    Hi,my name is manoj from pune,i have airtel prepaid connection,today that airtel activated one service(Fashion show)and charged rs 5 from my account after then when i call to cust care and ask about that they simply put my call onhold and then disconnect(that's a chargeable call)again i call cust. care the same thing happend(thats also a chargable call)thirdly when i call again they disconnect my call directly.

    so for that Rs 5,i wasted Rs 2 more,this is the second time when that airtel people doing this,thats why i m submitting this complain.

    now days these telecom are going worse than ever.

    Bharti Airtel Ltd — unnecessary activation of other services

    I am using Airtel No [protected] in March 2010. time by tine they start a Paid service on my Number. they also deduct the amount from my Balance. I have complain several time to the Customer Care Executive. But there is no satisfactory reply comes from their side. Yesterday they have started Airtel Friendz chat and deduct Rs. 30 from my Account. Today they have started Airtel Picture Post romance Service.

    Hello my airtel no is [protected]. From last 6 months value added services are activated automatically like heello tunes; games without any request from me.
    I had complaint to local airtel office (in amravati),but this disturbances is still going on.So pls solve my problem.

      Hello Sir/Madam,

      I wanted to report a issue in Airtel billing and the harrasment they are doing for this due amount.

      My Number was : [protected]

      I was travelling in Italy and their my bag was stolen (along with my mobile in it)..then that thief made some calls on international roaming for couple of days which made the due amount to approx Rs 40000. I also have a police report filed in Italy along with my collegue.

      My concern is: Credit limit for my mobile connection was Rs 5900 but still Airtel didn't barred my connection and continue to make the bill of Rs 40000. They should have barred my connection as soon as my credit limit was reached. I am ready to pay them the amount of Rs 5900 which was my credit limit and not beyond that. They only barred this connection when I didn't paid the bill and was asking about the justification why they didn't barred my connection when credit limit was reached. So far they didn't gave me explaination of why phone was not barred after reaching the credit limit of Rs 5900.

      Can you please help me in settling this account as I want my records to be clean in India though I have moved and settled in Europe now. They should waive off the amount charged above my credit limit

          I has been disconnect broadband as on april2012. But airtel send me bill for that month also. After spoken airtel billing department they said to pay Rs.1837.00.I has been paid Rs.1837.00 while paying payment gateway deduct money from my account and not came back to airtel.in. I contacted HDFC bank they said if money not taken by airtel my money will come back to my account automatically. But money not come again after long days. After that they called often and said to pay. I said paid already and said what happened. Then they leave that matter in that time. After some month they called again and i explained again. Like that happened 1 year. Finally today (26/3/2013) they called me and said filled complained on you. You have to pay today itself or you have to come court.
          I m ready to pay Rs.2856.98 again becasue i have alot work to concentrate my question is where does gone my paid money.

          dear sir
          i had requested to disconnect my airtel broadband in feb'09. and made final payment of RS 885/- and requested to
          pickup the modem then only. customer care professional said they will pick up modem within two days .

          since then nobody came and only bill came next month i informed them and ccare insured that that was a mistake and they will discontinue sending further bills .


          but now in september i get threteniung calls from an agent saying that out of my pending amount of Rs2500 /- i should settle in rs 1300/- and settle the case by getting a noc letter from the company . and if i will not make payment then they will create a scene at my residence .

          Airtel Broadband — Customer to pay for the bloated Bill??

          I had an Airtel 599 plan connection, for which always the bill amount used to be 750 plus, used or not used. Including the service tax, it should come to only about 690.Even this was ok. Once the bill came to 2200, which is way high for any usage. Instead of resolving the issue, they demanded payment and each time i asked them to resolve the issue and come up with a comfortable and reasonable amount, or i can pay the normal monthly package amount. Either that, or cancel the connection. If cancelling the account, i was willing to pay the difference on the settled amount, since the caution deposit of Rs 1000 is still with Airtel.The termination of the account was dealth with promptly, but the issue was not settled, but they kept on demending money and even threatening with legal action. I too decided to stand up for myself, and refuse to pay any amount unless they settle the issue in a way advantageous to both o[censored]s. They ahve started legal procedures now and have sent me a printed letter and some emails apart from calling me on the phone and asking for money. And still the bill comes, growing bigger, adding the late payment fees and all. What is their recovery procedure?

          Airtel Broadband — Not activating the connection after paying money

          Hi

          This is Durgarao K using broad band connection[protected]. I have chosen an
          option pay advanced rental when I took the connection. After my first 6 months
          I got a call from airtel by asking to continue the 6 months advance rental. I
          told them I am not very comfortable 6 months plan and I will inform like make
          every month payment. I got a confirmation for the same. But surprisingly My
          connection was discounted in july by saying due amount is 2118-(It was
          calculated based on the 6 months plan) even though I have paid the full amount. After that
          I have paid 2118- on 25th-Sep-10(receipt no 10-11/bal/hyd) for reactivate the
          connection. Its like paied money for next 3 months But connection not reactivated and the way people ware acting is
          highly unacceptable(Who were communicating and giving all the info and no is
          [protected] her name is swetha). I really got frustrated with things were
          happening from last 3 months. I wasted lot time and money for making calls. I
          need info like can u reactivate the connection or pay back my money. I need
          internet urgently. I am facing lot problems because not having internet
          connection. I have visited airtel office in Madhapur-Hyderabad. Sending mails almost everyday but no use everybody says we will get it done today.. please help me regarding this .. i want to go to consumer court and file a case..

          Airtel — extra money paid as bill was not refunded

          By mistake, I paid Rs 6000 extra im my internet bill (AIRTEL), and the money never came back. After 6 months of logging request for connection closure, and logging around 20 requests (which were automatically closed every time), i have still not received my money. Instead the money to be refunded has now been reduced by their system to 5192. I have dropped many many emails to them, but finally have stopped getting replies.

          And i shifted my house to new place and cancelled connection. After cancelled connection also they started sending me bill with full value.
          After spoken airtel billing department they said i have to pay Rs.1837.00. I must not pay single rupee because i clean all my billings.
          But i paid this too because i dont like to waste my time for paying this money. When i paid this money from airtel.in website after paid, payment gateway took money from my account and not send back to airtel.in site. I enqired about this to airtel customer care. They said after cancelled connection have to pay airtel show room. Then i contact my HDFC bank they said if payment not takes place your money will refund.
          Like that i has been get alot money taken back from irctc,ticketbooking and alot sites. I dint get money back to my account back from airtel.in.
          This clearly shows me they took and not refunded. My banker said the same.

          After along time they called me often like every 3months said to pay Rs.2856.98 if not will file complaint about fraudent. My only question is who is fraud here. I m ready to pay Rs.2856.98, where gone i paid money Rs.1837.00

          Finally today 26/3/2013 i got a call from them they said today is last day you have to pay or you have to meet on court.

          Simply i m going to pay this money because i have alot of work then this to concentrate. My question is why they doing like this. I m sure alot people affect like this. I spend alot time for this to make sure right things have to happen. Finally i have to pay 2 times.
          1) i must not pay but paid for not to trap in trouble
          2)Their fraudent activity

          They are too big i cant fight with them. So their speach is too hard like threatening.
          What i need is justice :(.

              AirTel — amount debited for the service which i had not activated.

              my airtell prepaid no [protected] .i was out of station from last 3 months &i was not using my sim.when i came back to raibareli when i again started using my sim i found that Rs 30/- &Rs10/- was deducted for the name of sevices which i had not activated.so kindly refund my amount.one other thing when i approached to my near aertel centre there behavior was also very cassual.they were not able to cancel or deactivate the services for which i have been charged.

                  Hi,

                  I've applied for a broadband connection on DEC 14th 2012 (application no. TBLR. 591597) and paid an advance of around 1500 rs.
                  After few days I've been informed that the connection is not feasible. ( I dont know why they didn't know that when taking the advance ) and So I've opted for a refund which is still not processed.

                  I'm given my address clearly, mentioned my phone no. but haven't got a single call about the refund.
                  I've filed N number of complaints which are absolutely of no use. Horrible staff with ZERO coordination, awful service ,useless customer care and utter disregard to the needs of the customer.

                  I've spent atleast 100 bucks calling customer cares, line mans and airtel agents. This is nothing but pure Harassment.

                  I would be grateful if you could process the refund atleast in my next birth.

                  AirTel — Not Providing REFUND

                  Hello all,
                  there is problem in GUJARAT in AIRTEL in it's NOP services ..
                  i am not able to access the services...
                  When i am complaining at airtel, They are telling me to wait for 4 hrs..

                  But after the 4 hrs the same answer...

                  i was not able to access this service in last week for 4 days...
                  so only 3 day they have provided that service..

                  When i am asking for refund they telling..
                  SORRY..

                  I want some EXTREME STRICT ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL...
                  i am here telling some names of customer care executives which have given me these illogical answers

                  Airtel is not refunding my money. I have disconnected the connection on 27 May 08. Now its more than 3 months. In spite of repeated complaints on their customer care and email, they are in no mood to refund my money.

                      I am a loyal customer of Airtel Since more than 9 years, but this is ridiculous that I have submitted my complaint by giving every bit of explanation and still no one cares to call me. Its been 12 Days that I have send an email to 121 email Id and send a message on Facebook to Airtel presence and also emailed the team. Infact I also call them once in two days. Everytime they say the same answer without giving the solution. I have copied the initial complaint below. Initially I had got the call from so called Airtel Center to sell the post paid plan for my prepaid number --- from [protected] Number. After taking the money (Rs 900) they dont even bother to pick my call. Before receiving money they told me to call anytime for the mentioned number. I hope Airtel will remain customer friendly and take this complaint very seriously to investigate this issue or else whole of my family and friends will move out of Airtel ( Guess i dont have to do this). I dont want promises. I want the result and my money back. Please help me out.

                      I am Lingraj Gavimath, from Bangalore. I had got a call from Airtel
                      for Pre-to- Post migration, from Ramanagara contact division from the number [protected].
                      A guy (His Name was Siddeshwar) had come to collect the documents. I had
                      given my documents and photo for the migration of my two numbers. I
                      had also paid Rs 900, on March 9th 2013. The guy had told that I will
                      receive a sim card from Airtel. I had given my office address. Till
                      date I had not received my Sim cards. Today morning a person had come
                      for verification and said that I have to contact the persons to whom I
                      paid the money. I have the form or application number (Customer
                      Relationship Form number) it is: 292739. Please help me regarding
                      this. The Agents name reflected in the form was Mohammad Nizam. I had got a call for verification
                      from [protected], guess they will be knowing who sold this.

                        I'm a customer of Airtel Digital TV since 3 years. My Set top box stopped working properly since 3 weeks i.e from 9th Mar 2012. I had raised a complaint with customer service(Req No.[protected], following which a technician from the service center came, inspected the set top box and told that STB has to be replaced if the problem reoccurs. THE TECHNICIAN COLLECTED RS 125 as visiting charges. Only within one day the problem started again and when i called the technician again, he told me to wait for 2 days to get the STB REPLACED. Since then I have been daily checking the status, and every day I'm being turned down saying there are no STB available. To my surprise, WHEN I ENQUIRED ABOUT NEW CONNECTION, THEY PROMISED TO INSTALL THE CONNECTION THE NEXT DAY ITSELF. On insisting to cross-check if the STB are really available, they RESPONDED POSITIVELY.
                        I have lost all the prepaid money i had in my account.
                        Total Loss : Rs 125(visting charges) + Rs 189 (21 days prepaid account) = Rs 314.
                        HOW DO THEY NOT HAVE STB FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE WITH THEM SINCE 3 YEARS, BUT READILY AVAILABLE FOR NEW CUSTOMERS.

                        Please register this complaint and take strict action against the operators.

                        Bharti Airtel Limited — non working of set top box

                        We were asked to change the set top box by company people as our old set top box was not working properly. We were told that we will get a new set top box but the company person installed a old one in place of our existing one telling the new set top box is not available with company. now the replaced one is also not working from the very next day it was installed. On registering complain again they just give us complain no. and a time to get the complaint resolved. But no company representative has arrived or taken any action to resolve our complain. Now our set top box has completely shut down and the company people are not taking any action against our complain.

                          Dear Sir,

                          we have requested last 8th june 2011. to receive bill deatial of my mobile numbar [protected].but still there are no response from the company of airtel,and they could not sent my call to his custmore care officer. what will who do

                          I have registered new airtel postpaid number around 25 days back.There is a problem with that sim i.e.no incoming calls are allowed & also message sending & receiving service is not working from the day one.After 1 week's follow up there service guy told me replace the sim to resolve the problem by keeping same number.So i got new sim with same number now the problem is from last 15 days they swap my sim & still it is not activated.Where as as per my knowledge to activate any sim it is hardly a matter of 2-4 hours.They daily promise me that at the end of the day my sim is definitely activated but it never happened.Please consider my complaint & help me to teach them a lesson so that from next time they think twice to ignore customer complaints.

                            I had given a written complaint for disconnection of the no [protected] for which they had told me to give a written letter. i did so in their gurgaon office. on no action i had written on the email for which they responded. I told their representative to get in touch with me to settle the amount but the did not call.
                            I requested to tell me the amt of the call and not the late fees as no action from them is not my fault. they refused to give me the details. dissappointment on their service

                            Bharti Airtel Limited, — outstanding dues

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am kotgi basavaraja, working with privite company in gurgaon, haryana. I was using airtel number of [protected] and [protected].

                            My main problem from last one year that, in the april 2008 bill, they were added 75/- as late fee after that, i have contacted airtel outlet for the clarification, they denied to give any justification.
                            After that, I have paid only the actual amount used by me. Next month onwards, they keep on adding the late fee till april 2009. in this period I have mailed to cust care centre for resolving the query, but every time i was receiving the mail that, "we are not able to solve your query". I had all the commincation with airtel from last one year. In april 2009 again I have approched to solve this problem, but they did not turned to listen what i am going to say. then i have decided to discontinue the connection, at that time they are asking me to pay all the over due amount, which i am responsible for the late fee payments from last oneyear ( approx 12x75=900/- and monthly rent of 300/ - (300x3= 900/- for 3 months (Nov 2008 to Feb 2009)).
                            Earlier my plan was corporate 699/- plan, this was completed in the month of oct 2008. And suddenly they started charging me 300/- PM rent without giving any notice or call to me or getting a customer opinion. They did not cooperated me at all for the settlement of the account.

                            Now I have received a letter from the airtel; that, they are going to legal proceeding. Some times they used to threat by raising the big voice.

                            I need your help to sort out this problem once for all. I had paid all the amount of calls used by me. they are asking me, pay the unnessary late fee amount.I have maintained all the communcation details with airtel.

                                Respected Panelist,

                                Well its been more than 3years i am registered with DND service by Airtel. On daily basis i receive Promotional calls and Messages and i am fed of it. I have complained to Airtel and everytime they assure me that it will be stopped. But they are incapable to do so. I am really fed up and it has affected my health too.

                                I have decided to move court and file a defamation case against them and it has really disturbed me and it has affected me in my work too.

                                I have all the details of the messages and calls i receive from the agencies. I am tired of complaining again and again. They really dont understand the consumers problem.

                                Please guide me what best i can do to resolve this issue, awaiting your valuable feedback.

                                I had registered my telephone number [protected] for DND sometime in Apr 2010. Subsequently, I kept on receiving promotional calls, complaints were raised with Airtel, and of course I would not know if some punishment was handed over to the concerned telemarketing company or not

                                Today Morning, I received a call at around 10:15 AM from HDFC (+[protected] trying to sell me some insurance policy. (on Dec 4th, 2010, I received SMS from TA-BARKER at 18:52 hours trying to sell some DJ musical evening)

                                Does Airtel anyways care, about the privacy of their subscribers? Also, is it really worth to register for NDND?

                                I would expect Airtel to reply to this.

                                    I have been charged Rs.5 from my Airtel prepaid account (number: [protected]) for downloading Fashion show on[protected]:22 hrs when I have not downloaded any such thing. When I contacted the customer care on 121 and told the executive that I didn't download it, he insisted that I downloaded it at that time from a website, which I couldn't make out from what he was telling. I told him repeatedly that I didn't download it, but he wasn't willing to accept and thanked and disconnected the call.

                                    Searching the Internet, I found that few others were having the same issue as me. Can you please stop these types of charges from getting deducted from account when no such Value Added Services (VAS) were downloaded? Please also refund my prepaid account with Rs.5.

                                      the companys unending fraudulent activities shall never end. Here it comes with a new scheme, if at all ur a airtel customer or ur trying to be one, do know abt this? Never use the internet (or so called subscribed packet data) when u have large amount of balance. I[censored]r using the so called data pack, ur entire balance will be taken away before the data is over. If that is not enough further, the care personnel will prove u wrong for complaining by saying they have no track of such debits.

                                      AirTel — Deceiving the customers

                                      Hi,

                                      I have a prepaid card having number [protected] which was having Rs 1/min for local call.
                                      In the last month (20th Sept,2007) I recharged with Rs 90/- by which the local call became 50 paise/min. Before recharge I didnt receive any SMS saying the same , I simply went and recharged it with Rs 90/-.
                                      I knew that this was valid only for 1 month,therefore I again recharged it with Rs 90/- to continue the same on (20th Oct,2007).But now I am charged Rs 1.99/min for local call.This is absolutly ridiculous.This is something which is not expected from AIRTEL.Now when I talk to Customer executives of AIRTEL they say that why have you recharged without getting the SMS stating the same.Then I told them that in the last month also I didnt get the SMS but I got the benefit of 50 paise/min.
                                      Now the question here is why that scheme got activated if I didnt receive the SMS?
                                      I tried to explain them that if I would not have recharged with Rs 90/- then my local call would have been continued Rs 1/min.But now since I have recharged with Rs 90/- and I didnt get the SMS stating the same so I am getting charged Rs 1.99/min for local call.So,I am in loss paying double amount if I would not have gone for Rs 90/- recharge.
                                      There may be many people suffering with the same problem.So,I would like to bring it to your notice that why AIRTEL doesnt come up openly with their schemes? Why dont they tell the pros and cons of the schemes? And further more the Customer executives of AIRTEL are very very harsh.When we try to argue they simply tell do whatever you like.
                                      Thats the reason I am bringing you to notice that this is how the Customers are being treated by AIRTEL.
                                      I want the scheme to be reverted so that I get charged with Rs 1/min instead of Rs 1.99/min for local calls.
                                      Therefore I request you to please take appropriate action so like me other customers do not suffer from the same.

                                      AirTel — Deceiving to customer

                                      Dear Sir/Madam

                                      Here it is often seen that most offer for recharge is offered to customer but their terms and condition does not offer. One sms offer has come from airtel, that you will get the local call 60 paise per call from easy recharge of Rs.95. I recharged through this top up, and did a local call of bsnl landline number in Ranchi. It is deducted to Re.1 per call. When I talked to customer care, it is told that landline local call rate is Re.1.

                                      I am asking landline call is not not known as local call. Is it not deceiving with customer?

                                      Kindly concern this question and take right step to consumer.

                                      yet another fraud..! Neither they have responded to my complaint nor they have solved it. They claim to have resolved the issue, let me know what did they resolve and what was the resolution?
                                      The scheme of debiting still continues, after my complaint i hav lost more than 100rs.

                                        Myself vinu nair from delhi.i was a costomer of airtel broadband

                                        connection on dec 2012month.On 25dec my airtel broadband connection started.

                                        i took a plan of 9gb per month.but after just a week i noticed there was

                                        some problems with my data usage, in a week my 9gb was consumed according to

                                        airtel services even without using that 9gb.According to me i only consumed

                                        approx 1 gb in that week. but after a week i got a mail that i consumed all

                                        my data (9gb).. so i m gonna get the speed of 256kbs for the rest of 23 days

                                        of that month.



                                        So on 23 january morning i called 121 and requested to airtel to disconnect

                                        my broadband cnnection as soon as possible as i dont want to continue this

                                        connection to next month(february).and that was my final decision. so they

                                        told me sir please keep this refernce no[protected]. this is the refernce no

                                        of your broadband cancellation req.and they told me that ur connection will

                                        b disconnctd in 3-4 days.. so paid my bill of januray online.And between

                                        that 3-4 days i got atleast 50 calls from airtel to request me to continue

                                        my connection. but i always refused to continue as i was frustated with

                                        thier services.then after a week they called on feb first week that my

                                        connection has been disccncted and i will recieve a confirmation call from

                                        airtel soon. but i havent got any call regarding that.

                                        And now a few days i got a msg from airtel that i have to pay the bill of

                                        february month ie 1055rs.
                                        I just want to know why the hell they havnt cannclled my connection when i

                                        requested on jan month. And on 19 march 2013when i again called on 121 and

                                        ask why they didnt canceld my connection on january . then they said- sir we

                                        havent recieved any cancellation request from ur side till this date.adding

                                        on this they aslo said sir u called on 23 januay2013 to continue ur

                                        connection not to cancel ur connection.


                                        Dear sir/mam.. i request u to please take a hard step against this issue..

                                        why i will pay the bill of february month if i already cancelled iton

                                        january..and everyDAY i m getting a call to pay my bill oF feb month.
                                        i heard a lot about CONSUMERcomplaints.in. i hope u will response me.
