Sir,
I am from Tamil Nadu & using airtel prepaid number (TN circle). But in my screen display, the network is has been shown VODAFONE IN/AIRTEL (In Andhra Pradesh). I have checked with another airtel sim in AP. But in that display, it appears AIRTEL. Manually i searched the available networks in my phone & my friend's phone. My friend's phone detects airtel signal whereas in my phone, AIRTE SIGNAL WAS NOT IN THE AVAILABLE NETWORKS LIST. I have interchanged the sim cards & tried again. Still no change. I surprised when i see this. My prepaid balance was deducted so many times without making outgoing calls & sending sms in roaming. I'd been charged for browsing though i had active GPRS in roaming. 121 customer care is not valid in roaming & i called for AP customer care centre. They told me to call TN customer care centre. I have reached TN service centre by +[protected] & I spoke with the customer service representatives for roaming charges in. I had been charged Rs 1.5/min. Airtel customer care was not helping when I go out of station.

Kindly clarify the following:
1. In airtel sim, why does the vodafone IN signal is crossing?
2. Why does the airtel sim is not getting airtel signal?
3. Why does the airtel signal was not appearing in the list of available networks?
4. How to reach TN customer service centre in roaming?

Airtel — Calling problem in roaming.

Sir/mam, i m having problem while i m in roaming. If anyone call me while roaming then somtime they hear voibe that 'this no does't axist'.
And i m also anable to call while roaming..
Plz remove this problem..

    I am a regular prepaid customer of Airtel spending about Rs. 3000 per month on recharges and services. I use an IPhone 5. I always subscribe to the 3G service and usually take an unlimited plan. There is usually 3G available on my telephone number [protected]

    On 17th March 2013 I activated a Rs. 655 unlimited plan which is valid for 30 days. This is confirmed by the company as can be seen in the trailing mails. The service worked well for two days and thereafter from 21st March there has been no 3G service on my number. Initially I thought that it was a location issue but there was no 3G in the whole of Pune!

    Subsequent to making a complaint I keep getting the same standard email reply. I also get calls from the Customer service agents who ask canned irrelevant questions and give me the same standard replies even though the replies were given earlier with no results.

    Lack of service for 7 days on a 30 day plan amounts to a deficiency of 25% and Airtel is not going to extend the service nor refund the advance charge!

    Strangely, I received a call from +[protected] on 29th March inquiring about why there was a drop in my usage! Really!! Once again I got the same canned questions and replies and after reminding them that I use an IPhone they still provide settings and procedures for a normal handset!

    I would like to point out that I had raised a complaint about lack of 3G services in Calangute Goa in December/January as well.

    The company isn't taking this deficiency in service seriously and some action needs to be taken. Accepting and advance payment for a service and not delivering is cheating!

    Airtel — Connectivity and Lack of process

    The fire at Lower Parel has clearly shown that the company has no back up plan and not geared for any emergency. The blackberry service provided is absolutely useless as mojority of time you cannot call "Radio Path Unavailable" is the sessage you get. Connectivity is very poor across the city . Unfortunately I have three Airtel Connections and none of them have proper connectivity. Mcheck launched by the for Bill payment is a faliure as nor the website nor their online system works. To Top it they have tied up with Kingfisher and Amex for their credit card. The co branded card is not accepted on the website or their bill payment centre. It clearly shows how weal their internal process are and external comitment to its consumers is all of very poor quality

      I have purchased a new mobile nokia Lumia 620 on 17.3.2013 with an offer from Airtel of 6gb 3g data free for 3 months. Still offer is not activated on my sim as i have called so many time for this issue on Airtel costumer care.
      As per Airtel "Service request no CBNRA[protected] has been resolved" but it is not resolved yet.

        Sir/madam,
        Im staying in hostel and working in MNC company in chennai. Very recently i took a postpaid connection with numbers [protected], [protected]. Sir the repesentative of airtel who took order for two postpaid connection is MR Iyaappan from airtel. Sir while taking connection this person from dint say anything about any deposit amount. Even while verification of my present hostel address they dint say anything about deposit amount. But, after we started using both postpaid connection we get a call from cusomer service airtel by saying that we need to pay deposit of 400Rs. As we stay in hostel address. But sir, the address proof i have given is MY PASSPORT xerox which is having my permanent address further they have also got my OFFICE ID. Even after this they giving a reason that they dont trust those live in hostel.

        Sir, AIRTEL is saying that an indian passport xerox is not worth for taking mobile connection. I have also raised the complaint on the same with airtel customer care for cheating customer like this and not informing things properly earlier. Further, when i ask customer care they simply say that i should go and ask the person with whome i take mobile connection.

        Sir, while taking connection they came to us and took connection and now they say we should go and ask the person. is it our duty to ask is there a deposit or their duty to inform that we have to pay deposit while we take connection. If they have told we would have informed no need such connection at all.

        Now after we gave all our contacts our new number they are making us to do like this. now they saying if we wish we can disconnect our connection. My reference number on this complaint with airtel F[protected].

        Please take up the issue and give us right direction.

          Respected sir /madam ,
          i have been recharge rs 98/- for airtel net (650 mb )on 20.3.13,but net is active in my numb [protected].yet from that day i did not open the net of the temporally problem persists.it is very very very..slow . when open the net then shows response unknown and packet data connection not available.then a long time net signal is showed and cutted the charges.but net did not opened. Airtel net for doing internet on mobile. For the last month or more i cannot properly surf the net. The problem is that less than 25% web sites can be opened. When i try to open a page a message is shown either reply unknown or no gateway reply. The problem has become so severe that the last 7 days when i used Airtel internet i could not even check my e-mail. Also Airtel has blocked us from using opera mini and other web browsers. I contacted Airtel customer care but the problem remains. Please help me.

          Airtel — customer care & policies

          Airtel customer care is very bad. I have called them to cancel my account and the agent told me that he does not have the permission to cancel it and he needs to forward me to another department which will make me a call back in 4 hrs. I did not get any call within the stipulated SLA. I reminded them one more time after a day's wait and now they gave me another id for future references with the same story. Still i did not get any response from them. I had to call them up again after waiting one more day. Same story awaits. Moreover surprisingly, i was told by the agent that no supervisor was available.

          Finally the concerned department calls me up and says that it is cancelling the account as of today and not the day of submission.

          Funny part is they are charging me for speaking to their customer care and no service was available including their supervisor and the concerned department. The person started giving me gyan of how reputed this airtel company is and when i shared the story, he simply backed out saying that he will take my feedback and put the phone down.

          Not sure if this is the same case when we cancel the mobile service. Such a pathetic situation, hope the awareness of Customer Relationship increases in India.

            This is to inform you that few days ago i had requested for My Number Portability of my three numbers from Airtel to IDEA where after few days i got to know that MNP for all my three numbers : [protected], [protected] and [protected] has been rejected by Airtel without any valid reason.

            When i called Airtel they informed me that the same can not be done because i am using a corporate plan and for MNP i have to change my connections to individual first which was not informed to me before or at the time i had received the call from the retention person of airtel and also when i had joined airtel from vodafone wherein i was also in a corporate plan i was not supposed to do the same.

            I request you to look into the same as Airtel is not concerned about the issues i am facing with the poor services i am getting from them from the very first day.

                sir my self deepak dwivedi, i gifted a lifetime sim of airtel to my father .
                since i use airtel live on 18 june 2009, after that my balance is deducting...

                HI,

                It is a said to say that the facility that the telecommunication providing is not for out benefir but its like a punishment for us that we are using mobiles.

                the companies i do not why deducting the amount as whenever they are in mood when we call to customer service people the say that you had applied for this service.

                why we do apply when we apply we dont know.this happens regurarly as we do have more than balance of Rs 50.and block the number as we call them regulary that why you deduct the amount from the balance.

                Please do the needful As soon as possible.

                I am Using AIRTEL number and they deduct my balance.I am using airtel gprs last 5 to 6 months but today 4 oct,2011 they deduct my balance 44rs. when i called the customer care they said me your charges has deduct for using GPRS. But i recharged my internet pack of 98rs and last date of my pack 6th-oct,2011.Yet i have 10 mb left before deduction.

                I used internet on my pc atleast 10-15 minutes only i opened normal small sites like google,facebook,yahoo and gmail after that when i disconnect the internet, message was show that you have used 50mb and also you have free space of 0.9mb left.

                I want to know that if i used 50mb so how to show 0.9mb left. I tell you one thing i am using internet last 2 years but doesn't happened like this with any company.
                I am using only some small sites and they said me you have used 50mb it is like a joke.It is not POSSIBLE.

                I hardly request you please solve my problem as soon as possible and help me to returned my balance 44rs.

                This is to kindly inform you that, yesterday my wife(shazia) had a call from Airtel Customer Care regarding hellotune plan... they told that there are lot of plan i.e. yearly, half yearly.. and for 3 month etc... but she said No No No and No.. I dont want any such scheme right now... and then suddenly the call was disconnected by them and after few seconds she received a SMS thanks for subscribing for hellotunes... then she called at customer care and told all the things... but representative/operator (Manu) told to her... that, after your go ahead only hellotune is started on your phone... but shazia told that there was no confirmation from my side... and requested to remove my hellotune and refund my account balance. Manu told to her it is impossible... consequently shazia asked to change the hellotune song since it was not good enough to be kept as dialer tone. .. Shazia changed her hellotune song since she felt very helpless because the amount was already deducted and they were not ready to refund. Her mobile number is [protected].

I contacted the retailer and submitted the documents for the second time too. After a week incoming calls were also barred. I submitted the documents again in Airtel office. Still there is no action.

                        Since last month (Feb 2013) I am having very poor mobile network connection in Bellandur, Green Glen layout area of Bangalore - 560103. I have raised this complaint several times to the Airtel mobile service provider, however there are no improvements seen. Airtel people only provided assurance by mentioning that they are about to install a new cell phone tower in this area to as there are no airtel tower available.

                        Also note same complaint was raised by me in Oct 2012 to airtel. That time also they assured to install a new tower to resoleve the issue! But somehow this network issue was resolved in January 2013, however it has deteriorated again.

                        I work in Magarpatta in Pune, Maharastra. I have a very serious problem of having almost no network coverage in my office and its almos a year we have been complaining. But the customer service representative tend to unederplay the inmptortance of our complaints. We all are fed with Airtel. All othet mobile companies have network coverage here.

                        I am staying in BARC Township, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. I have Airtel Post Paid Connection (No. [protected]). I have been using the services of this service provider since last about two years. In the beginning the services were good. The connectivity was excellant. But since last few months (after the fire accident in Lower Parel) the network coverage is very poor. In this connection many complaints were lodged on phone. Inspite of many (false)assurances no action has been taken till date. I am compell to use this connection due to the reason that I have no option to opt the services of other service provider on the same number.The irresponsible attitude of the service provider in this regard is highly objectionable.

                        i am located in bangalore, i have a vodafone post paid connection and there are serious connectivity issues since last 2 months.I do not want the general customer care number, i am looking for the correct person responsible in vodafone to handle this as customer care has been helpless in handling this
                        I do agree that airtekl network coverage is very bad these days. Even some times, when we are trying to call our regular numbers...the resposne would be INVALID NUMBEr...suffereing alot with this kind of service.

                        Airtel Postpaid Mobile — poor net work

                        The services of the network are very poor. Several complaints have been lodged through call centre. No action has been taken so far. I can say AIRTEL IS ONE OF THE MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER WHICH DOES'NT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMERS.

                        Postpaid Connection — no network coverage in the area

                        i have called at 121 several times regarding non coverage of the area i.e sadar bazar . i am not able to receive any of the calls becoz of some network problems. I have talked with your customer care executives several times but no requisite action has been taken till date .I last had communication with your executive on 26/08/08 and was given the complaint no.18066855 with the assurance of reverting back within 24 hours but no action has been taken yet.Please look into this unless i will approach consmer forum.

                        Bharti Airtel — CONNECTION OF MOBILE TO THE INTERNET

                        I HAVE ACTIVATED MY MOBILE OFFICE SERVICE FROM AIRTEL. NOW I WANT TO CONNECT MY PHONE TO COMPUTER FOR THE ACESS TO THE INTERNET. FOR THIS PROCESS I SHOULD GET SETTINGS FROM THE DATA CALL CENTER BUT WHENEVER I TRY TO CALL THE DATA CALL CENTER THEY ARE TELLING THAT I SHOULD FIRST ACTIVATE MY MOBILE OFFICE SERVICE. EVEN IF MY SERVICE IS ACTIVATED THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME ANY RESPONSE. PLEASE TRY TO SOUGHT MY PROBLEM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

                        Airtel Mobile — inadequate connectivity

                        Airtel customer care sucks! I have complained to them about the bad connectivity for our cell phones in our locality on 06/01/09 at 15.44 hours and the reference # given was[protected]. They promised to come back to me two days later and today is the 13th day of February, and they are yet to respond. I have messaged them many number of times about my interest in their broadband connection and they promptly call back to say "we shall get back to you within 48 hours", and that is the end of the story. This has been happening for close to a year now and although we have their famous "blue boxes" in our locality, there is no connection given. They are more like show pieces now to decorate our streets. Either they tell us that they are not able to upgrade the connectivity or give broadband connection and we shall take our accounts to some other service provider who is more effiecient in this area rather than beat about the bush all the time. Will someone up there listen!

                        Airtel India postpaid connection — Network connectivity issues

                        I have a simple issue that was, is and probably would continue to happen.. I'm not getting the proper network in my cellphone in Bangalore, India.

                        My complaint numbers raised in November 2008 are:

                        It is disgusting to realize that airtel has not bothered to rectify these issues from the past 5 Months and after repeatedly calling the airtel customer care, the guys in the customer care put a smile into their voice
                        and tell me that the "technical" team is working on the same.

                        My calls started getting dropped. I thought it might be an one off issue and raised a complaint. No updates et all. I raised another complaint. I get a call from AIRTEL asking me whether "AM I NOW ABLE TO HEAR THEM
                        CLEARLY" and when I answered in the affirmative, the complaint was CLOSED! WTF?

                        From the past 3 days, I have been in touch with the customer care almost 18 times. Spoke to a couple of executives, got my call escalated to a floor manager, Mr. Azharuddin. He asked me to check my simcard in a different cellphone or get a duplicate simcard. I was told the same by another floor manager Ms. Poorna. No bloody change in the status. I paid 75/- and got a duplicate sim card putting in all my genuine trust in these people and thinking that my issue will be solved.

                        I was also advised by the customer care center, here in Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore to check the issue with a different cellphone to find out if the issue was with my cellphone. The issue was not with my cellphone.

                        I had a call again with another floor manager after trying 4 times to reach airtel's toll free helpline 121. Whenever the call got connected, it used to get dropped. Though the same was noted by the customer care executives, none of them were actually realizing that the calls getting dropped was my concern. Talk about BEING DUMB HERE!!!

                        This floor manager, Mr. Sathish, who handled my last call, is cool enough to tell me that the issue has been "recognized" and he assures me that it would be solved definitely by April End. If that is the case, I have just a
                        few questions to ask:

                        WHY THE BLOODY HELL WAS THIS NOT INFORMED TO ME EARLIER?
                        WHY WAS I MADE TO GET A DUPLICATE SIMCARD?

                        UPDATE: I get a mail from their customer care center, which asks me to furnish all the details again, the same details which I have been furnishing to their call center executives. The best / worst / dumbest part is that this customer care executive who has mailed me has got my cellphone number wrong.. HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND MY EMAIL!!!

                        AirTel — Poor Network coverage, poor customer service

                        I have been using Airtel post paid connection from past 3 years. Over the years the service has degraded to an extent where calls drop, I am unable to make calls, weak and poor signals all within city limits. After complaining, many a times my ticket was closed without prior intimation or settling the complaint and after complaining again I was told that there were facing some challenges since the power shortage / fluctuation due to which the base stations were down ( around september last year). But even now it is the same there are places within Bangalore City limits where there is a disruption or no service. And they are still working to fix the problem!

                        Customer service is pathetic and there is no set process or guidelines for services, subscription, etc. The website is outdated, customer care executives @ the call center have different divergent views, folks at Relationship Centers again do not have the right or updated knowledge too, you have to check and cross check and if that person be it @ the call center or the relationship center is not there next time you get in touch with them, then you are in for trouble because you will be told a whole new process!

                        I am just waiting for the phone number portability to be introduced and then I can choose my network.

                        I don't think this will be of any use but helps in releasing the frustration I have had to endure and I am sure there are others who are dissatisfied or let down by a company like Airtel which makes loud promises about unbreakable bonds unmatched network. Well the network sure is bad and they are breaking bonds with the same people who have got Airtel the position they are in now.

                        I have not recieved my Post Paid Bill from Bharti AirTel from last 1 Year. I have already launch a complaint with Bharti AirTel. They had closed all the complaints without knowledge of me & when I call back Customer Support Person they informed that "Sir, due to upgradation we are unable to see your details. Request you to please call after 48 Hours." After 48 Hours callback they replied the same.

                        Though I have cleared my all dues by Feb 2009 I have suffered a lot in terms of Mental Harrasment. So I called up the senior person Mr. Abbas on his personal Cell Number & he assured me that you will be recieving the bill in next 48 Hours & still I have not recieved the bill even after 15 Days after speaking with Mr. Abbas.

                        Now I have decided not to pay any Outstanding Amounts & will file a case against Bharti AirTel for Mental Harrasment.

                        Please assist me in the above case scenario.

                        I'm airtel subscriber and would like to change mobile subscriber to idea.

                        On 24th January I have submitted MNP form and necessary documents given to idea. The request rejected by airtel without any reason. When I called airtel support they said that I have outstanding bill of 196.00 rs. The billing cycle is on 27th every month. I have paid deposit Rs.300 to airtel when I bought this connection.

                        Now I have resubmitted request again on 14th February and hoping to get it done before my next bill cycle starts. Airtel is really sucking and begging for customer.
                        I have 20+ person who are facing same problem and airtel is not allowing their customer to go away. They will not provide you proper service when you are with them and will not allow you to go easily. Really system airtel have.

                        Please help me how to get read of airtel and retain my number as well.

                        I was visited by AIRTEL executives with postpaid plan proposals ! they convinced me to get 2 connections and hacked 2 cheques of Rs 30o each as deposit and gave me simcard. i was given mobile number by AIRTEL. the numbers are[protected] and[protected]. but TILL TODAY THEY HAVE NOT ACTIVATED THESE NUMBERS! . they got 300 each as deposit from me and never bothered to activate my numbers. When i called customer care they said that i am not their customer ! one higher executive got my complaint registered but never bothered to take any action, I have that complaint number let them contact me NOW or i am going to sue them for deficienc=y in services . I hop this will solve my problem so that i need not go and take more trouble.

                            I have got highly obnoxious response from airtel customer side, it is highly unsatisfactory as well as irresponsible response by their side.they directly refused me to provide my sim without any inquiry of my concern and . however i have strong proof of that this sim belongs to me such as i have envelope of lost sim as well as i was the customer of reliance for three year for same number.

                              Its been 3 months since repeatedly again and again money is being deducted from mobile no. [protected](prepaid).Type of deduction is 1 re per day or 3 rupees at atime .once 15 rupees were deducted for some hello tune download.On calling airtel customer care, they you have activated some xyz service and thats why balance is being deducted.Actulally we never activated any service still this kind of blunders happens, They also committed to return the money to the account but that also never happened .please take necessary action.

                              Without any intimation the plan has been changed from 150 free sms per day to 100 free sos per day, and according to the previous plan after the 150 free sms per day it was it charges 10paisa per sms and now after 100 sms its charging 1 rupee per sms. in the similar way i hav been deducted 18 rupees. After all these if i try to complain to the customer care they have blocked the calls to customer care without intimation and any reasons. This is my number [protected].

                                  My problem is my Postpaid connection is yet to get activated. I do not get the signals on the SIM CARD when I use it inn any mobile.
                                  I tried contacting CUSTOMER CARE innumerable number of time but everything has gone vain.

                                    I tried to recharge my airtel prepaid mobile for Rs. 200 (Karnataka circle) from the airtel official recharge site on 18th Feb '13 but it never went through. The money was deducted from my Axis bank account then and there. The message which I received after the payment was made from my account was: "Your airtel mobile [protected] online recharge txn ID 206974 of Rs 200 has been initiated. Please keep the txn id for future reference." I logged a case with airtel the next day when the amount didn't get recharged to my phone. I was told that I'd get my money back within 4 working days, it'd be credited to my account. I called for a follow-up after 4-5 days when I didn't get the money but was told again that airtel had made a refund request to Axis Bank and I'd get the money soon. 3-4 days passed by again but I didn't get the money. The last call I made was on 2nd March when the customer service executive had to transfer the call to her supervisor as I got agitated, her name was Chinmayi. She, to my surprise, told me that the money was never debited from my account in the first place at which point I completely lost my temper. There's still no refund made from Airtel and my case must have been surely closed as "Resolved" in their internal tracker. Here's a few reference numbers from airtel: CONRC[protected], CONRC[protected], CONRC[protected]. Really hope you can help me here.

                                      bharti airtel ltd — request for outgoing caller list

                                      Dear sir / madame ,

                                      I am holding an Air-tel prepaid mobile connection ( [protected] ) under my name . i have called 198 from my AIR-TEL mobile and requested for an outgoing caller numbers list from my mobile connection for the month of January 2011 on 22/06/11 at 11.35 am , instead the customer care agent told me to send a message to 121 requesting for it and i will be charged Rs.50 from my mobile and will get my outgoing list through postal in 7 days time.
                                      I did sent a text message to 121 ( in this format " PPERBILL JANUARY 9/495-B,SIDCONAGAR,VILLIVAKKAM,CHENNAI-49." , as per the customer service agent instruction ) on 22/06/11 at 11:40 am.
                                      I did received an acknowledgement text message from customer care
                                      ( 121 ) on 22/06/11 at 11:41am saying that they have received my request with my reference request I.D. : 180307.
                                      Then at 12:06 pm on the same day i received a text message from 122
                                      ( Air-tel ) saying that requested bill has been generated and will be dispatched to me with in next 48 hrs ( i.e., by 24/06/11 ) and Rs.50 was deducted from my prepaid mobile at the same time.
                                      When i follow up my request with customer service agent ( 198 )on 25/06/11 i was told that it will take 7 days as i was instructed at the first time, and when i inquired about that text message from AIR-TEL saying that it will be delivered to me with in two days . The customer service agent refused to answer and told me it will take 7 days time. I waited till 7th day which is 29/06/11 and called 198 at 09:17 pm and spoken to Ramakrishnan , he informed me that the request dispatch time is 7 working days and not 7 days , which is 01/07/11.
                                      I have spoken to Customer service Supervisor Ms. Hema on 02/07/11 with regards to my whole scenario , she informed me that she is taking a complain on it and some one from AIR-TEL will be calling me soon, but nothing happened .
                                      I called 198 again on 02/07/11 at 12:00 noon and spoken with Aswini and she gave me the complaint number ( RIBIL [protected] ) and she did promised me that i will receive a call from AIR-TEL with regards to my complain, but so far no one called me.
                                      I hope you understand the whole scenario. I believe that you truly understand my situation by just following the information which is given to me by AIR-TEL customer service agents and i do have the text messages sent from AIR-TEL as a proof. I kindly request you to take necessary actions required to issue my "outgoing callers number list for the month of January" ASAP.
                                      Awaiting for your earliest reply and a solution for my issue.

                                        I am having a postpaid Airtel connection number [protected]. I hardly use this connection,but I got a bill of Rs.1080. This included Rs.904 towards data charges for which the bill contains no break up.

                                        I called the Airtel customer care twice today. I got a complaint number 49584166. They assured me that someone from the technical team will call me within 2 hours. Since there was no call for more than 3 hours, I repeated a call to them. This time, some other call centre executive came on line and continued the usual verification process and then assured that within a few minutes someone will call me. This again was a false statement. None has called me so far.

                                        The irony of the matter is, if we call 121 and have to talk to an executive, the call will be charged at 60 paise per two minutes. This is an unfair practice.

                                        I am not interested in continuing my connection with Airtel. Please get this terminated immediately.

                                        Bharti Cellular Limited — Termination of Airtel post paid

                                        I want to terminate my Airtel Post Paid service and tried to do so by calling to the customer care of Airtel on [protected] several times.

                                        The customer care representative instead of terminating the service, first asked me many questions why i want to terminate. I answered them. Then he said he is transferring my call to another department saying they will terminates the service and no one responded on that number. Then the call got disconnected.

                                        After that I called the customer care twice and as soon as mentioned that I want to terminate the service to the customer care executive, my call was cut.

                                        Later on, my calls were not at all transferred to the customer care executive at all.

                                        This is ridiculous. My billing cycle is from 25th of every month and today is 24th. So it looks like these airtel folks will ask me to pay the fixed rental (599 Rs) for the next billing cycle as well by not taking my request to terminate the service today i.e on 24th March.

                                        I would like to black list airtel if they do something cheap like this.

                                        AirTel — Connection termination

                                        Hi,

                                        I had submitted the connection termination application for my airtel number ([protected]) in the month of March' 08 and has also paid the outstanding amount at the same time...but sorry to say nobody has yet taken any action on it and I am continously getting the bill every month. Infact a month ago I have also received one legal notice for making the payment. I went to the Airtel shop (Meerut - Nai sarak) along with all the documents and proofs and asked them why you are sending me the bill regugarly when I have already submitted the termination application and paid all the money...they checked thier records and apologies for the mistake and said that you will not get any bill from now and connection will get terminated within 24 hours...but still the situation is same even though I have written a mail to Nodal office and senior officer...but didnt get any reply from that...request you to help me here.

                                        On November 9th at 11:31 PM iI received a massage informing that I have been charged for Hello tune activation.
                                        Today when I compaint about the same in custommer care they tell me that you have pressed '*' and '9" buttons on your keypad when a promotional call for Hellotune from company. But I hasd not received such a call even. Also my call log dosent show it.

                                        The company charged me for the offer without my permission .

                                        I hope you will help me for taking refund from the company.

                                        This service provider has cheated me second time such a way.

                                        Dear Madam / Sir,

                                        My mobile number [protected] (which i have been using from almost 6 years) got disconnected without any valid reason. When i called customer care they informed me that the sim was not in use for 2 months and that is the reason for disconnection. But i have not kept the sim idle. The sim's validity was not over and i use to make calls using the same sim. I use to recharge and had made calls just days before disconnection and I can submit proofs for the same.

                                        Please help me out to restore my connection.

                                        NB:It is disappointing that Airtel customer care was not ready even to register a complaint when requested.
