Hi,

I had booked the 3A ticket for 3 people from Manmad Junction to Bangalore City.

I had booked through online 3 months back and 2 got confirmed and one was in waiting list. After 3 months also it was waiting list 1 and not got confirmed. i came to know on the travelling date. When i got inside the train the TT told me Since it is E-Ticket he cant do anything and money will get reimbursed and he told to me to confirm in sleeper, they put fine and you will get seat. But the Sleeper TT told he cant do that. atlast my condition was na ghar ka na ghat ka.

I didnt got seat in AC nor in Sleeper.

It is happening from last so many times.

Kindly let me know what is the procedure for refund. even i had filed TDR also.

and also i need to know when the people wont get any proper feedback why the hell they keep online tickets.

      I am your IPTV customer and facing Internet and phone Related issue almost 10 days.. Initially I am facing Waiting Signal and heavy Packet Drop issue in my connection reg. this multiple calls has been logged and surprise all calls has been closed same day, More than 15 -20 time your cabling /DSL /and Senior engineer has been visit look like my home is second Airtel R&D center and after almost 10 days they have connect my internet cable directly from your DB and remove my telephone connection now my internet is working but telephone connection still not connected more than 8 days..

      I have made unlimited call to your so call Enterprise support (Mr. Vikas) sometime not picking some time they pick and patch the call with engineer nothing els .second senior engineer Mr. Deepak Maximum time he busy, best Airtel Voice we are working, People who are visiting my place, given me solution Keep remove the telephone connection “AIRTEL SOLUTION”

      I resident of jyoti kiran society sector-pi,house no.64.i have alredy complained on 25th january 2011 { complain no. is 42330844, date- 25thy january'2011}.
      but tv is not working till now and today is 31st of january'2011.if you are not able to attend this complain then i am going to disconnect your airtel broadband facility as your service is very very poor i am not interested to continue your service.return my all amout with interest. and if the procedure will be same then i will not avail the airtel facility in future.

      Airtel / Airtel IPTV — complaint against Airtel IPTV

      I'm a resident of Bangalore & my Airtel account no. is 15802366.

      12th July: I had enrolled for an Airtel IPTV connection (Bill/CEF No. TBLR: 263287). I had even paid the installation amount of Rs.999 by cheque. I was informed that I will get the IPTV connection in a week. I waited for almost one and half months and nothing happened.

      Aug 25: I registered a complaint (reference no. 2943608) with Airtel, there was no response!

      Sept 2 to Sept 10: The complaint was followed by 3 mails to Airtel's Nodal Officers (nodal.[protected]@airtel.in). Again, other than the nodal officers apologizing and ensuring me that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department, nothing happened!!

      Sept 16: Unsatisfied with the response from Nodal Officer, I mailed the Airtel's Appellate Officer (nodal.[protected]@airtel.in.) giving all the details and the delay caused.

      Sept 20: Another complaint was registered by Appellate Officer (reference no. 4378098) and I was told that it will be processed by 21st Sep 11.

      While I got a call that it will be installed on the very same day, nobody came for installation.

      Sept 21: Frustrated, I again mailed the Appellate Officer that I wouldn't prefer to get an IPTV connection after all these fuss and requested for refund of my money.

      Sep 24: Appellate Officer replied stating that the delay is caused due to technical issue. On the same day I replied back again insisting on a refund of my money.

      Sep 28: Appellate Officer registered a complaint (reference no. 4829284) and mentioned that it will be processed by 29th Sep 11.

      Oct 27: I got a call from Airtel again regarding my very first complaint registered on Aug 25!!!

      Every small thing takes months & months of time. Neither they are interested in providing an IPTV connection and even least bothered to refund my money even after one month of registering the complaint for refund!!!

        Airtel Fixed Line Connection No.41734324

        We had asked for our Fixed Line No:41734324 to be discontinued from Broadband, and for it to be used
        as an ordinary fixed line number without broadband. Further, we had chosen the Plan with a Monthly
        Charge of Rs.2350. However, we have received a bill with a Monthly Charge of Rs.817.07. Plus we
        have been charged a Late Fee of Rs.100, when the last bill was paid in time on 25th May wheras the
        due date was 28th May..

        Inspite of repeated requests no correction has been made, and no corrected revised bill received.

        Bharti Airtel — Bharti - Airtel Billing Problem

        I have the broadband services from Airtel and using it for almost 4yrs. My monthly bill will not exceed more than INR1300~1500. For the last 2 months,i'm getting high bill amount.

        In fact, i was on a business trip outside India for 15days. There was no-one at my home to use Internet. The broadband modem was completely switched off during this time and still Airtel charged me around INR3500(for the 15ddays).

        I have been following it up with many times(thru email and Customer Care contact no) and not getting proper response. They are insisting me to pay the outstanding without even listening to me.

        I have asked for a CDR type report to check the usage and they are not sending it to me. As a consumer/customer, we all have enough rights to ask them.We are in the Communication/Internet era.

        I'm completely fedup now and just removed all the connections at my home.

        Be careful. In India, most of the services industry are trying to cheat end customersas if the end-customers may not question/raise voice.

          Hi,

          I have been using the Airtel Broadband connection (#[protected] since January 2011. My

          plan was 1200 /- (8 Mbps) and my billing cycle was 11th to 10th of next month.
          On 12-May-2013, I shifted from Koramangala to Bannerghatta road and contacted the apartment

          agent (Shibu) for transferring my existing connection. He suggested, Sir, do NOT transfer

          your connection, because it may take a week time, instead please take a new connection and

          cancel the existing one [may be for his own benefit, his target for that month would be

          achieved]. So I paid 500/- for new connection (out of which 250/- is refundable according

          to Shibu) and got my new connection[protected] activated on 14-May. Also I had

          contacted the Customer Care and raised request for cancellation and got the request id. Few

          days later, and as expected, got a call from retention department and I patiently explained

          them the scenario and they said ok, it will be taken care of. (By the way, for bill cycle

          11-Apr-2013 to 11-May-2013, I received the bill for my old number, which I paid immediately

          to speed up the process)

          And the story begins now !
          In June I got a bill of 1348/- (period: 11-May-2013 to 11-Jun-2013) for my old number and

          another bill of 1223/- (period: 14-May-2013 to 11-Jun-2013) for my new number. I paid the

          bill of 1223/- as this is the new connection that I am using now. Contacted the customer

          care (agent)...
          Me: I raised a cancellation request last month for my old connection and have not used it

          since 11-May-2013, as I got a new connection to work with. How come its not yet processed

          and still I am getting bill?
          Agent: Do you have the cancellation request?
          Me: Yes, here it is <request_no>
          and Voila...
          Agent: This is NOT a valid request id. It starts with 4 and our current running number

          starts with 3.
          I was like WHAT !!!!
          Me: Can you change the first number and check.
          He did that (with several permutations and combinations, but no result)
          Agent: Sir, you have to raise another request.
          And a NEW request was raised.

          July-2013,
          I got another bill of 2015/- for my old connection and 1405/- for my new connection. Being

          the active connection I paid 1405/-, again contacted the Customer Care, explained them the

          overall story, this time I was quite pissed off. Agent replied, ok sir, we shall take care

          of this.
          Now, last week I got a call from so called Collection Dept about the payment of 2015. I

          told them I can not pay for two bills. The (new) one I am supposed to pay is already up to

          date and for other (old) one, the request was raised 2 and half months back and this is not

          my fault. They said OK and they will speak to Backend team to rectify the issue.
          Yesterday I got the LAST REMINDER email from Airtel, which says about court/forum and legal

          proceedings, blah blah blah, if you do not pay your current outstanding !!!

          Perplexed....Shocked !!

          I heard lot of complaints on this (almost all the forums have similar complaints

          registered), that as long as you are using their service, they are OK (only thing is Airtel

          will keep on increasing your tariff at the eleventh hour). But the moment you cancel your

          connection, Airtel will try to extort as much as money as they can. Its like (loot lo, last

          minute mein). People, out of fear pay the amount to get rid of this and Airtel takes the

          undue advantage of looting their customers by sending threatning emails. I have forwarded

          my complain to my current and previous company HR and other friends in my Network so as to

          not to entertain Airtel any more. And today I have raised another cancellation request for

          my 3 months old new connection[protected].

          Now, I tell you what will happen? A spam mail like below will be sent by Airtel:

          Airtel brad band Service — Extortion of money be changing plans

          They changed 256 KBPS ar Rs.549/ PM to Rs.799/PM without any information to me. Very unethical business stye.

          Airtel — AIRTEL NEW CONNECTION FRAUD / SCAM

          I Purchased a new Airtel Mobile Post paid Connection : [protected] on 18th Aug 2009.

          I beleive that there is Fraudulent activity against me from Airtel / Airtel reseller

          Some one from Airtel, The Person name was Ashok and I believe he was from Karshni Solution as it is written on receipt took my self attested documents and Rs500 against a new mobile connection: [protected]. In return they provided me receipts with fake number on it which either does not exist or no one answer these phone.

          The no. [protected] belongs to some one named Subhash as per the information provided by 121 Airtel customer care.

          I beleive that my documents are miss used, as no one returned my documents or Rs 500 and same phone number is active but with some one else.

          No apology for this misconduct by Airtel or their representatives. also they blocked my other no. i was calling them from.

          what are my options here, should i inform police, as i dont want some one on my door after couple of months creating scene as my documents are in wrong hands

          Airtel — Not received my money even after cancellation

          Sir,

          I purchased a DTH from City Centre Kolkata from Airtel showroom. Later on I decided to cancel the same.
          The person from whom I purchased the DTH is not available on phone, so I connected to Airtel customer service at[protected]. This service is extremely poor and I really struggled to talk to a representative.
          They deliberately discoonnect the phone after saying hello and I lost almost Rs 100 in calling Airtel customer care.

          After a lot of effort, I could able to talk to a representative, who promised me that the money Rs 1690 /- will be sent to me in my address as a DD in next 24 hours, but it never happened so far.

            Hello Sir/Madam,

            I have an 3G data card and I am moving to other location so I wanted to disconnect/deactivate it. I have been trying to deactivated it from past 3 days.

            I called your customer care numbers lots of times. I sent emails, I went to the customer care center twice. But no one has taken the deactivation request.

            I have paid my last month's bill and outstanding amount till 12th Aug. But still no one has disconnected my connection. Every time your customer care executives are saying we don't have access and disconnecting the call.

            I had sent an email yesterday and it says we will response in 24 hrs but no one has responded yet.

            I am not sure whom to contact now as I have tried through all the channels. Deactivation is getting delayed without any of my faults and then extra money will be charged to me.

            Could you please please please help me with this. I am really tired of calling airtel customer care number.

            I purchased airtel connection from mobile store at dilshad garden metro station. on 21 .6 .2010 phnone no.             Hello Airtel,

            I am facing issue just like Harsha above.

            I want to deactivate my 3G data card . I have been trying to deactivated it from past 3 days.

            I called your customer care numbers lots of times. I sent an email too, Its really frustating to call airtel customer care and every time i call they are telling we are not the right team contact some other team and they will give some other sumber which really dont exist.

            I have paid my last month's bill . But still no one has disconnected my connection. I am not sure whom to contact now as I have tried through all the channels. Deactivation is getting delayed without any of my faults and then extra money will be charged to me.

            Could you please help me with this.

              I WENT TO HYD FOR VACATION IN THE MONTH OF MAY AND THERE I WENT TO LB STADIUM AIRTEL OFFICE TO PAY MY BILL ON 27TH MAY 2013 WHICH WAS RS 485.

              THE AIRTEL CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE TOLD ME TO DEACTIVATE THE PHONE AS I WAS NOT GOING TO USE GOA PHONE IN ANDHRA FOR 2 MONTHS.

              I AGREED AND ASKED HIM TO DEACTIVATE. HE DID SOMETHING ON COMPUTER AND TOLD ME THAT MY SIM IS DEACTIVATED. I REMOVED THE SIM FROM MY MOBILE AND DID NOT USE IT UNTIL AUGUST 2013 WHEN I RETURNED TO GOA.

              TO MY UTTER SHOCK I WAS BILLED FOR RS 1342 FOR THE MONTHS OF JUNE AND JULY.

              ADDING SALT TO INJURY I WAS BILLED RS 250 ODD AGAINST MY PLAN OF RS 149 FOR THE MONTHS MY PHONE IS DEACTIVATED.

              NOW AIRTEL IS SAYING THAT I HAVE NOT DEACTIVATED MY PHONE. SO CLEARLY THERE IS NEGLIGENCE AT THE LB STATDIUM HYDERABAD AIRTEL OFFICE EXECUTIVES. I HAVE BEEN IGNORANT OF ALL THIS. AND AIRTEL DID NOT EVEN CARE TO SEND A MESSAGE TO MY ALTERNATE CONTACT NO. BECAUSE MY SIM WAS TOTALLY INACTIVE.

              EVEN AFTER REPEATED CALLS TO AIRTEL CUSTOMER EXECUTIVES I AM BEING CHARGED HEAVILY FOR THESE PHONE CALLS BUT JUSTICE IS NOT BEING DONE.

              I AM READY TO PAY RS 485 BECAUSE I KNOW I HAVE USED THE PHONE THAT TIME,

              BUT WHEN I DID NOT USE THE PHONE I AM NOT READY TO PAY THE AMOUNT. THERE IS NO CALL LOG OR ANYTHING IN THE BILL AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVES ARE TOO ARROGANT TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

              I ALSO SUGGEST INNOCENT PEOPLE OF INDIA NOT TO USE AIRTEL POSTPAID SERVICE.
              Sir, This is regarding the ineffecient service of Airtel. I am an Airtel customer since 2005 with postpaid no.[protected]. In this connection I would like to inform you that as per my bill plan (i.e. Rs 999/- for two years ) which has already been expired on 25.09.2008. On 9th July 2008, I had informed your customer care that after completed my plan period from 26.09.2008 onwards, I want to change my bill plan with same no. from post paid to prepaid effective 26.09.2008, But you have billed againt bill #[protected] my account Rs. 999/- one time charges for three years without informed me. I have also requested cutomer care through your service request no.18632541 dt. 06.10.2008 and 18732576 dt. 10.10.2008.

              Inspite of above, I had contacted customer care last 15 days but the problem is still same, if further i don't receive any clarification i will be compelled to go to consumer court. Is this the way the customers are satisfied!!

              I had post paid connection with airtel the number:[protected] in the month of november 2011,we had requested to change post paid to prepaid connection they accepted this request & sent representative for signature & document to change to prepaid.but still the plan has not changed &they are sending the bill till date.

                My complaint is I am recieving inflated value of Airtel bill for last three months. This is also to mention that aforesaid airtel number is being suspended 3 times without any request from my side. I am deeply in shock by activities of Bharti Airtel. They are doing a big harm to their reputation. I am fed up of calling customer care executives for waiver of extra charges being levied on my number.


                Therefore i am now porting all my airtel numbers i.e. 3 airtel numbers to Idea cellular. If this is to Continue then there will be atime when all from will port out of it and opt for next telecommunication service provider.

                This is with regards to the inflated bill for this recent month. I have been charged heavily for GPRS and other downloads. I would like to explain you that I am getting almost 10 sms from 58888 for Bollywood Diva subscription and half of the time merely opening of the sms directs to web. I would like to being into your notice that I have never used these services.



                Also I have following up with Airtel customer care nodal officer. Even spoke to their appellate officer but didnt get a positive response from them. Instead, i was asked to go to consumer court. All this is going since 20 + days and wasting a lot of my time but I have not got any satisfactory response till date.



                I would request you to look into this matter and revise my bill post removal of the bogus charges.



                Since the bill payment date is approaching I would request you to expedite the process.

                  i am being obliged to pay the due airtel bill which i am not responsible for .I had taken the internet post paid connection for 1 GB data usage. Normally airtel sends an mesage which the data usage is about to exceed .I didnot get any message and the dur bill reached 2800 rupees(with interent bill 2500) .when i raised the complaint to airtel ,no action was taken forward.

                  Now they they are putting emotinal torture to pay the bill. Please help me .

                  sir/madam, few month ago i took a airtel internet broad band service at 1st the excutive come he promised me that he will provide me with in three or four days my internet service but then they put my internet service in 25 days after that the problem is not finished my network is always creating problem n then i used to call them always n there engineer sometimes n customer care some time they pick my call sometimes not so i just fed up n told then after using around twenty days that i want to disconnect it n i inform them but now they call me n harass me that i have to pay the whole bill not for one month but for 2 to 3 month bill they didn't even send me any bill as a hard copy sir please help me out from this problem

                  Hi,

                  I had taken corporate connection with Airtel. No is [protected]. I stopped using the service in Sep 2011 and I personally went to Airtel office and asked them to stop the service for which they suggested me to pay the bill amount and they will take care. I did that. I came yto London on 18th Sep 2011 and since then I stopped the service. But Bills kept on coming for me and in April all of a sudden i got a mail stating I will have to pay 2126.16. First I suggested I will not pay, but then after some time thought I will pay and asked them to stop the service and this time I sent multiple mails asking for stopping service and I suggested I will not be paying for the service which I am not using for. Now I am getting one more similar mail stating I need to pay 1800 otherwise they will take legal action. They are harassing me like this and taking out money from my side. Could you please help. I am not using this service from 18th Sep 2011, but I am made to pay for it and like this they are cheating. I have all the mails that I have asked them to stop service. Can this be taken seriously.I can forward the mails that I had asked them to stop service.Here I am not able to upload the same.

                    Hi,
                    I ported from vodafone to Airtel last week. First airtel people messed with my request and my number was deactivated for 1 week. After that when they finally successfully ported the number, only outgoing call and 3g is working. I am not able to receive any incoming call. incoming/ougoing SMS also not working. If you call on my number ([protected]) it says “you seemed to have dialed an invalid number”.
                    Customer care of Airtel is another headache. First they put your call on hold and never come back. yesterday after trying 3-4 calls i could register a complaint. Today when i called to get the status of that complaint they told me your complaint is regarding 2G services and not related to incoming calls.This is sad and unacceptable.

                    Can someone please help.

                    Am not able to receive an incoming calls and sms for my airtrel prepaid number [protected] Also not able to send sms from past 1 week. I even called up the customer care for more than 7 times no response had been to airtel outlet still no response. This is very annoying the customer executive says you will get an call from technical team nut no response and outlet care says if will sort by end of the day. Very bad service and torture.

                    Please rectify this situation at earliest.

                      I recharched my reliance prepaid phone with Rs. 799, through internet. Transaction showed successfull, but the phone was not got recharged.But my money was got deducted from my account.I raised a complain to Reliance Customer care.
                      He logged the complain and close the complian saying money has been credited to my account.
                      But it is not credited in my account.

                      Recently in the month of June i was transfered from Bangalore to Chennai. I have given Request to cancel my account on 5 06 09. On the same day i had paid all my outsanding also.

                      Request number was given as : 27564607 for cancellation of the card. I have not used the number from June 10th to till date.(Nil Usage)

                      During this Saturday (7 11 09) instead of paying my bill to Chennai number i had paid to my Bangalore number. of rupees 1500 by net transfer.

                      While speaking to airtel customer care i came to know that my bangalore number bill was not closed and the bill was generated for the same on every month.

                      You can confirm the following things in my account details

                      1. There will be nill usage for last four months on my Bangalore Number.

                      2. Even after given the request number also the connection is not closed.

                      Now these persons are not giving any proper answer to my question. I have written 3 emails to 121 but there is no reply from them. Please provide us the escalation mail ids.

                      Airtel — Transfer OF money not in statement

                      I have applied for transfer of my PF money from my previous employer ( Reliance) with PF number :MH/46459/20009829 to my new PF account ( No: DL/24463/0015529) on[protected]. However the transferred amount is not reflected in the PF statement I received in 2008.
                      The annexure K from previous employer was sent to RPFC for verfication, but no revert. Airtel HR team also tried their best. RPFC dept do not revert or confirm anything. I am really worried and request your help.

I discovered the problem on the same day and spoke to the customer service the complaint was registered No. 3513190 and I was told the same will be credited to my account by the 10 August 2010 but repeated call up the customer service proved futile, I spoke to a person name Mr. Rajeev the Manager we were asked to believe who did not help us much he in fact put me on hold over the phone and I think this is not customer service and never got back with any info. This has gone on for almost a month now I kindly request you look in the complaint and same to be credited to my account asap.

                      i purchase AIRTEL no [protected] in 2006 after sumiting my ID and Address proof. since then i was only owning it ,suddenly2009 i got an sms saying this is regestered on other name so i went ot airtel Deealer office at RTC X ROAD and submited document 2009. 2010.again same sms againe i submited all document again 3 times more . but since my number got discontinued and i was been told docoument were not sumitted .

                      when my was discontinued i was having a balance of 222/- rechaarge .nor my number was activated nor by money was returned .but i was been reissued number after fighting for 3 month .

                      i want to ask when u acepeted that i was using that number and i mited docuhad subments in early also company donot mind me using numberr for 4 years .why nomber is been discontinued and when will my money come .

                          My number is [protected]. I have beeen a delighted customer of airtel where I am using all the services from airtel. but being such a loyal and delighted customer for a long time, I am put down by airtel mobile services where I am facing lot of issues. I thought of moving from airtel using number postability 6 months back but I was retained I was promised that I will be getting 30% discount on my bills which was not reflected in my bills so I stopped payment. When I contacted customer care through mobile and email I was requested for the contact number who provided the offer which is not possible for any customer to save it which happened 6 months back and now my service has been disconnected and no one bothers to hear that. This is the worst and very poor customer service offered by Airtel which I never expected frm them. Now, I am just thinking to stop usage of all services and go other best service provider in the market.

                          I was using the ISD facility for few months since I had to call up abroad quite often. The charges that were levied had always exceeded than the actual. To track my bill amounts i usually recieved a daily sms. There had been times when there was no calls made for the day but the smsbill will reflect and added amount which used to be a minimum of 200-500 or even more. On lodging complaints at the customer care - the CC executives cdnt help as they told me to wait till the next bill gets generated. By the time the bill got generated the mobile expense shooted to 12K. This went on generating till next 2 mnths and nw the total outstanding is 17K. This is crazy and i find no reason to pay this amount as this was never my usage. I have migrated abroad but my friends and family keep getting fake/ threathening and abusive calls from Bharti Airtel - this is simply no way to deal with a customer.

                          If my previous records were to be checked - i have never delayed any payments and have been a loyal cutomer with Airtel. But i guess instead of having an advantage of making payments on time, Airtel seems to be taking advantage of it.

                          If those abusive call continues to come then I might have to lodge a complaint at the customer court and demand a heavy compensation for mental harrasment and breach of privacy. Airtel has no rights whatsoever to make abusive calls out of the bill details of an individual.

                          I am an airtel customer. I am using the postpaid mobile connection of airtel. On the month of march i recieved a bill of Rs507 through email. Now all of a sudden airtel is asking me to pay Rs 800 for the month. The customer care people were very rude and does not understand the problem. they are telling me about plan change charges. If that is the case it should have come to my bill. Inshort with out putting in the bill they are asking me to pay extra amount. I have wasted enough time on this.                           I had an airtel post-paid connection in Pune. While shifting to ISB, Hyderabad (via 1 month stay in Bhubaneshwar), I was using the phone on roaming with minimal or no usage. I had requested that my phone be disconnected in a month's time from when I moved out of Pune at the Kondhwa Airtel center. I got a new phone connection in Hyderabad (non-Airtel) and discontinued my sim card. I have not used teh phone post- April 12/13th. Till April my bill amount was close to 1400 Rs and this was not sent to me until when I was told that the total amount is 7000 Rs. The customer service and the bill collection department have been very unprofessional in terms of not getting the right information to me to explain how the amount came to Rs 7000 when I only have a credit of close to 3000 and I was told taht one can never exceed the credit amount. Plus, I do not beleive the 7000 Rs is a correct amount, given that Airtel has till date not gotten back to me explainign how they got these numbers.

                          i am airtel user from 5 years and have been facing lots of recently recently .. i activated 3G on 26th january 2011 and am using the 100 Mb free data usage pack . my usage is strictly limited to occasional checking of emails when i dont have access to my work or home wi-fi and my usage is only abt 50-60 MB per month .. in the last month i got a call from airtel that my bill cycle has been changed and i had not given any request for it .. the call was followed by barring of my 3G service stating that my free using limit is crossed .. when called the customer care i was told that the problem was due to bill cycle change and will be solved afetr my bill has been generated .. the 3G was barred on and off for about 15 days of the month ... i was very shocked when i saw the bill of the month was 2500 due to 215 Mb of data usage as my 3G was barred for half of the month and there was no chance of me using so much of data ... i have been keeping track of my usage and from 26th january my usage is only 352 Mb recieved and 62 Mb sent ... i was sure that i have not used 215 MB in the month while in 6 months i have not even used all of my free 600MB usage ... when contacted the airtel team failed to respond and claimed that the bill is valid even when i offered to show my proofs against the matter ... i am very disappointed by Airtel for cheating prompt paying customers into paying huge sums of money they are not obligated to .. please solve my problem as soon as possible and i can even give a summary of my usage for past 6 months

                          I am an Airtel mobile[[protected]] user. Airtel has activated 3G on my phone, without my permission since April and i have been receiving all bills as per 3G. Despite repeated complaints my bills have not been revised and now my outgoing calls have been stopped. And i have been asked to pay the bill without which the outgoing facility wiill not be restored.

                          I have recieved an exaggerated bill from airtel which is because my 3G tarrif plan was deactivated without my consent. I have been charged at 10p/10 kb which has overshooted my bill from 800-900 to 5000+. I was given some free usage from airtel and after that free usage was consumed, my earlier tarrif got deactivated automatically, which I had never approved.
                          My name is Garima Jain. My airtel postpaid no. is [protected]. I use dongle for 3G internet connection.
                          According to the bill generated for my cycle from 11/3/2013 to 10/4/2013, I had used 1285738 Kb which is 1255.6MB
                          When I messaged to check my postpaid usage till 9/4/2013 8:50:18PM, I received a message that I have used only 668.12MB which according to the bill is around 1000MB.(If i exclude my usage for 10th April, 2013)
                          I would like to know why the usage stated in the message doesnt match with bill. I had raised compliants but have got no valid resolution.

                            This is to add that I am suffering due to the conversion to 4G. On 11 June 15 I opted to 4g. As promised it was working till 12th morning &amp; disconnected. I approached the vendor. He again got photo I&#039;d and gave another sim. It didn&#039;t work. Then on 13 again another sim which should work. To this moment it doesn&#039;t work. I called CC got redirected to vender.mailed...machine responded to resolve in 2 h (that&#039;s yesterday morning). Is there any one listening, please look into the number [protected] or mail me to [protected]@yahoo.com. Consumer forums may guide how to sue them please.

                              i activated std plan of RS 99 on 5th Aug .on 8 th i talked with costomer care and they said its technical problem.
                              And from here problem starts. if its technical problem they can send immediate sms.this much technology i think they must have.
                              Then they said check if pack is activated or not and let them convey.So why should i?if technical problem is detected means they can know if it is activated or not?but when i asked so they start asking and arguing to me.and funny thing is i[censored] want to ask or any query we have to pay our money.
                              customer care is charging.if they cannt provide service its ok i just want my money back with compansation

                                Hi,

                                I would like to highlight a very big security flaw by a company like Airtel.

                                As I did not get my phone bill (hard copy) for the month of August 2013, I called up Airtel Customer Care. They told me that the bill has been recieved by a person named as Sonu who is a guard in my society. I enquired about the guard and came to know that there is no such person who works here. Hence, they have given my bill to the person who is neither related to me or neither works here. Now this hard copy of bill contains detailed information which can be used by someone for all the wrong means.

                                I would like to ask how can a company like this can play with their customer's security and put them on risk???

                                    I am having a hard time getting the Airtel 4G activated. Even after calling the Airtel customer service several times no one came to give me demo.
                                    Then one agent sold me the wifi device and mentioned demo was not required since people in my area were using 4G without any problem. We also got the verification done but when we called the customer care for activation they mentioned that without demo they will not activate. They said that once you get the demo done then we will activate the number.
                                    The other day we called the customer care again saying that demo is done now but they said that they rejected the connection and we will have to reprocess again and they asked us to submit the documents again.
                                    Currently the Wifi router is gathering dust for a month now.
                                    This is such a terribly bad experience from Airtel customer service. What we paid for the router also is gone.

                                    Airtel — wifi activation not done

                                    Dear All,

                                    I am Dhriti Modak ph: [protected] using a broad band connection with AC no 16353499.

                                    I have requested for a upgrade of modem to wifi under the request no[protected] taken by Adal and as committed by him the concern person will pay a visit at my billing address latest by the 8.7.11 @11.30am.

                                    Unfortunately the above mentioned did not happen. I made several call to the help line (198) requesting for an urgent response as I had to leave for work by 12.30pm.
                                    My first call was received by Miss Kavita and I was assured a speedy resolution max 1hr time..After 1.5hr when there was no sign of an airtel representative I was forced to call the help line again.
                                    This time Mr. Amit Sau had received the call and was in extreme hurry to end the call. I repetitively told him that I need urgent solution as I had to leave for work but that did not make much of a difference. I had requested Mr Amit to transfer the line to any senior to which he came back saying they are all busy and on request of a call back he rather rudely said “there are no senior calls back taken” I was surprised that a customer can be denied a right to escalation!!!! instead he wanted me to stay back the entire day to wait for a wifi connection. As a matter of fact I did adjust my day off and waited patiently in the hope that Airtel values its customers. What a shame no one bothered to call.

                                    Yesterday 9.7.11 @ 3.00pm someone called from the no:[protected] and said have paid a visit at my place and since I was not present he wanted to get an appointment fixed. On questioning him the reason for the delay he was further rude and said he was overloaded with requests and does not wish to explain himself..

                                    The rudeness,the irresponsibility, the lack of commitment and the disrespect on display is shocking.
                                    I am highly disappointed, not sure if that matters at all. Standing today I so wish I had not got my old broad band connection disconnected over a friends recommendation to switch to Airtel for better services and I repeat ' better services '. The term seams like a joke to me.

                                    I fail to understand that having a corporate connection and willing to extend relationship with Airtel is not being accepted at your end.

                                    Request you to let me know if that is the case and I will very well use mobile number potability and other facilities available in the market.
                                    I would like to be associated with a brand with values its customers.

                                    AirTel — Number not getting activated

                                    I had bought a duplicate sim from airtel office, Sector -11, Panchkula on Saturday July16. After taking the duplicate sim I asked for any contact number of the store then I was not given any contact number. Instead I was told that there is no contact number and the sim will be activated in 4 hrs. The behaviour of the lady was so rude.

                                    My number is still not activated and the customer care folks are saying I will have to visit the store again to confirmabout activation. Earlier also for issuance of this duplicate sim I had to go there several times. This is so frustrating.

                                    I have raised a complaint against that store through customer care.
                                    I was given the reference number: WNGC[protected]

                                    Kindly look into this matter.

                                    No response to my queries yet. This is very frustrating.

                                      I am Post paid user of aitel Mobile No. [protected] , I received SMS yesterday on my mobile that Usage of International raoming ( Voice + Data) on my airtel mobile [protected] is Rs. 7725 on 9th August 2013.

                                      I traveled on 5th August to China , My ISD Roaming activated on 6th August.

                                      In my Blackbury phone I kept data services off . I did not get signal till 7th , Error SOS There was no service on blackberry.Only emegency call. shown on mobile.

                                      7th afternoon I changed my sim to another Phone Samsung and make two three calls from my SIM.

                                      I received many massage from Aitel , I haven't used data service and also it could not access data services on Samsung phone.

                                      8th and 9th August I made 2- 3 calls to India and 9th Evening return from China.

                                      I am surprisess to seee raoming bill , because I have not used data service. Only 5-6 calls to India. How you can make this much of bill. As per my calculation it should not be more than Rs. 750.00

                                      I assume , Airtel send me many SMS , unnessasry and charging for the same. Thease SMS send to increase my bill.

                                      I hope aitel can check my usage and give immediate attention to resolve the problem

                                      We donot axecpt this type of behavour like airtel company.
