    Complaint on Huge Bill Amount of airtel Postpaid Connection,

    As I was using the Airtel Postpaid connection since last 3 years, My number was [protected], and all was working well, no due, no complaint, In last 3 years my bill amount was always below Rs 1000/-however in December 2012, they have raised my bill amount to 35000/-, without any intimation to me that your bill has been exceeded at your credit limit, as my phone bill credit limit was 2500/-, as I had activated 2G plan of 4 GB download in 249/- p.m. after that they sent me only one message that i have till now, that your mobile bill amount has been 48000/- and please pay at the earliest, .
    so here my concern is if my phone credit limit was set to 2500/- then how did they allowed to increase the amount to 48000/-, and why didn't they informed or message to me that your credit limit has been exceeded,
    then why i got the message that your bill has been reached at 48000/- then i called to customer care and asked me why my bill has been increased so much, & why didn't u not inform me, then they didn't reply on it, and next day in the night suddenly they stopped my outgoing call, without any intimation to me, then again i called to customer care, so they was telling that you have to pay your outstanding bill,
    I requested and called to customer care so many times to start my outgoing but they didn't start the outgoing, , then after couple of days they disconnect/block the Sim.one more thing which I had checked in my bill details, that if i activated 2G internet Plan then how come they charged the amount at the 3G, which is showing in the BIll.
    Hence I request to you to sort out this issue.

    I have all the proofs and messages for activation of plans services etc.

    This amount is very very big and unimaginable it is very shocking and if something happen to my mental or physical condition Airtel will be responsible for that.

    Airtel — About my cerdit limit

    i have asked u many times to reduce my cerdit limit. but u people are not responding properly. could u pleasse reduce my credit limit to RS.500. i hope the posive reply from ur side. And i have seen twice that my mobile charges are faulty. So please look at it once. By the way my mobile number is [protected].

    AirTel — increase in bill amount without using its services

    i got a sms from airtel that i m running high usages in tune of rs 20000 in just 15 days as bill cycle starts at 5th.i m very much worried and surprised as i have not used so much.usually i get monthly bill appx.1000 to 1500. i do not understand how this is happning.seems someone has hacked it or airtel is adding other bill to me.
    usages as on 17.2.2009 4.30pm rs.19748.60
    usages as on 18.2.2009 9.30am rs.19996.70
    usages as on 18.2.2009 8.30pm rs.20024.20 .
    this is to inform u that i have stopped making calls since 17.2.2009 4.30pm.barred voice mail and airtel live, gprs . still amount is increasing it self

    This is to bring to your notice that, I have received a bill for the period of 26/July/09 to 25th Aug/09 vide bill no.[protected]. The total bill abount is Rs.771/-.

    To my surprise, there 7 calls made from my number which is not made by us. The numbers are [protected] & [protected], [protected] dated 27/07/09 to location BANDA (U.P). The calls are made during afternoon time where no family members are there at home. Between 9.30 to 5.30 pm, the flat is always closed. The matter has been reported to vide complaint no:23980618 dtd 5th Sept. After two days, I received a call saying the calls are being made from my telephone.

    Please note that these calls are being made by someone, without using my phone. This has to be thoroughly investigated and replied soon. The amount overcharged should be waived off in the forthcoming bill.

    deactived downloaded services.From you coming calles two times to deactivate on yours cell downloaded services but should not deactived services.and finally i go to Airtel webworld and dial 999 and deactivted services.As per discussion with Mr.Kamal he said to me unnecessary deduct amount credited in your account.But till date could not Credit amount in my account.

    So kindly request you early as possible credit deduct amount.

    I bought airtel connection which i paid 4000 Rs. for the device and 600Rs. for connection,

    it took a week time to start the connection, atlast i got, coz i had already paid the money, i hardly use the device coz, very very slow they dont provide the speed what they say, i did being to the Airtel Galleria. i had waist my time and money for the device.

    But i disconnected the postpaid connection and requested it for prepaid, where i had the Balance which Airtel has to pay around 600 Rs. which i had balance in my account, But still the services was useless, i return the simcard, they promise me to return the money after 45days,

    AND now there are sending me a cheque of Rs:243 Rs.

    I think they should stop fooling customers around, Its better for them to Beg in the Public rather then fooling around.

    I thought its been the fastest connection, i spend 4800 Rs. and this is what the customer is getting back in returns

    Airtel Postpaid — huge bill

    Hi,sir i was with airtel from last 4 months . I was given a plain of 175 rs rental but when a bill came it was 250 rental i talked to them wait for a long queue on phone they told me, pay the bill next bill would be 175 .On the next month result was the same i paid 250 restal for 4 months regularly they didnt do any thing i always call them and request for the same thing..on the 4 rth month i stooped using that and asked them i will only pay the bill when they will reduse my rental but they didnt..my no was [protected]....i was so mentally harrased seeing my bill regularly increasing..
    Now they are calling and they are shouting and abusing me on phone ..i am very depressed by this it s5eems that there is no law in india who can help..the no from which they are abusing me is

    Airtel — WITHOUT USING THE NUMBER GET BILLED FOR 2500

    Hi,
    Am a Software Professional took Airtel Postpaid connection through my company. During initial days i felt am getting moderate bill when days goes on they started billing me[protected]. Finally when i surrender my number they billed me 2500 though i did not use that number for that month, When i dialled them and shouted they reduced my bill to 1000 and they said they give the settlement letter

    I paid 1000 before 2 months till date i did not get my settlement letter instead i started getting call from Airtel asking for rest of the payment

    I shouted them and said i am ready to meet them in consumer court

    AirTel — credit amount

    my mobile no.is [protected] n i did recharged for 200/- on 01/04/11 but i didnt get the amount n i lodged a compalint on 5th n i did spoke with a supervisor anitha she asked me to get it recharged for 27/- which i did n she promised to get back my balance amount by 7th which didnt happened n i called back on 7th n 8th n they said they are going to mail across n by 2 days it will get sorted but as usual nothing happened n i called today that is 11/04 today they are saying the sims life got expired so how come the recharge gone thru when the life of the sim card got expired,these people are just cheating the public not more than that n from today onwards i will try to make as many as friends n family members to move out from airtel to other network becoz these people are cheating n upon that the customer service people ahhhh cant say more waste of time.

    Airtel — Huge bill amount - exceeding the set credit limit

    Hi,

    I own(ed) a mobile post paid connection +[protected]. I had set the credit limit for that number as Rs. 3000 which is for unbilled usage. However, my outstanding amount for the month of June 2011 was Rs. 4855.12, which is an absolute shock.

    When I expressed this concern so many times to so many people in Customer care, complaints and Nodal desk I hear different things. Some say, it is a valid concern and they'll route it to appropriate department. Some say, they give Rs. 500 discount on my June month bill and 15% discount on my next six months bill. Some said, it's due to 3G usage in three days which is close to 240MB. Some others, said 3G usage for three days is 91MB. I am getting frustarted with all this. Finally, I am also told that the charges are valid. Because of all this, I've not made my outstanding bill payments and my number was made inactive.

    I can not accept if my outstanding amount for any month exceeds my set credit limit, which is for unbilled usage. It is the right of the customer to decide how much he can afford to pay for mobile per month and thats why I'd set my credit limit to Rs.3000.

    Please look into this at the earliest.

    airtel /postpaid — no follow up of the complaint of dec 2011,even after 7 reminders

    in month of dec 2011 raised request for signal problem at my home,after that 7 reminder put by me at costumer care.but till date problem is there.

    Thanks for your prompt response, but the thing is that today I received legal notice from Airtel, so Please advise what should I do in that case.

    As the Amount is very high and I am not in that condition to pay this unnecessary billed amount which was raised without any intimation to me. If the amount was increasing above the credit limit (2500) then it should have been informed to me,

    So Please Suggest me the appropriate solution to avoid this and regarding that notice which is sent to me.

    1. My Credit Limit was set to 2500/- pm, then how come the amount increase beyond this Limit.
    2, I have activated 2G Plan with 4 GB download 249/- pm, then how come its converted to 3g which is showing in my bill,
    3. I checked my bill and found that 2g usage is 2000 rs, and 3g usage amount is 35000 something, so can you please tell me why &
    when my 2g plan converted to 3g, and do u have any request of mine for 2g to 3g conversion.

    Hence give me the reason that why I should pay 35000 rupees.

        I have been a customer of airtel broadband[protected] since last few years. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to move from my place and I requested for a disconnection. I got a call from the people of their retention department and they told me that there is a facility of connection being put on hold indefinitely without any charge.

        I paid the remaining amount in full in cash and also got the same written in receipt. They also reversed my Jan'13 bill because there was no usage and as we were doing final settlement.

        Now, airtel guys have started calling me again and the harrasment from them continues.

        Through your medium I would like to make people aware of the dubious approach of airtel in handling its customers.

        Airtel Broadband — Billing after disconnection of airtel landline and broadband.

        1.I have requested for deactivation of my landline number[protected] in name of Vikram Singh on 27 Jan10 Airtel referance number 305579.
        2.But calling on 22nd feb10 Airtel ref number[protected] I came to know still request was in process and executive confirmed me that billing will be maximum would be till 04Feb10. For deactivation confirmation I got call on 19 Feb10 and I confirmed for dectivation.
        3.I have paid Rs. 2445 ( Dec09 to Feb10 bill) amount deducted through my credit card ECS. So again I called up to CC Airtel referance number[protected] to check and I came to know that request was still under progress.
        4.I went to customer care and gave a written confirmation to stop ECS payment from my credit card.
        5.Today I received a SMS stating my landline bill for 13441315 is generated and the invoice amount is Rs. 752.
        6.Can you please take me out of this maze?

        I HAVE A BROADBAND AND LANDLINE CONNECTION NO [protected] UNDER UNLIMITTED ACCESS SCHEME AT A MONTHLY RENT OF RS 649/ = PLUS TAXES AND CALL CHARGES. NOW IAM LEAVING FOR ABROAD FOR 3 MONTHS AND SHALL BE BACK AFTER 10TH MARCH2011. ACCORDINGLY PLEASE DISCONNECT THE ABOVE CONNECTION UNDER INTIMATION TO ME AT MY E MAIL ADDRESS.LAST BILL FOR RS 949= HAVE BEEN PAID BY ME ON 7TH DEC 2010 THANKS AND EARLY ACTION NIRMALA SABU

          Hi,
          Good morning,
          Today morning between 2:50 to 3:15am I had given call in customer care 121 from my number [protected] for inquiring about my complaint which was not resolved till time. I called up thrice for the same thing every time assurance was given of 4 hrs for resolving the problem, I made first complaint around 6:30pm yesterday and the problem got resolved after 12 hrs and had to call up three times for that.
          When I called up at 3:00am representative ask me about ma details I told him about the details I told him everything except the middle name of company but he wanted the exact information and he haven’t entertained me then in a professional manner I appreciate him on that but as my query was not that big or related to any account information and I was just asking about ma complaint number (f[protected]) that it has been resolved till time or not.
          His name was Ravinder else Rajender he was not talking in a professional manner as one should talk as a representative of a brand company, after getting the middle name when I tried calling 121 my call was dropped thrice and by my number till time I can’t connect to customer service may be I have been blacklisted and if so for what and why ,Then I called up same time from another number of my brother that is ([protected])then only I was able to connect customer care.
          Then the same guy picked up the call and now there was no profesionalǐzam shown by him regarding me he kept on arguing and complaint number was also not send after the call got disconnected.
          I want a answer about my dropped calls about why I am not able to connect in customer care till time ,why my complaint took 12 hrs to get resolved and why customer care representative behaved rudely

          I am based and operate out of New Delhi and maintain an Airtel # [protected].

          Back in April&#039;14, prior to going overseas to Vietnam and China on a business trip, I had called up local Airtel office and specifically requested that while my International Roaming may please be activated, the Data Services during the period of travel may PLEASE NOT BE ACTIVATED - and which understanding and confirmation was given to by the Airtel Rep who called me few hours prior to departure regarding same.

          But realsied during my stay overseas that i seem to be getting charged for Data Services courtesy your frequent SMS&#039;s. On my return back I immediately complained same but was told by your Customer Care that once the Bill was issued the issue would be addressed.

          Your Bill arrives with a fancy amount billed of approx Rs 30, 000 and odd and when complaint made again there is no response.M/while, I have made 2 part payments of Rs 5, 000/- and Rs 3, 000/- and informed your Solitaire Customer Service Center and was assured that the Bill was being addressed and issue resolved with data charges being removed as well as adjust for the part payments received and the revised amount informed so that payment could be made and issue closed.

          Its been One week and have not heard anything from your Solitaire Center office as was assured and today I realise all my outgoing calls have been blocked without any out notice.

          This is absolutely disgusting and a very unprofessional and immoral business practice adopted by Airtel and must be ashamed to resort to such practises. Is this the way Mr Sunil Mittal runs his business.Just having fancy slogans and advertisements is not everything in business.

          Here is a customer who has been informed that the mistake of over billing by Airtel would be resolved and informed of the new amount to be paid and settled and waiting like a stupid fool for the past one week to 10 days for your response and today without any prior intimation or notice conveniently block all outgoing calls.

          I expect someone responsible to address this issue immediate please and resolve this issue at the earliest.

            I am using Airtel 3G Internet services since Feb 2011. Mobile no: +91 [protected]. Recently, in the month of January, I recharged for Rs.955/- (6GB of 3G DATA Valid for 30 Days) on 15th Jan 2013. I did not get enough speed, and so I called up Airtel Customer Care just to get no help from their side. Each time I call them, they give me a tentative dead line and they never resolved my problem. I have been asking for refund to which they did not respond at all.
            Please note that I did work fine in November, and I do have a screenshot of the same speed test report. This is make sure I live only in 3G covered area.
            Someone guide me how to sue Airtel in this regard. please.

            Thiis is to i.form you that airtel has shown its height o[censored]nprofessionalism, i activated a 3g plan worth 250... And tbe money is charged and they even didnot activate d plan. And the most worst part is that there customer care is just for show.... Never ever pick up d call and once u call d customer ... D call automatically disconnects..airtel should be barred iN INDIA.. Pathetic service

              Hi,

              I want to bring to your notice the issues which I have been facing on my Airtel Mobile No. [protected].

              At present i am in Chennai and on romaing so it is becoming very difficult for me to reach out to customer cae also.
              No one in Tamil Nadu is having the details of my number.

              I had a 3G plan of Rs250 per month which has a data limit of 1GB. On using the plan for around 20 days in which I used around
              800MB data.

              I send an sms on 11th Feb for stopping the service. I called up customer care than and they told me that I will be charged
              on prorated basis and which sounded quite wierd to me as in that case i had to give heavy usless charge for the internet.

              I told customer care to revert the services so that I will pay for 1GB i.e. Rs 250 for that month. To this he did not listened
              and disconnected the call. I tried reaching several times but no help.

              In the meantime my plan also got changedto 2G , which i did.

              After that some customer care excutive told me that i will get a call back in 24 hours , and it is more than 12 days for it now.


              For 3G servies i have been charged from 20/01/2013 to 11/02/2013 Rs 185.48 -- Charged on prorated Basis
              For 2G servies i have been charged from 13/02/2013 to 19/02/2013 Rs 199.00 -- Charged for complete month


              The above two plans of yours have discrpancy. For one you are charging on a prorated basis and fot the other you are charging for
              full month even though i had used the services for 7 days.


              I wrote them the avove mail and have asked them many a times after that to provide me the information of my usage of 3G services from 20 Jan-12 Feb , which i know is less than 1 GB. But they dot understand that and are charging heavily on me for it.

              Please help me put on this.

                Sir,
                I have top up my cell phone [protected] for 2 x 555 at chennai India,during Sep.2012, before leaving to New Zealand. I will be here at NZ till June 8th '13. My problem is call charges are getting detected with out making any calls or receiving any!

                For example on[protected] at 21-14hrs without attending a incoming call from [protected], a call charge of Rs.100, is detected,then between this time and about 23-20hrs a call charge of Rs.99 is detected stating the call duration is 00:02:45, for which there is no call log at all.,it means I didn't made any call.

                This is only a example,But I have lost my money many times ,from sep.2012 to till date without any use of my Mobil.kindly look into my a/c and make necessary correction to credit the wrongly detected amounts. I have made only 2 or 3 SMS only.,and there is no other uses in this period.

                AirTel — Deduction From Pre Paid A/C

                On 26.09.09 when i was in Banglore, a sum of Rs.99/- was deducted from my mobile pre paid a/c towards VAS PACK 99. My mobile no. is [protected]. I immediately unsubscribed via SMS for which unsubscribe SMS confirmation was received by me. However, the amount of Rs.99/- deducted was not refunded. I contacted airtel customer care a number of times but was informed that they do not have access to the network since the mobile no. is of Jharkhand state. I sent a SMS message to AIR TEL office in Ranchi having no.[protected] reading as follows :
                "PLS. NOTE RS.99 HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY A/C IF IT'S NOT CREDITED IMMD. I WILL TAKE ACTION'
                I received a SMS reply reading as follows:
                "Plz.visit ARC in SPG Mart ... Bahu Bazar and register a complaint.
                You have been unsubsubscibed from the Air Tel VAS PACK 99 service."
                To this I replied via SMS as follows:
                "I am based at Ghatsila& it's not possible to visit. Pls. ensure the amt. is credited or else i will discontinue Air Tel and lodge complaint with consumer court"
                I did not receive any further communication thereafter.
                Today i.e.2nd October 2009, I contacted the Air Tel customer service a number of times. At 15.26 hrs. I was asked to hold the line to speak to the senior. I held on for 17 minutes but did not get any one on the line. Subsequently, when I dial the Customer Service either the line is cut off or I get a prerecorded message asking me to SMS to lodge complaint .
                I am at a loss to understand how such cheats are allowed to operate.

                Airtel Prepaid — Wrong chares deduction from my prepaid account

                I am airtel service customer having lifetime valadity prepaid account on my cell [protected]. I had availed your 63 recharge scheme in the last month on 17th September offering 40 paise airtel to airtel and 60 paise airtel to others for two month;s period. After two days I had recharged with Rs. 88 full talktime option. But I got less recharge from you. I tried to ensure about the problem by visiting to your mulund airtel gallery but didnot get any help as they said that they could not furnish information regarding call details. Again yesterday only, I recharged with Rs. 205 full talktime option. I made four calls after recharge not exceeding 10 mins. max. period for which you deducted Rs. 40 from my account. I tried to communicate this problem through sms and asked for customer care executive's contact no. But I didnot get any help from your side. If you are not interested in solving your customer's problems, I would like to discontinue your service henceforth. Please do not provide any of your services otherthan incoming & outgoing calls on my cell without my permission. I hope I will get positive feedback from your side as early as possible. If possible please provide my prepaid account charges details for last two months.

                Dear Sir,
                on 14 Jan 2010 I got a call from airtel for whether I wanted to change a song in hallow tune. I astonished and said them that I have not activated any such services and there is no question to change any song by then. I also confirmed from customer service on the same time. They also repetadely confirmed That in my account there is no any services is active. On 16 th I got message saying rs. 30/- diducted from my account. Again I contacted to customerand they assured to solve the problem by 19 th only after repeted query. On 19 th thrice customer executive connected to their supervisor they disconnected the line delibarately. I am fedup of their untrained and callous behavour. Now they have disconnected the option to contact customer care from my phone.
                Kindly take such action so that I can get the amount back.

This is so sad to inform you that there were deduction in both the numbers because of hello tune services.                 Airtel — Invalid Deduction of Rs 200 from my mobile

                Sir I have the mobile SIM of Airtel Company. On 03 Aug 2011 the company deducted Rs 200 from my mobile without my subscription to any service. Later on 03 Aug 2011 when i talked with Consumer Care they told that Helotune has been in your mobile for which Rs 200 has been deducted from your mobile. When i told them that i don't need that service and please give my amount back in my mobile they don't responded on my complaint. The Consumer Care rep told me that your complaint has been lodge and we will send you the complaint number by SMS. But no SMS was sent to me. On 06 Aug when i again talk with them i come to know that no complaint is submitted from my side. When i repeated my compalint again and again no satisfactory reply was given by any of the service representative from consumer care.

                Sir this is a fraud if a company deduct such amount without the subscription of consumer to any service. Sir please do the needful to bring my money back in my mobile.                   This is Shafeer, i made request for Airtel Broadband connection. Within 3 hours executives from Airtel came and collected 1100/- money, it happened on 7th March. After that i keep on called to Airtel office receptionist(who knows Tamil only) regrading connection, that lady keep on telling like will give connection this morning or evening. Finally i made call to Airtel BoradBand Toll free no :[protected], executive replied with some shocking news i.e, as of now it's not possible to give connection in my area and also it will take 30 days to refund money. But they have taken money from me within 3 hours and that receptionist is keep on speaking in Tamil, i told to her i do not Tamil.

                  Please help me either to get a connection or to get my money back as soon as possible. Because of this i lost the service of other service providers(BSNL,Tikona,etc) as well as money also.

                    Hi,

                    I have applied for Airtel broadband connection through online on 03-Mar-2013 (Ref [protected]). Very next day i got the call from airtel and they collected my house locality to check the feasibility. Later they called me again and confirmed that feasibility is there and i will get the connection once submit the requred documents. On 04-May-2013, one person from collection agent came to home and collected required documents along with advance rental of Rs. 5750/-.Same day i got an SMS from airtel that they did received my documents and my request will be processed in next 3 working days. (Ref number:[protected]

                    On 07-Mar-2013, i called up customer care to get the status of my request and they did not have any info. So, i decided not to go this connection and asked customer care person to raised a request for cancellation. In another few minutes i got a call from one person from airtel (His number is [protected]) there is no feasibility to get the connection. So i did asked him to return all the documents which i submitted which applying and that person is reluctant to reply.

                    Now my money is with airtel and they did collected without done any service for me. When i asked the customer care, they were telling i will get it in next 21 working days. Which is more than a month.

                    Like wise so much money Airtel is making without doing any service to the customer and they are increasing their credit balance with people's money. Who will pay the interest for those 21 working day (i assume i might get my money with in 21 days.)

                    1. Initially Airtel said, my house has feasibility to have internet connection.
                    2. Once they collected the money, now they are telling no feasibility to get the connection.
                    3. They need 21 working days to give the money back to customer. Will they interest for those 21 days?

                    Can you please take necessary action against such cheating company. Since many people are facing this issue and Airtel is enjoying with people's money.

                    Airtel — advance money not given back

                    I am engineering student studying in Indore away from my home. I had applied for Airtel broadband connection on 23 Feb 2009 through an executive named Pramod (contact no. [protected]) & deposited Rs 700 as an advance for the connection. I was given assurance that the broadband connection would be given within 4 days.Later I was informed that due to some technical reasons I won't be able to get a connection in that area & the sum of advance would be given by 10th of March. Now the people are not responding to this issue.Kindly help.

                    Airtel — collecting money & not given back

                    June 18, 2010- I write again as I did not get any update/call regarding this. Ref: Qrc1111674
                    June 19, 2010- I get a response confirming the cancellation request is logged. Ref: 34036754. It also states the rental component is disconnected effective June 16.
                    August 11, 2010- I write to inquire about the balance Airtel owes me.Ref: Qrc1478121
                    August 11, 2010- I get a response saying that a check of Rs 465 has been approved on Aug 9, 2010. Ref:[protected]
                    September 10, 2010- I write to inquire where the check is.Ref: Qrc1701032
                    September 10, 2010- I get a response confirming that the services have been deactivated on July 21 and there is an out standing of Rs 162.Invoice dated 27/08/2010. Final bill will be generated on Oct 16.
                    September 10, 2010- I write to know why was my account billed again. When it was holding Rs 465 and rental was disconnected on June 16. Ref: Qrc1705122
                    No response to this email.
                    September 15, 2010- I write to nodal.[protected]@airtel.in. Asking for a detailed statement of my account as well as the settlement check.
                    September 15, 2010- Auto response mentioning 10 days time required for a quality resolution.
                    September 21, 2010- I receive a statement of charges. It shows I had Rs 400.39 in my account after Jun to Jul bill. In the Jul to Aug bill you have charged me Rs 162.24 for I don't know what.

                    So From September 21st to October 26, I have been getting sms from your guys saying my complaint is being worked upon. I still have no clue of my check.

                    Do you have the capability to resolve this? Or you are also one of the Zero IQ guy sitting in a call center.

                    Get your act together.

                    I had sent the mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com on 19th march and share my contact details. Later only auto reply came as my query will be addressed on 1 working day (refer attached mail reply). Today is 21st march 2013 and I think that 1 day did not come yet and airtel is not working from 19th march.

                    Situation of hope to get my money is even worse now.

                    I should go to consumer court to file a complaint rather discussing in this form. That is my next step.

                        I have Airtel prepaid mobile connection with mobile number: [protected].

                        For the last six months, i have been deducted Rs.2/- per day for Health Tips Service, value added service which I have never requested for.

                        On 11.3.2013, I have contacted the customer service No.155223, mentioned in a message sent by AT-ARWINF, and complained this and asked to stop all value added services with immediate effect. Further, I directed that I should not be given any value added service without my written request.

                        The customer executive, told that he has just then stopped all the Value Added services and I will get a message that the service is stopped for me. Then I received a message "Hope the concern related to your airtel mobile has been resolved to your satisfaction. Your Ref.No. is CBD0V" sent byt AT-AIRCCM. at 11:48 am on 11.3.2013.

                        BUT, BUT, again, i received a message at 2:25 pm on the same day (11.03.2013) that "YOU HAVE BEEN RENEWED FOR HEALTH_1 SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE FROM Airtel. You have been charged Rs.1.0" from AT-AIRINF.

                        First starting the value added service which I have never asked for, is ILLEGAL on the part of AIRTEL.

                        Airtel's again renewing the value added pack even after My complaint and their confirmng that the service is stopped, is CHEATING.

                        Hence,I request to stop all value added services immediately, IMMEDIATELY.

                          I am using airtel prepaid number [protected] Regularly some amount is being deducted from my airtel connection no on account of data/internet charges. I tried to contact and register my complaint but the customer care does not listen at all.I am totally frustrated.And all the customer care nos including 121 doesn't give us option to talk to the customer care officer neither the option to De-activate the services which were not requested.

                          You are advised to refund this amount which is being deducted on and off without taking any permission/feedback from me and deactivate the internet services from my no [protected] which was never opted/ requested by me.

                          Airtel prepaid mobile service — Deduction of amount

                          Dear Sir,
                          I recieved unwanted adv. SMS regarding Hellotunes and songs etc. and the same is subscribed without my request or permission. I have complained many times but no action has been taken against the advetizing/subscribing agencies. Even these subscription are updated on monthly basis.
                          KIndly take necessarry action as soon as possible or allow me to proceed to the consumer court.

                          Airtel Prepaid — Deduction of amount with out permission

                          For the first time, I took Airtel Prepaid service during January, 2008 (Cell[protected]. After that many times I received "ring tones" offer from Airtel that "I you want to down load ring tones at free of cost, then pay Rs 50/-".
                          During february, 2008 I have sent message to Airtel to down load ring tones. They have deducted Rs 50/- from my account and sent message that it is valid only for one month. But within one month period I didn't get any ring tones and the already deducted amount of Rs 50/- is wasted .
                          Hence, I didn't want to continue with this offer and kept quiet. Now in the month of March, 2008, Airtel has sent message that they have deducted Rs 50/- from my account towards renewal of above offer.
                          It is very frustating to see that with out my consent, how this Airtel people have deducted Rs 50/- from my account and renewed "useless" ring tones offer.
                          I request the Airtel authorities to return the deducted amount and not to deduct any amount in future with out any request from the user.

                          AirTel — Deduction of amount in Prepaid connection

                          My Airtel Cell No. [protected] of AP (Hyderabad) is a prepaid connection. Presently it is being used by Wife in my absence, as I am in DR Congo on deputation to UN. In the last 15 days or so, My Prepaid balance suddenly got deducted Rs.500 and Rs.400 respectively in different occassions. It is sure and confirmed that my wife has not used this amount for making calls or other service where the amount is deductable. I would request you to look in to the matter of illegal deduction of amount from my prepaid balance by the Airtel.

                          I am forced to write this complaint by Airtel Customer care which does not know information about airtel policy for shifting of broadband and telephone connection at new locations.

                          The request was made to Airtel on 11-June-2008 and every time i got misleading information about how much time it would take to restore the services at new location.

                          I have made 10 calls so far, and wanted to escalate this issues but no one is there to listen about the problem

                          good evening
                          my mob no is [protected] i am making international call but at many times only the ring goes there no body pick the phone . when i saw the balance again they have debeted the amount from phone account i called the customer care so many times but they only telling that this amount wil get credited to u r account in 12hrs-24hrs------ these people r lying. today 3-10-08 i lost my 50rs with out talking .

                          Airtel Prepaid — Frustration

                          I bought an Airtel prepaid sim in the month of July last year, i.e, 2008. Without me doing anything, I was subscribed to the laughter club pack. Now I am charged Re 1 every few days. My main complaint is about the frustratration caused to me due to the extrreme poor standard of the jokes messaged to me everyday. Reading such jokes everyday has caused me great loss of grey cells, patience and composure. I asked my vendor a way to unsubscribe it but they were of no help. I looked up the Airtel website but it too was of no use. So, i request to concerened authorities to look into the matter and take actions against the company and its service for causing me mental damage.

                          This is regarding the Complaint on Airtel Prepaid Connection. My Number is [protected]. Really i am feeling bad for choosing this network.

                          I took New Sim 0n 7th Feb With in one month my Sim card was registration was failed and after that some how it got solved that as keep on follwed up them for 1 week now there is another problem that the Hello Tune which i selected was not working at all but everytime while i am entering to that zone they are charging 20Rs for which it was no where in airtel manuals.

                          A nominal subscription charge of 15 Rs will be charged by them intially afterwards some 1Rupee per day is charged according to the manual but i don't know what is going on?

                          I am looking for their action and i called several times but i am unable to get the solution.

                          Really its Poor service and Charges are leived on consumers illegally.

                          Y mobile no. [protected]-on 27/7/10 I have recharged my sim a sum of Rs.100/-. I received a massage from airtel with regard to erecharge at 6.59 P.M. After that I have done only one calll my ballance cut to rs.58/- in one shot. Immediately I called up custmore care 121; they were giving one another nu, i.e. 12118, this is technical department of airtel. I again explained my problem with regard to dedcution of amount but no satisfactory reply has been received. The executive has told me that to call after 24 hours than I would be solved your problem. Yeasterday, again I rang up at 12118 they gave us another no.12149-I rang up on this noumber and gave me another noumber 12150- but no satisfactory reply has been given by the airtel custmor care unit. The airtel com harass me. Amount is notbig issue but it is my right to know whay amount has been dedcuted doning after one call from my mobile.

I was using airtel blackberry weekly internet service upto MAy 8th 2011.i had deactivated the internet service on 8th ,may 2011.but even after that airtel continued debiting Rs. 100 every week for more than 8 weeks.                                     I requested prepaid to postpaid conversion on 5 March 13 and paid INR 250/-. No conversion has taken place and When I raised issue with airtel customer care., they ask me details like Account no. and Order No. No such detail was provided to me so I do not have that information.
                                    I have already provided following details to the Airtel Customer care agent named Sharanamma Patil.

                                    Airtel Postpaid — NOP not working

                                    since march 5, net on phone is not working. i have been complaining for the past 5 months, and yet there is no considerable result obtained. i want to know whether the service will be provided or not? pls, do the necessary things at the earliest. if I open that NOP, i get a message "you're not authorised to view this page and if problem persists pls contact your operator".

                                      Hello Sir,

                                      I bear a Airtel Postpaid Number from last 6months. Last month I got a call from Airtel that i have completed my 5months with Airtel so as a bonus offer they are provoding me with the free internet service for 1month. But when I recieved the bill for the current bill i was surprised to see that they have charged me for that plan. and when I called the customer care they are so irresponsible and told me that you must verify wih customer care.
                                      We Customers have to call customer care for verfying the plans what airtel executives have provided ? When they are changing/adding the plan then had they verified this ?
                                      Why am I supposed to pay for what I have not registered ?

                                      Please resolve the issue.

                                      AIRTEL-POST PAID — Providing wrong information

                                      i have taken a new airtel postpaid connection. i was told by sms that i neeed to submit a few documents on saturday afternoon and was given 72 hours time. I called them to enquire about my nearest office and they gave me of 1 @ sahara mall (Gurgaon). When i went there i found thatr it was closed for renovation.
                                      Then i called their customer executive and asked for another address. Since i am new in Gurgaon i am not really aware of all the places. Anyway after calling about 3 contact center maangers 1 finally gave me the address for another office and assured me that it would be open by 9:30 A.M. When i managed to reach there after daring the rain i found it closed. So within 72 hours i amde two attempts to submit my documents and failed to do so not to mention the harassment i had to go through in a new place. Now my connection would be discontinued.
                                      I must say the service provided by Airtel is grossly unaccptable and lousy. I think they should stop spending on filmstars to promote their lousy service and invest in the service itself.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — wrong information

                                      I had a post paid connection. Ms. Diya from Mohali Air-tel Office called and asked for new add on connection. The monthly rent and call charges, she quoted is absolutly wrong and about five time less than actual. Now Company imposed a different rent and call charges. It also added a activation fee of Rs50 on my previous no monthly. The rent Is Rs 200 On add on connection.
                                      I logged a serious complaints against Ms. Diya. But no action was taken so far.
                                      In the last I concluded That AIR TEl is most corrupt and worst company.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — Carressment by collection agents

                                      This is to bring to your notice that my wife Mrs Prabha Markandan was having airtel postpaid connection and it had to surrendered in March 2009 as he had to go out of India on official duty.. The bills were fully settled and airtel had confirmed the closure of connection by March 2009. But airtel database records were never updated and the connection still remains in my wifes name and the number has been issued to somebody else (who if called upon says he is using it as a prepaid card).. Past 3 months the outstanding amount is increasing month after month (currently about 5000rs) and there is continous carrressment calls (using abusive language) from collection agents.. When called upon customer care last month, they informed that system was not updated and the problem will be rectified.. but so far no action is taken from airtel side and unnecessarily we are subject to abuse.. The connection subject to the issue is [protected]. Please do the needful.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — wrong information

                                      I, avikalp sharma using airtel number since last 5yrs.recently i took airtel services on my blackberry mobile phone .i took RS 249 rental plan in which they told me that there is no extra charge apart from Rs 249 nd u can do internet surfing in this plan without any extra cost.but last month i got my mobile bill they r chargeing Rs 1400 for that servics apart from Rs 249.I m ready pay my bill amount except RS 1400 .

                                      AIRTEL POSTPAID ISSUE — WRONG INFORMATION

                                      HI SIR ,
                                      THIS IS ANKIT JHA . I HAVE JUST PURCHASED MY AIRTEL POSTPAID SIM ON MONDAY AND IT GOT ACTIVATED ON THIS MORNING THAT IS TODAY
                                      MY ISSUE IS AT THE TIME OF BUYING MY CONNECTION I WAS INFORMED THAT MY AIRTEL TO STD CHARGES WILL BE 0.50/MINUTE BUT AFTER MY SIM GOT ACTIVATED I CHECKED MY PLAN
                                      MY PLAN WHICH WAS GIVEN WAS 149/MONTH IT IS THE SAME PLAN BUT THE CALL CHARGES NOW FOR STD FOR WHICH I RECEIVED THE MSG IS 1RS/MINUTE
                                      AND THIS IS NOT DONE .

                                        Thank you very much for the lovely Airtel 3G service I am experiencing till date.
                                        However I have landed up with a similar problem I faced earlier.
                                        I recharged my mob data card mob number for Rs. 450 for 2Gb datapack on 10/3/2013. The transaction was completed by debit card on line. The amount was deducted from Bank Account immediately. How ever this is the SMS I received from Airtel and my 3G data pack has not been recharged till today. I cannot contact any customer service representatives as is usual with Airtel.
                                        10/3/2013 at 21:27 hours.
                                        Your Airtel mob number [protected] on line recharge txn ID 208849 of Rs 450 has been initiated. Please keep this txn ID for future reference.
                                        Also, A message came for the failure of the procedure.
                                        Your Airtel mobile [protected] online recharge txn ID 208849 of Rs 449.0 failed due to some technical reasons.

                                        I kindly request you to look into this matter and do the needful please.
