Dear Sir,
On my request through their webside for disconnecting my fixed and broadband line No. [protected] Account No. 14797432 in the month of July, 2012 I had received a mobile message confirming me “The service request 18952180 logged on 19th July, 2012 for your airtel fixed line [protected] is now resolved. Status.: closed " (Received from message centre [protected]on 4th Sept. 2012). I had also paid two bills ‘Bill date 18th July, 2012 for Rs.719.04 and 18th August, 2012 for Rs.667.58 respectively. On 26th Oct. 2012 I also sent mails to i) nodal.[protected]@airtel.in ii) appellate.[protected]@airtel.in and iii) care.[protected]@airtel.in informing and requesting them to settle the matter at the earliest. The authority is still sending me monthly bills against the aforesaid telephone line though they have disconnected the same. In spite of several request they are not taking back their instrument and issuing me the no objection certificate. The authority is not at all ready to refund the deposit money lying idle with them. Disturbance and utterance of offensive language has become a regular feature by different tele-callers of the company. Kindly look into the matter and enable me settle the matter.

Bharati Airtel Limited — Wronful deduduction of balance

Dear sir,
Despite my several complaints, Airtel is continously deducting wrongfully the balance making false pretensions.Again, My balance was yesterday(on14/03/08) 319.18 but it is now (on15th march08) 271.18 without using any service.It is noteworthy that Hello Tune and Yahoo Zone is not active with my mobile net service, as told by airtel after duly verification. Please inquire into the matter at earliest and add the wrongly deducted amount to my balance soon. It is really a total mischief done by the sources and is a subject to book these matter in Consumer Forum.It is to kindly inform you that I am publishing this news in .

Bharati Airtel Limited — Without delivering bill in time Outgoing service Stopped

Dear Sir
My cell no is [protected] at Hyderabad Sim iuused By Airtel as Post Paid Service.
The bill is payable by my employer FMC India Pvt ltd, Patancheru AP
Without receive a bill how company can pay the amount onthe basis of SMS amount.
Here the Airtel service providers without bothering to deliver the bill to my company
They have directly stopped outging service from this Cell no.
I hope this kind of act should be punishable offence.

Bharati Airtel Limited — Wrong Billing False Commitment

Dear Sir,

This is regarding my email and communication dated 11/02/2011, I have stated my concern about my wrong billing for landline number[protected], and received call from your side person named Mr. Rakesh Kumar stating that he will solve this issue. Within 2 days i received a acall back from his end stating that i will receive a SMS stating the discounted amount i have to pay and they also told me to change me the bill plan to 649/- unlimited. Since then i have not received any SMS but received abusing calls from AIRTEL customer care asking for complete amount which have been charged wrongly. There after i tried to Write [protected]@airtel.in but in vain. No reply no responce.

Recenlt 2-3 days back i received a SMS stating a amount of 1183/- for my landline bill. I made that payment via Mcheck. Next day i received another SMS stating 1226/- and i do the payment for the same and my connection got disconneted. Day before yesterday i received a SMS demanding 947/- as a bill to be paid. My first question to AIRTEL how many time do we need to pay in a month? And how come a 649/- unlimited plan wothout making any call can give you a bill above 1000/-. As earlier i was having 849/- plan and i use to pay the same amount 1183/-. And also used this 649/- plan back in delhi with no.[protected] and maximum bill used to be every month 700/- + . Not 1000/- bugs. I need complete clarification for this charged amount as i spoke to Customer Care since last 3days. And thoes uneducated bugers dont know how to deal with customers. Every new guy gives some new non sence.

Please look into this matter. As i believe Airetl has good name and customer satiesfaction background but due some non responsive and responsible employee loosing their fame. If this problem doesnot get solve i would request you to please close this account as soon as possible to help me go for another connection as i need it very urgent.

Bharati Airtel Limited — Wrong allotment of numbers by Airtel

Dear Sir

We had registered for the five new connection at Rohini Sector -7, Branch Of Bharati Airtel Limited. We asked for the available best number as we want for the commercial purpose.
The list of number was provided to us among which we choose 41418000 for which they also asked the amount of Rs. 5000 as the number is VIP and consist of triple zeros, we even agreed for the terms and made the payment. However the cheque was returned later.

We also wanted four more numbers in series so we choose 41419753/54/55/56, for which separate payment of Rs. 2500 was done.
All the payment was done on[protected] and we were promised that the connection will be activated within one week but till 24th nothing was done.
On 26th wiring for was done and, on 27th people came for starting the line. On asking the numbers they are being activating, we were informed for the numbers 41425830/31/32/34 which we didnt approved.

Now when we asked for the numbers that we booked earlier, we were being told by that the numbers are not available specially 41418000 for which we were insisting from the earliest as it is being already allotted to someone else. And to install the other numbers it will take one more week.

We even started using the numbers for printing and distribution at various places being satisfied that the numbers will be started within one week as we made the payment.

Now this is to bring to your notice that kindly provide us the numbers that we booked at the earliest as we made payments for those numbers only.
I am hereby attaching the copies of the invoice in which all the detailed information regarding the numbers to allotted is mentioned.

We being a loyal and valuable customer who has 10 hunting lines, 3 broad band connections, and 4 hunting lines at Dwarka and Rohini are being given this kind of treatment.


The company all of sudden have behaved so irresponsible.

Kindly pursue this matter on an urgent basis and resolve my problem.

    DEAR SIRS,

    I have been complaining from day one I got associated with Bharti Airtel as a customer regarding disturbance in line and occassional 'WAITING SIGNALS' on IPTV and regular interuptions in BROADBAND. My account # 14549585and landline # [protected].

    Now, as per the version of the area service Engineers Mr.Mukesh and Mr.Kuldeep the service line which is underground has gone faultyand needs replacement but unfortunately I am the only Airtel user in this area so it might cost the company and hence are unable to replace.

    Lastly he suggested to go in for HD SYSTEM with DISH so that it gives uninteruptd service.

    I once again request you to provide me with HD SYSTEM and we can have long further association,since I am your more than four year old cutomer.

    AirTel — faulty service

    Dear sir,
    I am user of your Airtel network. My name is Prahalad and my number is: [protected].

    From April 6th messages from my number was not going thus i registered a compliant at your customer care and my complaint number is[protected]. My reference number of making call is [protected].

    From past 60 hours I am not able to send messages and only my number is having the problem where as other customers are able to message.

    I am not even able to call customer care people. If i call 198 it says call 121 and there is a message saying send a message to 121 as AIRTEL.

    I even tried calling nodal officer but it says today is a government holiday and nodal officer is unavailable.I have written to the appellate and even nodal officer but no use. There is no response from there side.
    They simply call up and say something finally say will call in a while but no response no action has been taken.

    Therefore i request you to look into the matter and correct my problem.

        A customer executive has took the money for a new broadband connection and after three days after trying for so many times he connects us to the technical department and these people say "we don't have feasibility in your area, sorry for the inconvenience" and the executive is saying he needs 20 days of time to return the money.......The executive has to have the knowledge on the areas that are covered under the broadband.....this lack of knowledge leads to the wastage of time of the customer.

        The company has to take serious action regarding this

        This is the worst scenario...how does a very reputed company recruit such people as executives. They should train those people in all aspects and give information to them regarding each and every thing present.

        Hello everyone,
        I am from Bangalore and i too faced a problem like this, when it comes to taking the money they come like pizza delivery boys, and while returning they are behaving like government employees. AIRTEL please take care and make broadband available to all or train your people where it not present.
        I am also from hyderabad, airtel has done the same thing to me not only in broadband but also in postpaid and prepaid. Even though we don't subscribe to any services money is getting deducted from our account and executives doesn't have the needful information.
        it is worst case how can they come and take money without knowing their coverage area making customers fools this not a right thing to do by AIRTEL employees
        i am sekhar from hyderabad, a person has come to my home after i inquired about the plan and made me fill the details and took money, documents. now they are saying no coverage at our area...and the person who took money is not responding correctly.

            I live in apartment "Shree Homes, Green Garden layout, Sai Baba Nagar Road, Kundalahalli Gate, Bangalore-37". Airtel has almost 10 broadband connections in the various flats in this building. They have put a big loose WIRE WEB right in front of the lift entrance. Here is their control box also. The cabling is all over the place and looks so disgusting, like a 1840 year old cabling. In spite of various complaints, they are not correcting this. This is causing inconvenience and visual discomfort.

              iam a regular customer of this company.past 4 years manage this mob no.They change thier rate without any informations. ie now i use 97 ratecutter card with the scheme of SMS 5 paisa local call 50 paisa aitel call 15 paisa. but some times before they charge SMS 5 paisa local call 49 paisa aitel call 10 paisa. but now they charge SMS 50 paisa local call 50 paisa aitel call 20 paisa. they make as a fool.

                hello sir, i want to block few contact on my airtel number, can tell me the procedure of blocking the contact no. Thanx in advance
                i am tanu sehrawat D/o Mr.dharamvir sehrawat.I have prepaid airtel number which was converted from postpaid to prepaid in the month of october.During conversion of connection i had already submit my documents.but after about 15 to 20 days airtel service has barred my phone calls by giving me resaon that i have not submitted my documents.So,after that i visited again airtel office in BALAJI TELECOM,building no 1,munjal complex ROHTAK.
                i told them about my problem and they admitted that this was happened because of some internal problem .but after few hours my service starts again.
                Now on 30th November 2009,i faced this problem again with same problem.
                please notice my complaint and take some serious action.

                  I have airtel broadband connection.[protected]due to some reason i have not paid the bill for 4months. On 11/03/2013 i paid 3510rs and got the slip. On 13/03/13..i called customer care because internet and landline yet not started working.and executive told me my connection is permanent dissconnected. And now your connection will not work anymore.i have to take new connection. I want to know i have cleared all pending dues with fine. Without informing how can they dissconnect my landline and broadband connection.what to do. Can i file a case against the company. for continue my connection or refund my money

                  Airtel - Broadband & Telephone — Permanent Disconnection of Broadband & Landline

                  Well I was using Airtel's Broadband connection. In August 2008, I decided to get it disconnected as I wasn't using it much, so I got it disconnected. Airtel technicals came down to my home and disconnected it. It seems so smooth till now.. doesn't it!? but there is more...

                  After disconnection I didn't receive any bill from Airtel for couple of months, but after that out of blue these guys started sending me bills, without me using any of their services.? I registered complaints to their head office in Chandigarh over, but nothing happened. Moreover, I got 100s of calls from some random Airtel representatives, forcing & trying to convince me to carry on relationship with Airtel Services. It carried on till Feb 2009. I would register a complaint that I was receiving bills with no connection installed; these guys would keep on assuring me that they had forwarded my request and necessary actions will soon be taken.

                  Then in March 2009, again, I received a call from Airtel guy telling me that I have a pending bill to deal with. At that time I had my Fiancé interested in installing Airtel broadband at her place, so I asked this guy to move my connection to her house. This guy checked and assured me that area where my Fiancé was living at was wired and he'll be able to move my connection to new location as soon as possible (or I should say as soon as I pay my previous pending bill, which I wasn't using). He tricked me in paying him 500 some how. Later on I received a call from Airtel Technicals verifying if I wanted to transfer my phone to new location? As soon as I said "yes" I was told the new location is NOT WIRED!!! AARGGHH!!

                  Couple of days later I get a COURT NOTICE from Airtel, that if I don't pay the bill i would have to face the Consequences..!! WWOOOOO!!! So I went to Airtel's Office personally and descried whole scenario to one of Representatives 'Gagan Kaur Baweja'. Now she tells me it’s their fault and she'll try to waive all my dues off and will inform me about that. NOTHING HAPPENED!. About a week later I went there AGAIN! she tells me that she forgot to inform me, my due bill can't be waived off, but my connection is permanently terminated. So I won't receiving any bill now what so ever. That over-smart girl had PUT A RED FLAG ON MY ACCOUNT instead o[censored]sing the regular process.

                  I waste enough of my time with these People. I Advise you all to get some sort of proof, If you were in same situation. And keep Track of the referace number u get whenever you call their call-centers about some serious issues.

                  Moral :
                  Airtel = Lazy / Lame / Irresponsible / And a Bunch of BIG LIARS. These people just want to make money. LOSERS

                    i m having a mobile connection number [protected].........i had balance in my account arnd...105 yesterday(11th march 2013) and in morning i recived a messege ..interent pack has been renewed on your airtel mobile and u have been charged with rs 98.enjoy 650 mb browsing for 21 days..

                    though i already had net pack on my number recharged on[protected] at 12.11pm mrp 126rs tax 13.86.transaction id [protected]..validity 30 days benefit 1gb 2g data

                    now they r not giving any fruitful response and not returning my money when contacted they r saying system is being updated contact after 4 hrs and everytime they charge me 1-2 rs while keeping me hold on

                    plz look into the matter

                    On 23rd April, 2008 I have received cricket update messages from Airtel and Airtel has deduced Rs. 30/- as rent of the same without my request. I have tried many times to contact Airtel Customer Care but not succeeded. At about 8:15 PM I have succeeded to talk to Airtel Customer Care Executive and they told me that i can submit a complaint in 198 toll-free number and they also suggest me to unsubscribe the facility of cricket update. Thereafter I first unsubscribe the cricket update facility and thereafter I call 198. The receiving person told me that their system is not working properly so call them after 1-2 hours or at the next date.

                    Thereafter I call them in 8:00 AM on 24th April, 2008 and then they call me that they have not received the feedback of the system and I shall call them after 5-6 hours. I call them again at about 7:30 PM. That time they give me a complaint number and told me that they will take action and intimate me within 48 hours.

                    I call them again at 28th April, 2008 but they have after receiving information regarding deduction of amount cut the call. I have tried continuously. On the 4th attempt I talk the Airtel Customer Care Executive and they assure me that they will refund back my amount on 29th April, 2008.

                    Again I wait and again they people not complete their promise. When I call them today i.e. 01.05.2008 they said that the deduction of amount is our fault.

                    The service of Airtel is becoming very bad in the last couple of years. I am ready very upset and we have used 3 prepaid and 2 postpaid connection of Airtel and I have facing the problem in all the connection.
                    DEAR ALL,

                    THIS IS AS PER THE TELECON I HAD WITH Ms. RASHMI BHATNAGAR ON 24.06.2008, REGARDING DEDUCTION OF MONEY FROM MOBILE NO. [protected] VERY FREQUENTLY, i.e. Rs. 100/- IN A WEEK FOR NO REASON DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. THE MESSAGE THAT CAME UP FROM MOBILE NO. [protected] TO MOBILE NO. [protected] STATES THAT “I WILL GET IT FROM YOUR FATHER AT 11. BUT WHEN I SHOULD RETURN IT BACK AFTER SEEING IT.” BOTH THE MOBILES BELONG TO Mr. MANI, BUT MOBILE NO. [protected] IS BEING USED BY HIS WIFE. Mr. MANI’S WIFE CLAIMS THAT SHE HAS NOT SENT ANY MESSAGES TO HIM FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. THE SAME MESSAGE WAS REPEATEDLY SENT 16 TIMES FROM MOBILE NO. [protected] TO [protected]. THERE WAS A BALANCE OF Rs. 18/- IN MOBILE NO. [protected], WHICH GOT FULLY DEDUCTED AND AT PRESENT HAS ZERO BALANCE. THESE TYPES OF PRANKS / TRICKS FROM A REPUTED TELECOM COMPANY LIKE AIRTEL IS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. YOU ARE REQUESTED TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AT THE EARLIEST IN ORDER TO AVOID DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICES. PLEASE ACTIVATE DO NOT DISTURB LIST AT THE EARLIEST TO ENABLE SMOOTH HARMONIOUS INTERACTION WITH YOUR ESTEEMED ORGANISATION.

                    This is regarding the nefarious business practice of Airtel Prepaid in
                    Orissa Circle.

                    The Operator seems to activate various "Plans" without any information
                    to the subscriber, and then deduct the amount from the prepaid
                    balance.

                    If the customer complains to the Customer care, they say "You have
                    activated such and such plans hence the amount was deducted", which is
                    clearly false. Sometimes the deducted amount is credited back, but
                    most frequently it is not so.

                    In my case, on 9th June 2009, between 04:57 PM and 8:30 PM four services
                    were activated on Mobile- [protected] automatically, without my
                    knowledge or intervention or anything. The services are
                    1. WORD_PACK
                    2. JUMAANI_WAP
                    3. CRICKET SUB PACK
                    4. SAIBABA_PACK

                    An amount of Rs 120 was deducted.

                    When I complained to the customer care, they tried to dodge my
                    questions, but after a lot of haggling, they finally reverted the
                    money.

                    Also, on 2nd July, my WAP services have automatically been "upgraded"
                    and Rs 10 has been deducted every DAY, again without my knowledge or
                    intervention. When I noticed the deduction, I asked the customer care.
                    Again they tried to placate me by saying "You have subscribed to such
                    and such plans" . Again they have reverted Rs 10 + 70 = 80 (Eight day's charge).

                    So you may kindly direct the Operator to desist from such nefarious
                    business practices.

                    I am owner of prepaid mobile no [protected]. On oct, 2,2000 AL Entertainment deducted a sum of Rs15
                    from my account. According to the sms I was charged for a service that they provide. I had never
                    given consent for this service. On talking to customer care on 3 oct they reverted the sum back to my account.
                    But on the same day I received another sms from AL Entertainment about deducting Rs10 for health service.
                    Needles to say I had never given permission for this. Now I am unable to reach customer care either.

                    I'm receiving some ads on my cellphone through airtel. Those ads. are about some good for nothing schemes (like love messages ,jokes sms etc) @ 10 / day or something .And worst part is that I'm getting subscribed to those schemes automatically and money is being deducted from my balance.This happened to me several times .I called customer care and informed to them about this but no action has been taken.

                    Airtel mobile connection — Dedeuction of money without authorisation.

                    Recently I had taken an Airtel mobile connection. Thereafter I made a recharge of Rs.49 to facilitate 1p/second faciliity. Then I charged for an amount of Rs.50. Immediately after recharging, I got a message regarding "daily dhamaka" game. The moment I opened the message, another message came saying that my name has been included for the game and started deducting Rs.5 per day. I took up the matter with Airtel by e-mail knowing clearly well that sending SMS will only add to the charges. Actually I have not sent any SMS accepting the terms of the game nor did I play any game. The concerned people washed their hand saying that the daily Dhamaka is controlled by another body. Actually I recharged for using the phone and paid the amount to the Airtell and not for playing game. Inspite of that the wrongly debited amount has not beden credited to my acccount. This is quite unethical.

When I have been inquired to Airtel customer care , Jodhpur then I knew that Rs. 99 charged for loading the Game Club but I was not use such type of services in my mobile. It is just like fraud with customer. I have been cheated about Rs 99/ through one way .                     this is Sandip and I unfortunately took Airtel Dish TV connection (Customer ID [protected]) .
                    I recharged yesterday but nothing works, for every Channel it shows 'You have not subscribed for this channel. I am trying to see Start Sports, Neo Sports/Cricket, Ten Sports but nothing works.

                    I called up customer care more than 5 times, and everytime they cut my call. First of all it takes me almost two minutes by the time I get to Customer care executive and when the call connects they disconnect.
                    I sent SMS, ' HELP' to 54325 but nobody called me up till now.

                    I am totally pissed, if Airtel cannot provide the service a before better quit.

                    I have just checked a message from Airtel that Rs 10 has been deducted for airtel talkies_10 plan.Can anyone pls let me know what this plan all about.I have never opted for this plan.Please let me know on whose request this plan was activated and for how many months you have been deducting this amount.

                    But i requested to activate it about to 10:00 am to 12:00 am but it was not activate at that time. I called to customer care but he showed disability to solve the problem. It was activated on the night time about 10:00pm which was the near about pack expiry time. So i request to do some necessary action

                    On nearly 7th february, midnight i was charged Rs.210 inspite of Rs.100.80 for makin ISD cal to gulf country. For which i already had got tarrif done for Rs.35 on 5th february after consulting from airtel customer care only..They told me on 5th that after gettin this tarrif done my charges to Isd calls will be 7.2 paisa/second but inspite of that they charged me Rs.15/minute..And til date i have complaint 3 times to airtel but they are not resolving it and even they not assuring if further my rates for ISD calls will be 7.2 paisa or not..And without resolving my previous problem they charged me Rs.45 on 14th february that is yesterday for hellotune activation which i did not make..When i complaint the customer care again today they hanged up the phone without listening to me properly two times..
                    I am so fed up this airtel service now because they cheat people so much..Every other day they cut my balance for no reason...And if they cant run their buisness on their own then why dont they close it rather than cheating people..

                    Although I did not subscribed for any service given by uninor mob.Company,still they activated some service.And I lost Rs.250 from my balance on different dates in 2012. I complained for this negligence to customer care,but they are not ready to listen and take my complain.I spoke to many times to the customer care but someone is telling that the money has been deducted for internet service and the other customer care is telling that some no services has been activated.So refund my money.

The browser opened for the click on that ads. soddenly the GPRS paused and a flash message came informing about the deduction of Rs90. At last no page was shown in the browser. Frustated i called customer care 198. They said i have downloaded 'MP3FULL SONG', whereas i didnt get any of the services. the ads showed nothing but mere pics of actresses. On 4th august i again called to airtel cc, to verify what had actually happened. they said Rs 90 was deducted due to 'AIRTEL GAMES CLUB'. i also have the recorded conversation of two time talk to CC. i need justification here and my Rs90 should be credited on my number

                        I was having a Airtel Prepaid number ([protected]) for more than five years and you know by know all my contacts have my number. I am a consultant and travel abroad a lot. Last time when I came back from Kuwait through Hyderabad, as soon as I was in h-bad I switched on my mobile and found to have low balance and recharged my mobile for 500 Rs and made a call to my brother. That's it my mobile was not showing any GSM signal. I contacted air-tel and inquired what happened they told me a funny answer " as I was not using my mobile for more than 3-months their system has deactivated my number". If you and your system are that so clever, why did you allow me to re-charge my mobile number?. What you did was ? you were waiting like a thief outside the ATM, once you get the money you steal it and say it a standard process. SO SO SO Cheap call center customer care.
                        They don't know what their job is and are happy to give some dumb answers always.

                        Now these companies have grown big they are least bothered to care for customers, its ok if you don't care, but at least "DO NOT STEAL". People are robbed in clear day light in front of all your friends, near and dear one and still unable to do nothing about the situation.

                        If any Airtel representative read this if they want to challenge my complaint, Please do call me at :[protected].

                        Airtel — they are thiefs they took my 500/-

                        I took Airtel postpaid connection # [protected] on my wife's name from Airtel, Pune, Swargate office representative came to my home.
                        I paid 500/- and check got cleared on[protected]
                        I cleared telephonic enquiry.
                        Later it was address verification.
                        No body came and my phone got deactivated. Outgoing was bannd. Lot of incovenience.
                        I called up airtel customer service for lot many time and every time they promised to send someone for address verification. Once the lied, they said some time, and in fact we were at that address for whole day. Abnd pretty sure no one came. Till date no one has come to my house. If I call up 888 from airtel outlet then they just say it failed for address verification and if asked for solution then they mentioned to use that as prepaid. Which is big joke.

                        One very good thing about airtel is the outlet is just a sales centre and they have nothing to do with airtel customer service. They entertain customer if and only if you are willing to buy new connection from them.

                        I want my 500/- back as I am not at all interested to go for prepaid.

                        Even I can't make outgoing calls and use my 500/-

                        I want to file compliant against airtel to get my money for all thier trouble.

                        Hello sir/madam,

                        Airtel has been stealing my balance in smaller amounts like 3.00 INR, 8.00 INR and such smaller amounts. Whenever i top up they just take some money. I made a complaint few months back and there were no such cases. But they have again started it since last month.

                        They have introduced MMS activation and few other things to steal which i never activated. Please ask them to return all my money. They have taken more than 200 INR from me.

                        In the above complaint the AirTel Prepaid number that I had reported problem with was typed wrongly, The number which I had the problem was (0091-[protected]), The above number ([protected]) is still with me and still with Airtel Network.

                        I was glad to hear some guys from AirTel, Delhi called to my India number inquiring about this complaint. I will be more than happy if they do some justice to refund my money and educate their Customer Care Representative (Especially in Chennai).

Whenever I call 121 and select the required options to talk to Customer Care Executive the IVR voice says it will connect to the executive , but the call gets disconnected abruptly after the IVR voice ends.                                 Complaint on Huge Bill Amount of airtel Postpaid Connection,

                                As I was using the Airtel Postpaid connection since last 3 years, My number was [protected], and all was working well, no due, no complaint, In last 3 years my bill amount was always below Rs 1000/-however in December 2012, they have raised my bill amount to 35000/-, without any intimation to me that your bill has been exceeded at your credit limit, as my phone bill credit limit was 2500/-, as I had activated 2G plan of 4 GB download in 249/- p.m. after that they sent me only one message that i have till now, that your mobile bill amount has been 48000/- and please pay at the earliest, .
                                so here my concern is if my phone credit limit was set to 2500/- then how did they allowed to increase the amount to 48000/-, and why didn't they informed or message to me that your credit limit has been exceeded,
                                then why i got the message that your bill has been reached at 48000/- then i called to customer care and asked me why my bill has been increased so much, & why didn't u not inform me, then they didn't reply on it, and next day in the night suddenly they stopped my outgoing call, without any intimation to me, then again i called to customer care, so they was telling that you have to pay your outstanding bill,
                                I requested and called to customer care so many times to start my outgoing but they didn't start the outgoing, , then after couple of days they disconnect/block the Sim.one more thing which I had checked in my bill details, that if i activated 2G internet Plan then how come they charged the amount at the 3G, which is showing in the BIll.
                                Hence I request to you to sort out this issue.

                                I have all the proofs and messages for activation of plans services etc.

                                This amount is very very big and unimaginable it is very shocking and if something happen to my mental or physical condition Airtel will be responsible for that.

                                i have asked u many times to reduce my cerdit limit. but u people are not responding properly. could u pleasse reduce my credit limit to RS.500. i hope the posive reply from ur side.                                 AirTel — increase in bill amount without using its services

                                i got a sms from airtel that i m running high usages in tune of rs 20000 in just 15 days as bill cycle starts at 5th.i m very much worried and surprised as i have not used so much.usually i get monthly bill appx.1000 to 1500. i do not understand how this is happning.seems someone has hacked it or airtel is adding other bill to me.
                                usages as on 17.2.2009 4.30pm rs.19748.60
                                usages as on 18.2.2009 9.30am rs.19996.70
                                usages as on 18.2.2009 8.30pm rs.20024.20 .
                                this is to inform u that i have stopped making calls since 17.2.2009 4.30pm.barred voice mail and airtel live, gprs . still amount is increasing it self

                                This is to bring to your notice that, I have received a bill for the period of 26/July/09 to 25th Aug/09 vide bill no.[protected]. The total bill abount is Rs.771/-.

                                To my surprise, there 7 calls made from my number which is not made by us. The numbers are [protected] & [protected], [protected] dated 27/07/09 to location BANDA (U.P). The calls are made during afternoon time where no family members are there at home. Between 9.30 to 5.30 pm, the flat is always closed. The matter has been reported to vide complaint no:23980618 dtd 5th Sept. After two days, I received a call saying the calls are being made from my telephone.

                                Please note that these calls are being made by someone, without using my phone. This has to be thoroughly investigated and replied soon. The amount overcharged should be waived off in the forthcoming bill.

                                I bought airtel connection which i paid 4000 Rs. for the device and 600Rs. for connection,

                                it took a week time to start the connection, atlast i got, coz i had already paid the money, i hardly use the device coz, very very slow they dont provide the speed what they say, i did being to the Airtel Galleria. i had waist my time and money for the device.

                                But i disconnected the postpaid connection and requested it for prepaid, where i had the Balance which Airtel has to pay around 600 Rs. which i had balance in my account, But still the services was useless, i return the simcard, they promise me to return the money after 45days,

                                AND now there are sending me a cheque of Rs:243 Rs.

                                I think they should stop fooling customers around, Its better for them to Beg in the Public rather then fooling around.

                                I thought its been the fastest connection, i spend 4800 Rs. and this is what the customer is getting back in returns

                                Airtel Postpaid — huge bill

                                Hi,sir i was with airtel from last 4 months . I was given a plain of 175 rs rental but when a bill came it was 250 rental i talked to them wait for a long queue on phone they told me, pay the bill next bill would be 175 .On the next month result was the same i paid 250 restal for 4 months regularly they didnt do any thing i always call them and request for the same thing..on the 4 rth month i stooped using that and asked them i will only pay the bill when they will reduse my rental but they didnt..my no was [protected]....i was so mentally harrased seeing my bill regularly increasing..

                                Airtel — WITHOUT USING THE NUMBER GET BILLED FOR 2500

                                Hi,
                                Am a Software Professional took Airtel Postpaid connection through my company. During initial days i felt am getting moderate bill when days goes on they started billing me[protected]. Finally when i surrender my number they billed me 2500 though i did not use that number for that month, When i dialled them and shouted they reduced my bill to 1000 and they said they give the settlement letter

                                I paid 1000 before 2 months till date i did not get my settlement letter instead i started getting call from Airtel asking for rest of the payment

                                I shouted them and said i am ready to meet them in consumer court

                                my mobile no.is [protected] n i did recharged for 200/- on 01/04/11 but i didnt get the amount n i lodged a compalint on 5th n i did spoke with a supervisor anitha she asked me to get it recharged for 27/- which i did n she promised to get back my balance amount by 7th which didnt happened n i called back on 7th n 8th n they said they are going to mail across n by 2 days it will get sorted but as usual nothing happened n i called today that is 11/04 today they are saying the sims life got expired so how come the recharge gone thru when the life of the sim card got expired,these people are just cheating the public not more than that n from today onwards i will try to make as many as friends n family members to move out from airtel to other network becoz these people are cheating n upon that the customer service people ahhhh cant say more waste of time.

                                Airtel — Huge bill amount - exceeding the set credit limit

                                Hi,

                                I own(ed) a mobile post paid connection +[protected]. I had set the credit limit for that number as Rs. 3000 which is for unbilled usage. However, my outstanding amount for the month of June 2011 was Rs. 4855.12, which is an absolute shock.

                                When I expressed this concern so many times to so many people in Customer care, complaints and Nodal desk I hear different things. Some say, it is a valid concern and they'll route it to appropriate department. Some say, they give Rs. 500 discount on my June month bill and 15% discount on my next six months bill. Some said, it's due to 3G usage in three days which is close to 240MB. Some others, said 3G usage for three days is 91MB. I am getting frustarted with all this. Finally, I am also told that the charges are valid. Because of all this, I've not made my outstanding bill payments and my number was made inactive.

                                I can not accept if my outstanding amount for any month exceeds my set credit limit, which is for unbilled usage. It is the right of the customer to decide how much he can afford to pay for mobile per month and thats why I'd set my credit limit to Rs.3000.

                                Please look into this at the earliest.

                                airtel /postpaid — no follow up of the complaint of dec 2011,even after 7 reminders

                                in month of dec 2011 raised request for signal problem at my home,after that 7 reminder put by me at costumer care.but till date problem is there.

                                Thanks for your prompt response, but the thing is that today I received legal notice from Airtel, so Please advise what should I do in that case.

                                As the Amount is very high and I am not in that condition to pay this unnecessary billed amount which was raised without any intimation to me. If the amount was increasing above the credit limit (2500) then it should have been informed to me,

                                So Please Suggest me the appropriate solution to avoid this and regarding that notice which is sent to me.

                                2, I have activated 2G Plan with 4 GB download 249/- pm, then how come its converted to 3g which is showing in my bill,
                                3. I checked my bill and found that 2g usage is 2000 rs, and 3g usage amount is 35000 something, so can you please tell me why &
                                when my 2g plan converted to 3g, and do u have any request of mine for 2g to 3g conversion.

                                Hence give me the reason that why I should pay 35000 rupees.

                                    I have been a customer of airtel broadband[protected] since last few years. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to move from my place and I requested for a disconnection. I got a call from the people of their retention department and they told me that there is a facility of connection being put on hold indefinitely without any charge.

                                    I paid the remaining amount in full in cash and also got the same written in receipt. They also reversed my Jan'13 bill because there was no usage and as we were doing final settlement.

                                    Now, airtel guys have started calling me again and the harrasment from them continues.

                                    Through your medium I would like to make people aware of the dubious approach of airtel in handling its customers.

                                    Airtel Broadband — Billing after disconnection of airtel landline and broadband.

                                    1.I have requested for deactivation of my landline number[protected] in name of Vikram Singh on 27 Jan10 Airtel referance number 305579.
                                    2.But calling on 22nd feb10 Airtel ref number[protected] I came to know still request was in process and executive confirmed me that billing will be maximum would be till 04Feb10. For deactivation confirmation I got call on 19 Feb10 and I confirmed for dectivation.
                                    3.I have paid Rs. 2445 ( Dec09 to Feb10 bill) amount deducted through my credit card ECS. So again I called up to CC Airtel referance number[protected] to check and I came to know that request was still under progress.
                                    4.I went to customer care and gave a written confirmation to stop ECS payment from my credit card.
                                    5.Today I received a SMS stating my landline bill for 13441315 is generated and the invoice amount is Rs. 752.
                                    6.Can you please take me out of this maze?

                                      Good morning,
                                      Today morning between 2:50 to 3:15am I had given call in customer care 121 from my number [protected] for inquiring about my complaint which was not resolved till time. I called up thrice for the same thing every time assurance was given of 4 hrs for resolving the problem, I made first complaint around 6:30pm yesterday and the problem got resolved after 12 hrs and had to call up three times for that.
                                      When I called up at 3:00am representative ask me about ma details I told him about the details I told him everything except the middle name of company but he wanted the exact information and he haven’t entertained me then in a professional manner I appreciate him on that but as my query was not that big or related to any account information and I was just asking about ma complaint number (f[protected]) that it has been resolved till time or not.
                                      His name was Ravinder else Rajender he was not talking in a professional manner as one should talk as a representative of a brand company, after getting the middle name when I tried calling 121 my call was dropped thrice and by my number till time I can’t connect to customer service may be I have been blacklisted and if so for what and why ,Then I called up same time from another number of my brother that is ([protected])then only I was able to connect customer care.
                                      Then the same guy picked up the call and now there was no profesionalǐzam shown by him regarding me he kept on arguing and complaint number was also not send after the call got disconnected.
                                      I want a answer about my dropped calls about why I am not able to connect in customer care till time ,why my complaint took 12 hrs to get resolved and why customer care representative behaved rudely

                                      I am based and operate out of New Delhi and maintain an Airtel # [protected].

                                      Back in April&#039;14, prior to going overseas to Vietnam and China on a business trip, I had called up local Airtel office and specifically requested that while my International Roaming may please be activated, the Data Services during the period of travel may PLEASE NOT BE ACTIVATED - and which understanding and confirmation was given to by the Airtel Rep who called me few hours prior to departure regarding same.

                                      But realsied during my stay overseas that i seem to be getting charged for Data Services courtesy your frequent SMS&#039;s. On my return back I immediately complained same but was told by your Customer Care that once the Bill was issued the issue would be addressed.

                                      Your Bill arrives with a fancy amount billed of approx Rs 30, 000 and odd and when complaint made again there is no response.M/while, I have made 2 part payments of Rs 5, 000/- and Rs 3, 000/- and informed your Solitaire Customer Service Center and was assured that the Bill was being addressed and issue resolved with data charges being removed as well as adjust for the part payments received and the revised amount informed so that payment could be made and issue closed.

                                      Its been One week and have not heard anything from your Solitaire Center office as was assured and today I realise all my outgoing calls have been blocked without any out notice.

                                      This is absolutely disgusting and a very unprofessional and immoral business practice adopted by Airtel and must be ashamed to resort to such practises. Is this the way Mr Sunil Mittal runs his business.Just having fancy slogans and advertisements is not everything in business.

                                      Here is a customer who has been informed that the mistake of over billing by Airtel would be resolved and informed of the new amount to be paid and settled and waiting like a stupid fool for the past one week to 10 days for your response and today without any prior intimation or notice conveniently block all outgoing calls.

                                      I expect someone responsible to address this issue immediate please and resolve this issue at the earliest.
