Dear all,

I have paid for the new airtel connection but i am frustrated with the
installation.Till the payment was done the responses and the
commitments were met but once the payment was made on 26th Feb,2013 it seems to be my
responsibility to get the installation done.My connection ID # [protected] in the name of my husband Mr.Ujjal De under Mobile number # [protected].My calls are getting disconnected unnecessarily by the help line at
[protected].Yesterday I received a call at around 10.30 am stating
that the technician would complained.Around 1 30 pm I got a call for
installation but no body came.The entire day was wasted sitting at home doing follow ups.
Post which I tried to get this done through the help line the number stated above but every time I was
promised to receive a call back after some time.After the commitment time had passed I called up again and finally I was transferred to
Abdul Rahman who did the sale to me.but even then I did not receiveany call back.On contacting the number of the technician they also
guided me to call up the call center only.Where all my calls were only getting disconnected with roaming charges on my mobile.I called up
another number[protected] where a compassionate lady promised me to wait until 8 pm and refused to take any complain before 8 pm .However nobody called after that neither the connection was installed.Today morning again I called up but have not received any call back .I spoke
to the nodal officer Mr.Gagan Kumar who again refuse to take the complain as my connection is not active and gave me a number
[protected] where people cannot speak or understand anything but Tamil.Unfortunately I do not understand Tamil but could make out that
this number does not belong to the distributor in Kodambakkam .They gave me another number [protected] where they confirmed that my pin code is wrong .I have checked all the details before submitting the payment.The details are correct and still in my mail box.I would be leaving for Calcutta tomorrow my husband would not be at the housefor the installation.I feel like I have done a crime by subscribing to your TV as the service quality is ridiculous.My connection ID is [protected]. Again in the evening I tried to call up the help line number at[protected] where I spoke to a supervisor who again assured me to make a call back after 1 hour but again I did not receive any call back.Whenever I try to call them up they put me on hold and eventually disconnect.I do not want the connection to be activated now as I do not want to have a long term relationship with such a company who do not meet a single commitment after taking the payment and want the money credited back to my credit card asap.
I am going to take this to consumer forum.This has been such a lot a
harassment. Not only due to the delay but also due to the
unprofessional and unethical behavior.Preferably I want my money back
because I do not want to stick to a company where the service quality
is awfully disgusting .I would like the call details to be retrieved and would like to get a line of communication from the Airtel Digital department head regarding this.I have also written to their email id of the nodal office but as you can understand I do not have any faith in them.Hence writing to you for help.Kindly help

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Not doing the installation

I have booked a connection in AIRTEL DIGITAL TV on[protected]. But till now no installation was done. A AIRTEL DIDITAL TV representative came to my home on[protected] by 2.30PM and the have removed all the electrical junctions and removed the connection between the TV and the DVD played and kept it on the ground. They have left the electrical switch board opened with all the power wires hanging. The person who made this has this mobile number [protected]. I have raised the complaint with the customer care 12150 and the complaint number is 2204795. Too wost service.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Installation is not done

i applied for the installation of dth connection by online and also did the payment online by phone for the same last saturday i.e. 9th april 2011.And he told me that within 2 days they will install.But still i''m waiting for the airtel box. i paid for the whole year subscription i.e. Rs. 2790. he gave me transaction id 14472984. my customer id is [protected]. i called these person by phone and mail also but i''m not getting any response.By phone they are telling that go by mail only and also telling that they don''t receive Rs. 2790. From last 12 days i''m waiting but no response coming by mail and phone also.i send the mail to this id [protected]@airtel.in but no response came. please help me out on this issue.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Took Money But Installation Not Done

I purachased a new airtel Digital TV connection paying Rs.2640 online after talking to a marketting executive names Santhosh from Airtel.Now after the third day of purchase also my Connection is not installed.I called nearly 20 times to the Airtel customer care office in Banglore ([protected])Every time they will ask for my details .Nearly more than 30 minutes they will keep on arguing with me and trasferring my call here and there and finally they will disconnect with out any customer service manners.Now I got trapped I am not getting My connection installed or getting back my money.This is the worst service I have ever seen.My Airtel customer ID is [protected].My Order ID is 1150671.

    Hi,

    Have been receiving threatening calls regarding some court complaints filed in Delhi for some fraud done by me in Delhi as per them, but the fact is I have have never in my life been to Delhi, told them several times and they started threatening about coming to the house and they will see me in or out of the house, they have my address as my name and address are floating on all the internet website, guess they got my number from there.

    The phone comes from Delhi Airtel GSM from the number [protected]. Need help regarding this matter.

    when ever we are asking any thing to customer care they will use one setup ether send the SMS or they will post pone the task by saying some thing

    Pls send me mail I want to Switch over the Services Provider to some else.

    Air tel is costly services provider in country as of now . but earlier services is good .but now very poor services in any point technical and support Both

    Send me final bill soft copy so I will pay it and close the account for ever

    Migration

    You also have the option of converting your Postpaid connection to a Prepaid one (Magic card). By doing this, you will be able to retain the same mobile number.

    Transfer

    The mobile connection can be transferred to any of your friend or relative in the city if you do not wish to retain the same in your name.

    Safe Custody

    The connection can be placed under Safe Custody, wherein you will be charged a nominal charge of Rs.99/- (plus 12.36% tax) per month. In such case, reactivation fee of Rs.250/- will not be charged at the time of reactivation. A connection can be kept under Safe Custody for a maximum period of 180 days. In case you wish to entail the safe custody option, the payment for the same will have to be sent along with a request for placing the connection under Safe Custody. Any pending payments against this mobile connection will also have to be cleared.

    AirTel — Threatening calls

    For past 4 MONTHS I am NOT using Airtel service, but still I am getting Airtel Bills. Even though placed a request for stopping sending/Processing bills I am getting same.
    Also please note that the amount 1062.40 which was credited twice to Airtel, is gone no where. Because of this reason I stopped using same after being a customer for more than 2 years. I have started getting “threatening calls” regarding this. Why should I suffer for a mistake made by Airtel? Now adays their service is horrible.

    Airtel — Moble Number Disconnected

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    It is to bring to your notice that, I was using Airtel number - [protected] for more than a year. In the month of October 2008 I had requested to put my number under safe custody, as this was Karnataka Number & I had to shift to Coimbatore for some time.

    I had requested to release the number from safe custody on 11th of Jan 09 that time I was told that the number had already been released on 9th of Jan 09. I had used this number till 20th of Jan 09, all of a sudden on 21st my mobile screen shows the message "SIM INACTIVE".

    Since then I might have called more than 50 times to their customer care and have visited their outlet also for getting back the number but all in vain.

    No one is giving any positive response every time they have different excuses for me & once they find themselves trapped, they cut the phone .

    Finally I was told that my number has been permanently disconnected. How can they do so without consumer's concern?

    I am a software professional can't bear to change my number at this point in time, I want to retain that number.

    Please help me out

    Yes Agree very much, they never disconnect the number saying some excuses...very pathetic service. Iam going throught the same experience now. Only wat to protest is through by word of mouth, Iam happy I could stop atleast 5 of my friends in taking an Airtel connection. If all o[censored]s do the same thing definitely ther will be an impact.

    AirTel — not getting bill

    I have taken post paid connection more than 1 month ago but still not get my bill, what to do????????????

    Airtel — bill despite my disconnecting Airtel service

    In November last week, 2009, I gave an application to Airtel customer care Centre on Tilak Road, Pune 4, requesting them to stop service to my prepaid mobile no[protected]. That day I paid all dues and stopped using this number. After this I got a negative bill of Rs. - 10.19 dated 12th Dec. 09 indicating that my wish has been duly noted and executed. But now today I have received a bill of Rs. 300 as rental charges plus tax of Rs. 30.90 for the period 11th Dec 09 to 10th January 10. I have not made a singlr call during this period. This is clearly seen on the bill also. In fact I have thrown away the sim card. Pl prevail upon Airetel to stop sending me any bill.

    I get threatening call from this number .. Please block this sim.. i cant go for a complain or given any information... his number is[protected]. He is using abusive language on phone with me.. i am a girl and i have sleepless nights due to him....
    Since two days my airtel fixed line has gone off, there is no dial tone, and there is no way I can lodge a complaint as nowhere could I find the number to which I can lodge the complain through any phone other than airtel. I have already received a thankyou message from airtel hoping that my problem has been solved, but my phone is still off line. Anybody who can help? I fail to understand why these companies come out with some new product every second day, while their old products could not be serviced at all. Also, airtels way of giving connections for broadband as well as fixed line is strange, They just break open the locks and enter private properties and connect to the boxes placed inside the private properties. Is this how they run the companies?

        I have registered myself for the Airtel Broadband connection in the Month of July 4th, 2012 and paid the initial amount of 1017/- to the Airtel agent. But due to some technical problem the agent told me that the connection can not be provided and the amount will be returned within 7 working days. But till today(1st march, 2012) I did not get any amount back.

        this is really bad. A company who does not care for the customers, not going to survive in long run.

          hello sir,airtel, india.
          on my airtel SIM mob. no. [protected] i got recharged 1gb 3 g internet pack with 30 days validity for rs. 255.00 on 20-02-13 at 09.29 pm through transID[protected] at jabalpur MP.

          i had main balance for phone call on 20-02-13 of rs.350.00 approx. which was found zero on 24-02-13.

          i contacted mr. RAM of customer care on 27-02-13, who told that 3G PACK WAS NOT SHOWING IN THE ACCOUNT AND MAIN BALANCE WAS DEDUCTED 100 % FOR INTERNET USE ON 20-02-13 & 21-02-13................when i asked reason for such irregular deduction, he did not reply.

          please look into the matter and do the needful -

          1. to recharge 1gb 3 g internet pack with 30 days validity for rs. 255.00 NOW which i have already paid but not actually HAVE with [protected].
          2. to refund my main balance of rs.350.00 approx. which was deducted without my consent or permission.

          Airtel 3G pack — customer care could not be contacted

          I purchased a prepaid 3g pack internet device , but the same stopped functioning. I could not contact their customer care to register complaints .

            I made a complaint with Reference no.CGPSC[protected], for my airtel mobile [protected] on 24 feb 2013 and i was promised that my problem will be solved till 26 feb 2013. Unfortunately nothing was done and today when i tried to call customer care no. To talk to the representative to know the status of my complaint, i couldnt talk to anyone as the call was ended up automatically when it should get connected to talk to the person at the last step. I have recharged my mobile with rs. 98 pack on 22 feb which a waste for me till now. I really want to know why my complaint is not taken into account and why i couldnt talk to one of the best network providers customer service.

            The complaint was made again and i was assured that my problem will be resolved till today. But nothing has been done yet. Yesterday customer care people called me twice and they assured me again. I getting really frustrated. I want the solution as i am suffering from 22 feb.

              sir,
              i am parveen , using airtel mobile prepaid phone no.[protected] .on this some services are automatically activated like cricket commentary or hello tunes etc and amount is daily deducted from from the balance . after so much of struggling if i contact to customer care which is paid call by this service provider, they simply say that you have activated this service. after request they discontinue the service but detected amount is not refunded back .i also told them three months ago that i do not like such type of services and in future please do not activate such services .but no use they do their own.

              AirTel — Deducting Money for

              Hello My name is Chirag and my mobile no. is [protected],

              I am using Airtel sim in my mobile. After every 15 to20 days i have been charging, and my balance is deducting from my account, without using any services. Nearly 1 month ago i had called to register complaints because i had activated DO NOT DISTURBED serivce, and i am getting service message about deducting my balance for subscribing services which had not activated, and when i had called to customer care, they said that you had activated service so you have been charged. After some calls i get my balance returned (my complaints no are: CPPWC[protected], CBDOV[protected], W[protected], CPPWC[protected], CBDPP[protected] and many more).

              But today (16/02/2011 nearly 6.00 pm) i had noticed that from half an hour, after every 2 to 3 mins my balance is deducting with Rs.0.75. When I called to customer care they said that i am using GPRS and if i will delete the GPRS settings from phone then i will not not be charged, but settings of GPRS are in my mobile for nearly 3 years, i had not charged for GPRS without using it, when i complaint to customer care, without hearing my point they had disconnected line.


              So please help me that i had been complaining to Airtel customer care for a long time but no satisfied answer and service is till provided.

              I've used/using idea, vodafone and airtel. Among these, airtel is worst when it comes to customer service.

              I will advice you to go to airtel customer relationship center near you and complaint there. Doesn't it feel like BSNL???? But that the way with aritel nowadays.

              I am using Airtel connection on my mobile, but at the date of 27.04.2012 i had 78Rs(approx) on my phone but after 4 pm when i saw my phone balance i shocked bcoz it was showing 3Rs(approx) - mean money was reduced 75Rs(approx) from my phone, so i called to 198 customer care and they said "i have complained about deducting money to the company and your deducted money will be returned til 1.5.2012 and your complaining number is [protected]" but after date of 1.5.2012 i did not receive any phone from the company also i did not receive any deducted money from the company so again i called to the customer care at 1.5.2012, then they said please wait for 24 hours so i waited 24 hours then again i called 2.5.2012 again they said please wait 24 hours again i waited 24 hours again i called 3.5.2012 again they said please wait 24 hours again i called 4.5.2012 then they said we r complaining again so u will have to wait for some days tel me how long should i wait , tel me what should i do plz help me, right now i m very sad

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                I Ashok Kumar Singh, clerk, civil court, siwan (Bihar) 841226, bought Samsung GT-S 6102 Mobile Phone in Nov 2012 with offer printed on the box as “ Free 500MB of 3g data + 100MB 3g data every month for 12 months *Airtel “. Condition does not disclose any amount in rupees to continue the offer benefit. I inserted a new prepaid airtel sim Mobile Number [protected]. It was activated on 30 nov 2012 and I talked to customer care in details about the offer, who replied there is no need to recharge for data user may recharge for talk time according to his/her requirement. There after free 500mb 3g data was provided on 30 nov 2012 valid till 30 dec 2012. After expiry of valid date, I talk to customer care and 100mb 3g data was provided me on 30 dec 2012 valid till 29 jan 2013. After expiry of valid date i.e.29 jan 2013. I talked several times to customer care to provide 100mb 3g data per month till dec 2013 without interruption on or before valid date. But no data was provided and my call was not received by customer care. I missed several emails, got monetary loss and mental tension. I met to your local service provider where Mr. Ashwani your sales manager (North Bihar) mobile no [protected] heard my problem and see the Xerox copy offer printed on the box of Samsung mobile phone and message the problem to your concern. By effort of Mr. Ashwani 500mb 3g data was provided me on 14 feb 2013 valid till 14 march 2013. While I am liable to be provided only 100mb 3g data per month till dec 2013 but Mr. Ashwani did not assure me to continue the offer benefits. That is why I complain and request you to provide me 100mb 3g data per month till dec 2013 without any interruption on or before the last valid date. If it is not done, it will be treated as breach of contract (offer) and matter will be forwarded to TRAI, a society against corruption for Janhit Yachika and a case against Airtel will be filled under consumer protection act in consumer forum at siwan (Bihar).

                    I've been requesting for a recording remote control as mentioned on the website, from the 7th February 2013 through the costumer care no [protected], and they have been do their best to assist me. This has been going on a daily basis, and i have been told that the engineer would visit me at my residence. On two occasions i was contacted by the engineer.saying that he would come giving me a time, after waiting for him he did not turn up.                           My Name is Kishore B residing in Tirupathi.
                          I lost My SIM Card and approach Bharathi Airtel Service Center in Tirupathi 31st december 2012. They issued a new SIM Card, SIM Card No is[protected]H-3. My mobile no is [protected]. I had submit my ADHAAR Card for identity proof. After 4 hours SIM got activated. I had recharge 50Rs to that number. I had used for 3 days then that number was disconnected, Again i had approached the same service provider. They said your number was released to free number because you are not using for 28days. Then i asked them why you issue a SIM card. They said you ask customer care. I called customer care they said this number is not activated and not recharged. That is why i need to raise a complaint against the Bharthi Airtel. They are not responding propely and they behave anything. I said i am going to complaint on Consumer form, they said go and raise complaint nobody will do nothing on us. Kindly Raise a complaint on them.

                          AirTel — SIM REPLACEMENT

                          I HAVE TAKEN AN MOBILE CONNECTION FROM AIRTEL AND AFTER ONE YEAR MY SIM GOT PROBLEM AND NOW I WANT TO CHAGE MY SIM THE COMPANY SAYS THAT IT CANNOT BE CHANGED. AS A STUDENT I HAVE CIRCULATED THIS NO. EVERYWHERE AND NOW AFTER VERIFICATION FOR THAT AND NUNBER OF VISIT TO THE AIRTEL OFFICE THEY ARE NOT SOLVING MY PROBLEM AND HAD ALSO DISCONNECTED MY SERVICE.

                          I register a compaint with airtel [protected] on 10/09/2010 at 08:45PM for replacement of my mobile sim for mobile no [protected]. and today is 170/09/2010 evening and everyday i am calling your cuastomer care no in order to get the sim delivered and people are taking complaint and nothing happening. Please look into this matter in order to get this done.

                            I had done recharge (TopUp) of Rs.300/- on 27/02/2013 on which I should get Talktime of Rs.310/- but I got only Rs.264 as talktime. When I contact Airtel customer care they are saying that we can't do anything. Before doing recharge I had confirmed with there representative about the recharge and they had told me that on topup of 300/- i will get talktime of 310/- but now they are simply saying that they can't do anything and they they had talk is really horrible. now they had put my no. in blacklist, so i m unable to contact customer care also.                               Airtel — Stop the professional calls of Airtel

                              I had complained Airtel customer care to stop the Airtel professional calls but no response of Custumer care.
                              Many times my balance was decrease and when I ask the what is the reason for this they said you had subscribe Hello tune
                              service.
                              They start any service without customer permission.
                              so I am unhappy for Airtel Service.

                                Sir,
                                I had purchased a data card whose number is [protected] in month of novemeber,2012. I had submitted my company ID card and my PASSPORT Photocopy to the airtel employee for verification. Now i was using this datacard and submitting my till january,2013. after that i decided i will not be using it, so go to the AIRTEL center in Goregaon to cancel this datacard and to pay what ever in my account left. but there i got to know that this number is not alloted to me and some one other name as sanjay sampat and they will not cancel it as you are not sanjay sampat. Now what i was supposed to do. I mailed these AIRTEL helpline email id and contaced AIRTEL customer , both of which told me they will not cancel it and provide any information regarding it as you are not the customer. So i stopped using that SIM. Now i don't want these AIRTEL guys to come out to me and say that you have this much amount of money pending or now the sim is registered to your account or anything else whatever they gave reason. And i would suggest AIRTEL company to block this number. Thanking you

                                  To whomsoever it may concern,
                                  I have been a customer withe Airtel for the last 8 yrs and my current no is [protected]. MY Airtel sim card validity expired on 27th Feb 2013 and i have tried various recharge amounts as suggested by your website and customer care, which I have to mention was nothing less than useless. All these recharge amounts ( Rs 51 as suggested by consumer care, Rs 73, 27 and 110 as suggested by your website) got rejected under various reasons ranging from "not a valid amount" to "beyond scope of recharge". I would request you to look into theis matter asap and also look into thee attitude of your consumer care executives as thee current attitude is not going down well withe thee customers.

                                    At my previous address I had Airtel braodband connection that I moved to my new address. It has four months since the move and some 10 calls to Airtel, but they have still not updated my address and keep on delivering bill on my old defunct address.
