting all the vague suggestions from customer care such as change your sim, some in customer care have suggested that I should change the phone. And so called customer WHOcares center of Airtel have sent me a message that's credit limit has been revised from 10000 inr to 2000 inr. I believe Airtel moto is if you can't solve customer problem then they should create such a situation for a customer that he is forced to leave the network. Now I am waiting for current month bill cycle to be over so that I can port my number to some other network.                   My name is Angshuman Biswas and my mother name is Rama Biswas. We both placed a complain against a Airtel agent. At 15th August, 2013 a Airtel agent (Name-Prasanto, Mobile Number-[protected]) was collected my mother's (Rama Biswas) Documents (one copy of Votar ID card Xerox, one copy of PAN card Xerox and one Passport size photo) from my home 18/12 West Rabindranagar, P.O. Rabindranagar, Kolkata-700065 at 1.30 pm. But next day (16th August, 2013) he called to my son (Angshuman Biswas) and told me that he wetend all the documents given by me. Then I (Angshuman Biswas) ask him please given my mother's (Rama Biswas) all the wetend documents. Till now he was not given my mother's (Rama Biswas) all the documents. Then I (Angshuman Biswas) called to the Prasanto's higher authority (Mobile Number-[protected]) and I told him all the matter. But he behaves same as Prasanto. Then he sent his agent at Sunday (18/08/2013) at 4.30 pm to collect my (Angshuman Biswas) documents. I provide him my (Angshuman Biswas) documents (one copy of Votar ID card Xerox, one Passport size photo). Then agent head (Mobile Number-[protected]) told me that my connection was under process. Till now this connection was not activated. Now we (Rama Biswas and Angshuman Biswas) both think that both of them are fraud. So please accept our (Rama Biswas and Angshuman Biswas) complain against them (Prasanto-[protected], and Agent Head-[protected]) show that they (Prasanto-[protected], and Agent Head-[protected]) will not miss use our (Rama Biswas and Angshuman Biswas) documents in future. And took necessary action against them (Prasanto-[protected], and Agent Head-[protected]) that they will not cheat any another person in future. Airtel is a very fraud service provider. They have many fraud agencies.

                  This is in reference to my connection with Airtel, whose number is [protected]. I submitted my Passport as the ID proof and address proof. After a month they suspended my services saying that my passport is a fraud document and asked me to resubmit the same. When I went to the airtel center and showed my original passport and tried to submit the photocopy again, they still say that your passport is a fraud document. I do not understand following points:
                  1. If at all it is afraud document how can I travel to 5-6 different countries regularly in last 9 years.
                  2. How can airtel refuse to take a document issued by government of india, on what grounds they can refuse.

                  I request you to please see into this complaint.

                    Hello I was a airtel broadband user having landline number [protected]. I have regularly paid the bill amount but in the month of february my bill status was not updated and i had to pay 1500 extra. Again i have paid Rs 2400 on 5/8/2013 and my bill status is still not updated.I have talked customer care and mail on the helpline website but all my efforts go in vain. I have a receipt of the last bill paid and the airtel is not taking any action. please provide me solution. thanks.

                      This is regarding my landline number mentioned in the subject email. I am holding this airtel landline connection for the last 2 years. 1. As I was moving to a new place called up airtel customer service on 8th Dec 2012 for feasilibity check at new address. 2. Feasibility failed, requested for cancellation on 23 Dec12 with Rep Vijaya (confirmed by Ravindra). 3. My account was expected to be cancelled on 30th Dec 12. 4. Called up on 16 January 2013 to check the status, (Ticket #[protected], Spoke to Ravindra, he said account is still active and it was not cancelled. After a discussion he put it for cancellation and ensured my bill will be generated only till 30th of Dec. 5. I received a bill till 16th of Jan, which is incorrect. 6. Called up on 19th Feb at 12:15 PM and spoke to Rep Ashok and his Mgr Anil Kumar. (Ticket #[protected] he gave a resolution time of 22 Feb: 9:57 AM. 7. Nothing came back to me 8. Issue was explained and I was told it will be taken to the settlement group. 9. Got a call from Airtel. He acknowledged about the discrepancy in the bill and said within 48 hours it will be resolved.He called from [protected]. When asked for conversation # he gave 36990214. 10. Today got a call from Delhi saying they are filing a case against me for non payment of bill. Until and unless the bill gets settled I will not be able to pay. I was aware of worst AIRTEL cusomte service, but got a firsthand experience of it. I am really sick of AIRTEL now. Planning to have my rest of connections migrated to other providers.

                        Hi, This is neeraj sharma. I am a Airtel postpaid customer. I contacted Airtel customer care on 20th Aug, 2013 regarding revised tarriff plan. I spoke to 3 care representative and all of them disconnected my call. The first person i spoke to was Chandani, the 2nd person was Khushbo and the last person was sandeep. I just wanted to know that being such a renouned company this is how you treat ur customers. I am very disappointed with such behaviour. I am getting rid of this post paid connection very soon. Where there is no VALUE for ur CUSTOMERS, there wont be any customers. AIRTEL customer Service SUCKS. Call me i[censored] have any value for ur customer on [protected].

                          We are using Airtel DTH for 3-4 years and keep updating the instrument with time. This time we made a request for replacement on 6-Aug-2013 and paid 750/- instantly and 125/- for installation too. Now we are following with them multiple times everyday to get the device. They haven't given a single positive reply. It looks like Bharati Airtel is cheating and cashing on its good reputation. Though they have earned everything but respect. They can't honor their own loyal consumers and interact just to collect money. They leave consumer helpless and become so unreasonable at times when asked for the delivery of services they have charged.                             Hi, myself mohammed ameenulla, not a hectic one but the attentiveness is important from executives who attend calls.. I tried calling to customer support executive today(19-august-2013) for the deactivation of internet package. But the executives ignored my calls thrice after knowing my request of deactivation. After third attempt i was not able to call back them. Further, there was no response from them. Hence, i request your committee, to select the attentive candidates as executives, or the present ones may spoil your brand image, whatever airtel created till today..                             I Jitender Kumar Kukreja, consumer of Airtel IP TV connection and the Number of my land line phone is[protected] and i am totally disagree with the billing system of the Airtel company due to they have charged DSL Charges every month and i don'nt have any service of their Anti virus. In every month we have called to the customer care they assured us that charges will not include next time in your bill but is repeatedly every time.
                            You are requested to go through the matter personally, so that the same will not happen next time.

                              I have applied for postpaid to prepaid conversion for my mobile number on 31st July,2013. Till it's pending. I visited two times to saltlake citycenter airtel store in kolkata. But no action was taken. Then I complained so many times to airtel customer care by email. But still it's pending. I haven't expected this type of harassment from airtel. Because I am using another airtel no for a long time and also I am using airtel DTH. But now I have decided that I'll go for MNP to vodafone. I have submitted the required documents also.

                                  I am an Airtel Postpaid Customer(275 plan).For the months of July and August ,i took mobile internet plans of Rs.125 and Rs.150 respectively.However,i have been charged Rs.7254.91 as the bill dated[protected].On speaking with customer care executives,i have been informed that the plan of Rs.150 which i took on August 1 wasn't accounted for my data usage.


                                  When i took the Rs.150 plan,i was not intimated about the non-accounting of data usage (of the plan Rs.150-500 MB 2g & 500 MB-3g plan) in the running billing cycle.The lack of clarity provided in your data plan have caused charging unfair bill on me.

                                  I feel cheated by the billing which was based on lack of clarity provided to me.Airtel is infact tricking its customer and exploiting money.
                                  Can you guys please help out.

                                  I was in the Plan CUG 298 which offered me 400 MB free data per month.
                                  Last month I received a bill of amount 2271.09/- Dated 21-Sep-2013 . After calling the customer care for several times regarding the clarification of the Bill regarding the Data, as there was no response, I told that I will not pay the bill till Airtel gives me the explanation.

                                  What happened actually was one day I sent a mail with 15 mb attachments. But as Airtel has capped the size at 10 MB I could not send the mail and more over Data has been consumed over the entire night and nearly 700 MB was consumed for one mail. Now they are saying that they could not waiver the Amount. Why should I pay 1800/- for one mail and that is because of Airtel's Mistake. I tried to explain the situation every time I call and they just don't care.

                                  As I moved to another location I disconnected the Number. So I also gave a alternate number but they did not even call on that and sent a mail saying as they could not reach me (Obviously because Airtel disconnected the number) they will proceed legally.
                                  Even after all this I called the Customer care giving my alternate number again but again to listen to all sorrys but no help.

                                  Please help me resolve this issue. Also they already have Rs.500/- as my Advance I gave before getting the connection. I am willing to pay 200 or 300 additional to the 500 advance I paid if needed.

                                    Hi sir,

                                    I have been using my airtel number [protected] (pre-paid) for the past 2.2 years. Recently I used their 3G recharge of Rs.103 which gives 300Mb data balance for 30 days. Since then i have been experiencing loss in main data balance frequently, as it would give me a msg " you have been charged Rs.X.XX from your a/c". The loss value depends upon my browsing session. Since then i had to do top-up recharges often, as my main a/c bal is getting deducted.
                                    Today morning it happened that my phone bal of Rs.23.87, has been reduced to Rs.0.02 for a data usage of 48489.69 KB, when i had a 3G balance of ~68000 KB. When i checked my 3G balance i still had 17 MB left in my 3G a/c. I did not even have balance to make a call to the customer care. I had done another recharge of 100 and called up the customer care. They restored my main a/c balance with Rs.23.85. They claimed me that they can restore only my last transaction balance.
                                    But the issue does not solve here, i have been losing my main a/c balance since i did the 3G recharge. Airtel has been cheating their loyal customer like this. I had done ~ Rs.600recharge for 2 months, since i started using 3G, where as my normal usage will be less than avg. Rs.150 per month.
                                    Also the network is so pathetic that, call drops occur 10-15 times when we try make a call. As per the call tariff i have one sec pulse(1 paise/sec), but call charges are like i lose more, say if i make a local call of 10 sec, i lose balance of more than 10 pasie.
                                    I kindly request the consumer forum to take strict action agaisnt these kind of fraud done to the public.

                                    I am also facing the same problem. Time to time they do. Once I noted that they charged Rs. 145 even when balance was there in main account. They returned only Rs 45. They have easy way to make fortune this way. They can deduct any time in any way possible.

                                    AIRTEL IS A REAL CHEATER. I HAVE 3G BALANCE OF 55 MB BUT THIS CHEATING NETWORK CHARGED ME RS. 154 FROM MAIN BALANCE AND MY MAIN BALANCE BECOMES ZERO...

                                    SO I CALLED 198 TO REPORT BUT THE USELESS CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE TOLD ME THAT I USED LARGE DATA DOWNLOAD. I ASKED THAT STUPID AGAIN WHY AMOUNT WAS CHARGED EVEN I HAVE 55 MB 3G BALANCE.
                                    HE IS DUMB AND TOLD ME THAT HE WILL TRANSFER CALL TO HIS SENIOR OFFICER. HE PUT THE CALL ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AND FINALLY HE DISCONNECTED THE CALL ALSO WITHOUT TELLING ANY DETAILS

                                    I am an Airtel customer, with no. [protected].
                                    I am facing the same issue since many days. I have 3G balance of over Rs. 600, but still my Main Balance is getting drained with Internet. Sometimes the balance is being deducted from 3G pack, but mostly from the Main Balance.
                                    Although my phone is in Roaming, I have activated the Roaming Pack and this should not be a problem at all.
                                    Please check your systems and provide me with Refund.

                                      i got a message "thanks for downloading value pack from Airtel. you have been chargerd Rs 99 " i dint activated any value packs..how can it b activated without customers permision just ny clicking the weblink? im using Airtel ([protected]).please deactivate the vale pack n refund my money.

                                        someone is calling me continuously from 2 days. i dont know even their language , they are using short of abusive words.
