I had availed additional Airtel connection number bearing [protected] and discontinued it on Sep 2012. During sharing the consent of discontinuing the connection , I got lot calls of from Airtel Executive to continue the connection which I didn’t agreed as connection was used by my mother and she moved back to her native. I was told a representative will come at my place to collect the SIM and the last cheque. Your representative had come at my place took the SIM and Cheque. And when I asked weather I need to break the SIM , he told me that it is not required as this SIM will be used for new connection. However handing over my SIM,any normal person would believe that his part is done and least he can trust Airtel representative.I was done for good.

After 7 seven months few people started calling me stating that, this connection is still active and registered in your name and bill account to 3808.54 is pending from my side. To my surprise I told them that I had discontinued this connection 7 months back and why they are calling me for this. I tried to explain them every time and even gave them the cheque number of ICICI 10433 through which payment was done. They were not ready to listen to me and every time keep on calling till this date. The height of the incident happen when I got a call from number [protected], the man pretended to be from courier company took my residential address and official address . When I was in office this guy called again and stated ABUSING ME IN FRONT OF MY OFFICE. This unethical behavior was not required. He even went on threating for dire consequences and the person was from Airtel legal department. Has Airtel gone such a low level , I mean why would i do the fraud for meerly 3808 rs. Is it permenant nexus in AirTel to cheat people in this manner. Why don't they check the call from sep 2012 onwards and see the nature of calls.they have all the records alvailable there and they can easily nail the person but the only thing that lags is the intent. they intent to cheat people and that is what they are doing.They can check all the call records and call recording made to the customer care.

meanwhile i called up Airtel customer care to discontinue the connection. it been now one month passed, i have tried mailing to appllete office, customer care but of no avail. what i and surprised to see is that how my information ,my name was missused .It runs shewers to my spine.




You can check the call details from sep ahead when I was not using the connection and before,when I was using the connection . you can check most calls were made in Karnataka, and my mother tongue been Kashmiri will have no relevance to calls made after sep. using this you can nail the real culprit and put an end to it, once for all.

SFG — Misuse of airtel phone number

My name is Binoy. This is the complaint against two airtel numbers [protected] and [protected] from Delhi, India. Actually i got a call from these numbers from one Mr.Akash regarding a plan in idea cellular, the plan was like, i will get 1000 free local calls and sms and 100 free STD calls on every month for 6 months if i pay 500 Rs. He send some representative to me and i gave money for my 2 numbers for same plan (1000/- Rs). But even after 1 week there were no response. i called them many times and told the thing and now he is not picking up my call or taking my call and disconnection it or keep it on hold. Please help me to get my money back or activate this facility in my mobile number.

AirTel — Discontinuation is not made

Ihad availed Free /trial mobile banking facility to obtain My Bank Balance. Now I do not want to continue the same.
Even After my repeated SMS to Nos: 5676782 and [protected] as per thier SMS they are not stopping the same and charging me wrongly.

Please advise to concern about stoppage of this facility on my Mobile NO:[protected].

I do not want bank balance on my mobile.

Airtel — Misuse of Phone.

HI,

I was having airtel connection in Delhi bearing number [protected], I got shifted to Chennai. There I got a call from Airtel that do you want to continue the annual rental scheme. I said I would like to continue but kindly shift my number to Chennai. Person from Airtel said that She has taken the request for shifting the phone to Chennai. The next day My phone was temporarily suspended although till that day I have paid all my dues on that number, and after 20 days from that day I got a call from Airtel that I have outstanding bill on that number for Rs. 46000. I enquired in customer care where they confirmed the outstanding amount and said that one call has been made after my phone got temporarily suspended which is of that amount of 46000/- It was an ISD number with 40/- Rs. per min charges. I dont know the sim was with me as how this has happenend. Kindly suggest what I shall do on this.

Airtel — Misuse of customer contact details by Airtel Executive

I received Bad SMS from a number yesterday[protected] and when I tried to check who is he. He told his name is Madan and he is working in Airtel customer care and he also told that he got my contact number when I called airtel for some query. I called to Airtel customer care yesterday (2nd November 2010) to lodge an complaint against him but I dint get the proper response.


Is this the way airtel is working? and the executive is misusing customers contact details? Please let me know whether the person who has messaged me is really working in airtel or just misusing Airtel's brand name?

sorry to say but i have tried all the channels including sending mail to 'sanjay.[protected]@in.airtel.com'; '[protected]@in.airtel.com'; 'saurabh1.[protected]@in.airtel.com'; '[protected]@trai.gov.in'; 'appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com'; '[protected]@airtel.in'; '[protected]@in.airtel.com' NONE of these are helpfull and they don't respond. i got a call from one lady with number bearing [protected]. i had to explain the whole issue again to her. I had posted my issue on facebook and i got the call from pramod . again i had to explain the whole issue again. so i think i should put it in brief here again.

1: My SIM was misused by Airtel Person for past six months and i was told to bear the expenses by their goons who visited my office.

2: I had Surrendered my connection of sep 2012, which included Surrendered my SIM and Cheque. to the airtel person who visited my place.

3: on march 2013 i am getting call to pay bill . i.e i am getting call from airtel after six months. prior to that i didn't got any call from airtel for payment of bill. was airtel gone into hibernation .

4: Person who was using my SIM had hold of my personal information, i.e dateof birth and etc. becuase there were calls made to @121. customer care doesn't entertain the calls unless personal information is not verfied. It is obivious that person was from Airtel.

5: had my SIM been used for antisoicial causes, i would have been sitting in jail right now.

For All these above Airtel is prime responsible and the least they can do is to nail that person who was using my SIM and confirm be back.

    Dear Sir,
    I have been using my mobile no.[protected] from 2007.But the Airtel Company wrongly updated my name and address ie., they updated someone`s name and address on my number. As my number is much more valuable to me i cannot throw it away. I have submitted the my address proof along with the Airtel Prepaid Enrollment form many times in my district.And also i have raised my complaint with the nodal team and also submitted the documents in Begumpet Airtel Head Office too. Some nodal team members told to submit address proof along with photo id and some told they cant do anything. I really fed up with this an told them to do physical verification of regarding who is using that number..No one are replying properly. Till now i feel Airtel is the Best Service Provider but disappointed alot in my case.

      I had a 5 years Dolphine prepaid connection that was ported to Idea past 1 year Before and after that i was use MNP for airtel on 23 Nov 2012 and finally my no start with airtel connection and on 27 Dec 2012 my no was permanently Disconnect for negative adress verification. I submitted all the necessary documents. On 25 Dec my number got deactivated due to Failed Address verification of the documents as said by the Airtel outlet official's. I submitted the documents again but nothing was done in this regard, they once again told me for the submission of the documents. I submitted my documents thrice at the Airtel outel. After so much of hustle my number got deactivated now, on 27 Dec my number got permanently disconnected and when I spoke to a Nodal officer and Appellet officer, he told me it was due to Failed Address verification. But according to the Airtel outlet, they have forwarded all my documents to the desired Airtel authority. I have also spoke with the officials at the Airtel Appellate office but in vain. None helped me out. I'm suffering a lot becauses of this unnecessary harassment. I hope you will look into this and make the best out of this.

        For getting aitel dth new connection I have bluffed on 28th March. For enquiry purpose i had given my mobile number in airtel.in. there they mentioned “for new connection give contact number so the airtel or airtel partners will contact you” like this. I received a call from [protected] and saying that we will give new connection in 2 days. for the payment purpose i got a mail from mail id “buy.[protected]@in.airtel.com” like this

        Disclaimer:

        At the payment time it showed request declined at last. so i processed with some other account even that time also showed request declined. when i check my both time its deducted, totally 5K loss to me. the airtel has to find these bluffed . after process done i got the call from [protected](Mentioned above) and said we received your amount , so i asked about my two times deduction. He said it will refund in two days. but it dint refund yet and dint get any information about my new connection yet.

        Even airtel also commiting some fraud otherwise how my number went to bluffers when i registerd in airtel.in.

        Airtel has to find the bluffers and return my amount soon. Its complete airtel fault.

        Guys dont register ur things in airtel.in
        Airtel has to refund me Rs. 4980

        i got the refund.

        AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Not returning the money for your online transaction when you want to cancel the order because Airtel does not install the digital TV

        I purchased a Airtel Digital TV online and at that time they committed that installation will be done in 48 hours but even after 96 hours it does not happen and when I request them to give my money back they are not confirming anything on it.

        Governement should not allow such fake buisness and cancel the license of Airtel digital TV.

        Thanks.
        After having so many complaints again Airtel Digital TV why government is not taking any action.

        after my payment they will not come for installation from 3 days i had call so many time in customer care they dnt give me procedure for refund even and said that will send the person for the installation i really bag that please give my money back atleast

        Hi Kalyan,

        Don't expect anything from these frauds. Same thing happened to me as well.
        I am not very surprised with this cyber fraud. But I shame myself to be a victim of such fraud. Now I know I'll not get my money back. So I am not going to wast my time to write emails and make call to these frauds. I am writing here so I could save other people to get trapped.

          Activation not yet done(even after 16 hours)

          I am staying in Jeevan Beema Nagar. I had applied for the Airtel DTH on 28-Mar-2013 in the night through online payment with 2 months free subscription(Rest of India -Rs295/- Pack).They had come to install the Airtel DTH on 29-Mar-2013 around 6:00PM in the afternoon. They had installed and told me that activation will take around 30 minutes. Around 9:30PM when we came back, the Airtel DTH was still not activated. I called up and asked why...

          Hi,

          I have recharged my DTH account (no- [protected]) with Rs 410 on 18th Mar using my credit card and after recharge, I could see my account with Rs 412 and per offer, additional Rs 20 should have been added to my account within 2 days.

          However, to my surprise, the TV displayed " This account is suspended due to Negative balances" on the very next day. This lead me to think that the Credit card company might have not settled the payment to Airtel. I called up my credit card bank after couple of days and found that the payment was acknowledged successfully to Airtel.

          Then I called up Airtel on 22nd Mar and raised a formal complaint...I was told that they will look into this and it will be resolved within 24hrs. Later, I was told that my TV was not kept on while recharging and it was a technical issue from Airtel and no correction can be done from Airtel end. This was never informed when I recharged my DTH account through website. And I was really surprised that the Airtel is charging me daily, but they maintain in the TV display that my account is suspended due to negative balance.

          I made numerous calls to Airtel, but they kept saying it is Airtel's technical issue, per guidelines they don't have any solution. I visited Airtel customer office in person, but they said they cannot help.

          I don't understand why Airtel is charging me even after SUSPENDING my account?. To me, Airtel is cheating their customers (like me, there could be many of the customers getting cheated unknowingly) and Airtel is knowingly refusing to correct their mistakes even after acknowledging that it is a technical error from their end.

          Airtel DTH — non provision of channels and unauthorised deduction of money from the balance

          I am sanat, have taken airtel digital tv connection with connection no. [protected], i have these issues with them

          01. They do not provide all the cahnnels as mentioned inther website for example, Saakshi Tv and TV are part of South vale pak, but on subscription for this package, these ywo channels were not given, on regular mails and telephone, theya have advised me to pay some amount for activation of these two channels.

          02.Toady, i have got and SMS from that english top up has been activated on my package, for whaich i have not made any request.

          03. On enqury, they hav told me that I have called them on 24.05.2011 at 2.55 pm with a request for english top and theya have recoverd rs.55.15.

          04. Day before yesterday, my balance was Rs.250/-, not the balance has come down to Rs.104.40

          05. On enquiry, to know about the reduction of balance, these stupid airtel guys hav no answer

          06. My sincere advise is for others not to GO FOR AIRETL TV, These are all looters, bogus company, calrity is not good,

          07.I am going to consumerforum and media for redressal of this issue, if anyone wants join me, most welcome.

          Hi,

          I am facing the problem of account suspension for few weeks now since 19th March (that is after recharging my account with Rs. 410 on 18th Mar). I have made numerous calls to Customer, but all in pain. Today, someone called me up and argued that everything is ok from their end. I still COULD NOT SEE EVEN A SINGLE CHANNEL on my TV...all I see in my TV is " MY ACCOUNT IS SUSPENED DUE TO NEGATIVE BALANCE", but, Airtel still continue to deduct daily charge on my account and my Rs 412 balance in my account reduced to about Rs 200 now.

          I fail to understand how come company like Airtel can cheat/charge customers for the service which is not provided to the customers. It is just amazing business model.

          I have a the copy of the TV display taken for further legal action.

          My billing issue is not yet resolved. From 19th Mar, till 10th April, Airtel message on my TV says my account is suspended due to negative balance, but Airtel was charging me everyday during this time for the service they have NOT provided (I could not see any channels in my TV during this time). Prataba called me up and repeatedly saying that my billing will be corrected. However, now she is saying they they will not be able to reimburse the amount. Why Airtel has suspended my account and charging me for this?. As said before, I have a the video proof taken on my TV that my account was suspended and even Airtel service personal knows about it.h

          They put the blame on the setup box and they even charged me Rs 125 for sending service professional to home. Airtel service professional checked everything in setup box and confirmed everything is normal. He then called up Airtel and fixed the problem at their system. Why should I pay for the problem at the Airtel end?.

          I am fed up of talking with Airtel now. Can someone help me with filing a complaint in Consumer Court and bring up this issue in the social media to create awareness among customers?. I don't mind spending money just to get the justice. My email id is [protected]@yahoo.com and my contact number is [protected]. I am sure like me, lot many customers are getting cheated due to the issue at Airtel end.

            Every time I recharge my account after it is suspended (as I have not recharge on time). Once it is suspended, I recharge. Recharge was successful. I waited for 10 mins. I called customer care. Again they asked me to wait for 10 mins. I waited for 10 mins. But nothing happen. They said you should keep setup box on, I kept while I was recharging and waited for 20 mins. They have option for Hard refresh. When I sent sms, it says you account is suspended and HR request cannot be accepted,.

            But they dedicated money, customer care was able to see that Payment received, I got sms from Airtel digital that you account had been recharge successfully. When I call customer care, automated system also talked about new balance.

            Now again I need to call customer care, and ask them to enable from their side. Last time also I did that. I waited for 10 hours. At the end I called customer care and they enabled.

            This automatic system does not work

              I applied for airtel broadband service. Their executive Tarun Paul contacted and visited my place. He inspected the place and said that they have the availability in my area and i will surely be given the connection. He took my application and asked for Rs.600 as fees. Airtel's actual fees is INR 500. When i inquired about this he said that the charges have increased and gave me the receipt of Rs.600. I was ok with it.

              Tarun said that the connection will be made available in 72 hrs but even after a weeks time i did not get any connection. I called to airtel customer care where the executive said that they do not have the availability in my area and hence i will be refunded back. I asked the executive to return me the documents which I attached along with the application form too. Since the company was not allotting me their services, they do have the right to keep my documents but i was simply refused for this. When I called Tarun to know about this, he said that he was not in office for few days and will get me the connection anyhow but soon after that he started ignoring my calls. He did not had any answers when I traced him with my brothers number.

              After few days I got a cheque of Rs 500 from Airtel as the refund of application fees. I made a complaint of this on Airtel website. After this an executive Sachin called & I explained him everything. Sachin asked to mail them the receipt. After this followup when I did not hear anything from Sachin, I decided to mark a 2nd complaint. I was again called by Sachin and this time he said that they never got my mail of payment receipt and i need to send them the mail once again. I send them the mail again and waited for their response. After all this i did not get any reply. I have given them several reminders.

              Till now i did not care to en-cash the cheque but since i was not getting any response I thought of getting is en-cashed but found that the cheque contains my incomplete name and in wrong sequence. I again wrote the mail to Airtel and got an automated response that their support team will contact me within 1 working day. I wrote them the mail on 25th March but since the I have yet not got any call.

              I truly believe that a company like Airtel will never do such cheap activities and cheat the consumers. But the company is responsible for appointing loyal employees and take the suitable action in case they (employee) are following any wrong practices.

              I have all the documents/proof available with me & am still looking for the resolution from the company.

              I will really appreciate if anybody could guide me and tell as what can be done against such a careless attitude of the company.

              Airtel — fraud buy you employee

              bought ut 2 sim card on 22nd feb from one of your executive(shshikant-[protected]), he told to chose any number you want, i chose two numbers ([protected], [protected]) but he activate my sim after four days with different numbers([protected], [protected]) .after that after every alternate day my phone blocked and reason is negative verification, when i call on your 121 i find out my address written at your end i found its wong address, your executive feed wrong information about me .this is third time my phone is deactivated. i went you airtel office but they refuce to help me in this case .
              your executive shashikant and amit tare (amit.[protected]@airel.in) both are resposible for this and i will write complaint for fraud against him.

              they never pickup phone, during this last 25 days i tried daily more than 50 ties his phone but he didnit reply. i am just frusted,

              all this because your executive feed my address incorrect in your system .
              I tried lot to correct my address at your air tel center but they told me that you have to correct your addres through airtel executive, and donot pick phone.

              please do somethig terwise i will go to police.

                AirTel — Block service

                I have purches Airtel lifetime simcard on 16.08.08, i have submeeted all document (Photo id - Pand card xerox & Address proof - 2 wheeler Licence no. is MH 19 - 16544/2003 on licence permant address is AT - AMBILHOL, POST- GARKHEDA, TAL-JAMNER, DIST- JALGAON Pin no 424206 . xerox). But sim service is block on date 01.09.08. Airtel say submeet the address proof in mumbai.
                So Airtel give me my money 299 (I have use Rs. 10 talktime) so 299-10 = 289 + paid me & i give you a simcard. I have purches another company (vodafone, Tata, Reliance, Idea) sim card.

                They are arbitrarily charging 50/- per month under the pretext of my subscribing to VAS PACK 50.

                    I have registered to your airtel money account and have been doing all my transactions for the past 6 months.
                    But now when I try to load cash i am getting the following error:

                    "Transaction failed, customer Airtel money account not active."

                    I have called to your customer service people and have raised the complaint. Issue still persists.
                    They seems to tell me the same answer again and again. "Please try reg again sir"
                    I have done hell a lot of times. I am even planning to switch my number to some other service provider if issue is not solved in 3 days.

[protected] back into airtel from aircel. i had submitted the documents on 17 jan 2013. the no. has not ported yet. i enquired about the unusual delay at the franchisee and finally i was assured at the franchisee that the no. will port into airtel on 3rd march. being totally unsatisfied with the services provided by aircel i got an airtel sim from ma friend promising him to return it on 4th march. i placed ma aircel sim in ma wallet. to my misfortune ma cousin fell ill and we had to shift him to AIIMS. meanwhile one of our relatives passed away and in all this confusion i lost ma wallet in which i had kept the sim. today on 29th march i went to the franchisee once again but the careless person told me that the UPC code has expired. when i argued y he didnt deliver the documents in time he said the the delay was because of the shutdowns in J & K. the fact is that i submitted the documents on 17th jan and the unrest started on 9th feb. one more thing is that he told me that he had confirmed the date of activation of ma airtel sim, on 25th feb, when he told me that the sim is going to activate on 3rd march . now i cant get the code as ive lost the aircel sim. for ur info i'd tell u that when i ported it into aircel from airtel the UPC code validity used to be only 15 days then. and it took only 25 days for the whole process. nowadays the validity of the code is 30 days but the stupid airtel personnel and franchisee being careless did not forward the documents well in time. now i have almost lost ma number and am very worried as i've mentioned the no. everywhere, in university,nears and dears. ive qualified the written test of the jk bank relationship executive and have to appear for the interview now. im worried about if the bank ever intends to contact me how they can as this is the very no. which ive mentioned in ma written test application form. im totally depressed and ive decided that if not sorted within a few days i'll sue airtel into the consumer court on the charges of carelessness, leading to ma mental stress and inconvenience, Besides i'll publish the news in a couple of newspapers that will lead to loss of goodwill to airtel.... so better defend ur company goodwill. i[censored] wish to contact the franchisee the no. is [protected].

                        I have not received my bill so far though the last date for payment was 14.11.2008. In the past also, the bills are not being received regularly. On one occasion it resulted into delayed payment for which I had unnecessarily to suffer for the delay on the part of airtel . The matter may please be looked into and it may be ensured that the bills are delivered regularly and timely.

                        We are using [protected] postpaid connection from airtel from past many year the only problem we are facing with airtel is they are not delivered the monthly bill properly for that we have complaint serveral times to 121 / 198 or even airtel retails shop but every time we got insurance that they will resolve our complaint with in 48hrs to 72 hrs but result nothing this current month same thing happen we received message that bill delivered & kindly pay due amonut for that we have enqiure 198 regarding bill delivery where we got reply from cust care bill has been received by some Mr Gopal i can challange that nobody by this name at my home even my neighbours that shows courier company showing fake delivery to airtel & we are suffering for same

                        Kindly help us to resolve this issue because now this has happen again & again after every 2-3 month.

                          On 23rd noon, I received a sms that my number will be ported to airtel at midnight 12.30 .
                          But, today it has become 11th day and yet it is not ported. Please guide and help me to find solution for it, so that I don't wanna lose that number.

                            Respected sir,

                            On Nov 28th, I went to Airtels outlet located opp to abirami mall, puraisaiwalkam, Chennai to buy 3G Data card. Airtel executive told me that if you take unlimited post paid browsing plan (cost 950rs per month) for 3 months, you would be getting a 3g data card (dongle) for free.

                            So I paid 2850 rs and taken that 3months plan and got the post paid card with the no [protected] and also a data card .

                            After 3 months, that is , now I am getting a call from Airtel legal dept asking me to pay for the Data card. I have explained him but he seemed to be unaware of that plan.

                            So he asked me to talk to the Airtel executive who sold me this. I contacted him and he asked me to contact customer care. I called customer care, They asked me to talk to the billing dept.

                            And that's it, I am here now.

                            It looks no one seems to be responsible for this and redirecting me from one dept to another. As a service provider, It should be Airtels responsibility to talk to the concerned dept, not the customers responsibility.

                            I request for strict action to be taken against Airtel for the false claim and also for not being accountable.

                            I am an airtel broadband customer. I had subscribed to the broadband connection and paid them 6 months in advance. Still in the bill they have added the amount and ask me to pay again (Rs 6995/.).
                            I raised a complaint with ref number 55038498. They have now marked it as resolved (and have not informed me until I checked the status), and still the bill amount has not changed.

                            Can you please let me know what steps to take, as this is not the first time they are taking me to the edge.

                              Sir,
                              I am from Tamil Nadu & using airtel prepaid number (TN circle). But in my screen display, the network is has been shown VODAFONE IN/AIRTEL (In Andhra Pradesh). I have checked with another airtel sim in AP. But in that display, it appears AIRTEL. Manually i searched the available networks in my phone & my friend's phone. My friend's phone detects airtel signal whereas in my phone, AIRTE SIGNAL WAS NOT IN THE AVAILABLE NETWORKS LIST. I have interchanged the sim cards & tried again. Still no change. I surprised when i see this. My prepaid balance was deducted so many times without making outgoing calls & sending sms in roaming. I'd been charged for browsing though i had active GPRS in roaming. 121 customer care is not valid in roaming & i called for AP customer care centre. They told me to call TN customer care centre. I have reached TN service centre by +[protected] & I spoke with the customer service representatives for roaming charges in. I had been charged Rs 1.5/min. Airtel customer care was not helping when I go out of station.

                              Kindly clarify the following:
                              1. In airtel sim, why does the vodafone IN signal is crossing?
                              2. Why does the airtel sim is not getting airtel signal?
                              3. Why does the airtel signal was not appearing in the list of available networks?
                              4. How to reach TN customer service centre in roaming?

                                I am a regular prepaid customer of Airtel spending about Rs. 3000 per month on recharges and services. I use an IPhone 5. I always subscribe to the 3G service and usually take an unlimited plan. There is usually 3G available on my telephone number [protected]

                                On 17th March 2013 I activated a Rs. 655 unlimited plan which is valid for 30 days. Â This is confirmed by the company as can be seen in the trailing mails. The service worked well for two days and thereafter from 21st March there has been no 3G service on my number. Initially I thought that it was a location issue but there was no 3G in the whole of Pune!Â

                                Subsequent to making a complaint I keep getting the same standard email reply. I also get calls from the Customer service agents who ask canned irrelevant questions and give me the same standard replies even though the replies were given earlier with no results.Â

                                Lack of service for 7 days on a 30 day plan amounts to a deficiency of 25% and Airtel is not going to extend the service nor refund the advance charge!Â

                                Strangely, I received a call from +[protected] on 29th March inquiring about why there was a drop in my usage! Really!! Once again I got the same canned questions and replies and after reminding them that I use an IPhone they still provide settings and procedures for a normal handset!

                                I would like to point out that I had raised a complaint about lack of 3G services in Calangute Goa in December/January as well.

                                The company isn't taking this deficiency in service seriously and some action needs to be taken. Â Accepting and advance payment for a service and not delivering is cheating!

                                Airtel — Connectivity and Lack of process

                                The fire at Lower Parel has clearly shown that the company has no back up plan and not geared for any emergency. The blackberry service provided is absolutely useless as mojority of time you cannot call "Radio Path Unavailable" is the sessage you get. Connectivity is very poor across the city . Unfortunately I have three Airtel Connections and none of them have proper connectivity. Mcheck launched by the for Bill payment is a faliure as nor the website nor their online system works. To Top it they have tied up with Kingfisher and Amex for their credit card. The co branded card is not accepted on the website or their bill payment centre. It clearly shows how weal their internal process are and external comitment to its consumers is all of very poor quality

                                  I have purchased a new mobile nokia Lumia 620 on 17.3.2013 with an offer from Airtel of 6gb 3g data free for 3 months. Still offer is not activated on my sim as i have called so many time for this issue on Airtel costumer care.
                                  As per Airtel "Service request no CBNRA[protected] has been resolved" but it is not resolved yet.

                                  kindly resolve the issue.

                                    Sir/madam,
                                    Im staying in hostel and working in MNC company in chennai. Very recently i took a postpaid connection with numbers [protected], [protected]. Sir the repesentative of airtel who took order for two postpaid connection is MR Iyaappan from airtel. Sir while taking connection this person from dint say anything about any deposit amount. Even while verification of my present hostel address they dint say anything about deposit amount. But, after we started using both postpaid connection we get a call from cusomer service airtel by saying that we need to pay deposit of 400Rs. As we stay in hostel address. But sir, the address proof i have given is MY PASSPORT xerox which is having my permanent address further they have also got my OFFICE ID. Even after this they giving a reason that they dont trust those live in hostel.

                                    Sir, AIRTEL is saying that an indian passport xerox is not worth for taking mobile connection. I have also raised the complaint on the same with airtel customer care for cheating customer like this and not informing things properly earlier. Further, when i ask customer care they simply say that i should go and ask the person with whome i take mobile connection.

                                    Sir, while taking connection they came to us and took connection and now they say we should go and ask the person. is it our duty to ask is there a deposit or their duty to inform that we have to pay deposit while we take connection. If they have told we would have informed no need such connection at all.

                                    Now after we gave all our contacts our new number they are making us to do like this. now they saying if we wish we can disconnect our connection. My reference number on this complaint with airtel F[protected].

                                    Please take up the issue and give us right direction.

                                      i have been recharge rs 98/- for airtel net (650 mb )on 20.3.13,but net is active in my numb [protected].yet from that day i did not open the net of the temporally problem persists.it is very very very..slow . when open the net then shows response unknown and packet data connection not available.then a long time net signal is showed and cutted the charges.but net did not opened. Airtel net for doing internet on mobile. For the last month or more i cannot properly surf the net. The problem is that less than 25% web sites can be opened. When i try to open a page a message is shown either reply unknown or no gateway reply. The problem has become so severe that the last 7 days when i used Airtel internet i could not even check my e-mail. Also Airtel has blocked us from using opera mini and other web browsers. I contacted Airtel customer care but the problem remains. Please help me.

                                      Airtel — customer care & policies

                                      Airtel customer care is very bad. I have called them to cancel my account and the agent told me that he does not have the permission to cancel it and he needs to forward me to another department which will make me a call back in 4 hrs. I did not get any call within the stipulated SLA. I reminded them one more time after a day's wait and now they gave me another id for future references with the same story. Still i did not get any response from them. I had to call them up again after waiting one more day. Same story awaits. Moreover surprisingly, i was told by the agent that no supervisor was available.

                                      Finally the concerned department calls me up and says that it is cancelling the account as of today and not the day of submission.

                                      Funny part is they are charging me for speaking to their customer care and no service was available including their supervisor and the concerned department. The person started giving me gyan of how reputed this airtel company is and when i shared the story, he simply backed out saying that he will take my feedback and put the phone down.

                                      Not sure if this is the same case when we cancel the mobile service. Such a pathetic situation, hope the awareness of Customer Relationship increases in India.
