Hi,
I have recharged my DTH account (no- [protected]) with Rs 410 on 18th Mar using my credit card and after recharge, I could see my account with Rs 412 and per offer, additional Rs 20 should have been added to my account within 2 days.
However, to my surprise, the TV displayed " This account is suspended due to Negative balances" on the very next day. This lead me to think that the Credit card company might have not settled the payment to Airtel. I called up my credit card bank after couple of days and found that the payment was acknowledged successfully to Airtel.
Then I called up Airtel on 22nd Mar and raised a formal complaint...I was told that they will look into this and it will be resolved within 24hrs. Later, I was told that my TV was not kept on while recharging and it was a technical issue from Airtel and no correction can be done from Airtel end. This was never informed when I recharged my DTH account through website. And I was really surprised that the Airtel is charging me daily, but they maintain in the TV display that my account is suspended due to negative balance.
I made numerous calls to Airtel, but they kept saying it is Airtel's technical issue, per guidelines they don't have any solution. I visited Airtel customer office in person, but they said they cannot help.
I don't understand why Airtel is charging me even after SUSPENDING my account?. To me, Airtel is cheating their customers (like me, there could be many of the customers getting cheated unknowingly) and Airtel is knowingly refusing to correct their mistakes even after acknowledging that it is a technical error from their end.

SFG — Misuse of airtel phone number
My name is Binoy. This is the complaint against two airtel numbers [protected] and [protected] from Delhi, India. Actually i got a call from these numbers from one Mr.Akash regarding a plan in idea cellular, the plan was like, i will get 1000 free local calls and sms and 100 free STD calls on every month for 6 months if i pay 500 Rs. He send some representative to me and i gave money for my 2 numbers for same plan (1000/- Rs). But even after 1 week there were no response. i called them many times and told the thing and now he is not picking up my call or taking my call and disconnection it or keep it on hold. Please help me to get my money back or activate this facility in my mobile number.Thanking you,
