Airtel Set top Box not working - despite of repeated complains, no one is addressing the issue.

My Set top is not working since 28th June, I logged complain for the same, for which I got return call on 1st July and given the compain number[protected] but till 18th july today its not been addressed. Airtel customer care number does not work, I called more than 50 times, out of which only 4-5 times I am able to reach the support person. Call get disconnected in between, its so frustrating, no one bother to call you back again Here is the list of complain number I got so far -

But so far issue is not fixed. I have left with no choice to find out a way to reach some one whoc can help. Is Airtel really care thier customer ?

DTH — Not functioning

Since 3 days not functioning. I had contacted customer care Sun Direct on [protected] and registered the complaint no.[protected] dt.21.05.09. But no action has been taken from concerned authority which the number was given to me for attending complaint. I tried many time to get the service and all are vein. I felt very bad because of non attending of complaint in reasonable time. I request you to kindly look into this matter and do the needful immediately.

i am residing at chennai.my airtel set top box is not working 5 days has been passed since i've complained for it..my complain no./reference no. is2115069,[protected].but no one has came to fix the problem. i regularly call at the no. [protected] and everytime they assure me that a representative/technician is on the way,but i dont know what's their problem? such an irresponsible behaviour..very bad customer service.

Airtel DTH — Not responding to complaints

I am having a airtel DTH, my clied id is [protected]. I am having very bad reception in picture since last 6 days.First complain i made in customer care , they said its because of low balance.I filled it with balance.I again called up they gave me complaint ID 2212687 and said engineer will come same day but he didnt come.Next day i again called up they said maybe he called but my cell was off,which never was.They again gave me a complaint ID 2218899 and said engineer will come in same day.The engineer never arrived.Again i called up day before yesterday,again they gave me a ID 2227303, and said person will come n 1 day.Two days have passed but still same no engineer,no calls. I am facing a lot of problems

There is a problem with STB and Airtel Service guy said it should be replaced. It should replaced with new STB and not with older ones. And this is still in warranty.

Airtel DTH — DTH Not Working

I have recharged the amount on Sep 24th 2010 but still i am not able to view the Airtel DTH in my TV. I got lot of phone call from Airtel customer care regardig this but no one resolved only they are asking the issue then . Customer care is not resolving the issue the are asking the issues only Good Customer Care Keepit up.

From December i am moving the other DTH, why i have to wait these type of service.

Airtel DTH — set top not working

my airtel dth takes 20 mins to start everytime. raised a complaint with their customer care on 15th february and followed up continuously. It is been 10 days from the day i raised complaint there is no resolution or response they give.

Airtel DTH — NON FUNCTIONING OF DTH

I had placed a request with airtel customer care for migration to HD package on 03 APR 2011.My dish vc no is [protected].They told me that engineer would be coming to do the same .no body came . my several calls to airtel people felt on deaf ears. subsequently they started disconnceting my call in the way that i used to call customer care & once i wud reach the stage where i cud speak to customer care exec they wud tell me to sms HELP & somebody wud call but nobody ever called . This kept on happening till 18 apr 2011 during which i had made some 200 calls to variuos people , visited airtel service centres,after which i was forecd to switch to DISH TV( ZEE) since i had no tv channles for more than 15 days. then i told airtel people to return my balance which was lying in my acct but they even refused to do that .the dish & set top box r lying with me as waste & my acct balance of 656 rs is still lying with airtel. i had registered a complaint on 27 may & again on 08 jun but till date it has not been resolved .

AirTel — DTH not working

This is regarding DTH connection provided by airtel.This is not working after recharge of rs.250/- & saying error- SM2.Nobody from airtel customer care want to take seriously.Please look into this i want my money back .

AirTel — NOT WORK

i have a broadband connection of airtel[protected] . This is dead from[protected] , i already give you a complain (2201548 , dtd.- 12/08/2011) but i not have any solution regarding this issue .

I also call your senior executive , they are give me dally 6.00 to 8.00 pm time but take no any action.

I requested you to please take action against this issue if you not want take any action then please disconnect my phone .

I remember your executives to I do not pay your Bill of this month because i have same problem last month 17.07.2011 to 25.07.2011 . but i pay fully bill amount.

with due respectfully I used to say that customer purchase a dth connection 15th may 2012 in the package of 1590 cst name is santanu goswami address is 3 no. bijoynagar madral road po naihati pin 743165. He purchase from wide vision p 849 kol 89 jessore road lake town westbengal after dth installation he is unable to see the picture in his television till now. I am the employee of airtel customer came into the shop he complaint regarding the problem. On behalf of customer I call to my senior Mr. anirban & Mr. sambhu but they can' t take any serious step to solve this problem.Thats why I have complaint against both employee.

    Dear I had a sim of airtel postpaid and i stopped using that in march 2013. in may i got a bill of 6500 and i got call from airtel executive and in 28th may i filled that bill and asked that person to discontinue my services and he agree that.
    Now that person is not picking my call and bill is again generated.
    What to do.please help.

    we do not use the service but still airtel charging us .

    AirTel — Unnecessary call

    I am having airtel sim no. [protected] It is prepaid connection.For the last 3 days I am getting unnecessary ad calls from airte.Previously I was getting two to three calls per day but now I am gettin gten to twelve calls.I want to get these calls stopped which are promotional calls.

    Very worst customer service network i ever seen. always taking rs 1.50 or rs 0.50 regularly from my account without my permission. and saying irrelevant reason for it always. Dont u feel shame for doing like this. I decided to change my operator to vodafone or bsnl .They are giving better service than you in all ways. There is good qos also. I have filed nearly more than 10 complaints regarding this issue to my nearer customer care center . But still i am experiencing the same problem in every two month gap . that is only for two months they are not taking unnecessary amount from my account. Later they start to take money from my account unwantedly.I know how airtel tap other network customers into its own network.But you failed to maintain those customers to remain in the same network. I will recommend my family, friends and relatives not to use airtel network further, if this same issue continuous for me.
    when i tried to file my complaint in airtel website they are jamming it by asking to complete my name with alphanumeric. it looks irritating and shows stupidity of the network. how its possible to have individual name in alphanumeric. Eventhough i tried with some numeric along with my name but still it shows the same pop up box to complete my name with alphanumeric. This shows the poor network management.

      I had taken a prepaid connection with Airtel-West Bengal circle at Gangtok on 13 /07/2013. They promised that it will be activated in 48 hrs, the problem is that my SIM (MSISON [protected],IMSI [protected],ICCID[protected]) is not activated till now.
      When I call ([protected]) the customer care representatives they never response to solve my problem. They are not returning my documents and money .They use such documents to provide fake connections to criminals and terrorists. I request this forum, TRI and national security agencies to look into the matter as this problem is very common in this area, many people are suffering because of fraudulent activity of local Airtel retailers.

        Guys,

        An interesting fact about Airtel.

        My Airtel mobile number has been de-activated which I was using for more than 5 years. Whenever required, I have submitted all the relevant papers at Customer care center. When I tried calling number it says that “Number is not in use” even same message conveyed to me by Airtel office in Kellys. Still, number has not been given to anyone. So I have requested them please block it this number for me.

        I have keep sending email for more than a 1.5 months to all your nodal officers and visiting chennai Airtel office in different places. (last visit with Kellys branch) but nobody response even from Nodal office I didn’t receive any call or update.

        Finally, I have decided to post on internet and use social media to catch hold of Airtel and get my number as I have given this number to maximum places. Eventually I have posted in Airtel India facebook page. I have started getting call from Airtel and they are interested in listening to my problem and informed me they will call back. The major problem which I came across with, different people from different number they will call so you cannot recognize their name.

        Note: If you call back they won’t pickup your call.

        However I thought they are going to resolve my issue so being an polite accepting calls. But when finally they told me that my number has been allocated to someone else. I have asked them reason why? They do not have answer for that. I mentioned that I have sent you couple of emails and informed to block it and don’t give to anyone.

        My 2 Q:
        • I have initimated well in advace to block my number then why you have given to someone?
        • I have received a call on 9th Jun 2013 so as per TRAI law you cannot deactivate my number. What is reason for deactivating it?

        Above question they were failed to respond because they do not have complete detail for my account from Airtel. Then, I asked them being Airtel executive how come you do not have information? Their answer to this question surprised me that they are not from Airtel family. This work has been outsource to them so they will not having all information. In this case, it’s purely fraud they are playing with customer of Airtel. Without having complete information how can they address customer queries?

        One more information shocked, One of executives told me that share all email which I have sent to nodal and Airtel offices. She gave me one email ID : airtel.[protected]@gmail.com so I have forwarded all email to same ID. When I told even we have sent you email she completely denied saying that they have not receive any email from me not to Airtel presence neither Nodal officer. So I got doubt, because email have never been bounced then why she is telling like this. So I sent FB message asking “airtel.[protected]@gmail.com” is that Airtel ID? Because why airtel want to use gmail ID?

        This is a big fraud I came to my life till now. I was wondering, for how many people they will be doing like this and collecting data to their personal email ID and selling it off? Deactivating number and giving to somebody for self benefits.

        BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD!!!

        Once I get time I will sue them to consumer court as I have collected all evidence even phone calls. I AM STILL ON!!

        Airtel — number not yet started

        my airtel number(maharashtra) [protected] was suddenly barred from making outgoing or recieving incoming calls for document unverification several days ago.
        though i submitted all the required document such as driving license and all other identities for verification purpose many times, still airtel is harrasing me and not starting services on my number.
        kindly take some urgent action on this!

        Bharti Airtel — FRAUDULENT ACT

        I have requested the company to discontinue my mobile connection but the executive called me and ask the reason. The reason was charges. She requested me to continue the connection and opt for any other package. She offered me 998 yearly rental plan where she specially offered me CLIP free of cost. and now they are charging me for the CLIP. this is a fraud by the company with its subscribers. Strict action to be taken to stop this sort of action by the company. Please help me.

        Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Frauding to the Customer

        Hi,

        I am very disappointed to say that bharti Airtel Ltd. is frauding to their customer.

        Actually I requested for the broadband connection and gave the initial amount, after that they said to me Port is not available in your area. I agreed for this but when i asked my deposited amount they said that "Your amount will be tranfer within 9 days".

        After that they gave me check with different name. when i again asked that the name printed on check is not valid. Then they said ok.. sir.. send me your ID proofs/documents via couriers/on spot in chennai.

        I am really very upset for ongoing process again and again rather it was not my fault.


        Big Shame on Bharti Airtel Ltd. .......

        Airtel — Deactivated my number without informing

        Dear Sir,

        My Airtel mobile [protected] has been deactivated without any prior notice. I took this phone connection for usage by my mother during her travel to us and her return journey. I recharged with Rs. 3000/- approximately so that my mother should not suffer in her journey. But it is observed that the phone was deactivated and she could not use the phone during her return journey.

        Airtel should have informed in advance before de-activation at least to my mail ID or alternate contact no., so that I should have made alternate arrangements to my mother, who sufferred a lot in her return journey.

        When I contacted Airtel Customer Care, I was informed that it is the practice of the company. May be it is a rule of the company. But it is obligatory on the part of the company to inform in advance either by mail or thro' post before de-activating. When I inquired about the refund o[censored]n-utilized amount I was informed that it is the policy of the company not to refund the amount, which shows the attitude of the companies towards consumers. This shows how the consumers are being exploited in the guise of the policies.

        I request for justification by arranging for refunding the unutilized amount in my above said mobile account.

        Bharti Airtel — Issue my airtel no. to someone else

        Sub :- Airtel Sim Card Registration failed [protected] Prepaid (DELHI) Gandhi Nagar
        Dear Sir,

        My airtel sim had lifetime validity. In May it just stopped working and the mobile status shown SIM CARD REGISTERATION FAILED.
        It is my permanent no. for the last 7 years. All my contacts are on it.
        I visited the airtel customer care office, Gandhi nagar, Delhi, they were told to call 999 from their help desk phone and there receiver told me that my mobile number has been deleted from their list and they cannot activate the no. as it is not used for long. But this no. has been allotted to someone else. How can you issue this phone no. to someone else I am a permanent user of yours.
        What of the loss I had incurred as all my clients have that no?

        Now a day’s airtel has introduced a new way of earning money. Once it sells a sim card to any customer with one to two year validity and within one month it takes back the no. and the sim card shows the message SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED. And after six months the same no. is again available for sale. Is this not a fraud to the customer? And when asked with customer care the same problem they say that nothing can be done. So, by which rule Airtel is selling the same no. to different customers within a span of one year when the no. is sold to one customer for one or two year?

        Sir It is highly requested please allot my existing no. to me……

        BHARTI AIR TEL — no email id and password

        Delhi High in a land marking judgement has held that private telecoms company come within the ambit of consumers protection act and affected consumers can approach to Consumers Forum for their grievances. while a case was filed against Bharti Air Tel for not providing two email id and the password while giving broadband Internet connection. The Consumer Court did not entertain the complaint and State Commission in Delhi also refused to accept the complaint.           There are so many bothersome calls advertising ware and especially airtel add ons etc. Each time the unsuspecting customer presses the numbers like [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] some one starts speaking about the features of the product. Even if you now press to stop the call, a sum of 3- 4 rupees gets charged for having received the incoming call. And it happens 10-12 times in a day causing a substantial loss to the customer besides irritating one. Please make sure that atleast I for one ( phone number [protected]) do not get any more calls from your marketing cell otherwise I will proceed legally against this nuisance

          I got a airtel postpaid connection last year 31 december from airtel showroom, parkstreet. i have received every day so many calls from different loan company and credit card company, and every time they asked is this Mr. Ajoy mitra's no. and every time i said thet no this is not Mr. Mitra's no. may be he used this no earlier but now last 5 months i use this ph. no.they said ok sorry and cut the line. next day again another person called me and the same thing hapend again. every day i have received more than 15/20 calls from differnt no. ( ICICI, CITY bank,ABN AMRo, HDFC etc.).
          i have already told to airtel customer care please block this no. because i can't chane this no. because it is my office no. and i am using this no in my blackberry ph. but still they do not take any action. i would like to request you pls look into this matter on urgent basis and short the same.

            I am paying 250 rupees and more for 3G services on my phone round the clock but the 3G network is available only sometimes; all other times it is 2g network on my phone. This is false advertising and selling services to customers with fake promises.

            Airtel has now barred my outgoing calls and sms and so called "3g" services on my number since I have not paid bills for two months.
            I have not paid the bills deliberately and have been asking them to resolve their 3g issues and not bill me for services not provided.
            Yet after two months they keep chanting the same "airtel support person came to your house and fixed it".
            Now why would an airtel support staff need a visit to my house if it a cellphone issue and the network is not available everywhere in the city.
            Airtel is harassing me to pay bills every second day with incessant calls and messages. But nothing about the service requests I have raised.

            I am using airtel for last 15 months but the customer care service they had provided is terrible.
            i changed my home in june 07 and informed them to change my address but they didnt. i called them atleast 20 times for the same issue but it didnt worked.
            also a few months back i recieved a sms regarding ebills that u can get ur bills on your email and i signed up for that and still i have not recieved any ebill moreover they say that they dont have my email either but i had given them my email id on customer care and also msged to 121 as per the format they told me many times.
            at last after paying my bills for 4 months just by the info i get on sms i didnt pay and they barred the outgoing without even contacting me once.
            i dont know what for i am paying every month? what are the charges on my account?
            Also i had asked them to deactivate GPRS,MISSED CALL LERT, AIRTEL LIVE AND CALLER TUNE on 31ST OCT and still recieving miss call alerts and on 11h oct i again recieve a msg that ur monthly rental for caller tunes is deducted from my account.

            also i lost my simcard on 26th oct 07 and asked them to block my simcard.
            then on 31st oct 07 i bought a new simcard for 225 rupees after roaming to all their outlets from SOUTH EXE to DEFENCE COLONY to LAJPAT NAGAR to HAUJ KHAS and was told that it will be activated in 1 hour but it took almost 20 hours and more than 30 calls as most of them were diconnected by thier representatives.
            in every 4 calls, 3 calls are diconnected by them.
            Using airtel i have faced too much of mental torture humiliation and tension.
            (i have not mentioned my mobile no as i am not sure weather its safe or not plz email me for any further info.)

              Some unknown, calling from numbers - [protected] and [protected] , keeps disturbing me during late nights. Every time, he calls me, he sounds drunken. On first call, I asked his name, he messaged SWAPAN MUKHERJEE. (I don't know anybody of this name.) Except for the first call, I've never spoken back. He has been doing this since around last twenty days. Initially, he used to call from the no. [protected], but when after a couple of times, I started rejecting his calls, he began with the other no.[protected]. I request, to take some serious action against this person, because, restricting only these two numbers wouldn't be helpful, as he might start with a third no. Please do the needful , as early as possible.

But we requested with them to send the credit note with deduction of TDS. But they filled my Chequ for Rs.100000.00 and presented the Cheque for collection with out any information to me The Cheque has Bounced..They made a acomplaint in the court in Delhi. I am in Coimbatore .This was the year of 2002 happened.With out any confirmation they them self filled for Rs One Lakh and deposited.Proff is our earlier covering letter .But his lawer in his notice confirmed about the commission amount payable to us. My due to him Rs:85000.00.My Commission due from them Rs45000.00 Also They were not submitted the form E-1 against our form "C" .This is a consessional form to save the tax.We have lost nearly Rs:12500.00and paid penal charges to our Sale Tax Authorities.Government of Tamil Nadu.This proof we have.

              They have was also not deducted, but .insted they have added some unwanted freight Charges for the materials and Intrest etc.

                I recharge below plan every month,

                Service Rs. 399 30 days Unlimited emails (POP/IMAP) + Instant
                Messaging + Internet Browsing

                and for past two months I receive a pop up message by which Airtel deducts at an average of 20 ps every time.

                I contacted Blackberry customer care at +[protected] and for contacting the normal charges is 50 ps/ 3 Mins, and the service provider deduct around 98 ps / min. That too they are not responding to our quires and try to justify.

                Further if ask to connect to the superior, they never answer the call.


                Really I regret, do no what action to be taken against them. I

                  I am using Airtel boradband connection. It was inactive since febraury 2013. I moved to new location within the city and asked them to cancel the connection. They said they will shift the connection. i said ok for that. However they said that it is not possible to give the connection in new location due to port issue. Since then they kept on dragging the issue and never gave the connection in my new location. But for this period they charged me the regular amount. It is INR. 1092.72.

                    I am sufferer of poor service and customer care by AIRTEL.


                    I made more then 100 calls at various contact numbers with airtel...121 54321, 57878, 543211(charges 3 per min) for one simple request of changing my hello tune. Instead of taking request they transfer me here and there only to disconnect my cxall. And in whole this process i have wasted more then Rs 100 and plenty of energy.

                    They have promised for call back but never turn up.

                    Every day my unbilled ussage rise like min 200 every day. and i get calls from airtel to pay without even knowing that not bill since begining of the servive is delayed.

                    Airtel was good 5 years back but now it sucks in all ways.

                    I cant fight with them to improve their service but i can change my operator.

                    I am forced to apply for MNP.

                    This month bill would be my last bill with airtel.

                    So called Airtel is the poorest when it comes to delievering services to its customer, we requested for our duplicate bill as the bill was not recd by us on time though we had made the payment much on tme, but we have not recd the bill for current cycle9whose due date was 12th aug) as requested but recd the bill for cycle before the current.Its ridiculous on part of aitel doing such careless and stupid blunders.

                    It was so frustating experience for me from Pune Airtel team. Since December, the tower near my father's res. is not working and he is not able to talk to anybody when he is at home. Due to old age, he is always at home and do not go anywhere normally.

                    After 2 months by repetative complaints by me no one bothered to even entertain the complaint. I was been told the problem will be solved within 3 working days, but now 2 months have passed, but nothing has happened. All the Airtel customers residing in that area are having same problem and are seriously switchover to Idea / BSNL due to this...

                    I was really get frustated after getting treatment from such REPUTED TELECOMMUNICATION CO. LIKE AIRTEL.

                    Airtel authority should check this, I had made atleast 10 calls to customer care centre in 2 months, evrey time I have to repeat my complaint, and sweetspeaking parrots from AIRTEL were telling me " sir you will get feedback in 72 Hrs. from our service dept."

                    AIRTEL will be losing it's image day by day .

                    Senior Authority Should Contact me If they have little attention towards there customers .

                    AirTel — Poor Service

                    I have recently purchased an Iphone from Airtel Gallery at Vashi. The service provider is suppose to activate my GPRS within 24 hours for internet service. But its been 6 days now and despite of several follow ups the sevice is not activated.

                    I have already given them the IMIE number and also visited the Vashi Gallery again to check the status. They told me it will get activated on Tuesday but still the status is the same.

                    I want to lodge a complaint against Airtel for not giving the service.

                    I have lodge request twice with Airtel and the numbers are[protected] & 32389608.

                      I am v.Ramesh reddy from bangalore.I had taken a prepaid connection with airtel - ap circle on saturday i.E,. 14/07/2013. They have told that it will be activated in 48 hrs, the problem is that my sim is not activated till now.When iam calling the customer care representatives they are not responding.If we are calling them repeatedly, now they are telling that u have to take a new connection again.I had asked them that iam residing in bangalore and i wont go to bangalore for next coming 10 days, then how can i take connection?? They people are saying that v r helpless sir. U must take a new connection again.



                      For taking a new connection i have to go to andhra again, by wasting my tym nd keeping leave for office.



                      This is what they r doing.


                      Now a days airtel is becoming the worst in terms of customer service.They people vl look only for new connection nd money.

                      Sir,

                      Am working for a software company in Chennai. Last week ie., by May 27th, 2008 I took a postpaid connection under my Firm's CUG scheme and the number I was allocated is [protected].

                      At the time of taking connection, I submitted photocopies of my company ID card, PAN card, ration card and passport size photograph to one of your executives. And by 31st of May, outgoings were barred and the reason I was given, by your executive, is that I had cut, copied and pasted my mother's photo on someone else's ration card !!! Is this the way your novice executives will talk to a customer without even verifying the photocopies against originals ? Above all, to sort out this probs, your executives gave me an excellent idea (?!!!) that I should handover my original ration card to them and after verifying (ie., after a couple of days) they will return back that to me it seems !!! Who in India will give their original ration card to a third person ? Even in passport office, they return the originals to the customer on the spot after verification.

                      Is this the novel way you provide customer service ?

                      Don't you train your executives to speak in a polite manner ?

                      It's quite disgusting to see a private concern behaving in such a barbarious manner.

                      AirTel — Poor Customer Service

                      I had visited ur Andheri (E) ARC on Wednesday, 25/06/2008 & spoke to Manisha sitting at counter no.3.

                      I explained her the entire issue which i am facing.

                      She told me that she had captured a complaint for my mobile number & i will get an SMS confirming the complaint number.

                      She also promised to call me back within 24 hours.

                      Later when i did not receive an SMS, i called-up customer care & they told me that there in no compalint captured at all.

                      I once again went to the same ARC on Thursday, 26/06/2008 but the executive sitting on counter no.2 informed me that she had a week-off & that i shud cum again on Friday, 27/06/2008.

                      When i came on Friday, she was not available in the ARC.

                      On asking about her, i was informed that she was on a break.

                      I was waiting for her for half-an-hour but she did not cum.

                      Then i informed the executive sitting on counter no.1 to inform manisha once she comes back to call me as per her promise for a call-back.

                      Today is Monday, 30/06/2008 but till now i have not received any call back from Manisha.

                      Is this the customer service provided at your end.


                      I once again repeat the entire issue.

                      I have 2 nos ([protected] & [protected]) in my name which i have taken as i wanted Inter-calling free.

                      Each month the bill comes with the incorrect charges as i do not get the bienifit of inter-calling.

                      Then i have to call the customer care & then they provide me that waiver of the incorrect charges & confirm that i will not be charged incorrectly from next bill onwards for both the nos.

                      But again in the bill of [protected], i have been charged approaximately 507.00 as once again i have not been given the benefits of Inter-call free.

                      I look forward to you as to get my issue resloved completely so that i get the reversal of the incorrect charges & also i shud not be charged incorrectly in future for my both the nos.

                      I like to convert my Airtel post paid connection to prepaid one. The customer cacre representative came and got the necessary details but he failed to register for the prepaid connection. So i called Customer care to know about my connection status. But they gave wrong number to call postpaid connection customer care. So i am not satisfed with the airtel service. It may push me to use other mobile service.

Is not roomer its true, I have all document is there, so i give small advise don't take postpaid connection in airtel its waste, and i will take this issue legal action in few days

                      AirTel — Lousy customer service at AIRTEL

                      I live in UK and arrived into India on 15th Decdember 2008 morning. Ever since, I have been calling up folks at Airtel Bangalore to get my 'Lifetime Connection' live again. I had Santhosh from Sales, who hung up the phone on me, Mahesh from customer servioce giving me a total misleadiong information, Sathyaprasad who kept me on eternal hold... and finally I got hold of Kiran who managed to as I believe is reliable information. At least 100 minutes of STD call from Cochin to Banaglore customer service- ridiculous with no solution yet. I tried to go escalation path to be only told that the supervisors are busy on other calls.

                      To the bottomline... I took this lifetime connection in year 2006, had it flushing with top up. I used to travel to India frequently. However for past one year I have not travelled to India. Airtel now surprises me with information that the lifetime connection which they charge a one time Rs 999 is not lifetime if not charged every 6 months. Isn't this absurd? They have not even communicated this to me by any means. I have always had this number since 9 years although it was ported few times within different plans in Airtel.

                      Airtel does not allow easy recharges to be done on internet. Friends, It seems awkward as to why a company this big which uses big bollywood names for publicity tries to earn money through such dubious means. I feel cheated.

                      customer service — Poorest customer service

                      Was on Jetlite 8:40PM flight from Bangalore to New Delhi on 20 Dec. Had the most unforgettable flight till date. The customer service is of poorest in nature and content and would be disgrace to any airline to be compared with. No one from the airline staff to attend to query about the delayed status of the flight, chaotic boarding, and top it all not more than 15 luggage loaded on to aircraft, which we came to know only landed in Delhi. The Bangalore chaos was followed up in Delhi as well, with some ill trained, ill equipped young customer service executive trying to handle agitated customers. Some missed the connecting flight, and to add to their dismay, their luggage was in Bangalore. Some foreign tourists strangled on the airport in the early hours mornings, with missed connecting flight, no luggage and no one to attend to and no where to go….more was to come as the jetlite counter had not enough “missing luggage” form available. Aviation ministry should come out with certain guideline to control the menace of airlines as such, and Mr. Goyal u got no right to be in the business and u must retro inspect…….no wonder your company is in such mess, and to executives of the airline: we are sorry that whole country went up in arms to save your jobs, with the way you attend to your duties, you should be ashamed and held responsible for the mess of the company….for sure, I personally would think twice even considering this airline again.

                      AirTel — Poor Customer Care Serivice

                      Actually I had a query with prepaid service in Airtel, before going to Airtel Showroom in Splendid towers (Opp to Begumpet police station) I spoke to Customer care then they directed me to come down to there.

                      So I went there the same day,

                      And the same day I realised that how bad the customer service is in Airtel.

                      everyone there were trying to finish out the counts but not the customer problems.

                      When my turn came, the query was handled by Shailaja, she was also the same, not trying to look into my problem, but rather then trying to Complete the token service.

                      She was trying to tell that " You can go now ", doesn't even how to behave with customers and how to serve them.

                      If this is the case with Customer Care service, Who will avail their service.
                      by mistake i log on to www.igmobi.com i enter my phone no. since from that day my amount is being cut continuosly two days. it is showning GPRS connection, even i don't know how to use, so will you please disconnet it and it is possible then return my amount
                      Airtel Customer Support service is very bad and they always ignore your call. When by luck you get them they will say that the Network is down and they can not access your Details on the System database. please try later ..

                      I have a Airtel Life Time Connection Having Number [protected]. on this no cricket Messages are coming from 543212 and daily deduction of Rs 5 ( Five Only) is being deducted through my ballance. The deduction is being done through 5646505. Time to time since last three month I am contacting Customer care through messages and Calling rhem but there is no proper response. Alway it is told that after 24 Hours messages will be stoped but as soon as any indian cricket match starts daily deduction of 5/- starts .

                      I have ben using airtel since 2005 ( delhi) & Before 6 month I 've shifted to bangalore & got a new Pre paid air tel connection and continued it for next 3 months, then I ve got a call from CC executive regd post paid plans ( 3 times) & I ve given the appointment to meet their Executive, decieded to go for a post paid connection.

                      I ve given 320/- cash with reqd documents on 20th Feb 09 & clearly told them that I will available on next day or from 24th feb 09 for verifications clearance, the xecutive came to house on 23 rd & rang up me red verificatrion, again I told him that I will be available next day morning as i was out of state..
                      then I was calling...calling them for verifictin & other procedures, But finally I fed up with their remarkable attention given to their custmer( some time they wil pick my phone & say will call in few min. but never get back to me rather myself decided to approach them)
                      Even I asked them their executives free times to clear my verifications but the same results..
                      finally I went to Rajaji nagar(19 th march) Air el Customer Service & complained my problems & the ensured the verifications will be done in a week period, and Still I am waiting for my clearance from them, Now I decided to with draw my money 4m them, for that also they are not paying me after I spoke to them on April ****

                      Customer care services of AIRTEL company is getting worse day by day... they dont pick up the complaint... keep hanging the customer on call..... moreover the the reports after the call/ sms/and Internet uses dont come....

                      I got airtell connection since 2002 in my name. I am not able to send any message to local or national number since 3 days. I spoke to 12 advisor on help number, However they are unable to provide me resolution. Every time advisor tried to give me the new story.

                      It seems aitell helpline is useless and do not know how to handle calls. While conversation with them they disconnected my call twice May be
                      its normal for them.
                      The last update I received from them, my issue resolved , I asked them how and when ? .

                      As per your floor supervisor ? . The Great person “ MR ZAKIR” called me today at 10.00 and resolved my issue, however not received any call or miscall form them and my problem is still same. This is the way airtell e resolve the issue without calling them .??????

                      Complain number’s: CLSMS[protected],[protected],[protected] and [protected].

                      why I got different complain number each time ,as my problem is same and still not rectify.??? Now I am not able to call helpline number to check the status, as they barred my number to call toll free number ???. This show the example of good customer service.

                        My Airtel 2G Internet is disconnecting since last few days. I have recharged for Rs 125/-. for 1 GB Data. I have balance also. Still Internet is not connecting. I called customer care, they say Internet settings may be the problem, they sent it and as per there advice I restarted my handset, still Internet is not connecting. There is no issue of balance, internet settings, range. Everything is fine, but internet is not connecting.
                        Please resolve my problem.

                          We requested for the activation of Static IP Service on our corporate landline number i.e.[protected] few months back (please refer to the trailing mail for the exact date & time). As usual with Airtel it was taking a long time, so I contacted 121 to check the service request status the same day, I was given the option to deactivate the service by them, assurance that we won't be charged any amount. But, the same amount i.e. Rs. 5, 000 + taxes, etc.'s reflecting in our bills till date, I even contacted Airtel Appellate Team regarding the issue, received a mail that the issue will be resolved within the next 4 days (automated mail) but still waiting for a call from them. Finally, Airtel has barred our services.

                          Wish, if there was FLP Service (Fixed-Line Portability Service) in India.

                          iam having an issues regarding the bill.

                          last year may 2010 i activated the air-tel pc secure having the full idea that its chargeable, Rs 100 will be charged for the service per month.
                          but after using the antivirus for one 2 or 3 days i uninstalled the antivirus, as it was making my system very slow. after that i made a call to the airtel customer care so that i can ask them for my antivirus DE-activation ,in return i was told that the antivirus (airtel pc secure) is totally free with my plan(899- unlimited).
                          so it doesnot really matter whether i use it or not.

                          But last week i got a call from airtel and they told me that its not free ,instead its chargeable.

                          so i have been paying Rs 100 per month for the last one year, just because one of your customer care executive passed on the wrong information to me.
                          so in total i paid 1300 rupees which i should not have paid.

                          my total outstanding bill is around 2400.
                          every day i get a call from airtel regarding the outstanding bill, but nobody cares to sole my issue.

                          i want this issue to be solved as soon as possible. and i want that extra amount which i have been paying for the last one year(1300) from may 2010 to July 2011 to be refunded or adjusted in my current outstanding bill of 2400.

                          at the same time i would also like to tell you that my connection has been bared from last Friday without any information. i already told the customer executives that i will only pay the bill after the issue is solved.

                          so kindly look in the matter.

                            Airtel — Recharge without any Benefit

                            Hi

                            Myself Mutallib Khan pursuing CA at present. Really appreciate your Forum for the kind of services being provided all over India. To add on, the services provided by you are the best way to catch hold of all those culprits who are cheating now and then to people like us.

                            To move on, I would like to put forward a complaint which is unnoticed by majority o[censored]s. Recently I recharged my airtel mobile number, and in return i dint get any talk-time nor any kind of benefit, i have found this weird because if a customer is not getting any benefit nor the shopkeeper from where i recharged, then who is the Party gaining without providing any service, its non other than India's leading Service provider AIRTEL.

                            I tried calling customer care many a times, and each of the executive had different answers to my complaint. And finally they told, they cant help if the customer has recharged for a withdrawn plan. OK, if the plan is withdrawn then why don't they reimburse us. This is really freaking, because AIRTEL cannot earn money out of nothing being provided to a customer.

                            I would let this go because I recharged only for an amount of Rs.45 /- but the shopkeeper's words woke me up when i kiddingly asked him whether i can file a complaint. He told me "This is happening with many customers & no one is coming forward to lodge a complaint, people like you can file a complaint so that there is some action taken against them"

                            Just assume this happens in every locality, don't you think AIRTEL is eating away crore's of rupees by cheating their own customers who value them so much.

                            So i kindly request the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum to look after this & take necessary action.

                            Hi , Y'day 14th April-11, I have recharged with Rs.25, assuming that i'll get STD A2A benefit at Re1 for 3 min, Also retailer confirmed the same. Since from y'day i'm getting charged 50p for every minute, I've called Call Center twice, but havent get the Proper answer from them. they said it is activated on your number, but then how come m getting charged at 50p for every minute.

                            Airtel — Not getting benefits for Certain Recharges

                            I'm Nandan U D, my Mobile number is [protected], an Airtel Prepaid connection. I had done a e-recharge of Rs. 27 for making all STD calls 40ps/min on 31/12/2011 at 05:54pm and my transaction ID is[protected]. Still now I'm not getting any benefit of the recharge. Whenever I call the customer care and ask for a proper solution they says 'We will contact you with in an hour'. There is no response from them. This is not the first time I'm getting such a response from them. I had faced the same problem regarding the same recharge of Rs. 27 which I had done on 18/11/2011 at 04:45pm (Transaction ID is[protected].

                            Please consider this complaint and take necessary action.

                              I applied for new connection on 9/7/2013 with number [protected]. On repeated requests to the vendor, I have not been able to get the connection activated till today. I am highly disappointed with the delay at your part. Please do the needful at earliest.

                                hi, i am Karan Gambhir...my prepaid number is [protected] and in the evening my today (14th October 2008) my balance got deducted by about 30 Rs for which i did not get ne msg from Airtel.

                                my balance was sumwhere close to Rs 144 and on checking in the evening my balance was Rs.114.

                                i tried complaining on the Airtel cutomer care but the executive did not have information about it, and he told me to call after 24 hours.

                                please note i am not using ANY extra service except for Hello Tunes for which already Rs.200 was deducted from my account.

                                I want a refund of those Rs.30 !!..its highly annoying.i am really really dissappointed with Airtel and request you to register a complaint from my side, and pls make sure a get a resolution for the same !

In 25 September 2010 evening around 1500 hrs i have received a message from airtel service to renewed a service of video_mod subscription, i have been charged Rs.30 from my prepaid account. i am approach the customer care for airtel service i informed that there is no request to send my me on this service. the customer care officer has refund the same amount my account around 16:06.17 hrs on the same day after my telephone conservation. But, i have been charged for Rs. 129.00 for Games download- Rs.99 and AD pack- Rs. 30 without any type of request send to mine. i am call to customer service on 27 September 2010 atleast 07 times i have been charged for this 07 calls but no response for the customer service from airtel. Sir, please help me and refund the same my prepaid account. i am again confirm you that there is no request send to me neither SMS nor internet. so please take necessary action to this complaint please. for any type of enquiry please contact [protected]@gmail.com.

                                  I am not sure if I am reaching the right authorities at Airtel…but, I guess this case needs the attention it deserves.

                                  My name is Shajesh Menon and I am based in Bangalore. If you check my credentials and case history, I have been your customer for the last decade or more. My primary mobile number (+[protected] was procured even before Airtel came into Karnataka…you could trace it back to the JTM relationship (eventually bought over by Airtel). I also have an add-on connection tied back to this primary number.

                                  This mail however, is in eagerness to sort an impending problem with Airtel's billing department. I had a broadband connection at home ([protected]_kk) for more than 2 years. You can also check my payment history…not once was there a default or late fee. The story only begins here…I head a Marketing Company (private limited) and on my insistence, we have subscribed to PRI Lines, Wi-fi broadband connections in our office…in fact, we have subscribed for 24 PRI Lines (as part of our contact centre investment).

What I have been meted out with in the name of customer service is uphauling, least to say. And it is disturbing since the entire issue is completely baseless and born out of the billing department's inefficiency and ineptness to track and maintain desirable levels of service.

                                  The issue – the broadband connection at my home ([protected]_kk) was applied in my spouse's name (Mrs. Binitha Shajesh). We moved our house in December '12 and I promptly informed Airtel customer care to disconnect the line (The connection is inactive for the last 7 months). I received multiple calls from your team and was asked to hold on to the connection…since I was promised a re-location (wi-fi broadband…I even contemplated taking a 4G LTE). This whole episode took more than a month…and when I eventually realised that Airtel does not have connectivity in my new location…I wrote formal mails to Airtel Customer Care to disconnect the broadband number. The last possible bill (dated February '12) was also paid.

                                  We started receiving annoying, threatening calls starting March…and we repeatedly informed that the line is disconnected and we are not liable to pay. We kept insisting to be not bothered…but the calls continued. The last mail (received last Friday - 12th July) was again a threat of legal action sent to my wife's email ID for a case that we thought is long buried and forgotten.

                                  I have been a staunch supporter of Airtel…inspite of repeated influences from your competition and constant recommendations from peers to switch to other service providers. But with this episode, I am inclined to seriously consider a switch over and get onto a social overdrive against Airtel services. This whole episode has caused enough and more heartburn…and I am very clear that I will close the case only after taking it up with Consumer Forums and the social media (should also highlight I run a digital strategy and marketing company…and have a voice of repute on social media with my regular blogs and community engagements).

                                  Will await your response to this complaint…and seriously look forward to Airtel sorting this disconnect. For starts, I am keen to stop these unnecessary and unwarranted follow-ups (I got a call today evening too..presuming from your collection agency - the tone was "Are you paying the bill...?"....I said "No"..."Ok...then face consequences")

                                  This is to inform you that I was requested to activate mobile office (gprs) dated on 8/11/09 from own cell who's prepaid mobile connection which no. is [protected] and my balance was deducted at the time Rs 500.00 from my phone account. And after five minutes a airtel sales person was visited at my house and he told me that you purchase broadband service which is better than mobile office. Such as i told him that i have requested to activate mobile office and my balance have deducted. so this si not possible to purchase for me because a single simple person only can use a service like mobile office or broadband service. Thus he promised me that whatever your balances have deducted from your mobile account that will have refund in your account as per commitment by airtel sales person and that time he requested from my cell to deactivate for mobile office, which name is Mr. Sandeep and contact no. is [protected]. you can also discuss with him. And told me that broad band installation charges is totaly Rs. 750.00 only.Such as i were given 750.00 to him on that time. Then our broad service was installed after this whatever bill has come those are very wrong billed and yet whatever was deducted 500.00 form my cell that also have not refunded still now. So request you kindly refund my balance then I will deposit your broadband bill.

                                  We requested for broad band connection in the name of "Mayank Kandpal" and application N0. "201967" on date 31st Dec 2010. A guy came at our door took the documents, Passport photo copy, house rental agreement and took Rs.560/- He assured to get connection by 2 days.. After a week we didn't hear anything, then we tried to call a technical manage in our area whose name is "Manjunath" and his contact number is "[protected]" .first two three times he was not even picking up my phone and whee he picked up my phone he told me the he is coming on 5th Jan 2011 . On that day he didn'n come .After 7 days after we applied for the connection he is telling us that we can not provide u connection.Still i know that you guys are also not going to take any action against him Because Airtel Sucks Big Time . And if you will not take any action regarding this complain i will go to Consumer Court against you guys .and also i will post this mail on social sites ,forums . And i have recorded all the conversation between that guy and us in that he was promising us to provide connection in 2 days. So it's your choice what do you guys want me do now.

                                  Airtel — Serious issues with Broadband billing

                                  I have been facing serious issues with Airtel Broadband Billing

                                  In the month of August I got message on 27th that my 80% of my 3GB is consumed even though I hardly use my broadband. The bill was Rs. 1041
                                  In the month of September I got the message on 25th that my 80% is consumed and switched off my broadband. The bill was Rs. 1861!
                                  This month I have got the message on 13th October that my 80% is consumed. I switched on my wireless modem only on 8th of October and I have hardly used my broadband in last 5 days!

                                  When I see the bill I see that a download happening at 1 hour interval. I had sent a complaint to Airtel but no investigation has been done so far!

                                  Who can do the investigation on this issue?

She introduced herself as she is calling from Teeshazzari court Delhi and informed me to deposit Rs 1657 to Airtel otherwise you will be arrested under fraud n 420 case. I asked her for more details but she given me another num ([protected] priya chauhan) to get more details. Then I talked to her and came to know that a number [protected] was issued by my name and his bill is due till today.
                                    I am getting continuously threatening calls from miss Anjali sharma [protected].
                                    please intervene in this matter and help me.
                                    The billing address of that number is not my personal. Also the notices from Airtel were used going on other address which is not my.
                                    On the same day i visited to airtel customer care center and discussed the matter but they dint entertain me and advised me to talk Mr Somendra who is in Legal dept in Airtel. Then i talked to Mr somendra for the same concern, he asked me the numbers from which I was getting threatening calls but nothing happen. Still i am getting threatening calls from Miss Anjali sharma [protected].

                                    My concern is that why big corporate companies harassing innocent citizens in a democratic country?
                                    Why telecom companies (Airtel ) issuing postpaid nums without verifying the person and his address?
                                    What should a normal citizen do in this situation?
                                    These type of negligence can lead to terrorism activities also.

                                    This is to inform that i have bffeen haresseed daily by phone calls for not paying my dues inspite me dropping my cheque for the amount of Rs1282.00 in drop box.If your Cheque collectors dont collect in time and send it in time it is not my problem,though i have been paying regularly for the past ten years without any problems.It high time your people keep a check on these hoodlums who give threatening calls to genunie customers or i have to take legel action.Kindly take action at eariest and save the prestiage of your company.

                                    AirTel — Harassament

                                    Airtel staff informed exceeding credit limit (?) and demanded the payment within 24 hours!! When I tried to explain that exceeding limit is better business for AirTel and suggested that Airtel must provide at least 2-3 days for payment, it fell on deaf ears!!!
                                    Even then went ahead and paid the bill thru my bank a/c Bill transfer, the disconnection threat came from Airtel thru SMS. When contacted Airtel (ref[protected],[protected],[protected], the team member & Supervisor were rude and continued to preach and repeat the threats.
                                    How can Airtel be so stupid to refuse more business as well as have rude and arrogant team members and supervisors 'helping' (harassing?) consumers? Do I have any consumer protection against this thuggery and harassments?

                                    Airtel Postpaid — Harassment by Airtel

                                    I was using Airtel postpaid Mob #[protected] since June 2006 in Delhi. The network in North India is good. In April 2008, I shifted to Pune on company transfer and preferred using the same no. despite being in roaming coz I was already using it and didn't want to change it.

                                    But in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra, the network coverage of Airtel is pathetic. At home and office, I would suddenly lose network. Whiel ravelling back home in Cab, I would be talking on phone and the calls will cut off all of a sudden coz of network not available. This will happen many times after every 4-5 mins and sometimes every 2 mins. As I would be normally calling STD no.'s, it was costing me more calls as well as inflating my monthly mobile bill. Despite many complaints made on customer care and even to Airtel offices in Pune twice, there was never a reply back. They would just say that it was Delhi no. and the problem could be in Delhi despite knowing their network situation in Maharashtra. Once even their customer care executives in Aundh office misbehaved coz I was asking them why their was no follow up on my complaints.
                                    Whne after 6-7 complaints spread over 2-3 months didn't yield any result, I held back some around Rs. 400 of billing amount which I felt was getting inflated every month. My question to Airtel guys was who is answerable for my money which i was losing coz of their problems but they would just had no reply and started asking me to pay the rest of the amount.

                                    Before my next bill was generated, they started calling me for paying the last month's left over amount. When I would ask them about no rectification from their side on my complaints, they won't listen and ultimately they disconnected my no. .

                                    Now, after around 2 months, some of their recovery agents are trying to call and harass me and name one Advocate S.K. Rathore suggesting to call him.

                                    In all these more than 2 years tenure, I had paid them every single bill. But why should I pay them now if they don't care abt' their customers problems?

                                    Hi,

                                    This is with reference to my number [protected].

                                    I hat a had a bill of Rs 600 for the
                                    month of Dec 2008, for which I made the cheque payment well? before the
                                    due time . But as it turns out that there was something wrong with my
                                    cheque and the payment couldn't be processed.

                                    Since then I have been continuously being harassed by the calls from the
                                    collection team. I have made it very clear to them more than one time that
                                    they should return back my cheque of Rs 600 so I can order another cheque
                                    of that amount. BUT DESPITE REPEATED PROMISES THIS HAS FALLEN IN DEAF EARS.
                                    It has been a month and I haven't got the cheque back and instead have been
                                    getting calls and msgs everyday for payment.

                                    how can they expect me TO ISSUE YOU 2 CHEQUES OF THE SAME PAYMENT.
                                    I will only issue another cheque only once I have the old cheque back. This
                                    is just simple logic

                                    It has been a harrowing experience to receive the calls from thier team.
                                    I have been regular with all my payments and 600 is a very
                                    small amount for me to default on.I have already made the
                                    payment of Rs 812 for January 2009.

                                    AND NOW THEY HAVE EVEN DISCONNECTED MY PHONE.

                                    THIS IS CRAZY..FIRST THEY HAVENT SEND ME BACK MY CHEQUE. I HAVE MADE ALL THE DAMN PAYMENT AND NOW THEY DISCONNECT MY PHONE. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE OF MY LIFE. IT IS A PITY THAT A COMPANY LIKE AIRTEL HAS NO MORAL AND ETHICS AND ARE TROUBLIN THE CUSTOMERS FOR THIER OWN FAULTS.!

                                    none of the customer care numbers are available and you can never connect to them Airtel has given me the worst experience of my life and if this isnt redressed

                                    Airtel Post-Paid telephone Service — Harassment from Airtel Post-Paid Telephone Service

                                    I had taken Airtel post paid connection with the offer by virtue of which the STD calls were to charge 1 Rs/min. The billing and all were fine till I kept the phone in safe custody for duration of 6 months. The first trouble I faced was when I asked to end the custody and activate the number. I was paid the number is no more available, even when I had paid the custody amount well in advance. After a lot of struggle and email to 121 email id and ccare email id (this id is supposed to be chairman's email id), the phone got activated after around 15 days from the first request.

                                    But they just activated the number, the rest of the bill plan was not activated. Since then I'm getting charged 1.5 Rs/Min. I submitted the complaint to them 1.5 months back and asked for the correction. Even after the complaint the corrections are not made and they have sent me 2 bills which the same mistake. Besides they sent one of the bill on the evening of the due date for the bill, that too when I called them up stating that my usual phone bill due date is today and I have not yet received the bill. On phone I was told that the bill will arrive by the evening. And since its fault of Airtel, the due date will be extended. But when I receive the bill nothing of this sort was done. I had paid the first erroneous bill without checking the details. From the second bill onwards, in my communication to Airtel I had mentioned that I will not be paying the bills unless they send me corrected bills and deposit back the extra amount I paid on the first bill.

                                    I have communicated to them over the email and phone n number of time but all in vain. I also emailed nodal officer email id and tried calling the nodal officer (Karnataka) number. But the phone is never picked and the nodal officer never replied. This raises the basic doubt of existence of nodal office. There is no response from ccare email id also.

                                    Instead of correcting the bills, Airtel did try to give me few discounts which don't even come to 1/2 of the extra amount that Airtel has been charging me. No corrections to the bills are made after explicitly mentioning that I don’t wish to get any discounts and no payments will be done unless corrections to the bills are made. To my surprise, instead of resolving the issue, Airtel blocked the outgoing call from my phone a week back and incoming call to the phone yesterday. There non-efficient staff calls me almost every alternate day from last 1.5 months asking for payment or reason why I wish to terminate the service even when I didn’t ask for termination instead of resolving the discrepancy in the bill and sending me the corrected bill. The whole this has caused and is still causing mental harassment for us.

                                    Airtel Postpaid — Harrasment for new cheques

                                    I had deposited a cheque no 105947 drawn on corporation bank dated[protected]
                                    at airtel collection centre in nerul Sector 21 Navi Mumbai for the amount Rs 1534 towards the august payment.
                                    This cheque had never been deposited in the bank and I am being harassed by your call centre to issue another cheque or pay cash claiming the date is invalid without even depositing this cheque .
                                    I have enquired with the bank and they claim no cheque of mine has ever been returned
                                    my cheque for any irregularities in date.
                                    How do I ascertain wheather the cheque is getting misplaced and invalid date is an excuse to extract
                                    cash payment as airtel has refused to return my earlier cheque which they claim has ab invalid date.

                                    I am worried that this is a second occurrence and in spite of my written complaint in the earlier incident on 23’rd June 2008 no action was taken and why should any one not misuse the earlier cheques as your office has refused to return my original cheques supposed to have invalid dates.
                                    It is prominent and very obvious that my cheques on both the occasions cannot have invalid date and on close examination you might notice that as I have demanded the original cheques they might be qveritten with new ink to look invalid to justify sirtels stand.

                                    I have requested airtel on both the ocassion to trace the person or outsourcing centre who have no proper collection mechanism and in tiurn force the customer to pay in cash or threaten with disconnection if cash is not paid..

                                    After repeated appeals and requests on email there is no ersponse from airtel and i had gone all rthe way to vashi Gallery to deliver a handwritten complaint on 19-09-09 but the employee Mr Anup Penkuntla/Denkuntla had refused to accept any letters as a policy decision but he has also refused to give in writing that not accepting letters is a policy decision of airtel.

                                    To date I have not received the original cheque which they claim is invalid and I have settled the amount in cash as I am left with no option to confront this rudeness and arrogance.

                                    please guide me for the course of action as any positive response from airtel in this matter is out of
                                    question.

                                    A small request to initiate action against employees for claiming my xheque is invalid or return
                                    my original cheque has always fallen on deaf ears and this is the same corporate whi claim their services ro be international standard .

                                    Sir,

                                    This is to bring to your notice that I had a post paid connection from airtel in Hyderabad the number for which was [protected]. On 1st September 2009 Airtel cutoff the outgoing from my number telling me that they were not able to verify me on my address. On being told that I was very much present at the address and they could come at the reception to verify me which they declined and asked me to present a fresh address proof which I said is not possible since I would be transferred to Delhi after one month i.e. 1st October. I gave them an option of disconnecting my services and settle the bill for which they again asked me to come to their office. On being reminded that I did not have to come to their office for getting the connection and that the case should be same while terminating the connection. I told them that they can send their executive for payment of bill and connection termination or I will pay the bill even without their executive visiting me provided they agreed to the connection termination but the Airtel people did not agree and my phone remained in the same state for remaining time and ultimately I changed to other phone after reaching delhi. Now airtel is asking me for a payment of some 2500 Rs telling me that the connection still exists in my name. My contention to airtel is that I should be charged only till the date for which outgoing was provided to me i.e. 1st of september or maximum till that billing cycle.
                                    Now airtel is calling all my friends/relatives seeking my cell number although I have willingly provided the same to their two executives in past two weeks and have had a lengthy discussion with them.

                                    The person from their saled department by the name of Naima with cell number [protected] has been calling my friends/relatives and me and threatening in a rude tone. This is causing tension to all of them.

                                    I would request you to kindly look into the matter and stop my harassment. The question is not of 2500 Rupees but of the unjust way with which they want to charge me.

                                      there has been no rectification of the defective service provided by Airtel DTH. My account number is [protected]. I had complaied on 5th July no one got back to us, i had to raise a complain again on 12th july still no one reverted back. Thus raising this complain as there is no service from the DTH rpovider since 5th july 2013.

                                      Airtel DTH — AFTER SERVICE

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      My customer id is [protected]. i bought airtel dth 4 months back, but form the first month i am getting problems.
                                      1.My recharge amount is not transfered in my account and service is blocked, after 3 days they start it.
                                      2.Now for last 7 days again set top box is having some problem and no one is attending. First complain no. is 2423361 Second complain no is 3333736 registered by cutomer care.
                                      3.A massage is recived by AIRTEL DTH that your complain is solved and if you satisfied sent us massage on thier no.
                                      3.Again today (First time in 7 days) thier service engineer is called me said that i will come tomorrow,

                                      i cant understand that i did some mistake to buy this AIRTEL DTH.

                                        I registered a complaint on 6-jul-2013 regarding broadband connection is not working and net is not connecting at all, already its 11 days they didnt care for the complaint and still i am facing the same issue and the customer care executives are not taking care on it to fix the problem soon. they are keep on extending the dates day by day and giving the false explanations daily.                                         AirTel — No action!

                                        I've been trying to convert my Airtel post-paid card to a pre paid one.
                                        I went to an Airtel Gallery and they asked for some activation charges which i paid.
                                        I was told that my pre-paid card will be activated in 48 hours.
                                        They are still sitting on the asses. Its been 4 days.
                                        I cannot believe how lousy the 'customer service' of Airtel is.It should be called Customer Harrassment.
                                        I'm waiting for the number portability to take place, over -priced, and shoddy customer service!!

                                        AirTel — no action on complaint for broadband

                                        my broadband connection not working since 2wks............i placed a complaint on 121 cutomercare no. of airtel.....but no one came.....i agine loadged another complaint...then their executive came & said that internal telephone line is defective....so they will change it to external wiring & he left. since then inspite of complaining again & again no one came for doing external wiring. On complaining online to their email [protected]@airtel.in, they said that comlaint has been resolved, but the problem was still there & no one came still, plz help me & kindly look into this matter. thank u

                                        Bharti Airtel — Non Satisfaction with Service Provider

                                        Respected Sir,
                                        I Biswajit Dey, S/o. Mr. Ganesh Dey is using Airtel Mobile Postpaid Service (Mobile No.- [protected]) for last almost 7 Years with full satisfaction.
                                        My Billing period is from 17th of every month to 16th of next month with Rs.3000/- as credit limit.
                                        In the Billing period from 17-Aug to 16-Sep 2011 my Total Bill was Rs. 2394.36, showing Rs. 4488/- as Value Added Service Usage(Rs. 497/- as SMS Usage & Rs. 3963 as Internet usage in which I already subscribed Rs. 98/- Internet pack in which I get Upto 2 GB free usage). When I talked to the customer care they says that please pay Rs. 800/- and the other amount you can pay after the adjustment.
                                        After few days I get call from Airtel Office that please pay Rs. 1369/-, when I want to know about that amount they says that I used Rs. 497/- as SMS cost, In which I never use SMS more that 5 per day & as per my bill plan I daily get 8 SMS free.
                                        Secondly they says that I used Rs. 3963/- as Internet Usage, as I already subscribed Rs. 98/- SMS pack in which I get Upto 2 GB free download, I contact to customer care they says that I used only 13 Kb for that month.
                                        After so many discussions they agreed to correct the false bill and contact again.
                                        After almost 2 months Airtel Customer Care started calling regularly to pay that Rs. 1369/- as early as possible. In the mean time I approached nearby Airtel Nodal Centre at 6th Mile, Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam, where nobody was ready to handle the problem, at last I talked to Mr. Biswajit Dey branch head, he says he will look into the matter and reply, I m still waiting for his reply.
                                        After few days I rend registered post to Bharti Airtel, New Delhi on[protected]. In the mean time I m paying my bills regularly accept that Rs. 1369/-.
                                        I almost talked to all the customer care executives, Supervisors, Officers, Nodal Officers but I not get any solution regarding that Rs.1369/-
                                        As I m using this connection for last 7 years for business purpose, daily I received calls from Airtel Customer Care & Started creating problems in my business.
                                        I request Airtel Customer Care representatives not to call in working hours, but they don’t bother about that I daily started getting about 10 to 12 calls.
                                        At Last they do not correct the false bill and without informing me they disconnect my outgoing calls on 17-December’2011 as result of which I get so many loses in my personal day to day as well as business.
                                        Due to disconnection of outgoing call I lost a marriage relation of my sister who is going to marry, whom I have to inform in the morning, as well as I faced business loss of about Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
                                        When I call to Customer Care they says that you have not paid Rs. 1369/- pending bill as result of which your outgoing calls was disconnected & after few days your number will be closed.

                                        Sir Please look into the matter.
